Howard is so fortunate to have a world class community complex! We attended the annual Labor Day bash which was spectacular. The crowd was enormous, the free music (dialing pianos) was fantastic, the food trucks were organized kept super busy. The beer garden was amazing with a wide selection of local tap beer as well as wine and sodas. The roller rink was busy and it looked super fun. Plenty of restrooms and the place was uber clean. Highly recommended attended Howard Commons every chance you get!!!

Splash pad. Fun for the kids not so much for adults. It’s in the sun no shade. The bench backs are not ergonomically correct they cut into your back on the tops. Whoever designed them is stupid. Use plenty of sunscreen. Looks to be very under utilized and a waste of money good thing I’m not a resident paying those taxes

Really great place for the city. A concert venue in the summer and a nice ice rink in the winter. There are condos or apartments surrounding it. Very well kept facility. Seems very safe. They do rent ice skates and some safety gear for the rink. Very reasonable prices. It can get quite crowded though. In the summer you can roller blade on the rink. For the adults a beautiful outdoor lounge is open with a bar serving drinks.

This place is unbelievably nice. Went to a wedding here and it has everything you need. Plenty of space, beer garden, fair prices, clean restroom, area to go for a walk, cover for bad weather. Unless the rental price becomes ridiculous, this place would be great for a banquet, reception, etc

Brought our grandsons and they had a blast on the splash pad. (Ages 2 and 3). The only issue is there are parts that are very slippery. One of my grandsons fell and 3 other younger children fell using the splash pad. None of these children were running. I dont know if there is a build up of sunscreen or a mineral deposit on the concrete can be cleaned off?

We had a great evening at Howard Commons with friends. 3 Miles Away was the entertainment. Enjoyable music, talented musicians with great voices and good beer choices. Music was loud enough to get you singing and moving but not too loud that you couldn’t visit with people around you. Such wonderful entertainment. Please have 3 Miles Away come back for more enjoyment. We will watch your schedule for their return.

Our next stop of the evening was the BeirGloos at Howard Commons! This beer garden is very cute with fireplaces, an ice skating rink, and of course beer, wine, and snacks. Our BeirGloo was so cozy and fully stocked with a heater, blankets, and board games. Hayden and I grabbed a drink and played several rounds of heads up–it was so much fun! Even if you can’t visit the Igloos, the beer garden seems to have year round fun. In the warmer months, they sub out the ice rink for a roller rink and even have a splash pad for kids!

We love Howard Commons....from ice skating in winter to concerts in Biergarten. The Biergarten has reasonable prices on their beverages and generous pours. You keep the glass glass. When you return for refill, the cost dropdropsadded bonus. Music on the patio is great on a summer evening! And food trucks nearby too! So much fun in one place close to home!
