Not changing my rating, but I did go back last night with a small group and the service was a lot better. I tried the matzah meal batter, two of us had the regular batter, and one person ordered the grilled yellowfin tuna steak, rare. We shared the dipping trio, chips, coleslaw, and mushy peas.
The matzah meal isnt something I'd order again as it was denser than I'd like but, to be fair, I think it was as good as you could get from matzah meal! I just missed the airiness of the regular batter
The tuna, again, was ordered rare and served medium. There was a hint of pink if you looked at it from the right angle. Unfortunately with something like tuna, anything above rare really ruins the quality of the fish and dries it out.
The coleslaw, mushy peas, and dipping trip were excellent (the babaganoush was clearly homemade, extra garlicky, and delicious). Chips again were not crispy. I think maybe they single fry them?
Overall, very good, but the chips and overcooking of the tuna steak is disappointing.
