Screaming Beans

Great coffee and atmosphere! I ordered a cappuccino and it was good except the milk steaming (not the best). The pattern turned into bubbles pretty quickly as shown in the video. I regret not purchasing beans from there to try at home.

The cafe is small and the service is ok; good coffee and nice savoury and sweet options, on the pricier end but that is Amsterdam center, so understandable. I think they have potential to do much better so I will support them by going there. The atmosphere inside could be more cozy by adding some flowers or candles on the tables; it felt like a back storage where were sitting. The coffee is good; I had cappuccino with oatmilk which was made very nicely; I was surprised actually with how well the milk foam was. The service could be better; we were asked to sit so they take our order, but it took so long for them to come to us.

Very tasty coffee and sandwiches and cakes in the centre of Amsterdam. Close to the canals and the lovely shopping streets. Screaming Beans serves very freshly ground and delicious coffee. Grab a bar stool facing the street by the big window. Amazing place!

An excellent specialty coffee shop! The seating outside in the sun is perfect for enjoying a coffee while soaking up the atmosphere. The coffee was fantastic — well prepared and full of flavor. I had a cardamom pastry which could have used a bit more filling, as it was a little dry and there were only traces of it, but it was still okay. The staff was extremely kind and polite. Overall, definitely a recommendation!

Cosy little boutique coffee shop in the centre of Amsterdam. It's Friday lunch time and the place is packed which we thought indicates it must be good which it was! Cappuccino and the small treat we had was great. Service was great too! Highly recommended.

LOVED the VIBE and the exceptionally friendly service at this hipster coffee shop. The location on Runstraat is perfect for people watching on a busy street. The barista made the latte to perfection while the small cafe continuously filled with interesting guests. Absolutely delicious and delightful way to spend some time reading the local newspaper and relaxing.
