Never underestimate the food in Tokyo. I can't imagine that I can find very good and authentic tacos in this neighborhood. The masa (Mexican corn dough) is just great, strong maize aroma. The fillings in the menu are all simple but solid combinations, like the chillis with brown mole, carnitas, and chicken with green mole. They even brings up some local ingredient combo like whitebait (しらす) omelete which is very good filling in taco. Remind you that this is a breakfast taco shop, and you need to prepare for queue even on workdays mornings. Many tourists flocks here from time to time. Recommend for tacos lovers if you visit Tokyo and thirst for tacos.

Really relaxed taco place with super creative food. Simple and easy but the different combinations were great. Especially the different kinds of mole and the seasonal tacos were super tasty. Recommend for lunch and brunch!

People say this place has the best tacos in Tokyo. The shop is right near my university and opens early for "morning tacos," so one day, after going to the gym, I decided to splurge on the Morning taco omakase. Inside, there's a clean modern feel, with vibrant energy and cool contemporary Mexican popular music playing. The walls are painted to match the homemade blue corn tortillas, which they cook to order on the griddle that sits right in front of the counter. After I ordered, they brought me a small bowl of tomato salsa and another of tomatillo salsa verde. Both were flavorful, well salted, with light heat. The first taco they brought might've been the best. Simple and elegant: eggplant salsa, avocado, goat cheese--sprinkled with fresh cilantro leaves. The eggplant salsa had a great silky texture, well-complimented by the creamy goat cheese. In this context, the avocado came across fruity and firm. I was impressed that a small taco could make me reevaluate my impression of avocados. The blue corn tortilla was delicate and tender, just a touch of masa grit. The next one was a white corn tortilla with wilted okahijiki (land seaweed) and smooth refried black beans. The greens were fibrous and nutty, the beans smooth and creamy. The white tortilla had more of a doughy texture than the blue corn did. I had one bite plain, one with red salsa, one with salsa Verde. All were good. Again, very simple, but deeply satisfying. Taco three had nopal cactus, simmered pork cracklins, refried beans and cilantro on blue corn. The chewiness of the simmered cracklin' was a great juxtaposition with with tortilla's mealiness and the beans' smoothness. The fruity acidic spicy nopal and fresh cilantro were a bold contrasting texture and flavor. Taco four was green pepper and chicken gizzard on white corn. This one also had the bean spread and fresh cilantro. Plus, a sprinkling of sesame seeds. The chicken gizzard texture is not my favorite, but I enjoyed it here with the rich sauce. I added a bit too much salsa and made it too spicy. The final piece was fried pork belly, with a cracklin' on top. What's not to like? Succulent pork belly, crispy pork skin, fresh taco. It was great. I guess a creative sauce would've been fun, but it was still delicious. I tried it with both salsas and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I decided to order one more thing after the omakase: the simple quesadilla with Hokkaido cheese. The woman at the griddle flipped it a few times and letting the tortilla fry in the cheesy grease. The Hokkaido cheese was a great compliment to these fresh tortillas. It has that distinct Hokkaido creaminess and it's very elastic and buttery. These are bougie tacos. But they're done well, with a very Japanese character: minimal ingredients, robust flavor, bold texture. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it was expensive (but not more so than other upscale taco joints in Tokyo). I don't know if I'll go back, but I have nothing negative to say about it.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on a weekday. It was busy but I was setted quickly. The staff are friendly and attentive. The menu has English descriptions. I ordered the regular carnitas, special carnitas, tamale, and passion fruit agua fresca. The agua fresca was lightly flavored water. Both carnitas were delicious. The regular was soft and flavorful. The special was fried. It was crunch and tender and very well seasoned. The tamale was chicken and while the chicken wasn't very flavorful, the masa was soft and tasty. The salsas were nice. I paid with a card. I may return.

$75 for tacos so bad I started questioning my life choices. Taco Bell isn’t just better—it’s basically a Michelin-starred pilgrimage compared to this disaster. It’s like the chef Googled “what is taco???” five minutes before service and just gave up halfway. I’m from Los Angeles—I grew up on tacos—and three months into living in Tokyo, this was the culinary low point. Example: the “avocado taco.” Sounds nice, right? Wrong. It was one sad slice of avocado lying naked on a tortilla, like it had given up on itself. No lime, no salsa, no spice. Just sadness wrapped in carbs. The whole place felt like a parody restaurant from a comedy sketch. Except it wasn’t funny—it was $75. Tokyo has thousands of incredible spots to eat. Do yourself a favor: go literally anywhere else. A vending machine sandwich would be an upgrade.

I was so amazed by how delicious the tacos were! First of all the tacos are all freshly made on order- this makes so much difference. Then the toppings… wow. Most of them are heavily Japanese influenced, but the combination of Japanese and Mexican tacos went so well together. Simple ingredients, no unnecessary stuff, but you realize how well executed it is once you bite in the tacos. Don’t come here if you only want to eat traditional Mexican tacos, be open minded and you will love this!

Loved all the tacos! We went with the omakase and I was genuinely surprised by how good the quality was. I think they used local ingredients because everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The quesadilla was hands down the best—definitely a must-try
