"Nevis Peak, the towering bulge rising from the middle of the island, can be hiked alone or with a guide. If you’d rather explore with a professional, go with Lynell E. Liburd of Sunrise Tours. He’ll lead you on a strenuous hike to the summit, pointing out indigenous plant and animal species along the way."
The path is pretty steep BUT easy to find, the forest and the view are stunning, and we saw hummingbirds at top ⛰️

3 miles round trip from the car park to the peak. Much of the climb you need ropes to pull you up.
Take plenty of water

Nevis peak is still an active volcano, though there are no recorded eruptions. The top is often covered by clouds which make the trail wet, humid, and slippery.

Nevis the sister island to St kitts in the Caribbean is very much worth visiting. There are lots to see and do but a hike to the Nevis Peak is a + 👍
