Now I've only been once, and I may have just had an off experience, but despite a couple of impressive features, I'd be hard-pressed to return.
First, the positive: the layout is excellent, with a number of fairly private booths that would be perfect for an extended work or study session (or just an intimate conversation). Also, not only do they have kombucha on tap, but they actually have four varieties of it! Impressive.
However two problems: first, while $3.50 for a double-shot americano isn't bad, per se, it's definitely up there, in a price range that typically correlates with a special cup of coffee, while this was anything but. It was drinkable enough, but quite weak and one-note flavor-wise (note: I got it in a 12-oz to-go cup, whereas their stay-in cups are quite a bit smaller, and this may have been part of the issue... btw, I never understand it when when to-go and stay-in cups are are of very different volumes for the same order size). Regardless, the bigger problem, at least on this day, was that the thermostat was set at an uncomfortably chilly 68 degrees, quite a bit below the typical 72-74 you find in most places (my watch has a thermometer, and I geek out on measuring such things...).
