THAI - The House of Authentic Ingredients

The atmosphere and ambiance was nice. We came in as a party of 2, and the indoor seating area was kind of small; I can't imagine what it would look like at max capacity. Some of the food that we ordered tasted better than others. The crab cakes were good, however, I would not call them a crab cake. More like a meatball wrapped in a crispy tofu skin, and shredded crab on top. They are the size of a sushi roll. The yellow curry has very simple ingredients but had very good flavor. We also ordered thai sausage, bbq pork, and crispy pork plate (moo dang moo grob) and the crispy pork belly was incredibly dry. The thai sausage was alright and the bbq pork wasn't anything special. I think they should invest in a traditional sticky rice basket, as I thought it was weird bringing out sticky rice wrapped in tin foil. The staff was friendly. I think this place is a little overly hyped up in my opinion. If you're curious about trying this place out, go ahead and try it.

Great vibe and amazing Thai food. The salad is acidic and refreshing, perfect way to cleanse the pallet before the meal. Chicken Pad Thai and Yellow Curry dishes were amazing. The Thai tea was also one of the best ones we have tried around town. The outside seating was lit up once the sun set which made the atmosphere really warm and nice. Our server was also really nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back here.

Let me start off by saying the food here is absolutely delicious. Their fresh rolls are amazing as well as the starter salad they serve. What prompted me to give less stars this time was my takeout order. In the past I have ordered the Massaman curry in their lunch portion which comes with rice. It's amazing and I usually am able to take a half container home for leftovers. Today I ordered the dinner size portion to go and was shocked to find that it was the same size if not smaller than the lunch portion and comes without rice (which I knew rice was extra with the dinner portion and was ok with that). What I'm not ok with is having a 3/4 full container for $22 when for $19 I can get the lunch size in house, eat half of it, and take half a container home AND ITS THE SAME CONTAINER AS DINNER. So my recommendation is, avoid takeout and dine in. Dine in is amazing, but their to go portions do not match their dine in portions.

Delicious, upscale, but slighty pricey. I've been here only twice, and enjoyed both times so far. Big fan of the fried rice. Good flavor, and lots of veggies and meat! They didn't skimp out. I like the freshness of ingredients especially the vegetables in their complimentary salad and any of their dishes with veggies.

This is THE place. Very authentic food that looks as good as it tastes. The complimentary salad to start was amazing. Really wish more restaurants served veggies first. We tried the fresh spring rolls which could have been a meal in and of themselves. I ordered khao soi which I rarely find on menus at other Thai locations and it did not disappoint. My partner ordered green curry. A tad spicy but not so much you couldn’t eat it. We will be back to try other items for sure. And the staff were not only helpful, on top of everything! The ambiance was perfect for date night. Little to say, we liked everything about this place. Highly recommend.

What a gem! We went here based on an IG post I saw. Although it was only my husband and I we splurged and ordered a platter. The food was delicious!!! We picked the House platter. It was a balanced display of food with healthy options. We had a ton of leftovers and I can't wait to go back.

It's not the first time my husband and I came here, the restaurant is near our home. However, this is going to be our last visit. I ordered ลาบทอด Laab Tod, our favorite appetizer on the menu. My husband cut into the piece and it was hard. He thought there was a piece of bone. It turned out the ground pork was still frozen and raw. It was cold to touch. We told one of the worker and he touched the pork and agreed it was still frozen and uncooked.The dish was taken away and they offered to make a new one but we are already scared of it. They did not charge us for that. :( You could see the pink, clear and raw ground pork in the close up photo. Our main dishes came later. I have nothing to complain about those. I just could not enjoyed it since the appetizer had already ruined my appetite. ผิดหวังค่ะ :(

Me and my family have been here many times,but this time the service was terrible, the place was completely empty we asked for the corner boothe the young lady refused us the table then proceeded to tell us we can sit there but if a group comes in we have to get up from our meal and switch tables. She took forever to take out order and was just overall rude. I asked for the pork belly we normally get in large family platter and she brought me skewers instead again not what I asked for. I was really disappointed this time we always bring family visiting from out of town so we normally have large groups I dont think we will be back here

4/5 food: We are visiting from the bay area, and tried THAI without any recommendation. The food was so flavorful. I loved the pad thai, especially because it did not have a lot of egg in it. The peanut sauce on the parang tasted great, but the chicken was boiled and could have used more peanut sauce. Also, the spinach was raw. The salad brought out first had a tangy dressing and was a nice added touch. The Thai ice tea was typical,, cold and super sweet. 5/5 on service. The server was courteous, attentive and prompt. It was nice that she welcomed us back. 5/5 for atmosphere. It's a small, but quant restaurant. The outside seating area would be very inviting on a summer evening. I saw a bar area too. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the Sac. area.

We randomly went here to eat after a holiday show at the church down the street. The restaurant isn't big but had a good amount of seats. There weren't many people on a week night which was great. We were seated immediately. The server was very nice and attentive. He refilled our waters multiple times. My favorite item was the pineapple fried rice with seafood. The flavors were delicious. I wish I could've had it thai spicy but I was sharing with my kids, lol. My son ordered the pad thai with beef. His beef was very chewy and we couldn't swallow it at all. This is why I had to knock off 1 star. The chicken and shrimp were good though.

Fantastic Spot for Excellent Happy Hour Mocktails & Takeout! SITREP I must thank Yelp for putting THAI (The Authentic House of Ingredients ("THAI" - isn't that clever?) on my dashboard! Over the years, I have attended Yelp Elite Events (YEEs) and become a genuine fan of this place. So much so that now during obscene rush hour commuter traffic on Hwy 50 or Business 80, I'll choose to go down H Street and will stop by THAI for a deLISH exotic mocktail and/or some takeout! THE SETUP I always have litmus tests when I am measuring whether I like a spot or not. If Mexican cuisine, on my first visit to a Mexican restaurant, I order cheese enchiladas and/or chili rellenos. Here in this case with Thai-cuisine, I always start with Tom Kha and Drunken Noodles. LE MENU * Mango Tang Mocktail is an exceptional lightly tart mocktail with mango, raspberry and lemonade juices. The drink has an exceptional flavor depth, added to by the lemon pulp. * Tom Kha soup (sometimes known as Tom Kha Gai in other Thai establishments) otherwise called "Spicy Coconut Milk Soup" is perfectly spicy: they have options of mild, medium, hot or Thai Hot. I got the Thai Hot, of course. You get options between three (3) proteins - chicken, shrimp, tofu or a combination of two (2) - to add to your Tom Kha. I've had the Shrimp and Tofu, but prefer the Chicken and Shrimp that has healthy portions of both along with nice Asian veggies. * Drunken Noodles are preferable because they have the thicker noodle that I love, over the smaller noodles that usually goes with the Pad Thai. But both dishes are excellent and either is an excellent litmus test for Thai-cuisine as far as I'm concerned. * 3-Layer Rice, which consists of: 1. White Jasmine Rice; 2. Au-chen Rice; and, 3. Raspberry Rice All 3 are excellent and make an excellent bed for my Tom Kha and/or the Peanut Sauce. I didn't get any appetizers on this outing, but when I do, I love the peanut sauce on them. I also use the Peanut sauce at home on my deep-fried breaded prawns. NEIGHBORHOOD VIBE Literally. This is a standalone business in the middle of a residential neighborhood along H Street. I only mention this because there is very limited restaurant parking (not enough for the patrons) and so you will find it necessary to park in front of home on an adjacent neighborhood street. THE LOWDOWN THAI is a fantastic restaurant that you will enjoy going back to again and again like I do! :)

This place is fire! Ordered some pineapple fried rice and plate of noodles. Mix the pineapple with the jalapeños, hella fire! The service started off slow with lots of people standing at the front counter. The whole place was beautiful but it was empty. Then finally an employee came to sit us. It took a minute but I guess it was worth the wait. The salad they bring to you is really good, and the food was amazing. The pineapple rice had a lil hint of curry with chunks of pineapple. I forgot what the noodles were called but they were some thick fat noodles with an amazing flavor! I'm going to try it again soon.

We came here for the Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenge. We had four people in our group. Right away, we were told their system was down and that we'd need to download their app and order online, which caused some confusion and delays with getting our food. We ordered the Mee Krob Crispy Vermicelli Delight, Royal Thai Green Curry, Thong Moun Sod Coconut Blossom Dessert, and Vegan Tofu Pad Thai. Unfortunately, after a few bites of the Pad Thai, we realized it had egg. We let our waiter know, and they remade it. One of our friend's curries also came out cold, and she had to ask for it to be reheated. Because of the system issues and delays, they comped two of our friends' drinks, but nothing was comped for the Pad Thai mistake or the cold curry. Overall, a bit of a disappointing experience, even though the food itself was good once it was corrected.

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had. We ordered the seafood pad Thai, Kang Phed Bphet Yang, and pad khing. All of it was excellent. We placed an order to go the the host was very friendly and patient with us as there was some confusion on our end. I the price is reasonable; however the entrees don't come with rice so you have to pay separately for that. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

SOVENTS Vegan Chak Challenge can't believe I was apart of this experience Mee Krob $14 Crispy Vermicelli Delight Delicate vermicelli, deep-fried to a golden crisp and tossed in a fragrant palm sugar-tamarind glaze. Finished with roasted cashews and crispy tofu, served with fresh chives and bean sprouts on the side. A perfect harmony of sweet, sour, and refreshing flavors. They really explained it so well on their paper. This was like the best noodle you never knew about. Royal THAI Green curry $22 A vibrant vegan green curry crafted from our chef's special recipe, topped with crispy fried soft tofu and smoky grilled eggplant. Served over nutrient-rich riceberry rice-a rare Thai grain prized for its natural jasmine fragrance, high fiber, and vitamins. I loved this 10/10 recommend. I'm coming back for this! Thong Moun Sod $14 Coconut Blossom Delight A traditional Thai dessert crafted from tapioca flour infused with rich coconut milk, tender young coconut meat, and toasted black sesame. Filled with a silky coconut cream, young coconut meat, and taro for a delicate balance of sweetness and fragrance. The only thing I was not a fan of but I ate it and tried it. The texture was the reason why it was different to me. I can't wait to order these platters. They had so many different dishes. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I definitely would've been here. This will be a regular spot. I love all the open windows. The sunshine inside was really nice. The drinks they made everybody looks so pretty

Wow. went for the vegan chefs challenge and so far- this restaurant has taken the cake. I'm not vegan but wanted to try some new flavors/ restaurants, thai made it on my list! I got the royal green thai curry, and a cute little cocktail . All of their cocktails are DELICIOUS. And beautifully presented! I would come back just to drink a few. The flavors in their food are genuinely insane. This is one of the better thai restaurants i've had in the area. iTs a little pricy, but it's worth it. The servers were attentive, but also respectful enough to give out party time to chat and sip on their outdoor portion. Indoor and outdoor seating available, the outdoor section is beautiful when the weather is nice. Bathroom inside. Go!

MY OH THAI! The House of Authentic Ingredients lives up to its name! Everything you order from Apps, to drinks to entrees is fresh ... and they actually bring in a lot of their ingredients from Thailand... doesn't get more authentic than that! The staff are super sweet and helpful in offering suggestions and the ambiance is very sleek and intimate inside. A great spot for date night, dinner with friends or a family gathering! I would recommend this you check them out!

Stop by here for some dinner and I must say it was such a wonderful experience. The staff was so kind and helpful!! They had an amazing menu with a beautiful spread to choose from and honestly everything we got was so flavorful juicy, and the spices were out of this world. I have never had a meat cook so beautifully so I was really happy with them. I was literally so excited with the food. I did not even get any pictures, but it was delicious.

After my sisters and I had a nice walk in McKinley Park and Rose garden. We venture a mile down the street to the nicely decorated quiet Thai spot. The food was amazing. Green Tofu vegetarian or vegan curry dish was colorful and tasty.Love the coconut flavor. Next best was the Pad Kee Mao (recommended by Tammy our waitress). I wanted my sis to try a different dish. And she fell for my trick hehe. That dish was full of Thai flavors and spices. Least favorite was the Pad Tai. Compared to the other two dishes and the shrimp appetizer the Pad Tai fell flat and dry. But the service and the other dishes are well worth the trip to this authentic restaurant. They also have a well stocked bar and a lovely patio that you can sit enjoy the fall East Sac scenery.

I would give this restaurant a 4.5 for flavor and portion size. I want to thank the staff who were so accommodating and let me decorate the outdoor patio for a surprise celebration for my friend who had just eloped. The patio was beautiful with lush greenery and the inside is super cute as well. I had the Pad See Eiu and it was FANTASTIC flavor. And absolutely HUGE portion. My friends loved their dishes as well. We also had the banana dessert and it was very good. I definitely will be back here again!

In celebration of the Vegan Chef Challenge, highlighting Thai, we were treated to beautifully plated appetizers. The first was Mee-Keon, a crispy vermicelli delight. The second was a vegan green curry topped with tofu and grilled eggplant, and the dessert was Thong Moun Sod, a coconut blossom delight made from tapioca with coconut milk, and filled with coconut cream and taro. They were all delicious T, the manager graciously introduced each dish and then presented three extravagant platters that was also shared with us. One was Volcano platter, Royal platter, and the Thai table platter. They were huge. Everyone got to line up to select from the platters. The items looked delicious as people were making their selections. There was only one table behind us so our table had the tail end to sample. I was able to try a little of the Thai noodles, which was good, a couple of varieties of rice, a rib, and a couple of pieces of fresh calamari. I liked the rice too, but the rib was very dry, and I probably should have selected one of the sauces from the platter for it, but didn't know what sauce was what, since the last rib may have been moved around before I got to it. I would love to go back to try many items from the menu. The staff were great, and T was awesome. Thank you for the sangrias too, however I did not have one. They looked delicious. There are a few parking spaces on the street out front, but parking can be challenging. There are spaces in front of homes and both 1 hour and 2 hour spaces around. If you want an extravagant place to go to for some Thai food, this is the spot. I dined at THAI for a friend's birthday celebration because they have platters and plates that are beautifully decorated. Of course, we had to go to a spot where we could get the most Instagram pictures out of. We ended up ordering The Thai Table, which is a sharing platter with prawn fresh rolls, crispy spring rolls, papaya salad, aunchan rice, fried pork, crispy chicken wings, pork ribs, prawn buttered fried rice, and pad thai. Everything was great, and more than enough for three people. My favorite in the platter would have to be the pad thai and the wings. However, don't expect EVERY dishes to have that real authentic home taste to it. Because this looked like a more upscale Thai restaurant, I wasn't expecting tastes of home from every bite. As for the ambience, it's low lights and dark wood within an intimate space, making this place perfect for a dinner date or any special occasion. They also had a bar that I would definitely consider sitting at the next time I come here!

I would go back cause the ambiance is perfect for a cozy date night. The lighting is inviting and makes you want to really converse with the one you are with. I would order again. The rice was delish. I loveee a good rice dish (as you can tell lol - I could stand to lose a few lbs ) but an expertly made Thai fried rice will get my heart every time. The portion is generous and I enjoyed the soft billowy kernels of rice. I would order again. 5/5 Chef's Special Garlic Crab I would order again. They did not hold back on the garlic and it was great! Sticky, roasted garlic, succulent crab, - - they worked together perfectly. 5/5 Pad Thai - I would not order again. Odd situation here, I don't like peanuts and I asked for no nuts. They are a reputable establishment and I trust they nixed the nuts. my husband also said he did NOT taste any nuts. I still tasted a nut like flavor which I think, is entirely on me. I recently had some mixed nuts (no peanuts) and I think my brain is still processing that cause prior to this, I haven't had pad thai in years. 2/5 Thai BBQ Pork Ribs - I would not order again. First off, the sauce less salad accompaniment is a total slap in the face. This dish has a sauce complex cause not only is the salad WITHOUT sauce, the ribs are also WITHOUT sauce. While the ribs were good, the amount of sauce is lacking. IMHO it would need at least 2x or 3x the amount of sauce to cover the ribs and salad. 2/5 Peak Gai Tod - I would order again. Crispy seasoned chicken wings are the things I love to try everywhere. The crispy skin is seasoned liberally and it came out piping hot. I enjoyed the sweet and umami flavor of the sauce that it came with. I wish it were either larger wings or more party wings. 4/5

Visited Thai Sacramento and I'm still thinking about the flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious, but their sauces are seriously on another level. It's the kind of flavor where you take a bite and immediately looked at my husband and asked "did you taste that?!" Sooo good! The owner is so kind and welcoming, and the staff kept checking on us without it ever feeling rushed. You can tell they genuinely care about your experience. My toddler had the best time too. Such a family friendly restaurant! If you're craving Thai food with sauces that hit, this is the place. I already know I'll be back soon.

This was my 2nd time coming here and they did not disappoint (me at least). I came here with a couple of friends before heading out to a comedy show. I had ordered the Beef Pad Thai and a Thai Tea cocktail. My friends ordered a couple of appetizers, a cocktail, yellow curry (based off of our servers recommendation) and drunken noodles (I believe). Anyways I definitely enjoyed my beef pad thai. It was so flavorful with a nice little kick of heat but nothing overpowering. I also liked that on the side of the plate they have an extra hit of their spices in case you want to add a little extra flavor and heat. My friend who had ordered noodles loved his as well. Where things fell short was my friend's yellow curry. I didn't realize it at the time but he HATED it. And that's really saying something because he's now super picky. I wish he had asked for some noodles because I had so much pad Thai that I could have shared more than the little bit to taste that I gave him. Anyways he didn't quite describe what it was that he didn't like aside from taste. He just wasn't pleased overall and barely finished maybe 1/3 of it. As for service overall I had no complaints. They were pretty prompt with taking our orders and getting us our drinks and apps. If I'm in the area looking for a good and fairly quick sit down restaurant I wouldn't hesitate to come here either by myself or with a small group. Were I just taking my experience and my friend who ordered noodles, then I'd feel comfortable giving them a 5/5. Considering how much my friend hated his curry though I just have to drop them to a 4/5. Misc: one thing I'll say is if you're looking for truly authentic flavors, I can't say if they are, or if they are catering more to their customer population.

A couple of years ago, a young couple told us that the best Thai food in town was here. They were right. First, we had a delightful server. Caitlin gave us great food recommendations, is personable, and made us smile. There's a full bar, and great cocktails with a Thai twist. We had the fresh rolls with prawns for our appetizer. Delicious. The prawn butter fried rice with duck is out of this world. Yellow curry? Yes, please. And they served a big salad with all of this! For dessert, the sticky rice is an absolute must. There was enough left over that we enjoyed it again the next day. Guess where we're taking our son for dinner for his birthday!

So far have been here three times in the last three months. Service is good. Ambiance is inviting. Parking is ok. All together makes for a pleasing visit. The food each time is amazing. This is my favorite Thai restaurant now. Prices are a bit high, but I think the experience makes it worth it. I recommend.

This spot is great with authentic Thai cuisine. Every single dish here is done very very well. The service is great, although we were a little confused who was waiting on us (I think it's a team effort here). The prices are a bit higher here but the portions are massive! They also have a nice patio outside.

Craving Thai food while on the way to Lake Tahoe. Got outdoor seating on the nice weather day with the lovely vibes. The service was nice and friendly. The food was great with beautiful presentation. The platter was very good idea to share if you came with a big party. But for Thai people like me, I still don't think this is a real authentic taste for Thai people. I didn't feel the strong flavors but I can't deny that every dish was well-balanced. This place provides the parking space as a good bonus!

Nick was our server!! Great vibes and he was super helpful with the menu! The food was great!! The dish I had, Gkuay Tiew Gai, was more on the sweet side, I didn't like that as much but just added some chili oil and that helped. The Thai tea crème brûlée tasted amazing! The crunch on the top, really made the dessert!

This review is so overdue! i have been here four times already and i love the food. Can o just say the butter rice is delicious. service is great and attentive. We've ordered the platters every time we've been with the branzino. it's yummy. the restaurant is not large but perfect for a great neighborhood thai restaurant. On a side not the sauce on the branzino i would eat a shoe of it was covered in that sauce !!!

I dined here years ago. More recently, I see them popping up on Instagram featuring their platters. The presentation is great, but I had some doubts about it. My friends and I ordered the volcano platter. There's a fire burning in the middle of it. The platter came with wings, chicken skin, chicken curry puffs, chive cakes, pork nam tok salad, com salad, jasmine rice, tom yum fried rice with shrimp, sweet n sour glazed pork ribs, salted egg noodles and fried calamari. The most interesting thing to me was the chive cakes, since I never had it before. I didn't try the ribs and the jasmine rice went untouched. This was enough food for us, but we also ordered the som tum salad and pad kee mao noodles. I would say everything was pretty good, but nothing amazing. Afterwards, we realized what was missing- spice. The food was quite mild and could've been enhanced if it had more of a kick to it.

Decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing it on my Instagram feed. The platters are beautifully presented, and food was flavorful. Living in the Bay Area, I do feel that I have had better and more authentic food elsewhere. The restaurant ambience also wasn't as pretty as I thought it would be.

Thai is one of my favorite cuisines. At THAI, you're first welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere, which is perfect for casual and special occasions. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of authentic dishes. We ordered pad Thai. The noodles were cooked perfectly and flavors spot on. We also ordered the green curry, which was rich, aromatic, and a delightful blend of spices. The service was also exceptional. The staff was very attentive and friendly, ensuring we had a great experience.

Four of us came on a Saturday night and had a fantastic meal here. Both the food and service were great. There was even convenient parking right outside. Once we were sat, we were brought a cocktail menu, wine list, food menu, and apparently a chef's specials menu that included their famous platters. I didn't see this menu but eventually looked at it after inquiring about the fancy platters being served at tables around us. I had been drawn to this restaurant because of their colorful pictures of platters posted on Instagram so it was nice to see they did really look good in person. While we didn't order platters ourselves, we did order a variety of dishes. We started with a Ho Ho Hot Toddy cocktail made with Four Roses. They were enjoyable to drink while reviewing the menu. After ordering, we were brought a complimentary salad. For appetizers, we had the Yum Apple Salad, Fresh Rolls with Shrimp, Gai Satay, and Tom Kha with Chicken. Then we had Kang Panang Curry with Chicken, Pad Kee Mao with Seafood, and Pad Prik Khing with Pork. The comp salad had a very nice and light dressing over fresh mixed greens. My son loved the Yum Apple. The rolls were fresh and the soup was yummy. We expected the satay to come on skewers but were pleasantly surprised to be served big strips of chicken with delicious peanut sauce and no sticks. Every entree dish had good flavors that were all different from one another. We asked for the Pad Kee Mao to be a little spicier and we really enjoyed it. The Pad Kee Mao with Seafood had a good amount of seafood. After dinner, we moved the car across the street and walked to the Fab 40 Christmas lights. It was the perfect location for a tasty holiday meal. Looking at the platters, we want to come back to share a platter with cocktails so there will be another visit soon. I recommend this restaurant for a team get together over food.

This is my second visit in two weeks and I can't wait to go back! Thai food is one of my favorites so I'm always happy to try a new spot. On my first visit I sat inside for lunch and had the chef's special salmon dish which was just phenomenal, perfectly cooked. Tonight I sat on the patio (love the ambiance and lights!). I ordered the pad priew wan, the curry puffs, thai iced tea, and mango with sticky rice. My waitress (kaitlyn) was lovely, the food came out quick and everything was fantastic just like the first time. I already can't wait to go back!

The food was delicious and the vegetables were fresh. Come with an appetite because the portions are large, we had an abundance of food! I loved the setting, nice quiet atmosphere also you can eat inside or outside, your choice. If you live in Sacramento or visiting, please stop by because you won't regret it!

Service was great. Love the spot and the vibe of the restaurant. Order the volcano platter for 4 people. Nothing on that platter disappointed. Favorite on it was the Tom Yum fried rice. So much flavor with a nice kick to it. The grilled pork salad was a close top fav also. Will say didn't even touch the jasmine rice on it because there's the fried rice and noodles also offered. The platter was a great way to try a lot of the foods Thai has to offer. Would love to come back and see what else they have.

Ordered the Thai fried rice with beef for pick up and it was underwhelming. I asked for a spice level between mild and medium, but it ended up tasting not spicy at all. The beef was very dry too and had no flavor. This was a bit disappointing because the other meals I've tried at THAI before tasted so great.

My friends and I ordered the Volcanic Platter. My favorite was the calamari, tom yum fried rice and the Larb steak?We also ordered larb salad that was delicious! They had great service, quick seating for a Friday night! Ambiance in the place definitely does not feel like you're in midtown. It's its' own pocket of aura with the low lighting outdoor seating.

I made a reservation where for my friends birthday and they were so accommodating and fun! East to make a reservation for a big group. Had a nice outdoor area for us but I will say the outdoor benches fit at most 6 comfortably and 8 tightly. We got one of the large volcano platter and everything was delicious. We had 7 girls and still couldn't finish the platter so well worth the money! They also gave our friend a delicious mango sticky rice for her birthday.

We sat in the patio area which we enjoyed because we have a toddler who does not sit still! The service was great. All the staff were super kind to us and our curious toddler. We had the volcano platter which was plenty of food for the 5 of us. Next time, we will try individual entrees. Thank you for being so kind and accommodating to our little one.

Made a reservation on a weekday for a party of 4 on a Tuesday night. On the outside, just looks like a house in the middle of a neighborhood but has a really nice ambiance when you're inside. The menu is a mix of traditional Thai dishes and more unique options including a big mixed platter, which is what we decided to get to sample a little bit of everything. While the food is flavorful and well-prepared, it's definitely on the milder side so if you're expecting spicy, you definitely will need to ask for hot sauce. The service was really friendly and attentive. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and can offer helpful recommendations. Overall, a good dinner choice in the area.

First time here and it looked very busy, but super inviting. The size of the restaurant is smaller than I thought, but perfect size for them to manage. It was very cute and they have patio seating in the front or side area which is perfect for larger parties. The service was great because the sweet gal explained and helped navigate what we may possibly be interested in eating which we appreciated a lot. I have been sent IG messages from friends and family to try this restaurant out because they do not live close enough and so I can't wait to tell them that this restaurant is super legit with loads of flavor. Make reservations online if you have a large party and you will need to find parking in the neighborhood on the street.

I search on Instagram to find a good restaurant in Sacramento area and , I see first video for this Thai restaurant, we try the food and we really like it. Staff is very friendly good ambience. , we will definitely try again this restaurant

THAI - The House of Authentic Ingredients has consistently impressive food. Every dish tastes fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. The food is great and shout out to Nick/Nik our bartender/waiter. He was very attentive to us on Oct 11. Outstanding customer service!! There was this one female waiter that had an attitude when I asked her for straws after she placed down our water and never came back with the straws. Even when I walked back to my table from the restroom. She was walking the opposite way and ran into me, did not stop, and just bumped into me. Girl got nasty attitude and no etiquette as a waitress. I spent $600 for a birthday dinner celebration there every year there and random dinner nights... to see and experience since a behavior like that towards my party was disgusting. She should think about it changing job because she doesn't seem to have the right behavior just because I asked for straws. Maybe she was discriminating to our table only. She seem to serve others fine.

First time here. Food was really good. I ordered the green curry with chicken and the mango sticky rice. I'm giving 3 stars because Staff was OK. Just got a very bad uninviting feeling. We opted to sit outside as it was a sunny but still a very cool day. Low was about 39° & high was only 61° for the day. It was about 11:30am. It was still a little bit breezy so we asked if she could turn on the heat lamp and she seemed really annoyed. I even said thank you twice but she just ignored my response. There was only one other couple inside so it wasn't busy at all. There's parking right outside the restaurant. Restaurant looked very clean, but we opted to sit outside to enjoy the fresh air. I would come back for the food just hope our waitress on our next visit will be a bit friendlier.

Had this spot for the first time and it was pretty disappointing. Food wasn't bad, but it was far from authentic. Nam Tok was so dry & cold when we got it. The kana moo grob???? So sad and dry

Loved the food. Delicious. Fresh, and spicy. My favorites were the green curry and papaya salad. I'd love to come back for happy hour.

Overall Experience - 3.5 stars Service - 4 stars Food - 3 stars We got one of their platter, papaya salad was bland, pad thai was good, fried rice was okay, chicken wings was dry, rib was good but dry, spring rolls was eh, blue color rice was bland, egg rolls was okay and lastly, bbq meat was good but some pieces were dry. Service was fast. Would I return? Maybe if I am in the area, but only for the Pad Thai.

I'm not sure if anyone else saw it, but there was a IG Reel that displayed their "The Thai Table" platter and it looked AMAZING. So ever since i saw that reel, i've been dying to try this place. The first time I drove over here, they were closed for a private event. The second time, they were closed and then this was my third time and what do they say... Third time's the charm? Wel it was... because i finally got to try this restaurant. It's a nice size restaurant, didn't seem too busy. The staff were friendly, but their service could've been better. It took some time for the order to be placed and served as well as checking in. Overall, their service wasn't too bad but it could be better. This is what i ordered: Calamari- The calamari was delicious. It had such a nice crunch and the sauce complimented it very well. I wouldn't change a thing. Chu Chee Salmon - The salmon in the panang curry sauce was wonderful. I love this combination. I did feel like the salmon was a bit overcooked, but the flavor was not lacking. The veggies on the side were steamed so nothing special. Pad Kee Mao- I ordered the beef Pad Kee Mao and it was good. I ordered medium spicy level but it wasn't spicy. So I asked for pepper and I loved that they give fresh thai chilis as well as dried red pepper too. This dish had a lot of flavor and the extra spice made it even better. The noodles were perfectly cooked, so they weren't mushy. There was plenty of meat as well as veggies, but the noodle ratio was great. Overall, the food was good. However, I didn't feel like there was anything special so I'm not sure if I'd be back another time.

I've been dying to try this place because I saw how great the food looks! My friend booked a reservation for us and I was surprised to see a bunch of slots open. Please book before hand, the place gets busy! we went on a Friday and there was already so many people. Walking in, this place was a luxury modern restaurant where everyone was dressed for a date or even a casual dressy get together. We need a restaurant like this in sac! It was very dry small and compact, but clean. We ordered a huge plate of food with eggrolls, fried rice, pad Thai, sweet blue rice, papaya salad, and different sorts of meat mixed with beef and pork. This mix of food fed 3 girls and we finished the whole plate! The meats were packed with flavor and highly seasoned! The papaya salad was DELICIOUS, wish the put more because it gave us a fresh crunch after eating all the carbs and meat. I cannot forget the frites rice it came with. Not sure, but I tasted either crab or some seafood taste with it and it was DELICIOUS. The pad Thai gave a sweet/salty taste and it was pretty flavorful. Overall we paid $150 with tip for this meal, it was well worth it for the experience and the aesthetic :)

We passed by this place a while back and finally decided to try it out! The food was excellent and the service was nice and quick. We ordered two appetizers and the Chicken Pad Thai and Tom Yum, and they were yummy! It was a perfect amount of heat, with a little more to grow if you wanted to add. The inside decor is also nice and modern.

Run away! Far, far away. They do not understand customer service. My wife had an appointment next door, so we decided to order carry out that she could pick up afterwards. Their website lets you select the time you want the order ready. So, at 545 I placed an order for pickup at 645.. At 601 I received a txt that my order was ready for pickup. I messaged the restaurant back that I asked for it at 645 because that was when we could pick it up and that I expected freshly prepared food. My wife arrived about 640, and went through this story with the person who helped her. The insisted the food had just been prepared. We live five minutes away. The salad rolls were warm and soggy from having sat in top of the curry and rice. They curry was room temp. The rice was a congealed room temperature mass. Clearly the food had been sitting since 601
