We tried this restaurant because we heard it was the children of Emma's Mexican Grill's which we loved. They did not disappoint. Salsa was not my favorite, it was very flavorful but I like super spicy salsa so that's a personal preference. We ordered the Enchiladas de Mole and Enchiladas Suizas, they were delicious, very well made. We could tell that the mole is and Susa sauces were made from scratch. We finished with the tres leches cake which was Devine, quite possibly the best I ever had. Service was good, restaurant was very clean. We highly recommend and we will be back.

Sabores Del Sol Mexican Cafe delivers. The Huevos à la Mexicana hit with fresh flavor—eggs cooked just right, beans smooth and topped with queso fresco, potatoes seasoned well, and fruit on the side. The Sandía Agua Fresca was refreshing and clean, the kind of drink you remember. Not pictured: the Café de Olla, bold and spiced, the perfect finish. Service was attentive without being over the top, and the vibe was laid back but welcoming. Solid spot for authentic flavor and an easy dining experience.

Very good restaurant, good atmosphere, good food, good customer service and for now i’d say there’s plenty of parking but who knows when it gets famous or popular. Enjoy it while is not busy at all yet, I got served in 5 minutes (Me and two more people were inside only) maybe that’s why but overall the food was good, big servings and they play music, have TVs to watch the games. Amazing! I could try the bar because i was not feeling drinks at the moment but next time for sure!!

Looking for Emma’s? Here it is! I’m not sure why the name changed with the new and smaller location. The menu is basically the same as the old Emma’s with a few discontinued items and some additional ones. The prices on many of the dishes have been lowered while the portions and recipes are the same. Much of the clientele is built of loyal regulars of Emma’s and, like me, they recognize many familiar faces serving customers, tending the bar and managing the restaurant.

Decided to finally try this place out. The ambiance is great, they redesigned it from the previous restaurant. We ordered happy hour house margaritas that were great. The chips and salsa were tasty. Our server was attentive and friendly. But that’s where the great stopped. The food left something to be desired. I tried the Sabores del Sol combo plate and the ground meat was just okay, as were the beans. I had the refried beans and they had an interesting taste that I still haven’t figured out. My husband got the enchiladas de camarones. He said the sauce was sweet, which is generally not the case. We won’t be back for the food but will definitely come for happy hour drinks and small plates.

This is definitely wonderful surprise. My husband had the Pollo Macarena- he loved it. My son had Enchiladas Monterrey- he loved. I had the Carnitas they were cooked deliciously. This place had little foot traffic. But work for us because we were let and serve fast. The waitress was courteous and helpful. It was wonderful experience. Unfortunately we enjoyed our food so much we didn’t have time to take pictures. Next time! Because we are going back!

Yelp
This is the newest offering by the Mendieta family. The menu is mostly the same as Emma's with a little lower prices. I missed Las Primas, the 3 different enchilada platter, and they didn't bring back Enchiladas Paraisos that we loved from Mely's, which we hoped might be on the new menu(hint, hint). There's still plenty to choose from, and the Enchiladas al Carbon, and Chiles Rellenos con queso was as good as we remembered when Emma's was running well. The service was a little glitchey since we were seated and got chips, but the waitstaff didn't seem to be assigned to our table. We had good service after we asked for someone. We were there 2 weeks after first open so hopefully it will get ironed out.

Yelp
Amazing chiles rellenos de queso de Chihuahua , arroz and beans with 3 delicious flour tortillas. Great costumer service and awesome ambiance. We'll be back!

Yelp
We went to sabores del sol on a Saturday. Sadly, was not busy for a Saturday night. It should've been. This restaurant is excellent. The service is good from the waitress to the woman who refills the drinks, and the chips. Everyone was very friendly and kind. The salsa is a red and green one, and have a little spice to them. The margaritas do not taste overly sweet or limey. We had their original frozen and they were good. They even have a happy hour type deal Monday through Saturday three P.M. to seven P.M.. There are combo special meals are also very good and very large portions. I had the sabor del sol special. It came with enchilada, flauta, and crispy taco. It also had a large side of salad, topping and cream cheese. The beef fajitas on the kids' tacos looked delicious and freshly cooked. The rice and beans were also tasty with the beans being very creamy. The restaurant has a lot of the same decorations as Emma. It is very clean and well taken care of. We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend.
