Had to get some car maintenance in Norman, so my hubby and I decided to get breakfast and this place popped up in the search. I'm so glad we decided on Juan del Fuego. When you first walk in, it gives diner vibes. The place isn't huge but is still a decent size. There's bar and table seating. We sat at the bar where you can see everything being cooked. After watching the interaction in the kitchen, I'm pretty sure it must be family owned. The food came out faster than I thought it would because when we arrived they were pretty full. We got the egg white and veggie omelette, biscuits and gravy, banana French toast, and papas con chorizo. Everything was delicious and needed NO doctoring (I usually end up doctoring/adding seasoning and sauce to make food taste better). Seriously, eating a mostly plant based/pescatarian diet makes it hard to eat out, but this place has one of the best veggie omelettes I've ever had and it wasn't overly cheesy like most. Also, the banana French toast was so good I didn't even need syrup. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for consistent, delicious, and reasonably priced food.
Hope you give it a try and like it! Thank me later!
