The food was good, though nothing groundbreaking, pretty decent, middle of road burger/ philly joint

I ordered a double because I was starving but had no idea it was going to be real patties and that big and delicious!! Keep up the great quality!

My husband and i think they make the best burgers in Abilene! Juicy and always fresh. Overheard they do not freeze their meat, and i would believe that. The fries are amazing as well! And the sweet tea is like southern tea - lots of sugar, just like sweet tea should be made! Note about the burgers though - they are so juicy i would not suggest getting them to go where you are going to go too far because the burger will soak your bun. Not a complaint, just a heads up for those who want to get it to go.

I ordered the hatch green chili cheeseburger with fries and the burger was juicy and delicious! Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is drive-through does take a while. I waited like 10 to 15 minutes to get order.

This place is the best place to get a good burger i will recommend the triple cheese bacon burger that is all i get there its so good and always fresh. I honestly haven't been anywhere else that beats this place. The owners are very sweet people I like them alot super friendly..

Starting off: my review is based off of my experience vs review hype. Staff is friendly. Using heavy scented/ concentrated cleaning products near anybody eating is extremely off putting. The smell of whatever she was wiping the table off with over powered everything else and about caused a headache. Water that stuff down!! Food: Philly Expectation based on reviews and word of mouth: AMAZING! Reality: Go get the one at Subway. Honestly. Steak was dry. And very lacking in steak, especially for that price. Anybody who's been anywhere near Philadelphia wouldn't even give this 1 star. Best Philly around? Doubtful, surely there's a place out here far superior. No way. I only ate half. The fries were great though. Interior: got a table before the food was ready but this place needs to relocate somewhere bigger. Should've just got to go and ate in the car. The burgers they brought out looked good. But in my personal opinion after traveling to over 6000 locations across the United States, don't listen to the other reviews. Avoid the "Philly cheesesteak ". There's NOTHING Philly about it. Seriously just get one at Subway. I was so disappointed in literally in my car in the parking lot writing this review now. I spent $20 on lunch. Will I be back? I want that burger so yes. I'll write another review next visit.

Don't pass on Texas Flaming Grill just because the restaurant looks a little dingy, the food is absolutely amazing! We also love the staff, they're always friendly and professional. If you're looking for a specific recommendation, get the Philly Cheese Steak with fries. I will say, though, we usually pass on drinks, because they always taste off, like the soda machine/nozzles need to be cleaned or something. Also, a note: the service is a little on the slower side, but the food is always hot and fresh and 100% worth the wait. Just know that you'll be waiting 10-20 minutes for the food, even with the drive-thru. I promise the food is absolutely worth it; so much so that I got it as my first meal going home after giving birth.

The women who run this place are so sweet. Very energetic and professional, and get things done asap and with a smile. The club sandwich is massive, delicious, and with added avocado is the chef's kiss. I've also had the Philly and enjoyed it very much.

I absolutely love this business! Charbroiled burgers are hard to find, and TFG nails it. My favorite is the green chile cheese burger. Fries are tasty and the onion rings are amazing!!!! Employees are always friendly...which is so nice.

Idiot moment of the day. I drive up, see the car in front of me driving around the back and follow them. It wasn't until I got to second in line that I realized I drove by the drive thru window without ordering. So I then made the U-Turn of shame to get back in line again. Getting back to the important stuff. The staff were super nice and the food, for being "fast food" was very good. From the club sandwich to onion rings to Philly cheesesteak, all of it was good and a LOT less expensive than food in California.

This place is Amazing! The burgers are delicious and their prices are really good. The place is clean and where they really shine is their service. The folks that own/run this establishment are really nice. You can tell their service is genuine.

The food was good no doubt!!! But it was dirty, the bathroom was nasty and you could smell it out in the dining area! Your shoes stuck to the floor! Hot soapy water with a splash of bleach or pine sol goes a long ways! Not to mention one of the workers with long black hair kept picking her nose at the front cabinet and at the window like goodness.... But the food was good... I would give it a 5 but the nastiness and the loudness of the workers hurt it

Got off work hoping for a fair burger and onion rings. Instead got the greasiest burger I've ever had had in my life and cold onion rings.

I ordered 11 burgers and large fries for work. I called ahead and gave them my order. It was short notice for my order. They had my order ready in about 30 minutes. When I walked in the staff greeted me. It was a relaxed pleasant atmosphere. They packaged the burgers in one box so they wouldn't get crushed and the fries in a bigger box. They had my ketchup napkins salt and pepper in a separate bag ready to go. The employees even helped carry the food to my truck. The burgers and fries were delicious. The food was excellent. If you haven't tried them you're missing out. I will definitely order from them again either at work or when I just want a great tasting burger.

One of the best burgers I've had in a long while! It's a very unassuming place, but the food is so good. I highly recommend the hatch chile burger. The burger was hot and perfectly cooked, and the fries were thick and crispy. The staff is super friendly and the prices are reasonable. I'm just passing through but I will definitely pass on through Abilene again for this burger.

This is exactly what I expect whenever I try a "hole in the wall" burger. Simple ingredients cooked and assembled perfectly and perfectly balanced. Staff was kind and made us feel welcome and that they were excited for us to be there. I had the triple bacon cheeseburger with 3 kids of cheese and my wife had the regular cheeseburger. Delicious! Burgers were juicy, cooked exactly the way requested (one medium and one medium m-well) and just the right amount of messy without being a soggy mess. The building is a little small and has some bumps and bruises in the best possible way. It's the kind of place you walk into and think "this is either going to be really good or really bad" and it would not surprise me if they have a line around the building most days. If we're ever back in Abilene, this is a must. LOVED IT!

Found this local spot on our way through Abilene. Food and service were great. Kids loved the hamburgers and the chicken sandwich was great (and I'm sure the chicken Alfredo would have been amazing too if there weren't out)

Best homemade tasting bacon cheeseburger I've eaten in a long time. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Burger patty was juicy and well seasoned. Wife's club sandwich was very good as well. Tater tots and fries were good. If you're hungry and craving a big juicy burger, this is your place. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Simple building but DAYUM that was a good burger! Best beef patty I've ever had honestly. Whoever they have making their buns rocks too! The menu is quite varied, lots of choices. I saw people eating chicken fettuccine and it looked amazing. You could have fooled me that the beef was cooked open flame, but I looked and it's a flat top.... An obviously well seasoned flat top I might add. I must add- really really nice people here! I pray for their continued success!

Omg!! I was really iffy about eating here but if you want a great burger, onion rings, jalapeño poppers and fries this is the place for you! Great food and prices!

Great little spot in Abilene. Grabbed lunch there while in town for work. I had their green chili cheeseburger and it was honestly the BEST green chili burger I've ever had. My co-workers enjoyed their meals also, and we all really appreciated the hospitality of the staff.

Best Philly cheesesteak in this part of Texas. My parents and I just tried this place. It's amazing. They have crispy and flavorful fries too.

Super nice people and great burgers! It takes longer than McDonalds (everything is cooked to order) but it's well worth the wait! I got the limited time hatch green chile big burger which was great (perfectly spicy)... I'll admit I was already hungry but it was one of the best burgers I've ever had! I was kinda surprised when they asked how I wanted it cooked (Wendy's doesn't give you options) so I asked for medium and it was perfectly pink all the way through! Add a large root beer with Sonic style ice, decent fries, lots of napkins and cancel your afternoon plans... you're gonna need a nap!

This is a very unassuming place, but do not let that stop you from going in. We were stopping in Abilene for the night and saw the excellent reviews. The food was fabulous! I had the gyro with fries and both the gyro and the seasoned fries were delicious. My husband had the patty melt and he was equally impressed. The very friendly ladies who take your order and deliver your meal are super nice and entertaining. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

It was a random day outing with the family and we got hungry. Searched for a place near by us and found this place. Went through the drive thru, got the club sandwich, chili cheese dog and cheese burger with fries. Had to wait like 15 mins for our food but when we finally got it, we were very satisfied with how it looked. We were even more satisfied with the taste of everything. The portions size was good for the price. There was no complaints from anyone and we will be going back to try more food. The ambience was casual cafe type vibe. It was cute.

YUM!! Y'all this place is my favorite in Abilene! There are tons of ok places in this town but why not eat somewhere you'll get great food!? My favorite is the green chili cheese burger with their perfect onion rings! The owners are terrific, friendly and all about taking care of their patrons. The building is kept clean and ready. No true decor which is fine with me. Clean, friendly, delicious my favorite attributes for a Restauraunt .

When my family first saw this restaurant we had moderate hopes. Upon ordering with the help of a friendly cashier/server manning the register I was able to feed myself and my family (3 kids and my spouse) for less than a well know fast food restaurant(i.e. Chick-fil-A). Admittedly dine in seating is sparce but very what you'd expect from a mom and pop shop. The food was out so quickly I could swear they knew what we were going to order before we did. The food was stunning to the point that I neglectfully didn't take a picture and just had to sink in, and was it amazing. To sum it up it was the best burger I've had in this town in the hottest and toastiest minute. The fries were the perfect color, and had the perfect amount of crunch. While eating the cashier/server checked in to ensure everything was fine at just the perfect interval. Considering everything this is truly a hidden gem in this city ; my only negative comment is the fries could have used a bit more salt for my taste, but that's nothing I couldn't fix at the table.

Been several times and never have been dissapointed. 3 cheese bacon burger, fries, and onion rings are my go-to. I know I need to try others but I am always happy with my choice.

Great tx sized burgers and also mouth-watering Philly cheesesteaks fire ...I've been there through lunch and dinner and traffic is not bad I'm in and out of there. Customer service is awesome sweet lady's there

Wonderful experience today at Texas Flaming Grill! Great food and service! I ordered a hamburger and fries - both were fresh, hot, and delicious! My husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak (with bacon and jalapeños) and onion rings. His sandwich was so good - I had to try a bite (or five!) The bread was perfect (warm and toasted), steak was cooked just right, and the addition of bacon and jalapeños gave it just the right amount of kick. Will definitely be coming here again!

Love this place! Wonderful burgers. Owners always there and working. Lots of personal service and always with a smile. I'm a super fan. Rueben's are awesome, gyros are great. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Everything was amazing. We ordered a gyro and a cheeseburger. The French fries were also perfect. They were kind and the restaurant felt clean. I love eating here. $20 for a meal and a kids meal, which seemed a little steep but everything is expensive anymore.

On a road trip on our way to Dallas, definitely worth the stop! Was a little surprised when we pulled up on memorial day not sure what we expected, went inside hatches green chili burgers were excellent, my 2 travel companions said even without the chili the burger would've been perfect... Burger was perfectly seasoned the perfect size and perfectly cooked! Can't go wrong, I had the gyro combination plate did away with the sides and just got a large salad with gyro meat and pita it was wonderful again perfectly seasoned perfect amount salad very fresh and fulfilling so whether you're local or just traveling through as the three of us were I don't think you can go wrong

Not fancy but very clean and staff is very friendly. Food was amazing - cheeseburger was perfectly cooked and so very good. Not overly fast but cooked to order so that is expected. Definitely somewhere you want to try!

I don't get the 4 1/2 stars. Steak and Cheese was meh. Needed way more onions and peppers. Service was good though.

Tried the Flaming Special Salad, gotta say I was impressed. The other half had the spicy chicken sandwich/fries and really liked it. I have never been disappointed eating here. ( with the exception of no coca cola)

The service is very friendly! The food is all made to order which is very nice because you know what you're getting is going to be hot and fresh. That does mean there is a bit of a wait to get your food but it's worth it. It's all well seasoned and has good flavor. The restaurant itself could use a little more upkeep but the food is very good, especially for the price!

We continue to keep coming back!! Best Gyros in town!! Food is always freshly made! I love a simple burger with good flavor! Service is always quick and sadly they know our order which is honestly thoughtful! Check them out if you haven't had a chance!

Great food, excellent customer service. The burgers and onion rings are the best in Abilene. If you're a burger buff, you won't regret any of their yummy selections. Made to order burgers to compliment your tastes... medium rare is my go-to. But the whole menu is great!

I love this place. Large selection. Burgers are great here but the secret to their menu are their wings. Ask for their Buffalo-Ranch wings. Best in town. Easily. The service is good. But be prepared to wait a whole because the food is made to order. And the ambiance is cool. It's a blend of college kids to skilled trade workers and folks in the medical field. And they deliver.

Ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was juicy and tasty. It is a 1/2 lb patty. It came with fries that were crunchy on the outside and soft inside. It was filling and satisfying! Employees and the owner were friendly, welcoming and appreciative of our business.

Texas Flaming Grill had great food! I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, my wife had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, the kids had chicken fettuccine Alfredo, kids cheeseburger, and a kid hotdog. All of the food was good! Their service was great too! What made it even nicer is that we were able to order on their website and and schedule a time when you wanted it to be ready. That worked great for us since we were driving home from our vacation in Arkansas to Midland TX and we wanted to eat something a step up from the normal fast food chains. The only reason I knocked off a star is because it seemed like prices were slightly high. I'd still recommend eating here and I'd probably eat there again myself when we pass through the area again.

Always forget about this place but when I remember to eat here, I am never disappointed. The food is always good and the burgers are 1/2 lb. They do have a 1/4 burger on the kids menu. Burgers are cooked to order and fill you up. The also have other items besides hamburgers, Philly cheese steaks, wraps, hot dogs and more. Give them a try. You won't be sorry. Oh yea, they have a triple meat burger if you're feeling really hungry.

Chicken Philly was good just way tooo creasy left me running as soon as I was done .. Customer Service could have been better over the phone .. I would recommend not ordering close to closing time ..
