Lau Sum Kee Noodle

Really good tasty noodles. Popular. Pleasantly surprised. We walked by at 11.30am and there was a queue of people waiting outside the restuarant. When we walked back later at 12.30pm, it was busy, but we were able to get some seats. Share tables. Restuarant is very clean for a casual eatery. Price is reasonable. The place is busy and there is people queuing outside. There is no ticket system for queuing, just have to wait in line. We paid HKD116 for 2 bowls of noodles, vegetables and a bottle of coke

Great place to try noodles and the servers are super nice and friendly. Portion size is also huge here. I got Stirred Noodles with Shrimp Roe and Brisket and Tendon which tasted great. I also got a Choysum in Prayer Sauce.

Very delicious shrimp wonton, also very delicious pickled radish. The noodles with the shrimp powder is very special and very good.

Great simple Shrimp wonton noodles. You can tell from the elasticity of the noodles that they were made from old fashioned bamboo kneeding. Only downside is the menu is all in 中文！ Top tipp for non chinese speakers, Just ask for "yat gor wantan meen" and you should be good 👍!

How good can wonton noodle be? Very good apparently Hand crafted noodles with nice bite. No chemical after taste, found too often in egg noodles. Clear soup, with gentle aroma of the grilled flounder. Beautiful wonton Exquisite water dumpling. Had to order 4 extra bowls of water dumpling. Will definitely come back on next Hong Kong trip.

It's a pretty average bowl of wontons. The egg noodles were better than the wontons lol

Not bad. The wonton noodle soup was fine. The noodles had a nice chewy texture to them. The wontons themselves were just ok, and the broth was a bit bland. 3/5. The fish cake noodle soup was alright. The stand out of the dish were the fish cakes, while the rice noodles were fine, and the broth was also fairly bland. 3/5.

Don’t expect it to be instagrammable. It’s a tiny shop— no more than 6 tables. Ordered the shrimp roe noodles with dumplings and beef tendon with brisket. So good!
