HORRIBLE!!!!!! We had an order from Uber Eats and here is what we paid for 3 bites of ice cream! What a shame. Driver was great. Icee cream was a rip off!!!

This is a great cold stone. I came in asking for a mini party pack which the young man Grayson was unfamiliar with. He quickly sprung into an action to figure out what it was and went to ask the owner who is heavily involved in the store. He explained to him what it was and he quickly started to make it. Grayson and the owner were extremely friendly. As someone who is not from here this is a wonderful cold stone and I go to them often. Delicious ice cream. Keep up the good work Abilene.

This was my first time here, and here is how it went! Upon entering I was greeted with a big welcome from more than one voice. Was a short line I assume just not a busy time so I loved that! I let them know it was my first time coming and all my questions were answered from flavoring, how it’s made and a little history. I was told I could try any flavor I wanted to before getting a full order. I was treated respectfully and the girl who took care of me was knowledgeable. I saw every single employee working even while it was not many people here. I saw the owner working with the employees which you don’t see often in many places. What a beautiful atmosphere. It was clean on the inside and walkways looked clean outside. There is outdoor sitting as well as indoor. They have many toppings to choose from which I loved as well! Also good sized portions! I think this will be our spot for ice cream from now on! Overall great experience all around 5 stars.

im not sure what the girl at the register's name was, but she sure was chatting up a storm with the gentleman customer she was talking to. i didn't want to be rude, so i hung back. another employee, Timothy, saw me and took my order. i cracked a joke, he laughed, i ordered, he started making it. i asked if i could sample one of the other flavors, as he's making it, and he politely said sure! grabbed me a sample, and went back to making my ice cream. all the while that woman at the register and that customer were chatting till the cows came home. he could've easily moved to the pick up counter to be out of the way of other customers, but he didn't. as well as, Timothy had to grab a different POS system to take my payment on because she was tak ing up the register! he was so kind and polite, just a great employee. i wouldn't be as upset if the woman even acknowledged me in the slightest. Timothy noticed me, efficiently and politely took my order, gave me a sample, AND cashed me out. i asked his name, and asked if they split tips. he said he didn't know, and i said i didn't have cash. i asked if there was a survey, and here i am. very pleased with Timothy. not very with the other employee.

Great service. The owner Said was so nice to my twin girls and my husband and I. Ice cream great as usual, will be back again and again.

I called over the phone to order a cake because the website was not working. The manager was so helpful and kind. Such a great location!

When I got to the counter the guy working asked me what I wanted and then held his hand up to cut me off from ordering. Then the girl that did take my order only gave me three marshmallows in my ice cream as my topping. I could’ve went to Braum’s! The ice is good though.

Enjoy coming here because the staff is always friendly and polite. Ice cream tastes great, they’ve never been out of any flavors/toppings, and they genuinely seems to care about the customer experience.

Friendly staff and clean tables. The icecream was yummy and pricing was fair! We also got a couple small ice creams to take home. I can't wait until the weather gets nice and we can sit at the tables outside.

Was there about 2:00 on 5/24/25. I asked for the ice cream I wanted and the young smart aleck guy asked if I wanted each one of the ingredients in the one I picked. He said them by name. I told him I wanted whatever is usually in it. My dad picked up an ice cream cup that was on top of the ice cream cover, the glass, and showed him the size cup he wanted, the employee rolled his eyes at him. Seriously?! An employee rolling his eyes at a customer right in front of his face?! He should be fired! I asked him why he just rolled his eyes, and he said he wasn't supposed to touch that cup. Are you serious? It's a cup that's not being used for customers, it's a display. And if you don't want it touched, move it out of reach . Now, there was a sign posted on the glass window that covers the buckets of ice cream that said "do not touch", but we thought it meant the glass, not the example cups displayed for sizes! Their costs are ridiculous. With what happened on Saturday, we now, are thinking we'll never go back. And neither will the other 14 family members we meet there throughout the year for special occasions! We're done dealing with smart aleck, rude employees. The service is horrible, no ambience, and the ice cream, I could make at home!

Good ice cream and workers were nice, BUT that music is way too loud! I wanted cotton candy with the strawberry ICECREAM and they put actual strawberry, NOT WHAT I REQUESTED! My grandma was with me too and she also did not get what she wanted! This needs to be fixed ASAP

I just placed an order for delivery today, and when it arrived it was not correct! I called the store and the manager was so nice and cared so much, he actually remade the order and delivered it to me personally! This was so amazing as now days most will argue with you or only offer to fix it if you can come up there! This gesture to not only make things right but brought it to me personally... WOW just WOW! I hope this manager is given a store of his own! He is on track to achieve all top spots in this company and definitely deserves acknowledgment and recognition! Thank you for what you did sir, you impressed me immensely, and I will be a loyal customer from here on out no other ice cream store for me! My business is yours for a lifetime! Thank you Coldstone for employing a person with this amount of integrity and phenomenal service!!

Very good ice cream and nice employees but very expensive! The line is usually really long but worth the wait! They have great ice cream cakes but they're also pretty pricey! We got the pre-packed quarts because they're a much better deal even though you obviously don't get any toppings... 2 quarts (like half a gallon) almost $24! Maybe they had to milk a golden calf to make the ice cream which was excellent but Blue Bell is like $5 for the same amount! 5 star experience but 1 star price

We love Cold Stone Creamery! We are never disappointed. I love the smell of waffle cones baking and the sweet ice cream .

Giving this three stars for great ice cream, great customer service(from one employee) but poor management. Came here last night and there's a line to the door. No worries. But there's one guy scooping and making the ice cream. Took forever to get ours and naturally the line is still out the door. There's at least two other employees there that I can see - a girl and a boy. At one point the girl is in front of the counter cleaning and doing what seems to be closing procedures, but mind you it's only about 8PM at this point. The other guy is doing who knows what. I get there are other tasks to do, but for heavens sake take care of the customers, especially the line to the door first. Otherwise you won't have customers. Luckily the guy helping every single person was awesome and it make up for it.

The ice cream IS delicious. But you shouldn't have to wait 30+ minutes to get it :( which super sucks when you have kids. The staff is really nice so it isn't their fault, but there should be at least double The amount of employees or better training or something. .

I really like that you can create your own flavor of ice cream. It's always a fun experience.

Had a gift card, it wouldn't go through. Went to the car to check the balance and there was $30. I feel like more could have been done to honor it.

I love ice cream, but this establishment is one of the poorest ran Cold Stone's around. There are usually only 3 employees and it takes at least 15 minutes to get your order completed (that's if you are the only person in the building). Many times they'll hand you your ice cream dripping with residue, and then say "whoops, watch out, it's messy." Uh, really, ya think? This really makes me so sad; I love Ice cream, but the service here makes it an easy "no" for me.

One of the few places in Abilene to get an ice cream. It's nothing special, but the ice cream is still good nonetheless. I got the Sweet Cream with a Oreo mix-in and strawberry sauce on top. Service is decent. Overall I'm satisified when I come here.

Great ice cream yet for the past 3 weeks it seems like they've been having a lot of machinery break downs...not fun when you live over an hour away. Went one day & they were only serving shakes b/c of a problem with something. Or they open up later than usual b/c of problems. Or I call to ask when they close on our way in from the metroplex with another 1-1/4 hrs to go to get home - when I get there 40 min before close I have to go in while someone is coming out b/c doors are locked. They then say they're closing early b/c of some mechanical issue. Guess they've been in Abilene too long & need their equipment replaced. I'll be welcoming Braums with open arms!

This Cold Stone is so great! The staff are personable, quick, and efficient. The ice-cream is delicious! The owner was working while I was there and was so kind, interactive, and helpful!

I came over 20 minutes before closing time today, and they told my friends and I that we couldn't mix anything in the ice cream because they had already cleaned the frozen bar. I would understand maybe 3 minutes before close, but it was well before closing. I am disappointed to say the least. We come to cold stone all the time, and we even called in advance tonight to make sure they were still open. Going home empty handed :(

Got there and waited in line for 30 minutes, which I did not mind. But as soon as I went to pay they just then decided to tell me that they were only taking cash, which of course I did not have. Honestly ridiculous that I had to wait 30 minutes and didn't even get to buy my damn ice cream.

I ordered a cake for my daughter's High School graduation party 24 hours prior to pick up. Coldstone set the pick up time, and the calls was pre-paid +tip with a credit card. I arrived a little after the scheduled time, but the cake was not ready. The cake had not even been made. A very young manager (not much older than the young people working...) said that the "person who was supposed to make your cake didn't show up today. You'll have to come back tomorrow AFTER 1pm. It'll be done then." That was a full 48 hours after the order was placed. I told the "boy manager" that was totally unacceptable because of our schedule. (Ceremony taking place, guests, party, etc...) to which he relied, "Oh well, sorry... that's the best I can do." No offers to reduce the price, no offers to refund/ cancel the order... When I returned at the re-scheduled time, the cake was NOT ready. I waited another 30 minutes, the cake was horribly made, no decorations and the single word "congratulations" across the top was illegible. I'll never darken the doors of this store again. Bad business!!

Love the ice cream but holy cow the workers are the most immature group of kids. No adult supervision at all! You all need to hire some better managers because it was a circus in there. They consistently berated each other and it took them 20 minutes with 6 workers to serve 4 people! Seriously! This place is a joke! Get your act together!

The line is always extremely long and they yell out a little chant if you decide to tip. The management needs to hire more employees in order to fix the overcrowding and long lines issue. Ice cream flavor selection is average. I think this place is overpriced.

Stood in line for 10 minutes only to have the employee at the counter start helping the group of people behind us. We walked out rather than go back to the end of an even longer line.

Probably one of the worst Cold Stone Creamery stores I have ever been to! I've only ever had one good experience and it was a group of girls working that did a great job! Other than that, the past times have been atrocious. It seems as if the employees do not know what they are doing. I'm not an expert at blending flavors together but I'm sure it can't be that hard. Employees are so unprofessional and rude! They don't greet you at all! There are always lines at this place, and it seems that they are undermanned! I refuse to give this Cold Stone location any more of my income. It's despicable! They need better training, and an overall evaluation!

As I stated on my TripAdvisor review: Let me start out by saying that the food items and drinks that you can get here are amazing! I will not be complaining about that... but what I will be complaining about is how a staff member (unsure of her name) started flirting with my boyfriend. I was not there, but was told about it afterwards. That is insane. I don't believe that you should have staff working for you that is doing this. If we ever go back, I will confront her if she is there. Crazy!!!!

Really need an adult working when you have a large staff and lots of customers. The kid in charge was mean to the employees and doesn't get it...disappointing to watch.

Absolutely awful. Waited in line for 45 minutes for the jerk at the counter to great us with a "what do you want?" We ordered and he had no idea what he was doing. Started reading the sign to look at the ingredients. In the middle of making mine, he left for 5 minutes with no warning or explanation of where he went. He returned, finished my melted ice cream and then literally threw my ice cream at me---so much so that the dish slid across the counter. Which is great because I ordered it in a cone. We will never be back!

The only reason this gets a star is for the shear fact I got the order I asked for. When we walked in, it took 5 minutes just to order. The employees were more concerned about their antics behind the counter than even entertaining taking orders from four customers who were ready to get lost in a ice cream dream land. So after my friend orders, they decide to take his ball of ice cream and play a game of "blind catch" without his permission. So the amateur ice cream circus had one employee holding a cup covering her eyes and the other throwing it in the air with hope that if she catches it with her eyes closed, it's for free. Well as you would have guessed it, the all star athlete behind the counter used her shirt as a back board and barely managed to get the ice cream in the cup. They did remake my friends ice cream, but that took another 5 minutes and at the end of 20 minutes I still haven't put in my order and they continue to provide a very sophomoric soap opera. So if you want poor manager efficiency and the budget Barnum and Baileys circus for over priced ice cream.... Come on in. I'm going to get my $6 fancy feast sized ice cream somewhere else.

We bought a back to school cake for our daughter ! Take the time to order your own cake instead of buying the ready to go cakes. It was the jam!

Extremely disappointed, we come in here at least once a week.. me and my boyfriend both ordered love it, his came out heaping and mine clearly came out way under the rim, then the guy decided that I had too much ice cream and threw away at least a scoop full of ice cream.. Other employees saw the problem and continued to ignore it

We have tried to come here twice within two weeks to get a waffle bowl with ice cream in it. The first time we came, the guy behind the counter stated that he didn't feel like getting the waffle maker out of his car...so we didn't get it then. Then tonight, we went in again to get one and yet again there were none. Wouldn't you like to make more money? Yet you're losing it by not making all of the offered items. It's sad that this place has such amazing ice cream, but has horrid workers!

The ice cream is good, but for the price of one scoop, I can buy a tub of ice cream and two or three fixins for the whole family.
