The setting was uniquely old school. The golden rotisserie chicken was absolutely excellent — juicy, tender meat with flavorful mushroom stuffing and a roasted garlic touch that elevated the dish 🧄🍗. We got a bit too excited and over-ordered, so had to pack some leftovers (nothing goes to waste 😅). Also tried the spicy chicken — same golden chicken but with a tasty spicy sauce drizzle — and the chicken pancake, both delicious. The kimchi was decent, though nothing special. Overall, a fantastic and satisfying meal!

This place completely blew me away. The vibe inside was fun and laid-back, and I loved the small details like the scissors at the table, which made sharing the chicken a breeze. Service was friendly and quick without ever feeling rushed. If you’re looking for something beyond the usual fried chicken, this spot delivers an experience that sticks with you. Unique and delicious roast chicken with mushroom stuffing. Roasted in garlic and you can choose a sauce as well. Good portion size. Even my local friend said she has not seen chicken done in this way before in Seoul and enjoyed it.

This place is near our accommodation. So we decided to eat at Obang Tongdak. What we ordered: 📍Obong set 5⭐ - this set consists of their famous chicken and a lot of side dishes such as kimchi, garlic rice, kimchi cucumber, eggs and alot🤣 We were only 2pax and this order is bit for us. We should've ordered just the chicken but nonetheless we really enjoyed our meal. They also have a free beer promo for Naver review. However, I'm having difficulty signing up my naver account🙄. Suggestion: they have an aircondition area upstairs. Choose that option because there are some mosquito downstairs especially during the night.

This is a rather not well know to tourist but I saw this place being featured in a YouTube video once and had to give it a try. The roast chicken here was sooo good. It was roasted well and the chicken still retained all the moisture. Even the breast meat was juicy. The chicken was filled with a mushroom filling and along with the roasted garlic, it was a nice accompaniment to the chicken itself. Another must order at this place is the crispy chicken pancake. This was literally fried chicken and this was even nicer than the roast chicken. Do give it a try.

Delicious chicken, super moist and flavorful, 3 amazingly tasty contrasting dips for the meat. Free roasted barley tea. Bowl of noodles with seaweed and tofu went very nicely too. Highly recommended!

First time here. It’s not far from line 2 train station. The chicken is a must try if you’re in Seoul. It is really unique as it is stuffed served with different sauce. There are sets that you can order to try as well so you could have a complete meal.
