Kenosha Public Market

Have not been here in a couple years. More like a craft fair than a farmer's market. Everything is too expensive. Oh you can say that it's fresh vegetables, etc. I visit as many markets as possible each week in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin and prices for the same items are generally more expensive. This was once one of my favorites.

There weren't very many vendors; to be fair, though, it was a super hot day when I went. I had read that you could use EBT, but I couldn't figure out how to use it or how to get it matched. I'll definitely go back on a day that isn't so hot and see if I can figure out using EBT. Most vendors accepted debit/credit cards and cash.

Kenosha has two outdoor markets near the downtown area of the city. The Kenosha Public Market features food vendors, produce, products like honey, mushrooms, crafts, and CBD as well as doggie treats for Fido. It’s well organized and worth the ride down to the lake.

Tons of vendors and lots of food and drink options. Great views or the harbor. Had a blast spending a couple of hours here last Saturday. Grabbed some snacks and some great coffee from vendors.

Smallish market but a variety of vendors. Good place to find the seasonal produce that I didn't want to get in a grocery store

This is a great market with lots of vendors with a variety of things. Plus some food trucks too.

Market at Kemper center. Lots of variety and great vendors. All the food items look amazing. Artesian breads, gourmet cheeses, seasonal gifts and specialty items. Get it all here.

I attended this in April, so it's at the indoor Kemper Center. The location changes sometime in May. The area outside the Kemper Center is beautiful, a park setting facing Lake Michigan. See pics. You can walk your calories off. Selections include homemade dried pasta, homemade salsa, ready to eat Arepas, home made candied bacon, elderberry drinks. See pics.
