There aren't enough words that can sum up my love for this place. From infinite trails and peaks, to wildlife and vegetation of all kinds. Great place to visit for a nice short hike and also for more challenging and worthwhile views type of hikes. I even began volunteering here because I love being at MTRP. This place will forever hold a place in my heart. Shout out to the folks at the Visitor Center and all the Rangers that work there. Thank you!

I love love love this place. My kids and I visit almost on a weekly basis until the weather gets too hot. Highly recommend for hikers of all skill levels! Bring lots of water and put on some sunscreen.

Mission Gorge Trail is a fantastic hike with breathtaking views of San Diego. The trail is well-maintained, and the climb to the top is challenging but rewarding. There are also many offbeat trails branching off the main paved road, which are great for bikers. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available, making it convenient for visitors. This was my first time here with my dog while visiting my daughters from Sacramento, and we had a great time exploring. Don’t forget to bring water and wear sturdy shoes. Highly recommend this spot for outdoor enthusiasts!

Love this place it's the perfect nature getaway hidden in the city. The Visitor's Center loop is a nice 3km walk, low intensity good for families and pets. Some people like to ride bikes or run it. It goes by some water areas. The Visitor's center has drinking water and restrooms outside. There is parking just look at signs to see when the parking lots close. If you are going after hours there is street parking. The museum has many preserved species and a nice view of the park. Definitely a great hiking place for individuals or groups.

Wonderful! Great displays and activities. Beautiful view! I liked the identifying plant plaques around the nature center. Good place to start a hike. Or walk and easy pedestrian road

This is a beautiful and informative Visitors center nestled into the hillside. The back patio area looks to the 5 peaks of Mission Trails Park. The visitors center is easy to get to. The 5 peaks take a bit more effort but are well worth it.

The vistor center was nice. Has alot of details about the wild life. Bathrooms could def. Use a good clean. The lady in charge Sunday ,could've been a little more welcoming. Besides that the visitor center was amazing! Trails alhave amazing views my 9 year old and 4 year old both hiked with me easy and accessible to strollers. Bikes and motorcycles are permitted on the road. Has plenty of parking. Closes at 7pm

Trails set in the middle of the city making hiking and getting out into nature approachable for all. Had a really nice visitor center with bathrooms and kind attendants. The trails are varied with some peaks included as well as flat trails. The river is not visible from the trails, but can be walked down too. Saw lots of wildlife such as snakes, lizards, and birds.
