I went to the restaurant Franklis with my husband. We both enjoyed the food from the starter to the dessert. After each course, there was a pleasant aftertaste in the mouth, I didn’t even want to take a sip of my drink so as not to spoil it. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was excellent.

Lovely fruit and vegetables, and a huge array of other kitchen staples, including meats and cheeses towards the back. As others have mentioned, it’s a touch on the pricey side though. I’ve been mocked many times for contemplating buying some rather expensive asparagus here. I still would rather support a lovely local shop like this over the huge supermarkets any day.

A pricey (c'mon it's Lordship Lane) but wonderful shop of organic and local treats. Great coffees and tea are on offer as well as a delightful treat I found, seaweed butter. There's also a cart outside which roasts chicken and you can buy a tasty little treat and sit on their wee terrace to enjoy it.

Nice shop but prices seem crazy £3 for a cucumber... when other organic shops sell it for £1. If the owners feel this is warranted then a bit more info should be given as to why the produce is so pricey

I bought a £3 TooGoodToGo bag of groceries (apparently worth £9) and I am very bewildered and disappointed! Inside was a rotten cucumber, a rotten leek, some yellowish beans, a couple of satsumas, an apple and a couple of gem lettuce that was also going off! I complained and the manager called back, telling me the rot was only a corner of the cucumber.....etc and that the bag of groceries was actually worth £12! . He also offered a refund. I would have got the same vegetables in perfect conditions from other grocery shops/ supermarkets for less than £3!

Nice little green grocers and deli mashed up with a coffee shop. Some really interesting foods and wines here from around the world. Will habe to try the chicken from the roasting van parked on the terrace.next time.

if you want very expensive slightly extravegant store cupboard stuff like expensive tinned tomatoes or rose harrisa this is your place, the fruit and veg is hit and miss in my opinion. nice coffee.
