Zeiders American Dream Theater

Zeiders Theater is a really nice and quiet place..perfect for enjoying a show without distractions. The atmosphere is welcoming and the venue itself feels well kept. The only downside I observed is the seating system. Since it’s first-come, first-served, it can be a hassle if you arrive a little late, especially if you’re with a big group and want to sit together. I think it would be so much better if seats were assigned at the time of ticket purchase, like in a cinema, or at least offered as a pre-assigned option. Overall, it’s a great theater, but I do hope they consider updating their seating process in the future.

My husband, son and I went to the Candlelight Concert: Neo-Soul series......oh my goodness gracious!!! IT WAS MAGNIFICENT!!!! The musicians were absolutely amazing..such artistry!!! And the violinist that was the MC for the evening was an absolute darling. She was so comical and just a true delight. And the AMBIANCE.....so dreamy, so pure...I just loved it completely. I am a glitter, sparkle, LED, string lights and candles, kinda girl. We look forward to attending the next concert series ! FEVER....YOU ROCK 💛

Our first time to a Candlelight concert, and we enjoyed the entire experience! The musicians were awesome! The Zeiders American Dream Theater is a very nice venue. We are already planning on going to future concerts!

Theater was beautiful and easy to get in and move around, the concert was just AMAZING. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed ourselves completely. Will be back!

While I have not attended yet, I want to shout out to Deborah, who was phenomenal in providing clear answer to my questions. This is a sign that they really care about their patrons and the experience at their venue. I am definitely going to attend multiple events in 2026 and will update my review with my experience at the shows.

Last night I went to an improv jam session with Plan B Comedy Club. The theater is well lit and seats are comfortable. It was great fun and I felt welcomed. I am handicapped and there is a big flight of steps up to the theater and there is an elevator but it is not well marked. Also there was a great audience participation but for a handicapped person there was no ramp or handrail to get up on stage. It was a wonderful opportunity to see great performers and I will certainly go again.

Wonderful first-time experience with Candlelight show. The venue is clean and modern. The music was wonderful, the speaker engaging, the candles beautiful. The audience members were respectful of others. Ended too quickly. Will definitely attend another Candlelight event in the future.

I came here for my friends ballet recital and the place is amazing! Super clean and the staff was super friendly. I asked about pricing and it does vary depending on what you need, but overall if you need to host an event, this place is perfect!!

This place is pretty friggin' cool! I can't tell you enough good things about how much the staff went above - both food, and the bar - and beyond to make sure we had a successful event - not to mention the space itself is intimate, but still spacious. There are no bad seats in the main room - I promise you that!

This is a wonderful space in the Va Beach Towne Center offering drinks and entertainment. They have an ambitious program that offers new works, an improve and sketch comedy group, a Cabaret series, new artists performances, drag shows and solo and group performances. This is perfect for dinner and a show. Most shows run an hour. Try it out!

I saw Kishi Bashi perform here with my lady this past month during the Proteus Festival. It's a small venue with stadium seating but better. The acoustics were pretty good and you'll have a good view of the stage as the seating and rows are steep meaning you will not be looking over anyone's shoulder. Overall, the concert venue and the concert were a good first experience (for bot the venue and artist).

I visited this venue for the first time this evening. My wife and I who are handicap saw Lesson Plans to Late Night which was a very good show. I was able to get seats to accommodate our disabilities. We had easy access in and out of our seats. I would give this venue a higher score but for some reason it was built without public access to elevators for the handicap within the venue. You must use two elevators which I am told are not the responsibility of the venue. At the end of the show both of these elevators were broken. My wife and I had to walk a considerable distance to access elevators near the Cosmopolitan Apartments. This venue needs to install elevators within their structure and/or conduct maintenance to ensure the elevators outside the venue are properly functioning before opening. It is a basic requirement to provide reasonable accommodations to the handicap. Unfortunately this venue failed to ensure working elevators were in not in place.
