We had a wonderful experience dining here! The food was delicious and beautifully presented — the chicken fire crackers were very tasty, the Mongolian beef was excellent, and the steak was perfectly juicy. Our waiter, Elgun, provided outstanding service and truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. He was attentive, friendly, and added such a thoughtful touch by surprising us with a candle on the dessert for my birthday. We enjoyed a chocolate peanut butter cup that was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant for both the amazing food and the exceptional hospitality.

Char Q — the restaurant that makes you realize two things immediately: (1) you definitely should’ve worn a nicer jacket, and (2) you’re about to spend more money than planned, but it’s fine because the food is mamash next-level. I’ve been here a few times already, and every single time I walk in, I get that same feeling of, “Ah, so THIS is where the serious people eat.” You sit down, open the menu, and before you even order, your yetzer hara whispers, “Don’t worry, you’ll figure out how to pay later.” THE VIBE Char Q has that perfect balance of classy, calm, and “if one more bochur takes pictures of his steak for WhatsApp Status, they’re going to revoke his reservation privileges.” The waiters glide around like they’re trained for Shabbos mode — quiet, smooth, always appearing exactly when you need them. And the view? You’re overlooking a golf course, pretending you know anything about golf, nodding like, “Yes, yes, very professional grass.” THE EXPERIENCE Everything here feels upgraded: The water cups The napkins The tables The chairs Even the air feels like it costs extra And when your food comes out sizzling, flaming, smoking, or otherwise doing a shtick — you feel like maybe you, too, deserve something fancy once in a while. Located on a gorgeous golf course with large windows, where you can see beautiful sun-setting scenery. Elgun was the best waiter! Literally everything he recommended was delicious! We got a gorgeous bottle of wine. This was literally one of the most delicious restaurants I’ve been to. As seen in picture, Elgon recommended the cauliflower dish. The cauliflower was beyond delicious. It was so crunchy and flavorful with peanuts. This was one of the most delicious cauliflower dishes I’ve ever had and the portion was nice and big. We also got the chicken poppers, which were delicious as well. (in photo the bigger plate was the cauliflower and the smaller one was the chicken poppers.) Elgun also recommended this delicious meat rissoto. It was beyondd amazing, the meat was so soft and the flavors were there! We also got truffle fries and they had such a good amount of truffle flavor, i loved them! And we got the peanut butter chocolate cup for dessert! This place had such delicioussss food, highly recommend!!

Never disappoints! Wait staff. Friendly and aim to please. Pleasant. Asked for a red wine. Perfection. Ordered the wet Tomahawk steak. Perfection Dry tomahawk. Perfection (from previous time) Their salads. Perfection. Appetizers. Perfection. Nothing you order will disappoint.

I was recommended this restaurant by friends in the area and let me tell you, they didn’t disappoint. The food was so tasty, and the sushi was the gem for me, I had my first raw sushi experience and it was delicious. I The staff were friendly, the food was fresh, everything nice and clean and the service amazing. I will definitely come back here again when I’m in town next time. I highly recommend the Sofia Roll, Mongolian beef, the Branzino WOW, and the boneless ribeye was was cooked to perfection and tender 🤤 Thank you Allen!!

I would of given them 6 stars if possible! They truly go the extra mile in service. The food was exceptional and so fresh!! The decor and atmosphere created a mood and vibe that made the experience a night to remember. We will definitely be back!

I loved the food Bessi was our waiter and he was amzing!! He super attentive and so helpful and funny. The service is sooo quick and courses are spaced out perfectly i took my family here and definitely will bring them back!!

We went to Char Q to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Beautiful atmosphere , food & cocktails are amazing

Full of potential but meal definitely fell short. The wine list is unimpressive So many amazing kosher wines on the market and for the price of the food the wine list should match. They also didn't refill our wine glasses when empty and left us to pour our own (not sure if this was a kosher thing). Glasses should be refilled when empty (especially at this price point). The appetizers were all decent (nothing stand out). I got the dry aged tomahawk and while the steak was cooked to my desired temperature (med rare) there was no crust or browning on the meat. It's a shame because it would have taken the steak from just ok to delicious. I also got a bit frustrated conversing with the waitress, I was asking about specifics on the different meat cuts and she didn't really have any knowledge of meat (or food). I also asked if I could select a certain rib / request a steak with a larger cap and she didn't understand the ask. My friend ordered the bronzino and asked if it could be deboned by the chef or waiter. The waitress was confused by the request and replied with " bronzino is a fish not a steak, it has bones" ... for the caliber of restaurant they're trying to be, deboning a fish for a customer should be an easy (and understood) ask. My other friend ordered the fillet. Cooked to his desired temp but needed a bit more seasoning (salt). I enjoyed the meal overall but for $600+ for a group of 3 I think it should be better.

This is the rudest place I've ever seen! They just lost a very good customer!!! We were 4 minutes early, with a party of 4, and we were told we'd be seated and then the Maître d' said I'm sorry we're not open yet, you'll have to leave, we were going to sit at the bar, and were rudely told, "I'm sorry but we're not open yet, you can't stay." So we walked out!! Please inform the Maneger that the staff needs to be taught better mannerisms!

The event held at your restaurant yesterday refuses to pay for their piano rental. Is the restaurant allowing this fraud to happen?

Nicest kosher steakhouse in NJ, the service from the minute you walk is is excellent once they seat you you have a view of a golf course that has tall large windows for light to come in. Waiters go out of there way to please you. The food is great and tasty. Bill was average $100 a person+.
