I love this place where I can pick my own Collard Greens. My family and friends love these greens that I prepare for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I pick enough to have for both holidays. We had a wonderful time at the farm. The place was beautiful and the staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. Everything about the experience was great. The only thing I wanted to mention was about one of the calves. He/she seemed a little sad and lethargic, and I even noticed some tears in the eyes. I’m not sure if it was due to being alone without other calves to interact with, the weather, or maybe a health concern, but I thought it was worth mentioning so it can be checked on. I also know it’s not always easy, but it might help if there were at least two similar animals in each area so they have some company. I noticed the donkey kept going in circles too, which made me a bit concerned. Just sharing this as someone who really loves animals and hopes they’re happy as well as cared for. Other than that, it was a really lovely visit and I’d definitely recommend the farm!

Friendly staff, petting zoo for kids with a little playground, fresh produce is excellent. A+++

Love this place . Our first trip and now we are hooked . Vegetables are beautiful and excellent flavor . Prices were very reasonable.

Ive driven by Wenninghoff a million times and finally decided to stop by. Very friendly employee (cant remember her name). She was very helpful. They sell product for other local businesses which is awesome! The Salsa is to die for ❤ Even though its a drive for me, I'll definitely be back!!

I went today specifically to get collard greens. They are "you pick" so I got exactly what I wanted. Bonus some of our favorite meats were at end of season prices, so I did a little stocking up.

I am so grateful to eat produce straight from the farm. It is a privilege to have it so close while living in the city. The people are so friendly. Don't forget to bring your egg cartons for them as they recycle and practice sustainability.

We finally stopped in at Wenninghoff's after two years of driving by and saying, "We should go there sometime." I'm glad we did! The market is packed with locally made and grown products. We picked up some sandwich pickles, local honey, and a massive seedless watermelon. Prices on some items were a little higher than expected, but given they're local, I didn't mind paying a bit extra--it feels good to support nearby farmers and makers. That said, there are a few things I'd probably skip. One thing to note: they add a $1 fee for card transactions, so if you want to avoid that, bring cash!

We love wenninghoffs! We can always get an amazing assortment of locally grown food here and we recently signed up for the weekly food pickup! We always get something special like peaches or fresh tomatoes. For only $15 a week (paid in a lump sum at the beginning of the summer) it's so worth it. We always have something local to have with dinner!

I loved it more than I thought I would! This place is bigger than I expected. They had every type of produce, jarred goods, snack, herbs, ciders, and treats you could imagine! All the produce looked amazing and was good quality. The prices are exceptional. The staff was very friendly and provided plastic sacks if you didn't bring your own. I loved the large outside with flowers and the garden. Don't forget the cute petting zoo outside!!

Always nice produce available at this privately owned farmstand. The addition of a petting zoo and pick your own flower field provides a lot of entertainment for children and family alike while shopping. Great local farm/market. Lots of grown-right-there produce, a cut-it-yourself herb garden, little petting zoo, and a wide selection of food products from small local businesses. Nice wall of pickled products too! The parking lot was a little confusing as it has been rearranged for something new that will be added soon! Paying with cash is best as there is a $1 fee for credit cards.

What a great spot to shop for local produce, small batch jams and raw honey, and tons of other fun treats and surprises. We were pleasantly surprised to discover such a cute kids' space right outside the main shopping barn. This makes shopping from local farms SO much easier and so much more fun for the whole family.

Amy's Gold corn is out of this world! They also trade crops with other small farms, really increases the variety. Enjoy!

Fabulous produce. Our cantaloupe was the best I've ever had in my life. Full of flavor, sweet and juicy.

I didn't go there recently but I called. I had a question of one of the plants that I bought earlier. Amy was very helpful telling me what to do with it. They have great plants and will help you decide what works for you. their help is very knowledgeable.

What a cool farmer's market! Upon arrival we saw never ending acres of gardening. Then when we pulled in we saw goats! I don't know what it is about goats, but, they just make me happy when they're around. Inside there were several selections of vegetables, and homemade canned goods. There was also some honey, dairy and meat. Outside is a variety of fresh herbs you cut yourself. We got a variety of vegetables plus some pickles. So far the vegetables have been fantastic. The hubs LOVES the pickles, but, they are a little too spicy for my taste. Thinking next time we go I want to try the dill pickles instead. I'm really excited to go and visit again. Just as a caveat, they do not have as many vegetables as you might see on their site or in a typical farmers market. Happy eating Yelpers!

I have shopped at Wenninghoff's a number of times for produce--visiting the big painted building always satisfied with my "fresh from the garden" produce. Today I ventured out back to the greenhouse area and was amazed at the plant selection, and personal assistance finding a trailing vine geranium that I have been unable to find at two other nurseries in the area. If you only visit Wenninghoffs for summer produce or in the fall for a show stopper gourd, learn from my adventure and head out to the herbs, perennials, and plant area. It is pretty amazing and the help is awesome!

Really neat little local market, which in addition to selling their own abundant vegetables also includes many local options you'd find at the farmers market or NE Food Coop. Range West grass fed beef, Clear Creek Organic Farms soy-free pork, grass-fed beef and butter, Orchard Hill Creamery certified naturally grown grass fed milk, yogurt and cheeses. Not to mention a variety of canned products: honey, picked vegetables, jams and more from Big Mama's, Sweet Heat, All About Bees, and Wenninghoff's own. Eggs from Salistean Processing (which I think is Can Fleet Meats?) Produce prices don't really seem more expensive than anywhere else with this type of quality either. We'll definitely be back. Note: bring cash if you can.

I've always seen Wenninghoff's produce sold inside HyVee Peony Park, but I never made it out to the farm until this year. I'm so glad I did! There is a lot of farm fresh produce available! Yes, they had pumpkins and squash, but they also had jams, jellies, pasta, and sauces. They had eggplant and asparagus and so much more! They had a fresh herb garden where you can pick and bag your own herbs. I also loved visiting the chickens and goats! They also had some really crafty skeletons made out of cut up plastic milk jugs for sale. Really cool! I will definitely come back at different times in the year to see even more! I am a fan!

This place is great. Seems like most people know them for the pumpkin patch in the fall, but they have the barn open selling fresh produce and local products starting around June 1 each year. Also in the spring they sell bedding plants and other plants in their greenhouses. They also have a CSA where you pay an amount up front which they use to grow the vegetables, and give you a bag of fresh product one a week for 18 weeks. It breaks down to a little more than $12 a week and is well worth the price. Although you can buy some of their stuff at Hyvee, it's definitely fresher here. The prices are fair, some cheaper than the grocery store and some more, but it all goes to the local community here. It's a little out of the way for most people, but it's well worth the drive if you love fresh food.

Missing this place right now! I go here a lot during the summer months to pick up different seasonal produce. I love grabbing fresh corn, potatoes, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, green beans or watermelon for a nice summer meal at home. They also sell a variety of local meats, cheeses, eggs, pasta, honey and other sauces. It's like going to the farmer's market, but without the crowds, which I personally really like. My two year old daughter also loves going with me. She has fun checking out all the vegetables and we enjoy feeding the goats. It's all around such a great place!

To quote a classic McSweeney's essay, it's decorative gourd season, motherfuckers! At the risk of sounding like the most basic of bitches, I love fall because I can drag my boyfriend to pumpkin patches and farmers' markets and all that other stuff that probably makes him want to abandon me in a corn maze. As far as produce goes, you can forgo the grocery store in favor of Wenninghoff's squashes, tomatoes, peppers, and other autumnal produce. A garden-fresh tomato is to a real boob what a grocery store tomato is to a fake one, you know? This go around we picked up pumpkins, pears, hot peppers, cherry cider, Canadian bacon, and jerky. The jerky didn't even survive the car ride home. I'll be back to buy bison, grassfed butter, and eggs. It may be a bit longer of a drive than the grocery store, but it's worth it to me!

For this place being only 10 minutes from our home, I cannot believe it has taken me so long to get here! One of the perks of this place is the large produce market. You don't always get the best prices, but it is nice that the items are local. I did ask them where they got their apples (since I didn't see an orchard) and they told me they were sourced from Fontanelle Orchard. An entrance fee of $6 (during the week) gives you access to a great play area for kids complete with a corn maze, obstacle course, slide made out of an old combine, an old school bus and so much more. They offer hay rack rides and have a small animal area with donkeys, chickens, cows, bunnies and more. The location itself is surrounded by some major city streets so while you feel in some ways like you are at a farm there is still traffic noise in the background and while on the hayrack ride you are backing up to a Celebrity Homes neighborhood. I hear their peaches in the summer are great so we will be back!

We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Wenninghoff Farm! *Singsongvoice* I came here with my best friend when she came to visit and AUTOMATICALLY LOVED IT! Fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, and to top it all off? THE BEST FRICKEN CHOCOLATE MILK I HAVE EVER TASTED! I mean sersiously, when we get stationed somewhere else will have DREAMS about this chocolate milk. This is the type of place you think of when you think of a farm (said this city girl) You can pick your own fresh herbs! They have fresh eggs! Oh and they have meat too! This place is all in all a great place to pick up local goods. Its a shame they aren't open all year! (Yes, I know, what they heck will they sell during winter besides perennials) Tip my hat off to you Wenninghoff Farm because you just made yourself another loyal customer for as long as you guys are open (and for as long as we are in Nebraska)! -

My best friend took me here because I told her I wanted to visit a farmer's market type of shindig. We got raspberry cider, corn, honey, green beans, and zucchinis. I was really intrigued with all the goodies they sell and got distracted. They sell an assortment of jams, honey, salsa, and the like. They also sell frozen pies, milk, cider, and etc. The corn and zucchinis were on point. The honey was delicious as well. My mom loved it.

John lives really really close by to Wenninghoff's farms and we have never stopped here. I needed some tomatoes and really didn't want to make a huge ride to the store for it. We decided to stop by and were really surprised. Inside it's like an open market where they have a bunch of what they carry at the regular farmers market on Saturdays and Sundays downtown and at Village point. They have the nice popcorn, the nice jams and jellies, the nice enchiladas from South Omaha, and a large variety of produce. Everything looks really fresh and prices are not bad. If you are ever needing anything that you normally get at the farmers market on a weekend and you can't make it, make sure to come to Wenninghoff's Farms. They will likely have it here! I've heard that in fall they do hay rack rides. And they have animals to pet. It is also good to mention that if the produce looks a little bumped or a little funky it'll usually be less expensive.
