VAPA Center

We were just there for an event and had an incredible time. All the artwork everywhere was so inspiring. I'd love to come on a day when they have the open galleries where we can meet the artists. Beautiful building! Super cool place for artists to connect and build community. Even have a community room for events. I can't wait to go back!

Visited this location for an exhibit (seeing Auschwitz). They have a huge parking lot with free parking. They are located right in front of Charlotte Ballet and are off college st. Huge center. I believe they use this location for many other exhibits and art gallery. All the employees were super nice and helpful. The inside was very clean and welcoming. The exhibit was easy to navigate and super informative and interesting. I would recommend the exhibit, and this location is a great place to host events.

My family and I attended a painting event here last weekend. Amazing people, great artwork and once again amazing people. I had a wonderful time painting with my family and checking out all of the cool artwork. I'd give 10 stars if I could

As an event producer, finding a venue with flexible space and a creative vibe is everything. I love everything the VAPA Center has to offer. I recently used the center to manage one day of a 3-day festival and I used some of the artists from the space to be part of the production. The Executive Director, Arthur Rogers is great to work with, and will do whatever it takes to get the space set up the way you desire.

The VAPA CENTER in Uptown Charlotte is a hub for artists, actors and everything else creative. The NineEighteenNine gallery introduces local, regional and international artwork to excite a variety of artistic themes and genres.

The event I attended at VAPA Center was great. It was easy to find. The entrance to the parking lot could be better marked. Once I found the actual new entrance, finding a parking space was easy.

Such a wonderful place of the arts! Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. I would love to be a regular of the offerings they have available.

Don't understand the one-star review as this arts venue houses many different theater spaces, art galleries and studios, music studios, and arts organizations. Charlotte is so lucky to have this visual and performing arts center. Stop by on the first Saturday of the month ~ from noon to 8 ~ to tour the studios, enjoy the fabulous and varied arts on display, and meet the artists. Parking is free and abundant. Enter from North College Street. More than 300 artists have found a home for their inspiration at VAPA, plus the Charlotte Comedy Theater (where you'll find hilarious improv and sketch comedy), The Light Factory, Charlotte's Off-Broadway Theater, and more. This place is awesome. I came for the first time today to bring my mother to an art class and was surprised to find out there are quite a few galleries and artists studios here. It's located in uptown/dow town Charlotte. The GPS will take you straight to it. There is plenty of free parking. 100% recommended.

The art work is Awesome Mini of the artist a very Many of the artists a very friendly and love talking to you about their art Is always something new to see seems like every time I go My great grands are there often with their grandma And is always showing me something new If you get a chance please come back And see What great things they're doing
