First time dining here. Food was really good. Big portions. Great staff, friendly, very attentive. I saw a story about this place when working in Athens Ohio and decided to come to Arlington to try it out, it didn't disappoint. I love this place. I will definitely come back to eat here.

The food here is very good !! I hadn't been here in several years but happened to be in the area so ate dinner here. It was just as good as i remembered from years ago. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food and the service was friendly. Hope to return sometime to this little restaurant !!

I’ve been going here for over a year now and they honestly have the best menudo in town ! And trust me I am very picky when it comes to menudo. So glad I discovered this little place. Thank you so much !

Bogotes was a delightful experience! The ambiance of the restaurant strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. I tried the grilled octopus as an appetizer, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, bursting with flavor. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The only reason I'm giving Bogotes four stars instead of five is that the dessert selection felt a bit limited, and the item I chose, while good, didn’t quite match the excellence of the savory dishes. I highly recommend Bogotes for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty meal in a lovely setting. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their offerings!

The BEST Mexican we’ve ever had! Every dish was full of flavor, and fresh. Great service too! What more could you ask for? Run, don’t walk.

I tend to order a lot from here and it had always been very good. However, yesterday the barbacoa was bad! It had a foul smell and taste! I hope they can make sure the meat is good before cooking it and possibly make someone sick.

It’s a good Mexican food place! They also had an all you can eat option *tacos & cheese enchiladas* the price was right & the portion was GOOD! Will be coming back over!

Oh my god. 10/10!!! Small little hole in the wall. We had chilaquiles, menudo and barbacoa and it was soooo good! Definitely going again!

Another one of Arlington's great small family owned restaurants. The food is wonderful. The special is a great deal and you just need to try it. Keep them going.

Great Tex Mex, I recommend the special which is an all you can eat. And great chips and salsa.

The services was great! Chips had some seasoning on them. The salsa was fresh and spicy. The all you can eat deal is awesome. You get two cheese enchiladas with chile con carne sauce on top, two hard shell tacos, a bean and cheese chalupa served with rice and refried beans. Everything had a good flavor. The meat is seasoned well with chunks of bell pepper and tomato. If you would like another plate you just ask. I only requested two more tacos. I was STUFFED. For the price it's well worth it! The restaurant is small but if you get there early it's not bad. I would like to come back to try their breakfast. They also have a drive thru.

They bring me a special Salsa that is Mas Picante like I prefer. The service is always friendly. Me Encanta la comida aqui!

Came down from Oklahoma & looked up "Mexican breakfast". This was the first place that popped up so we decided to give it a go. Did not disappoint...Great food, great service!

Neat local place with tons of charm, they have a very good all-you-can-eat lunch. Chips are tasty and salsa tastes homemade, definitely spicy! Come early, seating is limited inside!

Fresh corn gorditas and salsa. Good flavor. Guisada not special, no heat or gravy. Huevos ala mexicana standard. Beans and potatoes good but lacking spice. Friendly, attentive staff. Floor tile needs repair.

Service was good. Food was pretty good not impressed with the tortillas though. Menu has lots of options and good prices.

Same as previous reviews, still excellent & favorite go-to for Mexican/Tex-Mex! Just finally adding a pic of my fave meal there - the full order of beef-beans-cheese nachos with jalapenos & guacamole. HIGHLY recommend Bigotes - open lunch hours Sunday-Thursday, supper hours added Friday & Saturday

The service was very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. When you come in the greeter tells you to sit where you want. I picked at boot. Once the server came over and realized we were waiting for two more guests, she suggested we might want to move to a table. Which we did. It was way roomier.

They are very consistent with there food quality here. It's not a fancy place but I always look forward to visiting when I'm in Arlington. I especially go for the Menudo. Their chips, salsa and guacamole are always fresh. I highly recommend visiting if you enjoy good down home cooking!

So good! Anytime we are near that side of town we try to stop in for breakfast. We get something different every time and we are always happy with the food, service, and price. Authentic & feels like you're eating at someone's home. 10 out of 10!

So get this ... this is my second time here eating and they have a all you can eat special. 2 cheese enchiladas 2 tacos 1 tostada with rice and beans for 15.99. Last time and this time I asked if I could please just have all tacos and no rice beans enchiladas or tostada. I got my 1st plate of 7 beef tacos and I recorded 6 more. The Owner comes out and says he can't give me 6 more tacos even though it's all you can eat. He said because I changed it up, but he will give me 2 more. I told him forget it and I'll leave. You should have told me this BEFORE I got the 1st plate and ate them. DON'T EVER eat at this place if you think it's all you can eat!!! Total BS

What a neat little restaurant. The ladies who waited on us were wonderful. The food was good and portions were large. Tacos were good.

1st time here Not bad. Service was great!!! Food was good I had breakfast at 3. Companion had the all you can eat,,, looked and tasted good Chips provided. Salsa good not to hot Need to come back a few more times and try different stuff !!!

Not as good as it was years ago. The place is the same small very run down. No money ever spent on the dining room. That is what I expected that is not the issue. The issue is the food taste or lack of taste. The Mexican food did not have any flavor. Starting with the chips and salsa and iced tea no flavor. Tea looked good taste like water. We had the taco, enchiladas beans and rice. Had to add salt for some taste. We ordered tamales but we did not get them . The server said they did not have tamales but it in on the menu. We got a extra enchilada. Asked for cheese enchiladas but got hamburger. Nothing had flavor they need to add seasoning maybe that would help. We will not be going back just not happy with the food or service.

One of my favorites in Arlington. The breakfast gorditas are worth the trip! Only complaint is the salsa is mid at best. Service is always fast and friendly!

My family and I have been coming here for years. They have within the last year or two management has changed and so has the food. We used to be able to come and order our food perfectly and now they don't understand what we ask for at all. I asked for enchiladas with just cheese and i got tacos with no lettuce extra cheese. We have been disappointed the past few times here and are at the point of removing this from our list of Arlington top food places. They did update the inside to make it look nice but that's probably the only nice thing I can say about this place. Don't bother with this place anymore.

Food reminded me of Panchos... Mediocre food at best. Service was good. Individual tacos are $3+ ea. Had a barbacoa ( NOT GOOD ) and a lengua taco.

I came here after church on Sunday and it was okay. Nothing to brag about but I will warn you that for some reason the tab ran up on us. Probably because there are no fountain drinks. I tend to get apprehensive when I eat at a place that has no fountain drinks. They are relatively inexpensive to obtain the contract and the mark up the restaurant puts on is good money. Just makes me wonder if they lack on that and wanna charge me a la carte for all drinks it's like a salty taste in my mouth. The enchiladas I ordered were bland and to be honest my girlfriends chicken enchiladas had too much sour cream but she said it was okay. I don't think I will return here for the reasons of this place needs a remodel, fresher food, fountain drinks, and upgrades to the dinner ware.

I did take out at the window , I got a dz tamales I asked for them frozen so I can take home to have for later , I ordered lunch Chile Relleno , lunch special with was 3 enchiladas,3tacos rice and beans and a guacamole salad. Wow can I say a lot of food. We will be eating it for dinner . Everything was really good I loved the flavor and serving size . One good thing I liked a lot is most restaurants u have to pay for chips and salsa to go but her we got it for free that was nice and really good fresh salsa and fresh chips . We also ordered drinks pineapple drink made in house yum ! And the Horchata drink was just as yummy . The service was wonderful as well very friendly people and helpful as this was my first time there . Definitely check this place out for sure a dive restaurant you need to visit . My tummy is happy time for a nap .

I'm from California and wanted to try some Texas Mexican food. Bigotes is so delicious! I got their Mexican dinner and agua de pina. The tamales are so so good and the enchilada was bomb The agua de pina was my favorite part!! So tasty

They not only have the BEST food around but the owner Jerry and his team are amazing people. We love love love eating there...

Since college, Bigotes has been my tried and true Mexican restaurant of choice. I'll be frankly honest, I've never stayed off the menu to explore their other options as my go-to each and every time is their AYCE taco platter. This plate is all that is good in the world and the best part; you can eat to your hearts content. The plates always come out fresh and piping hot and are perfectly paired with the best chips and salsa you'll find anywhere. This is possibly one of the best kept secrets in all of North Texas and I'm so glad they've continued to truck along all these years!

Very good service and food was great! We had never been here and my mother and I tried it and loved it!

In town for an extended work trip and have been here 4x per week for a month, for breakfast. Small, mom&pop owned location that has been here for yearrrrs. If you want fancy, exciting, sexy...this is not your place. If you want consistent, warm, friendly and reliable, this IS YOUR place. Service is good, Migas are awesome and they'll remember you if you become a regular. Locally owned small businesses depend on repeat biz and I'm glad they're here.

Currently under new management. The food has improved remarkably. The dining area is bright and clean. The service is very good. Can't beat their prices. Mexican Dinner, Tamales, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Con Huevo Plate,Salsa and Chips,Guacamole Salad, Chili Con Queso.

Everything was so good. Love there tacos, rice and beans! I'm very picky with my food chives so that means a lot coming from me.

I was in the area for a conference and some friends and I were on the hunt for a lunch spot. Yelp to the rescue! This hole in the wall was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is small and has random decorations/merchandise all around, but the food was great and we were in and out in a fair amount of time. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

I would recommend this place. It is a bit run down, but the food is good. The chips and salsa were also good.

Went here for lunch on a Friday. There was decent amount of people for the time. I thought the lady was very nice. She got our drinks and explained the all you can eat. They bring you plate and after you eat it they'll bring you more so you don't get too much and waste the food. So it's like 2nds not like a buffet. I got the all you can eat beef enchilada plate. It came with rice and beans and shell tacos. I was full off one plate so I didn't even need 2nds. I would definitely go back, food was cheap and no issues just didn't think it was 5 star food.

My husband and I frequent this restaurant and our favorite thing to order are the pancakes! Literally the best pancakes ever. So soft and fluffy

I've been coming to Bigotes for more than 30 years and they have always been my go-to restaurant when I want real comfort food. It's always fresh and outstanding everytime.

Hole in the wall with some of the best Mexican food in town. Small place with good food and extremely reasonably priced meals. I lovve the all can can eat. 2 cheese enchiladas 2 beef taco 1 chalupa for 7.35 weekdays and 8.35 Friday at 3p thur Sunday. How it works is ya oder abd eat. When yA hungry for more ya can ask for another portion of what ya want or whole plate again. The Tacos are absolutely some of the best tacos that I have ever had. The Staff is absolutely fabulous and so frIendly. English speaking friendly and very attentive awesome people. Happy atmosphere. Cindy is pure awesome. Will def be back.

AMAZING hole in the wall authentic Mexican food! I came here with about 12 people from work and I was nervous, hoping it would not be your typical Tex-mex place considering I was in the mood for some real Mexican food. I must say, it's pretty legit! I felt like I was eating my moms cooking. A heads up, this place IS very small. We couldn't all sit together. 4 out of the 12 had to sit separate because there was simply not enough room. We did have to ask for menus since no one had been there before. So I'm assuming they must have a lot of regulars. The waitress was super friendly, everyone in the restaurant said hello to us. Towards the end we also had one of the ladies come ask us how I experience was and handed out their business cards to every single one of us. The salsa was okay. I wasn't a big fan but that's just because I like my salsa to be a bit more on the spicy side. The salsa tasted like they put too many tomatoes in it. I was going to order just one enchilada with two sides; rice & beans. (The sides are to be ordered separate.) The waitress informed me of their lunch special which had three enchiladas, three hard shell beef tacos, rice & beans for 7.10!!! She suggested I order that because it would be more food and it's a great special. So I did. It was delicious!!! The cheese enchiladas were cooked to perfection! The beans and rice were flavorful and didn't taste like they were leftovers from the previous day. All the food came out in a timely manner, it was hot and fresh. Even when I asked for jalapeños she went to grab them immediately. Prices are very very reasonable. Portions are pretty big as well. I was also surprised at how much food everyone had on their plates. Fun fact: When I went up to pay, the lady informed me that they have been around for about 30 years! I will be stopping here again!

You know a place is a gem when its been flourishing in the worst part of town since the 1980's. My dad and i discovered this place when we first moved to Texas and it was instantly a family favorite. The owner- Frank greets us by name and they still have one of the two original waitresses from my first visit. Weekend menudo and barbacoa are unparalleled in Arlington- I just wish they still made homemade tortillas like they did back in the day. A few tips for you- 1.The sweet tea and lemonade is amazing- both are homemade and those are the only drinks you get free refills on- the sodas are in bottles or cans. (woohoo for Coca Mexicana!) 2. Ask for Salsa Ranchera if you want something spicier than the table salsa. 3. The lunch special is perfect for those days where you are famished- 2 cheese enchiladas, 2 crunchy beef tacos, 1 tostada, rice and beans. you don't have to finish your plate to get refills as long as you ate what you order (example you ate the tacos but not the enchiladas and you want more tacos they are happy to oblige- even better if you tell them up front you can sub any of the items for ones you don't want.
