I just had the most amazing prenatal massage at Great Jones Spa today with Evie! I’ve been to a lot of different spas throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn and Great Jones Spa has definitely been my favorite place to go to for both of my pregnancies because of how comfortable they set you up from your first to your third trimester. In the massage room, they give you large fluffy pillows to hug on a heated bed, and they have the most knowledgeable prenatal therapists who spend time asking how your body is feeling and where you need extra focus on. Evie always applies the exact amount of deep pressure I need, unlike a lot of other spas are afraid to apply too much pressure when you are pregnant. I highly recommend Great Jones Spa for their massages, whether you are pregnant or not they have a talented team of massage therapists!

Amazing experience at Great Jones Spa. Facilities are very clean and recently renovated. Nick's massage was next-level---- easily one of the best I've had. Super professional and dialed in. The water lounge is also a huge plus. Highly recommend.

The best place to relax in NoHo! | had an amazing spa day experience. The space is super clean and well organized, with a great sauna (around 180°F) and a steam room. The crowd is nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The front desk team is super polite, and the cleaning attendants are always around keeping everything spotless. The plunge pool temperature is perfect. Special thanks to the super professional manager, Inga, who truly goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been coming here since 2008 🙈 maybe even earlier. You are a real New Yorker when you go here on a weekday. 10-3pm is the sweet spot. The sauna is legit the best one in nyc. The cold plunge -back and forth - with a massage will set you right.

Truly wonderful experience at Great Jones Spa! Fabulous location, incredible staff, and a relaxing getaway from the chilly NYC winter. As a disclaimer, I did not receive a service during my time visiting the spa. I paid $70 for the water lounge which includes cold plunge, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. It's in a nice atmosphere to relax in for two hours with complimentary tea and light snacks. It was My first time doing a true cold plunge and I absolutely loved it. The sauna is perfectly hot and the jacuzzi is a nice place to unwind. I will say that booking this in the morning is the move! I had ample space to myself but it does get busier as you move into the afternoon. Compared to other day spas I've been to, this doesn't really scream luxury / sanctuary, but I feel it's reasonable for the price. A massive shoutout to the staff here who let me stow my bag while I went and grabbed lunch. Overall, a great clean spa to unwind and relax.

Went for a deep tissue massage with Omar and it was amazing! Perfect pressure, and Omar makes you feel very comfortable. The spa itself is a nice escape from the busy city and the amenities are enjoyable. Went on a Tuesday after work and it wasn't very busy

Alright, I never write reviews but my experience at GJS has compelled me to do so. Let's start with what I liked: -Pretty facilities -The water lounge was great Onto what I didn't: I was given a gift card for GJS and wanted to treat myself to a mani / pedi ahead of my birthday. I arrived on time and was given a brief tour of the facilities by someone at the front desk. My plan was to put my stuff down in a locker, change into a robe, and then head upstairs for my manicure, after which I would grab my book from my locker and relax in the water lounge. Before I could do so, I was intercepted by the nail tech who said she needed to bring me upstairs right then. She told me she was on a *very* tight schedule (not my problem) and that I could leave my stuff upstairs while getting my manicure. I told her I was hoping to change and use the water lounge, to which she replied that she would grab me a robe and I could get changed upstairs. Frankly -- I was uncomfortable with this. I was hoping to organize my locker so I could easily grab my book with damp nails without ruining them, and preferred to have my items locked up. I got changed in the waxing room and when the nail tech returned I told her I really would feel more comfortable putting my stuff in a locker. She was visibly annoyed at me. She then grabbed my hand to look at my nails and said, "Do you even need to get your nails done? These look perfect." Yes, I had polish on my nails, but it was a hastily done home manicure that was chipped -- meant to hold me over until my appointment that Friday. Even if I got my nails done the day prior, it should not matter! I am here for a service. I informed the nail tech that I would be moving forward with my appointment. Again, she seemed annoyed. I put my stuff in a locker and came back up for my appointment. We started with the pedicure, which was fine. I booked the "Coconut Paradise" mani / pedi which included a sugar scrub -- incredibly overpriced as just the scrub bumped the appointment up to $109 before tip. As the nail tech was exfoliating my feet, the metal piece of the tool fell off and skin went *everywhere.* It was really repulsive and because the nail tech was the only person there she just had to leave it. Onto the manicure, which was truly the icing on the cake of this horrible experience. My nails were filed SO oddly -- every nail is a different shape. What's more is that she opted to cut one of my thumbnails but not the other, so they ended up as two completely different lengths. The manicure HURT -- I have never had my nails bent to the degree that they were bent during t his manicure. The polish application was, by far, the worst i have ever had. The nail polish was barely shiny, uneven, and SOOOOOO BUBBLY. I chose OPI brand nailpolish but the tech used some sort of nail hardener underneath and a likely thinned out top coat which may have caused the bubbling. I am not the greatest at doing my own nails, but I genuinely could have done a better job. She then forced me to sit for 20 minutes to dry my nails so that she "doesn't have to redo them" if I "ruin them" by the water lounge. Honey -- they were already ruined. My cuticles were covered in polish as well. Luckily I chose a polish color that I owned a similar color to at home, so i was able to go over the color with that + another layer of topcoat to remove the awful look. I will absolutely not be returning and I recommend you look elsewhere for a manicure.

One of the most overrated spas that I felt like I absolutely wasted my money on. Here's what you need to know: 1. This place is not clean. Dust and dirt everywhere.. which does not make for a relaxing environment. 2. Crowded and people are splashing around. It wasn't peaceful and made it feel like you were at an adult water park. 3. Service was not good. The massage was subpar and it was nowhere near as good as other places nearby or a place in Chinatown. 4. Not worth any of the price tags. You're better off finding something on Groupon or paying up for a high end. Skip it if you can.

I had a great experience here. I came in for a facial, and even though I left in time to arrive 40 minutes before the start of my appointment, I was late due to drastic subway delays caused by events that were widely publicized. The team was super understanding and accommodating, including Kate, the aesthetician who performed my facial. Kate was able to make a few adjustments on the fly to ensure I still got the full experience despite the shortened time frame. She was great about explaining everything she did and the science behind it after I asked her to do so. I would definitely recommend booking Kate for your facial. I'm not a huge fan of saunas and pools, but I did check out the rest of the spa and it seemed clean and there was only one person enjoying each amenity. I also liked that they offer complimentary tea and snacks. I really liked the locker room, where they offer hair dryers and round brushes to do your hair after your appointment. Overall, I would definitely come back.

I've been here twice and really liked it, the water spa room is really relaxing and they have books there if you want to hang out for a bit. Both facials I've gotten have been great as well. My only complaint is sometimes it's crowded / loud, especially if you go during a weekend when they have a lot of groups. Overall recommend!

We just had the most luxurious day at Great Jones Spa! I had the best massage I have ever had in my life! I also particularly loved the beautiful sauna which was finally hot enough for my taste. So relaxing Thank you Great Jones, I will be back!

My parents got me a giftcard for my 30th and I had a wonderful massage and facial! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the jacuzzi was too cold for my taste. But all in all a great day and I'd come back for sure!

I had a great massage today at Great Jones Spa - I did the deep tissue massage and Luis was amazing! I felt so energized after that. And the whole experience was great as well - the atmoshpere in Great Jones Spa is amazing - and they treat you vey nice. Strongly recommend! :)

I went to Great Jones Spa for my birthday. I had a lot of questions to figure out how it worked before going and the two males I spoke to were very friendly and informative. The female was less helpful- seemed to begrudge the questions and answer in clipped monosyllabic answers. I found out you literally don't need to bring anything to the spa, but a bathing suit is recommended. If you book a treatment you get the water lounge free for two hours. You can also book the water lounge without booking a treatment and I'm not sure of that price. The locker rooms are fully equipped with anything you could possibly need including built-in locks. I had forgotten my brush and they even had clean sanitized brushes available. They give you robes, slippers, and towels. The products were good. The only problem was that the changing room was very dark and it was hard to see the numbers on my lock in order to set it and unlock it. The water lounge was peaceful. It could have used more lounge chairs. They had a nice array of snacks teas, and water. The cold plunge lived up to its name- too cold for me but my friend went fully in and loved it The sauna was very hot, requiring showering before entering. The steam room was just perfect! The jacuzzi was a little tepid- should have cooled off after the steam room before going in. I had a exfoliating treatment with Nick. I had never had one before. Nick was very sensitive and responsive to my body needs. It began with a massage that was quite heavenly. I can't say I really liked the exfoliating treatment. It wasn't relaxing and it didn't give me the results I expected. My skin was dry later in the day rather than smooth and I think they should have emphasized putting lots of lotion on afterwards. They used to do the exfoliating treatment with water so the scrub was rinsed off but they no longer do this so you keep it on and put on your robe and to rinse it off in the shower in the locker room. If you've ever had a Hamam this would be a very disappointing experience. My friend had a facial which she thought was very good and enjoyed. I would definitely go back and try another type of treatment. They certainly are not cheap but with the two hour water lounge included it's a nice splurge on oneself!

Best day of my whole life tbh. Came for the Great Jones Signature massage (hot stones and aromatherapy) and spent a whole afternoon lazing around the dayspa and eating all the little snacks and drinking tea. Been dreaming about my return....

Services are pricey but for the most part they're pretty good however overpriced especially for the amenities - the pools are very small. The hot pool can maybe fit 8 people and the cold plunge 2 people. I like the services but not enough to come back again for what is included

Mildly crowded on a Saturday afternoon but it feels somewhat chill. Pool got crowded but sauna rooms okay. Fresh towels are plentiful and they give a robe and slippers.

I came here to celebrate my birthday belatedly with some relaxation. From the moment I arrived it was disappointing--a cold and unfriendly receptionist who barely showed me around and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. The locker room was packed and hard to access anything with so many people. The line to use the toilet was very long as there are only two toilets. The water area is packed and tiny. People were talking nonstop in the sauna and steam room so it was not relaxing. I waited for my facial where I was told to wait only to realize I was in the wrong spot (the massage section). No one bothered to look for me so by the time I realized on my own it was late. Then the facialist up sold me immediately and convinced me to splurge on a hydrafacial (I was booked for a signature). I relented, which I regret. The results were not impressive and she didn't massage my head or neck (I've never had a facial that didn't include a few minutes of massage). I got no lotion on my hands. The whole thing was not relaxing, extremely expensive and not impressive.

Pretty, aesthetic space but very small. Expected, given that it is in the SoHo area. Found out about this spot when the day pass was $56. However, price increased to $70 (for 2 hours). Compared to other day spas in the city, it is slightly cheaper. However, the communal space is small: one steam room (~117 degrees) one sauna room (~177 degrees), one cold tub, one hot tub. As for the women's locker/shower room, it was also very small: two shower stalls and two bathroom stalls. A bunch of lockers were confined in a space that was approximately 10 ft x 5 ft. Although the space was very small, I must say that they kept up with cleaning up very well. They also kept amenities fully stocked: a fully-stocked tea selection, snacks in wax paper bags (pita chip, walnuts, almonds, veggie straws, and dried cranberries), clementines, and hershey's nugget chocolates. Was nice visiting but I can't for-see myself dropping by just for the day spa again.

We had an incredible experience at GJS! My friend and I had a ladies weekend and came during the day for a facial. We used the amenities prior to getting the facial. They have a steam room, sauna, plunge pool and jacuzzi. We loved alternating between everything. They also has little snacks and beverages. The water pass is included when you purchase a service. The locker room was nice and it had a fresh robe and sandals for us. Our facial was amazing! I ended up getting the deep cleanse which hydrated and gently exfoliated my skin. I also had a short massage as part of the facial. Fantastic experience. The spa wasn't overly crowded. I can't recommend this place enough!

This spa is a fantastic mood-booster! I felt welcomed the moment I stepped inside, and amazing the first step in each of cold plunge, steam room, jacuzzi and sauna. Robes and slippers were provided in the shower-equipped locker rooms, all I had to bring was my bathing suit and everything else was taken care of. Tall fixtures where water ran down made for a soothing ambience, maximizing the serenity and rising cheer as I got into each room/pool. The sauna, my favorite, was set perfectly for an endurable sweat (or shvitz) until I was ready to treat myself to more relaxation. The fellow spa-goers I crossed paths with were so kind and friendly, too. Even the fruit and salty snacks hit the spot for a quick recharge. Just a stupendous time, an oasis that felt right throughout. Thank you to the staff for a well-run operation!

I had a soothing , hydrating facial with Alex. I recommend her very highly. I have dry, "older" skin...and by older I mean 70 years old. Although GJS 's clientele appears to be considerably under fifty, Alex is skilled at treating skin like mine, and I was amazed at how young my skin looked after the treatment. Bonus: she is so gentle I got a good nap in during the appointment. No heavy fragrances and no product sales/ promotions . Thank you Alex. I will be back!

Insanely crowded and noisy. Very hard to relax. Massage was nothing special and felt rushed. Not worth the money.

I received a gift card for this spot and was excited to go. I booked a facial, manicure, and massage. The interior felt dated, and the woman giving me a facial criticized my skin tremendously. Not relaxing at all, and she kept trying to upsell me and charge me for more treatments. I eventually had to give in. The manicurist also tried to upsell me through criticism. The massage was decent but at times had no music which felt awkward. Ultimately, I will not be returning.

I am so happy this place is still in business since I discovered it in the early 2000s. Came back after not having been here in a decade and it is still fantastic. Hot tub, cold plunge, relaxation area with waterfall, sauna + steamroom all superb. Lockers have slightly tricky dial locks but they work and I got used to it. No big deal. Aromatherapy massage was incredible. I have been there twice in past few months and both times in the early afternoon it was never crowded. Yesterday I had the entire pool area to myself for 2 hours. Can't believe this oasis is right here in lower NYC. It's a gem!

Nice Spa. All of the amenities are in or next to one big room. It gets crowded even during the day. Communication to and from the spa could be better.

Disappointed. The "pool area" was overcrowded and there were wet towels everywhere. The only available seats were uncomfortable plastic chairs-- hardly any way to relax. (While paying i heard the receptionist on the phone telling someone they allow people in to just use the pool area-- they don't have to be there for any service.) The massage and facial were ok, but nothing spectacular for the price they charged. The locker room was tiny and tough to move around in.

Excellent experience on a Sunday morning. Signature massage with hot rocks and hot towels was refreshing and thorough. We enjoyed the sauna, steam room, cold pool and hot tub afterwards for about an hour. Facilities were clean and inviting. Waterfalls were suggestions at best but did not matter. Would def return and probably opt for the deep tissue massage and then focus on the steam room and cold pool.

Was given a gift card and booked a hydrafacial. I arrived early to take advantage of the spa . First off the spa itself is very small. Its good for a quick steam or sauna but nothing special. The cold plunge pool was not working and was not very cold. The complimentary snacks that are provided for guests along with water and tea were stale. As for the facial..... the aesthetician had a lovely demeanor but the quality of the facial was subpar. I have had hydrafacials in the past that have left my skin dewy and completely cleansed of any impurities. Usually my skin will look flawless for at least a few weeks. Initially after the facial I was shown the mirror and my skin looking very glowy but the next day upon inspection in natural light I saw that I still had quite a few clogged pores and some new breakouts and as the week progressed my skin looked exactly the same if not worse than it had before the facial. No real improvement for such a costly procedure. Needless to say I will not be going back to Great Jones for a hydra facial anytime soon!

This spa is disappointing in several ways. My wife and I were scheduled for a massage and a facial, respectively. Upon arrival, we gave our names to one of the concierges. He escorted me to the men's locker room. The locker room is not appealing. It felt more like a high school gym locker room than one in a spa. The attendant, who was very polite, leans back against the sink in front of the toilet stalls. Apparently this is where the spa directed him to stand. It guaranties that the experience will not be private. The lockers do not have flip flops or a towel in them. I had to track those down or walk around the spa barefoot. The therapist who administered my facial did a great job but was not waiting for me when the procedure ended. She was busy socializing with a coworker. After a few moments when saw me walking around, she handed me a glass of water. She did not escort me back to the locker room. The spa is multi leveled and it would have been nice to have someone guide me back. Instead, I found my own way carrying my water and personal items up the stairs and back to the men's locker room. I had hoped to shave. Unfortunately, neither of the sinks had hot water so the shave was not possible. I got dressed and walked out of the locker room. I ended up in the spa's offices. One of the staff there pointed the direction to return to the check in station. Though my spa treatment was a gift as the front desk knew, the concierge told me I needed to pay for the service. I asked the concierge to look for the gift certificate. The concierge denied there was one. So, after I made a phone call to track it down, I showed the concierge the certificate order number. The concierge did not apologize for the error. Instead, the concierge just presented me with the bill which I paid for my wife and I. I told the concierge I was not happy and asked to speak to someone about the experience. The concierge told me to email the spa. I asked for a business card with the email address. The concierge could not locate one. I don't blame any of the staff members for their unpleasant service. In my view, management is responsible for ensuring that their staff and the spa facility meets professional standards. From what I can tell, they failed in this endeavor. I won't be returning to this spa.

This spa is the best in NYC. From the moment you walk in, the immaculate experience. The amenities here are above and beyond. I got an amazing Swedish massage and after spent some time in the steam room, the sauna, hot tub, and reading in the lounge. A true 5/5 experience that is a must go

Came here for a Swedish massage (60 Minutes). Massage was great. Very relaxing and the masseuse was accommodating. After the massage, I got to go walk in the sauna area along with the water lounge area. The water lounge area consists of a jacuzzi along with a cold water plunge. They also give complimentary tea and snacks (peanuts, cranberries, sesame sticks, and walnuts). The spa is very clean and definitely recommended.

This place gave me YMCA vibes. My massage started late and wasn't the full 60 min that I paid for. The masseuse was breathing heavily the whole time and kept bumping into the massage table. I woke up the next day with terrible pain in my back and neck. Would not recommend!

Services are good but someone needed to remind the loud group of women that was eat the mixed nuts and drink tea constantly that it's a spa not a bar/restaurant. Overall experience would be better if people were respectful and used their "inside voice"

I was there to get a deep tissue massage, I arrived on time but I had to wait to check - in and 3 front desk persons were busy assisting someone else. It took 10 min to get in but the the massage therapist didn't know my name. And she had to run up to confirm, and I had only 45 min left from 1 hr of my massage. I told the therapist ( Claire) that it's not my responsibility and she had to confirm with her supervisor... In the end I had one hour "deep tissue" massage which was nothing like it. She was just rubbing me, doing some sort of acupressure, without massaging the knotty spots, it was a waste of time and money. I'm glad at least I could use their sauna and cold plunge.

such a shame bc this place used to be a winner but went for a birthday massage yesterday and everything about it was mediocre - the massage therapist, the staff, the facility AND it was inappropriately crowded (my friend said she thought unlawfully, possibly dangerously so). no room in the sauna, the pool area and the locker room area was crowded you couldn't change or move comfortably, let alone in a leisurely - spa like manner. the real kicker is that i told the staff while checking out about my concerns, they couldn't have cared less. it was also wildly overpriced for the quality of service and experience which stinks bc not only am i significantly poorer, my back still aches and im annoyed. never again.

I'm my opinion, This place used to be something special mostly out of lack of better options. Closest place is in the east village and it's disgusting and has been for 40 years . Then new owners bought this place apparently a few years back, or so we were told. The staff was the first change, they used to be courteous and consistent now it seems different staff every week, and for the most part they are rude and not that nice/ especially the manager. Some of the therapists have actually become a little high and mighty, just pompous and kinda full of themselves. I mean, YOU are in the service industry not me I always found that The place is always a little but dirty. Really never smells clean except in the steam room when they spray eucalyptus, And there is always something broken, usually it was the steam room shower. But they don't tell you anything is broken, you just have to find out yourself. They take the money and then no mention that one of their 3 or sometimes 2 of their 3 amenities are down, broken or under repair. Also my HUGE gripe with this place is that They try to trick you at the front desk into over tipping. In a city where a 60 min massage is $45 everywhere they are very expensive. So- a water lounge pass is $60 if you want to just use the lounge and no massage or extra paid services facials etc... A 60 mins massage is $150 AND they make sure to tell you that it includes the water lounge pass so you don't feel like you're getting COMPLETELY ripped off for a $150 massage.. but if you can do simple math- the massage is $90 for 60 mins which is always about 45-50 mins between the therapist using a few mins before and after your massage for a little break, and all of the stopping and going during the massage takes away another several minutes. So I'm considering their massages in my experience to be right around t40 to 45 minute as they seem to waste about 10-15 minutes. You can get a massage anywhere downtown for under $50 and the massage is 60 mins and there are no gaps, it's always a real 60 mins. I digress, A 20% tip would be $18 for a $90 massage , but $20 is reasonable for a good massage more if you prefer. BUT They try to get you to tip $30 or more including the cost of the $60 water lounge pass into the price of the massage. Beware of this tactic. It's kinda cheap. I'm guessing the new ownership is taking more money from the therapists and trying to get the customer to cover the difference. Lastly, A while ago (pre-COVID) I saw a guy knock over a vase with a couple fake flowers in it, harmless enough right?!?! No, It was glass!! Shattered and went all over the place. We were told by staff that the owner's wife put a glass vase in the lounge as part of her brilliant redecorating ideas. The drinking glasses are plastic for a reason uggg... wow.. people are brainless. maybe it should have been a fake vase with real flowers. Just plain idiotic. I'm only writing this review now because this place is asking for VAX cards for the past several months. I mean, I went there MANY times during COVID when they were open with people that did not have vax cards or weren't asked for them. Now it's a thing, post COVID. More nonsense. We used to go once a week or at least 2 times a month. now we don't go at all out of spite because they are discriminating against customers who don't want to show or are without vax cards. So all 6 of us will not go back until all people are welcome, just like every other place of business in the city . It's their right apparently to do so, so it's our right not to go. Someone please open someplace similar and give us another option.

I love this place so much. NYC has its fair share of Russian style banyas (miss you, Russian Turkish!) and fancy spas (hi, Aire!) but GJS hits the sweet spot between the two - relaxed and affordable enough to make a trip there a semi-regular thing, but clean and well-appointed with enough spa amenities to make it feel like a treat. I love relaxing in the water lounge - the constantly-replenished rotation of little snacks like raw almonds, pretzels and tangerines is a nice touch. The sauna, steamroom and cold plunge could all be a bit more extreme, temperature wise, but this is coming from a Russian woman who LOVES an ice-cold plunge and a blistering hot sauna, so YMMV. Lastly, shoutout to my girl Cheryl, who gives a facial that's so excellent that I've started seeing her on a monthly basis. I've done the basic and fancier facials w her, and I'm always left with a glow that lasts for days if not weeks after.

You only need to know one name. Jennifer. I was working in the city for a month and injured my back working. Jennifer worked on me and it was just such a delight. Talked me through what she was working on and why - but not too much talking like I was ever bothered by it. So informative. Really listened and helped me with a purpose. I made a second appointment before leaving and was pretty disappointed my schedule couldn't link up with hers again. The receptionists were not too informative with the business hours when I called to make my second appointment. So I had to reschedule 3 times which was annoying but I would go back to see Jennifer any time the opportunity presents it's self again.

Worst service! Very horrible massage by a therapist that made rude comments and continued to tell me I have problems with my body muscles instead of letting me relax. No one bothered to ask how my service was so hear you go. It was terrible and I won't come back.

This is my go-to city spa. It has been for years. The massages are great and you can relax in the large hot tub and the saunas after. Wonderful on a cold NY day because you can really escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Love it here.

The jacuzzi was a bit dirty I didn't think this place was well kept. Also the sauna was almost unbearable hot to sit down because irs all stones and only wood in the sitting area.

I've been coming to this Spa for about 8 years. It is hands-down one of the best Spas in the NYC area. Their massage therapists are very knowledgeable, kind and caring. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. The place is always clean and spotless. The sauna room, steam room and water lounge area are all top notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Unique space for a spa in the city! The draw for me was the pools and while small the idea is nice and they weren't overcrowded. It's relaxing enough but still feels comfortable to chat with friends and enjoy sunshine through the skylight. All of the employees were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were nice enough. The massage was good- nothing noteworthy- but I'd go back again for the atmosphere in the pool area.

Good value for the price. I came to Great Jones for a massage, the facilities are clean and the staff is attendant and friendly. They don't try to up-charge services either which I appreciated. Make sure to arrive early for you service so you can take advantage of the steam room and pools

Went for a facial and tried the sauna/steam room. Great experience and place was so well kept and clean and supplied with refreshments/snacks and towels. My aesthetician K. had such a soothing voice and very professional. Staff was very helpful. Will come back

Beware - they will upgrade your service without telling you. I was booked for a signature facial. When I went in the room, first of all it was pitch black and very hard to see. The esthetician said the facial I booked was customized to my skincare needs, and said she felt I'd benefit from a hydrafacial. I was going to say no, and she said the facial is "only $130". I said fine. It was a horrible facial. I have suction cup marks all over my hair line and bruising/broken blood vessels under my eye. The massage portion of the facial lasted maybe 2-3 min and I'd hardly call it a massage. She placed a sopping wet sheet mask on my face and we just sat there for maybe 10 min. No hands on or anything, just sitting there. When the facial was done, I had product all over my face that wasn't completely rubbed in to my skin, and the SPF was pilling all over. I went to the front desk to confirm the price and they said $240! I was there with a bachelorette party, so I decided to email them later to complain about my poor treatment. After reaching out to them via email with no response, I called 2 days later. They told me, "we forwarded it to our manager but it's like...a Monday? So like, they have to investigate and get back to you". Once the emailed back, they basically told me it was my fault, I must've misheard as they would never quote that price, they can give me 20% off, and that they'd waited for me that day to talk with me. When I checked out that day no one had mentioned anything to me, so that is a lie. I followed up to that email saying I didn't think 20% was worth it, and felt I should be charged the original price I booked for as I was upgraded without anyone telling me it was an upgrade. No response. I called the next day and they told me this person wasn't even the "real manager" and they'd forward it to their esthetician manager. No response. Called later to speak w the original manager to which again they blamed me, told me they'd give me $50 back, and there was nothing more they can do. This place is a scam.
