Best Indian food in Greely! The butter chicken was great but the naan was sooo good! Great atmosphere and service the guys that worked here were so nice! Oh and the samosas were delicious!

Everything was fine but I also ordered roti and you can see what kind of roti it is. If you eat it yourself, I will give it 5 stars and also give you extra money.

I recently moved to East Greeley from the Longmont area for school, and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to have some quality Indian food like I did down there. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! I like to try out a Lamb Vindaloo as a standard for Indian restaurants, and this cleared the majority of my previous Indian food experiences! They have amazing momos, too, that I was missing out from my local options! Their Naan is delightfully done right - not too flaky or crispy, not too fluffy and too doughy. Make sure you check out their lunch buffet too, all-you-can-eat buffet for $15.99, which I find to be a steal. If you are ever in downtown Greeley and craving some Indian/Nepali food, swing by here. Great staff, great food, inviting ambiance!

I tried this place based on the reviews also im up in this area so i thought i would give it a try. I wont sugar coat anything and this place is not bad but its average to me. Ive tried most of the indian restaurants from denver to littleton to thornton and up this way and most are pretty decent the best ive had before is bengal tigers indian cuisine hands down probably the best in colorado period. I would probably come here again the worker was nice but the curry tasted and texture was watered down to me and the flavor was there but not how it should be. Curry dishes should be bursting with flavor and aroma and a thick creamy texture but this was more runny not what im used to. The flavor could be more pronounced but it lacked that true indian cuisine taste that i enjoy. This is my review on this restaurant. I hope you all give it a try and share your thoughts as well.

This was our first time here, and even though it is off-peak lunch time on a Sunday, the buffet is absolutely delicious. For those of you who fear spicy food, you you can enjoy this place. We, a work crew and I, stopped by for a Wednesday lunch. We got there just as they unlocked the door. It was my first time here and second time at an Indian restaurant. One of my crew mates insisted it was spicy yet delicious. There was a lunch buffet and it looked good, but I avoid them. I ordered chicken Tikka vindaloo, hot. They have several choices of heat. Hot appeared to be the second the hottest. Indian hot was hotter. There were much milder options for the sauce. Don't let fear of heat stop you. The food was delicious. They were not kidding, the hot was hot. I tasted others who got more mild offerings and there was a definite difference in heat. We shared a giant rice bowl and some of the crew got naan bread, plain and garlic, which they shared. Both were good, but I preferred the garlic one and will order it next time. The server kept checking in and made sure our drinks stayed full. We were in and out in enough time for our lunch hour. I took half home to share with my son who loves spicy too. He has a peanut allergy and they assured me there were no peanuts in it. He thought the dish was yummy and even asked where it was so he could go. Don't hesitate to try this place, it was well worth the stop.

The food is always great. If you're someone who's eaten curry before or never has, Sherpa will not disappoint. There are always great deals going on, such as BOGO. My wife and I often come in or have it delivered to the house. If you dine inside, the service is always quick and accurate, and the smell is nice. If you're not used to it, it will hit you in the nose at first.

I've been coming here for years. The flavors are INCREDIBLE. I usually get the lamb rogan josh, lamb curry, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, depending on what the family desires, though branch out and get other things now and again. They are very fast with putting together to-go orders and have never missed anything- besides spice level. I love every employee i have interacted with. That being said. If all you want is mild, you're probably going to be super happy here. I KNOW they can do spicy, they have given it to me before, but... I ordered hot my previous to-go order and maybe go mild+ So this most recent time I ordered indian hot... and I got mild-. Yes, it tastes like negative spice. I'm dumping ground cayenne into this curry as I speak because I just don't think a lot of Indian tastes right unless it is spicy. Cayenne is all I have on hand right now because I used up everything else. Like, again, the flavor profile is great, it's just missing the spicy element. Maybe I will beg for spicy in the comments next time I order. I will never send something back for being too spicy. I have never encountered food that is too spicy. I know we live in Colorado where everything is a lil bland but please. I beg of you. Give me spicy food again. If people order too hot because they don't know what a proper spice level is, just let them suffer. I'm so frustrated. This is my favorite Indian restaurant around here and I HATE that I can't seem to order spicy food anymore. That dude that ordered a medium+ and complained in a review about "too spicy"??? idiot that can't handle spicy food!! order a mild you clown! Please!!! LET MEDIUM AND HOT BE ACTUALLLY HOT. why are we afraid of spicy food! it's so good!

I have had my wife order since my extremely bad experience. I still don't understand what happened. Since then, the food has mostly been good. Delivery has been pretty good as well. I admit we mostly get the bogo offer, but we are planning on trying the buffet so we can find out what else we like. Had my Daughter and her family try it and they loved it, too. Naan is very good, but pricey. I had the Lamb Rogan Josh once and it was incredible. I had butter chicken once, and it was a little strong and tough, but maybe that's correct for the dish. Tikka Masala is VERY good. I had beef meatballs once, which was a little generic (pretty sure they were store-bought) but the sauce still made it better than most restaurant fare, especially in Greeley. Truly a hidden gem.

We were exploring all day and worked up an appetite. Looked up restaurants in the area and we thought - let's check it out. Gotta love when it works We entered and were promptly seated. So many choices - we quickly decided to order family style so we could all sample. We ordered garlic naan, samosas and lamb biryani. And we were not disappointed. The food was brought out and we dived in. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The items are very good however, I love the lamb biryani. It was flavorful and nicely balanced. I look forward to returning and trying more of the items on the menu

When I say that this place serves some of the best naan I mean it. Do yourself a favor and order garlic, cheese, and jalapeño naan. It was delicious and something I would go there exclusively for. The menu is diverse. I ordered off the menu and another visit I had the buffet. Everything was great! The menu portions are filling and decent for the money. I ordered medium spicy and it had a nice amount of heat. Nothing crazy. The papadam was served fresh and crispy. Yummmmmm! When I went form the buffet I had three plates. It had a variety of vegetarian and meat options. The dal was perfectly cooked and spiced. The paneer was also a huge success! The green mint sauce here is decent but I was hoping for the flavor I usually get which has more spice and garlic flavor. They didn't honor the yelp check in coupon which was sort of a bummer. I don't think many people use the app in Greeley so I can kind of understand. Highly recommended!

Food and service are great! Medium heat is perfect and the portions are on point. I forgot to take pics but know it's good. I'm giving four stars cause the place could use a refresh but the kitchen is clean so don't get deterred.

It's not on the menu...but order a Bullet Garlic Cheese Naan. They make the naan fresh and I wanted Bullet Garlic Naan...but I also wanted Cheese Naan. So I asked if they could combine the two and they said of course because they make the naan fresh to order and will make it! It was fantastic! The buffet has plenty of options and all were delicious. The chicken pakora ordered from the menu were wonderful and like the best chicken nuggets you could ask for. Lastly, there was a happy hour special and I tried the adult mango lassi...it was so delicious!

We thankfully found Sherpa Grill after some research. It's a terrific Indian/Himalayan/Nepalese restaurant on the eastern edge of Greeley's downtown district. Bravo to my better half for nudging our adult family dinner to this wonderful, family-owned gem! It was well worth the hour-plus drive! Parking is easy, either on the street (metered weekdays) or in a huge lot across the street. The restaurant has booths and tables, a large interior, a full bar, and Coke products. It also offers delivery and takeout and has website deals. We loved our server, who guided us through her favorite menu items. She was spot on! We love Indian food, but we wanted to hear recommendations from someone who eats there daily. Their menu and website say: "Made with passion and love," and they live up to their motto! We shared multiple plates, and each was outstanding. Appetizer Saag Paneer was really good, the Garlic Naan was terrific, and Onion Bhaji Pakora was incredible, a dish that I had never tried before. I loved my main dish of Lamb Vindaloo, a delicious curry dish with chilis, potato, and a tasty broth. They have six levels of spices (mild, mild +, medium, medium +, hot, and Indian hot), and I selected Medium hot, which was amazing and about as much as I could handle. Others around the table picked various levels, and we happily drank water, Coke products, and seltzer water the entire meal. I LOVE their spicy ways! Hydrate!!!! We decided that we were coming back to enjoy their buffet (7 days a week from 11-230 PM), and I had a fun chat with the manager afterward when we commented on the quality of our food and server. We truly enjoyed our dinner, and after eating the leftovers a few minutes ago, I look forward to returning!

Was fabulous Indian dinner! The samosa were the best we've ever had! The garlic naan was thin, soft and so flavorful. We had Chicken Masala and lamb vindaloo. Large portions and choose you spice level! Such reasonable prices for a most excellent dinner out! A must go if your in Greeley!

Ambience: dirty floor, lots of flies. Bathrooms are filthy Tiki Masala: we asked for medium spice and appears more spicy than that. Not very flavorful, too salty Curry: I asked for medium+ but again, spice level was very high. curry was an extremely salty, not even edible. Tandoori Chicken: nice presentation, decent flavor. Again, we were constantly fighting the flies away. Service: waitress was very friendly and helpful .

I have been going to Sherpa for years and I can say it is one of the best restaurants in Greeley. It's not a super attractive restaurant but the food is INCREDIBLE. A bit of a wait to get the food but totally worth it. Try the mint chicken.

First time ordering... . The chicken Masala is one of the top items so I got that with garlic naan and I tasted 10/10, ALSO got it Med + hot man and let me tell yall.... Spice level was perfect. Garlic naan can eat multiple orders. Highly recommend this place ! Customer service was on point as well

I have been here a couple times and every time they are consistent with the quality of food. The service is also good. The butter chicken is seasoned very well, we got it Indian hot and it did not disappoint. The chicken tikka masala was also super tasty. Definitely liked the butter chicken more but both are great. The plain butter naan and garlic cheesy naan were both so good it was hard to choose which to eat. Highly recommend coming here if you ever get the chance.

Nicely decorated restaurant with music for ambiance. Our server was the best, he gave us excellent recommendations, had a nice welcoming personality, and provided excellent service. We didn't have to ask for anything. The eggplant with coconut cream was the best!

I went with a group of my high school Knowledge Bowl team students and we had a great meal. I had the lamb Rogan Josh and it was SO good! Everyone liked their meals and the service was great.

We drive up to Greeley every other month or so to Brewery hop and were looking for lunch nearby. We decided on this place simply because we figured, "Hey, it's Indian food so even if it's not great, it'll be good." But seriously, this place rivals some of my favorite Indian restaurants in Colorado! Flavors were excellent, and they had items I've never seen before, such as the (much recommended) cherry lassi. If I lived in Greeley, I'd be here AT LEAST twice a month. They'll be seeing us again!

I have not been inside here but I door dash here all the time. Some of the best Indian food I've had since leaving home & they're pretty timely too. My husband is always belly aching with Indian food & this time he was not belly aching at all. I'd love to actually come into the restaurant one day cause the foods amazing!

The quality of food and service was great. Been here a couple times and this is my favorite Indian/ Nepali restaurant in northern Colorado. Their naan is amazing and we always order them. It always comes with a big bowl of rice that we can share. Highly recommended this restaurant

We were sat immediately and they took our drink order. They gave us ample time to review the menu. We ordered vegetable pakora for an appetizer,it was sooo good. I ordered the tandoori chicken and my husband ordered lamb vindaloo. The portions were very generous. I would recommend either of these dishes

Very disappointed. $42.00 for bland dry rice. Some chicken that I thought was going to be crispy! No sauce for it because it's an extra $7.99. My boyfriend got butter chicken and paid $4.99 for extra sauce! I mean. These prices are ridiculous. Very disappointed in the quality of the food and prices we won't be back.

Dinner for the family. It was ready on time for pick up and the flavors were outstanding. We had the butter chicken and the chicken tiki masala along with the garlic naan. Highly recommend and we will definitely try it again.

I went to this Indian restaurant back in 2020, and ordered the chicken tikka masala. I found pretty good at the time. However, I decided to try this place again today (3/12/23) instead of driving down to my favorite Indian restaurant in Denver (Spice Room). I decided to order chicken momos as my appetizer. These are Nepalese dumplings containing curried chicken. I ordered them fried, and they were delicious. For my main course, I ordered the butter chicken, along with naan and rice. It was delicious. When living in Greeley, I've been mostly unimpressed with the restaurants here. However, this place is very good and a must try for someone living or visiting the Greeley- Garden City- Evans area. The service was good, and the ambience had an older diner feel. This place is located in an older building within Downtown Greeley.

This place is amazing!!! This is our go to place when it comes to Indian food. The food is always delicious with huge size servings. Everything they make here is outstanding. And the staff is always very friendly. Prakash is always greeting us with great customer service. We will always come back. This is by far my favorite restaurant! We have tired other Indian places and nothing compares to this one. We LOVE it!

Recently moved to the Greeley area and I've already been to this restaurant 3 times in 2 weeks! It's amazing! I'm vegetarian and there are so many options to pick from which is nice. The mango lassi is unbelievably flavorful. They make their own yogurt even. The waiter Nirmal, is so kind and very attentive. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Food had good flavor, although the "hot curry " was more a medium taste. Food prep this evening was extremely slow ( 70 minutes from seat to eat). Lamb was slightly undercooked to give a slightly "tougher" chew. Naan was average.

We had not been back to the Sherpa Grill for several years, but were pleasantly surprised by the remodeled look and so very happy that the food was, as always, excellent. Mishta sat us and got our drinks. We had been up for already 12 hours when we walked over to refuel at 11 a.m. We both filled our plates with generous helpings of the perfectly cooked rice: soft, separated, and fresh. My husband had all the spicy dishes (ChickenVindaloo) and wiped his brow in glee and satisfaction. I had the Mixed Vegetable Korma, Saag Paneer, and we both enjoyed the naan for spooning the delightful bites. Each preparation has its own special qualities that heartily readied us for another 12 to 16 hours of fun and work. Big thank you to all the staff and cooks who make this a place feel like you stopped by an old friend's house and they put out a spread, just for you. FANTASTIC! And as a side note, the pictures and music added to the memorable visit...we have a lot going on in life, and it was like a date in the middle of the day complete with the Taj Majal, Prayers Flags, and uplifting rythmns.

No wait but for some reason the poor waiter was all alone. He was the waiter, the bartender and the hostess. They definitely need more staff. Came for a birthday dinner. I'm gluten and dairy free, was able to eat with no problem. The food was amazing. So may choices. I had a onion type appetizer similar to onion rings, it was delicious. My dinner was a coconut chicken rice dish. It was all so delicious. It doesn't look like a lot of food but I had to take food home. I will be returning to try more dishes

When the grandkids come to visit, they always ask to eat here. Butter Chicken, Mix Tandoori, and Chicken Biryani are our favorite dishes

This place is delicious !! I had never eaten Indian food before but my friend at work suggested it and we ordered it for delivery. I enjoyed all of the curry dishes and the cheese naan bread was my favorite!! The restaurant did not have delivery service set up yet but they were willing to drop It off at my work place! I have been updating this restaurant throughout the years with up and down reviews. Well now it is definitely up! Currently they have suspended the buffet but are offering thali meals. The generous amount of food is amazing. Ours included daal, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, spinach and paneer, rice and naan. Wow! We took at least half of each dish home and are looking forward to another great meal at home. We didn't think of it ahead of time but you can request for your food to be mild plus, medium and hotter. We will ask for either mild plus or medium next time but the other spices were so good it was fine as just mild. Service was to our liking. Very friendly and engaging. So glad to once again have Nepali/Indian food in Greeley. The new owners have been there for a while but we just hadn't re-tried it. So glad we did.

Friendly staff, nice clean restaurant with authentic seeming ambiance. Food is tasty but menu is limited, they always have to tell me things aren't really on the menu. Also food is a little pricey for not so much food.

The food and service was excellent. We ordered: Vegetable Samosas, Meat Samosas, Chicken Korma, Saag Paneer, Saag Chole, Paneer Masala, Paneer Naan, Aloo Naan. Everything we ordered was exceptional. We ordered at medium spice which was perfect for us. Highly recommend!

This place was on our list for weeks before visiting. We were able to get by for an evening meal during our visit to Greeley, and it was the best place we ate in the three days we stayed there. The food was spectacular overall. We went for a wide variety among the 4 of us, and there everything was great. They allow for a variety of spice levels. My wife chose mild, and I got mild+, as I was sharing with her. One of my daughters got spicy, and it was a bit much for a full meal, although I would have definitely eaten it in a small portion. I think we would have all got for medium if we went again. The service was great, and our server really spent time talking to us throughout the meal. We have no complaints about anything here and highly recommend it for anyone in the area.
