Brewery & cidery in old bank; experimental brews, cocktails, pinball

"Situated in an old bank building in the Henderson Water Street District, part of the charm of this family-owned brewpub is the still intact vault and safety deposit boxes, as well as a larger-than-life mural depicting the brewery’s mascots: a jackrabbit and a coyote, chosen for being animals native to the Mojave Desert. Co-owner John “Griff” Griffith and head brewer Andy Cohon are not afraid to play around with nontraditional ingredients, such as SINamon Toast Crunch brewed with cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup; and Shotgun Wedding with raspberry and serrano chili peppers. In addition to beer, Mojave Brewing makes ciders, like the Punk Lemonade Cider sweetened with strawberry." - Bob Barnes

"Mojave Brewing serves its Flesh for Fantasy cider for Halloween for $7.25 a pint with passionfruit. The cider is available on tap in the brewery’s tasting room." - Susan Stapleton

"Get growler refills and Mojave Brewing Co.’s beers such as Skrogzilla blonde ale, Jake The Snake margarita seltzer, Santeria Tamarind Cider, and more." - Susan Stapleton

"Next door I noted the 'small but mighty' Mojave Brewing Co., mentioned as a neighboring brewery to the new Biscuits & Bourbon location." - Bradley Martin

"While the taproom remains closes, Mojave Brewing Co. is advising fans to check social media for a future reopening date. During the hiatus, the small batch beer experts are creating growlers, howlers and stovepipe cans for curbside pickup, available daily from 3 to 7 p.m." - Susan Stapleton
