Lots of parking with handicap parking and access. The front desk assistants were great. They provided information and escorted us to the check in desk. The receptionist was very pleasant, patient and helpful with the questionaire. The seating area was comfortable and relaxing. When the forms were completed the assistant escorted us on the elevator to the doctors' waiting area which was also pleasant and comfortable. There are restrooms on each floor. The library is located on the first floor. There is a cafe in the atrium on the ground floor with outdoor seating. When we exited the building the assistant handed me a long stem carnation which was a nice surprise and caring gesture.

The best movement specialist, Dr Mari. I came to Dr Mari after I requested a second opinion after seeing a horrible movement specialist at LV neurology. Dr Mari sat with me and my husband for 45 min listening to my concerns and getting an understanding of my symptoms. He was so informative and explained everything in detail. Secondly, I reached out to Dr Mari about some prescription changes that my neurologist at LV neurology wanted me to do. He wrote back in such detail and explained his opinion on the prescription changes. I know he took his time writing the message to make sure I understood. I decided to go with Dr Mari for everything since I really don’t need a separate neurologist. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient since 2013 Wonderful place, wonderful doctors. Horrible financial department, no financial assistance for Nevada patients. Unfortunately, here in Vegas, you are not going to find more qualified neuro specialists than here at Cleveland Clinic. Be prepared , if they don’t work with your insurance, it will become a financial burden that adds to the already overwhelming stress one deals with when having a chronic condition such as MS that requires revolving appointments and procedures

My husband has been going to Cleveland Clinic for years. He was always seen by the Doctor once a year until about two years ago. Now we are told that he only sees the Doctor once or twice and from then on its their assistants. In the past 2 years he has had to wait 6 months or more before being seen. To make matters worse they keep calling to cancel the appointment and reschedule at a later date several more months out. The last time they only a had phone appointment available within the next 3 months so we took it only to sit by the phone with no call. When we called to see Why we weren't called the notes said a voicemail was left. I called my voicemail while on the phone with scheduling and there was no voicemail. It's September 2025 and the earliest appointment we could get is May 2026. In my opinion they are too short staffed to provide adequate care to their patients. They are supposed to be a piller of the community and one of the best in the Valley, but they seem more interested in bringing in new patients rather than keeping enough staff on hand to service their current patients. I do want to say that the staff we do get to see have been very good especially in Physical therapy and speach and occupational therapy.

My comments are only related to the building and not the clinic. If you are a fan of Gehry's you will love this structure. As with his other 'crumpled paper' designs the building looks different from every angle. The Gehry part of the clinic is just a meeting space and the doors are usually unlocked by 10:00 in the morning. There is also a small park on the north side of the building with a Gehry sculpture. Also make sure to visit the park across the street next to the pyramid.

This was our first visit. We are very happy with the reception and our doctor. Update: their followup is amazing. They are so proactive.

It's not the great Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, it is much smaller but it does a very good job in the Vegas area. Besides their excellent staff they offer many opportunities to address Neurological issues better than the other Neurological local facilities that we have tried and left for many reason.

To the other review that said they left this place "crushed", I'm glad I'm not the only one. My Dr couldn't even pretend to care about helping me. Everything I said was dumb and her answers were hostile. If you call Ohio to complain, they didn't pretend to care either. Yes, a giant heart break. Waste of time, money and a huge kick to my spirit in general. I actually thought I was going to get exceptional care. What I got was a joke.

One star only because zero isn't allowed. As many reviewers have said already, this place is all performance, no substance. Beautiful building, friendly lobby volunteers, polished presentation--but nothing beneath the surface. Like many others, I waited years for the chance to be seen at Cleveland Clinic, believing it was the gold standard. My mother always wanted to come here for her own brain health, but she couldn't afford it. So when I finally made it, with top-tier insurance, I expected real care. Instead, I paid an additional $600 out-of-pocket for a single consultation--where nothing meaningful was done. The doctor, Dr. Bernick, did not order follow-ups or further testing. He did what every incurious neurologist does: prescribed a stimulant and walked away. And worse? His office never followed through on submitting the prior authorization, so the pharmacy billed me $800 rather than $8. Several months later and this task was never completed. To anyone reading this who feels crushed after going here--wondering, "If this is the best, what hope do I have?"--please go to Clinical Neurology Specialists. Dr. Panduranga is great. Sometimes "world-class" is hidden in a modest office plaza. As far as Cleveland Clinic goes, this emperor has no clothes. I'm truly heartbroken reading the other 1 star reviews. I'm lucky I'm young enough to find help but for our seniors who are suffering with serious life altering brain degradation and who might be navigating this alone? Brings tears to my eyes.

EXCELLENT customer service, scheduling and my first visit! Dr. Ulep is the doctor I met with for consultation and evaluation. She did a cognitive test and physical examination. She thoroughly explained her notes and reasons for certain tests, which she sent her team about 30 minutes afterwards! She was nice and soft spoken. Scheduling bumped my appointment my original appointment ONE MONTH in advance! I didn't request it, They Offered it! Also, Patsy from Scheduling Did Not waste Anytime. 6 days after seeing Dr. Ulep, she called to schedule Immediate Brain Diagnostics PET scan and DaTscans. Dr. Ulep has referred me to Dr. Zoltan Mari, neurologist who is also the Director of Movement Disorders! Scheduling tried to move up the appointment, but due to sleeping in the Early morning before 7am on a Saturday. I was not able to reply in the timed date offer which expired 2 hours later. I read my texts at 9:30 a.m. I live on PDT. However, I was REASSURED that they will keep offering me earlier dates when available. CLEVELAND CLINIC GETS = 10 GOLD STARS

I was recommended to a specific Doctor by a friend, Charles Bernick, for my wife. We made an appointment with him, which culminated in 1 1/2 visits. Subsequently, I can not get appointments with him for all follow-ups.

Dr. Hersh diagnosed my autoimmune disease when every other doctor in NV couldn't do it in the past 4 years. I'm so thankful for her and all of the nurses that work here. I got my blood taken, and for the first time in my life I didn't get dizzy or pass out. Outstanding experience.

Impossible to get in person follow-ups for Parkinsons. It has taken almost 2 years to get an in person follow-up scheduled. The facility is severely understaffed and is not capable of servicing Las Vegas. The next closest place for care is The MAYO Clinic in Phoenix.

This is NOT a medical review. I'm sure the work they do here is wonderful. By the grace of God, I am able to review this place only based on the fact that it is one of the most amazing buildings in Las Vegas... and possibly one of the most incredible in the US. In addition to the main structure - which is unbelievably beautiful... there are also little seating areas centered around more gorgeous pieces of art. This Frank Gehry masterpiece is so worth a visit if you're an architecture fan. I'm a Gehry groupie... and I walked around in absolute awe of this work. Gehry has created this breathtaking structure and several little parklets that honor the patients and medical staff. I recognize this is a medical facility. But it must also be acknowledged that this is a work of art. The staff is not unfriendly to the architecture fans that show up... just be respectful. When I look at the pictures... I'm still knocked out. This is genius working at its highest level.

Thank God for Cleveland Clinic ! The Dodgers are amazing and the care I've received since my MS diagnosis is unmatched. I am able to email my when I have a question or a problem and somebody always gets back to me within the hour. I am on a new drug that at Cleveland Clinic and it has been very wonderful. I know I'm in the best place possible for a person with MS.

I have had MS for 29 years. I have seen many neurologist and been at many hospitals. Living in Las Vegas if you know anything about it here it can be very hard to find a good doctor or a good doctor that sticks around. I was worried about seeing a new neurologist here, however, the Cleveland clinic is far above anything else that I have seen here! Fantastic medical staff, fantastic reception and at least one excellent doctor!!

I made an appointment with Dr. Ritter about three years to address my husband's increasing dementia issues including anger rages, memory loss, anxiousness. Never observed any actual treatment, except for a low level memory test, brain scan, and marriage counseling for 40 year marriage. Now, he is extremely more violent and can barely remember what happened 12 hours before.

This place was recommended to me by my Dr for brain scan found my brain had shrunk slightly .. the scan showed the problem .. this was the beginning of my journey .. Dr was very knowledgeable I had memory loss and confusion over the forgetfulness. The Dr that I started with was great unfortunately he left LasVegas and now is in Arizona .

I just provided information to my Niece in relationship to her father's care. I read some of the reviews and was taken back at some of the anger. One's PCP (Primary Care Provider) is the "hub" of the medical care plan. If one has a burning question I would advise asking their opinion. They have the ability to forward urgent care issues to a specialist. If there is a situation causing pain or distress, by all means go to Urgent Care or a nearby Emergency Room where the situation can be assessed and handled, either by that staff or by sending a patient to their specialist. It troubles me when I see someone has felt neglected or left with unpleasant symptoms when they just did not know how to obtain care. I give FIVE STARS to Lou Ruvo! The front office at Cleveland Clinic did everything in their power to be as uncooperative and unhelpful as they possibly could be, stifling my attempts at a first appointment at every opportunity. I would attribute this in part to their impenetrable referral policy and in part to their very unfriendly staff who are so wrapped up in their bureaucratic red tape that they forget the entire purpose of their office: to help patients and their neurological conditions. Real people with real issues that need medical care, attentiveness and compassion. This office is entirely without any of these qualities, at least at the front office, which is only as far as I could get here. Despite having many doctors in the Vegas location, despite my insurance already covering specialists visits without a referral, they insisted on a referral. Fine, I go see my primary and get the referral. I wait the 10 business days for processing, they don't call back. I call them and they say the referral cites untreatable conditions and I must call my primary back and request a corrected referral. Fine, I do that too. I call back a few days later to check the status. A very rude lady on the phone tells basically infers I'm bothering them and not allowing for their lengthy office review policy and I must wait another 10 business days. Fine. I wait 10 more business day, no call back, no attempt of any kind of correspondence from this office. Meanwhile my conditions go untreated without even the slightest indication there is any interest in my helping. 20 days after that call, I feel hung out to dry, that this clinic is so caught up in their bureaucracy and red tape that my physical struggles are just not even close to a priority. It's possible they have good doctors there but I wouldn't know because of the impenetrable barrier that is their front office which seems to have adopted a culture of absolute apathy. Is a rigorous referral process involving the primary, referrals department, doctors reading second hand info really a better way to determine treatment or lack thereof, rather than actually just seeing the patient face to face and doing an examination?? One of the biggest failures of the American medical system is the lack of empathy, realizing there are real people out there living in fear and pain and having to go through an exhaustive inquisition to see a doctor is just soul crushing and exhausting. A lot of patients just aren't going to have the energy for all that. I would highly recommend to any new patients to just avoid this place altogether. Save yourself the wasted time and effort and frustration and try to find an office that specializes in neurology that acts like they might actually have an interest in caring for patients.

If I could give zero stars I would. All this place cares about is their annual gala and fundraising. Screw the patients is their motto. Things were very different when Dr. Sabbagh was in charge. He cared. He saw the big picture. He gave my husband a diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer's at 58 years old and made sure we were prepared legally and financially. There was a social work team at that time led by Ruth that was a tremendous asset. All that is gone now. After Dr. Sabbagh left all we saw were physician assistants and nurse practitioners. I think there are maybe two MD's left in this place. I tried multiple times to get my husband into clinical trials that they were supposedly running but I was repeatedly ignored or rebuffed. In addition appointments were supposed to occur every 3 to 6 months but were regularly cancelled and rescheduled for months out. My husband had an unexpected turn for the worse 3 weeks ago and when I reached out to his CNP Simrit, I received no response. Further salt in the wound, they deleted his online medical record. My husband is dead and his early death was NO DOUBT exacerbated by the lack of medical care and attention of this institution. Please do not be sucked in by the fancy building or the hype about the Ruvo Center. Find a competent neurologist unaffiliated with this joke of an institution. Don't make the same mistake that I did.

A good facility to bring your loved ones regarding health matters, but don't bother working here. The training is poor, they train you for two weeks and expect you to get everything down within three months. The secretarial pool is small so while you're trying to get your new job down they dump a large volume of work on you. If you make mistakes, they are not specific. They don't care if you have experience because they know that you are easily replaceable. The bulk of the work and nurses staff are gossipy, clicky, and will stab you in the back if you don't get your job down and you don't fit in. Turnover rate is 25%, which is bad. If you must work at Cleveland clinic, move to Cleveland because that's is where the real professional staff is. Word of advice check the turnover rate of any establishment.

Great reputation. When we finally scheduled my wife's first appointment it was January of the new year; six months after her Neurologist's referral. Solid diagnosis but wife could not tolerate first drug so they switched her to Rivastigmine Patch ( Exelon), this was done quickly in response to our phone call. This was the last time we received any prompt response. Contacting Cleveland Clinic for questions/ responses is very, very, problematic. Doctors are aware of scheduling issues but last doctor wanted a 90 day return appt scheduled and assured us that his schedule would be open (appt schedules have never been open into the 3rd month!!), it wasn't open, we couldn't book appt and we left a message for him as instructed... yup, our return appt is 4 Months out.... Exelon has a known side effect of "side pain"... whatever that means... my wife has been experiencing a sharp nerve pain on her side/back for 4 weeks and after six messages left for doctor's team... not one reply... not one! Nice doctors , nice staff, crappy patient support! I will continue to try to communicate with the doctors and staff at Cleveland Clinic but anticipate recording another review that will be pointedly NEGATIVE. Everyone with a family member or themselves who is dealing with Dementia prays for a miracle and is scared to make the clinic upset.... I don't care about feelings... I care about my wife and the failure of their Hippocrates Oath in so far as their care of my wife.

Oct 18, 2022 - This review is on the process to get seen. I hope to update this. I am trying to get my father in for a neurological and brain issue. So far, It is difficult to get in touch with the specialists and I find it peculiar that there are no current reviews. I am now suspect of even continuing to try based off some of these reviews and maybe I may withdraw my application for my dad.

Seriously at this time they are the best place in our area for brain health. Although I feel the clinic has now become more Corporate and Money driven like most other providers I still think it's the best place to get a real diagnosis and real treatment not just another pill shoved into your face to maintain illness. They Have real solutions for coping and sustaining life in the hardest of times regardless of the People at the top trying to make it profit driven rather than care driven.

Family member referred to this location for treatment and still in the early stages but the building itself is very relaxing and warm. The art in the outside of the building is stunning too. The shape of it is so crazy cool that it makes treatment much more bearable.

I am so happy with the services here at Lou Ruvo Clevland Clinic. I am receiving the proper care I need & they have helped me so much by executing everything in a timely manner. Everyone here is so kind & nurturing. I especially like how well they communicate with me as a patient..quickly & efficiently. I definitely recommend this clinic to others seeking professional healthcare services for brain disease.

Went in on June 22th for an initial consultation. Afterwards, I was told they would call me to schedule a pet scan and another test. I was never called and it is not my job to call them to do their job. But they were very quick on texting me a request to rate Dr. Ritter which I ignored since I had only met him the one time.

Is this place still in business? Totally dysfunctional, unorganized, miss managed, no leadership. My wife is a Cleveland Clinic Cleveland patient. We tried to get an appointment here for my wife dementia diagnosis. Could not get past the person who answers the phone. Asked to speak with an administrator twice, no one was available, they were supposed to call us back, week gone by no calls returned. My wife used to go to Cleveland Clinic Urology in Las Vegas, that was mismanaged and now shut down. We have found another neurologist and we are happy. This place is no Cleveland Clinic. Fake

I attended a fundraiser from PBS AND RUVO CENTER. Extremely well done. The setting of the event inside the building was in itself very unique. It was very chic, food was delicious, drinks passed and available. The 1 hour movie was interesting and told me information I did not know. The Speakers were GM of PBS, Director of the Ruvo Center besides several other important people. Nicely nicely done. Great venue for a fundraiser and PBS is really getting well known and out to the public. Accolades to them as well as the amazing work athe Ruvo Center. Loved it.

Larry Ruvo is a Vegas icon and through Southern Wine and Spirits has given much back to the community. Over the years, at various events, we've discussed our love of wine, our Dad's sharing the same first name and sadly, he lost his to the demon which slowly steals mine: Alzheimer's Disease. Hearing about the Center and its Cleveland Clinic affiliation and it finally opening has given hope to many families battling various brain disorders. The Frank Gehry designed building is visually stunning but it is what goes on inside that is most important: top notch pros, research, clinical trials, caregiver support groups, Keep Memory Alive Cafe (Red Velvet outpost) This is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to saving, improving and enhancing lives and I'm so grateful they are here as quality healthcare in Vegas can be difficult to find. Considering the prognosis for those with Alzheimer's, this is a place surprisingly full of hope: for those in early stages to participate in clinical trials; for those of us further in who wish never to have another person suffer the absolutely unfathomably gut wrenching pain of watching your loved one cognitively fade away; for the stranger who becomes a friend because they truly understand your journey; for the Traumatic Brain Injury survivor who makes small improvements daily which add up to huge strides...there are not enough accolades or thanks I can give for this place. It is my sincere hope that nobody needs to use their services, but as a realist, breathe a sigh of relief knowing that others can and will find solace here.

My wife had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Wint. He was very competent, thorough, and understanding. The staff were all pleasant and I understand their need to be. It does get a bit overdone in my perspective. The naming of the Tranquility Room was something I couldn't fathom. It didn't make me anymore tranquil especially with the 24 hour news channel they had on the TV.

My dad was a patient of Dr, Walsh at the Cleveland Clinic. He suffered from Parkinson's Disease. In July of 2016, my dad suffered a fall and a brain bleed. He was hospitalized and emergency surgery was done to stop the bleed. The brain surgeon and other consulting physicians all said that the surgery was relatively minor and it was a success. After a week, my dad still had not regained consciousness. He was only very mildly responsive. However, his hands were shaking violently because he was off his meds. We began to wonder what the effect was of the sudden deprivation of the multiple Parkinson's medications he was taking. We called the Clinic and left an urgent message for Walsh. That message went unanswered. Over the course of the next SIX weeks, I and other family members called the Clinic to reach Walsh no less that TWENTY TIMES! Each time, we could not get past the receptionist. The Cleveland Clinic left my dad to die! We never heard from them, and my dad died in hospice after nearly TWELVE WEEKS of being tortured - poked by needles, having a breathing tube and feeding tube down his throat, and ultimately a tracheotomy. Dad suffered for nearly THREE MONTHS and for what? Because Walsh couldn't pick up the phone on his way to the golf course? On the way to a fancy black tie fundraiser? Or before or after a TV or radio interview??? All we wanted was a consult with Walsh and he did not show my dad the respect, nor my family the respect, that he owed to all of us. If you're a celebrity, I bet it's different. My dad didn't mean to the world what Muhammad Ali did. But he DID mean the world to us -- his family. And now he is gone. So thank you to the Cleveland Clinic and to Walsh. For your lack or caring, lack of courtesy, and lack of respect. You must have no shame. Because if you did, you wouldn't be able to live with yourselves. Go to hell, Walsh. NEVER EVER TAKE A LOVED ONE TO THE CLEVELAND CLINIC. EVER!!!

Im only reviewing the design of the building from the outside and I think it looks very messy and disorganised .. I am a creative person however I believe this type of design looks like the building has fallen down and thus it diminishes my faith in what is going on inside (whether warranted or not).

Lou Ruvo and Cleveland Clinic on La Canada have both served me well. Had an MRI at Lou Ruvo last week and all went well. The techs were caring and competent. Got the job done. The Urology office on La Canada is like no other Dr's office I have been to. The entire staff, Drs, nurses, techs, schedulers, reception are amazingly compassionate, caring, willing to listen and ALWAYS on time. I have had several appts in the last 6 months and have never been in the waiting room for longer than 10 minutes and always see Dr. Slavis very quickly. Glad I was referred to them. EXTREME negligence here. Do not let the name fool you. One might think is THE place to go when you have what appears to be a more complicated type of neurological disease. Or even if you do have something that is easy for doctors to identify you'd think that THIS is the place that's really got it together and will give guidance for what lies ahead. Neither of those things are true. It's really dangerous to go to this place believing that it is the best care you can find in Vegas. If this place stops short of meeting your needs you MUST move on and continue to search for better care, eventually you WILL find it. This place is all for show, it is not of the true high quality you would expect from the name...they go to great lengths to keep up appearances but NOT to actually BE high quality. I have two parts to my story/experience with this place. First is from 2018-2019, I was a CNA caring for a women with severe Alzheimer's and Dementia. Her family BELIEVED this place was the best,yet Cleveland Clinic did not provide them with any info for supportive services that they could seek, and never referred them to a social worker of any kind. The family was clueless, suffering and struggling with NO idea how to cope. One day the lady had an appointment at CC and her medication was changed, I witnessed her deteriorate rapidly immediately upon that change....her doctor at CC couldn't care less...and so the family let it go on to a horrible point. I was confused...and most of it I put blame on the family until I had my own personal experience with CC. NOW I can see how they let her and the family down. Later in 2019 I began to have my own neurological problems. I was hospitalized 2 times because of stroke like symptoms that turned out not to be a stroke, the hospital didn't know what it was but assured me Cleveland Clinic would do many more tests and do a more in-depth diagnostic investigation once I was out of the hospital. By the time I made it to CC I was briefly a lot better after being treated with prednisone for about a month by my GP who did so because he suspected my autoimmune conditions could be the cause. First I saw Dr. Mari(movement specialist)who had his mind made up that since I had improved I only could have "functional neurological disorder"/conversion disorder which meant to him that he should not even bother with any further testing at all. I also saw Dr. Hua(Neuroimmunologist) at CC a couple months after seeing Dr. Mari. By the time that appointment arrived I was worse than I had ever been, getting NO treatment or care the entire time, my mobility severely deteriorated and so did my cognitive function and I was having seizures that my kids were having to help me through. I notified Dr. Mari along the way and he still saw no reason to send me for testing or see me again. Dr. Hua saw that I was in very poor condition and she also somehow saw NO reason to have an EEG or EMG, nor did either of them bother to do any bloodwork for further autoimmune or genetic testing. I am a single mother of two kids nearly finding myself in a wheelchair and these supposed elite "doctors" did literally NOTHING whatsoever to do a diagnostic investigation into what was happening to me. The ONLY thing they ever did was make me wait MONTHS with NO physical therapy as my muscles and ability to ambulate deteriorated more with time. There was NO intervention to make me aware of supportive services available to me, NO referral to a social worker. I eventually walked away from that place and continued to struggle and deteriorate over the past year. My GP has been a godsend and did everything CC should have done. I finally made it to a neurologist that is not dismissive or lazy and saw the importance of doing the diagnostic investigation that Dr. Mari and Dr. Hua SHOULD have done a year ago. If they had done so then I might have had the medical intervention I desperately needed much sooner.

Seeing Dr Hua and Dr Maari . Both amazing Drs . This Clinic is amazing. Everyone is so helpful and professional. My wife is in very good hands . I recommend this clinic 100%. Volunteers there are always so helpful and the physical therapy team is amazing. It's a one stop shop for everything. From bloodwork to MRIs all there . Book an appointment with them , you will not regret.

Do not expect anyone to answer your calls ever. They use a phone tree rather than human operator. Today I left the FOURTH MESSAGE either for my Dr. or his PA for medication refill without which will result in no meds starting tomorrow. . This experience is typical over the 18(?) months I've been seen by Dr. West. Why do I continue to stay with this practice? I ask myself every time my messages are unreturned. The answer is Vegas is an intellectual desert. Dr. West & his PA are knowledgable about the condition for which I'm treated, both in practice and current research. The staff and greeters are lovely in person. Good luck getting a live person to answer or return your calls.

My neurologist Dr. Bernick is now part of the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Bernick is a wonderful dr. He has excellent bedside manner. And most important, he never makes you wait. The longest I have ever waited is 15 mins. My previous neurologist I would be in the waiting room for 3-4 hrs. He was a nice dr, but I quit going there due to the waiting time. My time is just as important as theirs. The staff at the Cleveland Clinic is so professional, kind and sincere. I was impressed with how knowledgeable they all were. Nothing is more frustrating to me than the staffs at dr's office's who do not know what they are talking about.

Someone please help me understand this place. We waited months to get into Cleveland after my husbands neurologist referred him there. They screened us for financial approval to cover the cost of my husbands treatments for Alzheimer's and early onset Dementia. We received a wonderful call one day telling us everything would be covered as our income level fit their requirements. We were so happy we cried. Our first visit here and the neurologist Dr Shi never reviewed his health records or his MRI from his neurologist outside of Cleveland Clinic. We were scrambling to have the lab resend it to them. The neurologist didn't know why we were there and asked why we "think" my husband has Alzheimer's. What? Our former neurologist did an MRI and all of the cognitive tests and studied the MRI and diagnosed him. The only thing this neurologist was willing to do for my husband was put in him in a clinical trial for a new medicine. He said if you do the trial for one year, we will pay for your Pet Scan. I asked what about helping us and guiding us about nutrition, his health, additional blood work anything. He said no...just the trial medicine which has only been tested on rats and 100 people, many of the people in the 100 person test had swelling of the brain. They don't know the long term effects of taking the test medication yet. I begged for some kind of guidance or help. I know there is no cure, but how about guiding us, information about progression, how to care for my husband as the disease makes his life harder etc. He was not willing to run any other tests other than his clinical trial. I understand this is a research facility and they need test subjects BUT....how about additional help and guidance. I felt like we fell in a dark hole and I cried. He said, "oh ok, I will refer a sociologist and have them call you." No new MRI, no blood work (like his original neurologist states he would need, no spinal tap like his original neurologist states he would need, due to seeing fluid in the brain." Why were we sent here and put through all the paperwork, questions just to get in? In the end he offered my husband some medication to take daily that might slow the progression. I have done a ton of research and reading on my own about this disease. While I know there is no cure, there is certainly things this clinic could and should do for him. They sent us on our way and said, "see ya in about 5 months". In our mind we are done with Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Ritter can't get my mother's meds right and she needs them to function. We call for over a week to correct it. Then his nurse, Moneeka, calls and accuses me of screaming when my tone is raised just a little and claims, "I can't help you if you're screaming." You specifically asked both of us to be on the phone, so it's not screaming, it's two people talking over the other, because you can't get the meds right. I explain to her, "I'm not shouting. I'm disappointed and frustrated with your service, because none of you are helping." Moneeka says I can't help you if you're screaming, but you never had any intentions to help or solve the issue. Then she angrily hangs up on us. No matter who you get ahold of, they seem like they hate their job, while they angrily hang up on you every time. My mother is deciding whether to go back or not. The service leaves you so upset, you wonder if it's worth it. Which is sad, due to the fact that my dad and his company literally built the place. It's a nice facility and it's quiet and encouraging to get better, but the people suck. Update: His nurse said it would have to wait until Monday and we would have to come back 2-3 months to fix the mistake. We were just there 1-2 weeks ago. Dr. Ritter has it fixed Friday the day after, we got ahold of them on a Thursday. What Dr. Ritter says/does is a completely different response from his nurse. Appreciate Dr. Ritter but we think he needs a different nurse.

We see Dr. Bernick for a rare genetic and terminal disease. The facility is immaculate. The care is state of the art. Our family member is treated with respect and care. He is currently in a gap of non insurance and the charitable foundation has seen to it that he receives care during this gap. For those who fund raise, donate time or money, we are grateful.

I've been coming here for a few years and couldn't be happier. Dr. Hua and the nurses here are wonderful.

Stopped by for a tour here with my doctor friend whose father is a patient here. Back when I was starting to look for jobs I heard about this place recruiting so it was interesting to see what it has developed into. I would absolutely love to work in a place like this with lots of windows, sunny atmosphere, interesting design space, and a crazy facade by Gehry. One of the research folk (pre med) was nice enough to take us on a tour (their last one of 2012) and it was nice to see how the research and clinic spaces interact. A plus for the patients is beautiful facilities with a lot of art, much of it neurologically themed. There is a beautiful warped melting-wall Gehry style meeting room for special events. An oasis for neurological care, head by quite well known and famous neurologists. I wish we had a building and a medical team like this near me!

The clinic has indeed been recognized -- it received the 2018 excellence award from the Parkinson's Foundation.

We are only rating the architecture and beauty of the building itself. We know nothing of the business of the Center, but if you get to Las Vegas, a walk around the Center is a must! Renee and I visited the area on March 2, 2013, took several photos, and had a lovely time walking this beautiful area of Las Vegas. The building is walking distance from The Las Vegas Experience in downtown Las Vegas and is across the street (Grand Central Parkway) from the Las Vegas World Market Center. Don't leave Las Vegas without seeing it!

I have been coming to the clinic since it opened for my husband. It use to be so warm, inviting and gave the feeling that all there cared about us. I went yesterday and all that is gone. I was really heartbroken to see how it has changed. The indifference and "new rules" have left me with a totally different feeling about the place. SO many people have left Doctors, employees and volunteers. I understand now why. It is so sad that once it was a great place to go for help in all ways and now we are left to feel like unwanted cattle. Please reevaluate your way of treating your patients and the people who are caring for them.

Had my first visit there today! Everyone was so pleasant!! Dr Carrie Hersch was amazing and so sweet! She listened to everything I said and addressed every concern of mine!! Having another neurologist disregard my symptoms; she held my hand and comforted me each step of the way! I'm so thankful there are Drs like her; nurses who were friendly; and staff who greeted us with a smile! I'm especially thankful for the lady who scheduled me; she spent more time with me than my previous neurologist! This world needs more compassionate healthcare providers like the Cleveland clinic has!

I have Multiple Sclerosis and they are the absolute best place I've been to since being diagnosed. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice and my doctor was compassionate and spent over an hour with me

I was referred to this clinic because I had a memory lapse. I was waiting for two months. They kept telling me that my refferal was under review...Just today they refused to help me. Is this really the best brain clinic?

We see Dr. Wint for my mother-n-law. She is dealing with Lewy Body Dementia. He and his staff are very knowledgable and patient. Merena is awesome and actually returns phone calls and just simply a wonderful person. They completely understand the effects it has on her and the whole family. In these dark times they have been a light in this hopeless process.

What a great addition to the Las Vegas Community. This is a lovely facility, I was there for the St. Jude gala, so I didn't receive any treatment, but the reputation of this place is very good. Las Vegas, It's Not Just For Gambling Any More! Live it up, you are in Las Vegas for cryin' out loud!

Great building & staff. From the volunteers to ALL of the staff, doctors & others, very knowledgeable & helpful. They have everything. I go here for Neurological part as well as physical therapy. I CAN'T complain about this business at all.

I have to say the Dr and CNPs are the best part of this facility. My concern is getting in to see them. I am a caregiver of a regular client/patient of Cleveland Clinic. We have stopped going here because you have to go through several departments and fight your way to an appointment, if your lucky. I have had an ongoing issue with the Administrative dept., the financial advocacy dept. and scheduling. All 3 areas do not care or provide care to insure patients are seen and taken care of. It got so bad I had to file complaints and even then the complaint department did nothing to resolve the issue, so I am convinced that the Cleveland Clinic is NOT a healthcare facility. They are an I Don't Care facility who only is interested in sucking up your fee payment three months in advance. In our case, they wouldn't even take our money so that an appointment would be made. They made it so difficult we had to scream, get mad and finally give up on them. There is no way this facility is taking care of patients. If this is happening to us, it is happening to other people as well. Don't bother complaining, writing the Omsbudsman, it will not help. They will sweep your issues under the rug, ignore you and not respond and/or pass the buck back to where the problems are stemming from thus exacerbating the problem. Do yourself a favor and find a good neurologist that actually cares about peoples lives and promoting good health. The Cleveland Clinic is not one of them. They are to big for their britches, I guess. Don't believe everything you see about them be ranked one of the best in the country.

My doctor recommended the Lou Ruvo Center. In June I left 3 messages to schedule an appointment. No one called me back. I waited 3 weeks. On the 4th try someone answered the phone. The only appointment they could give me was 2 months latter in August. I took the appointment which was supposed to be this Friday & I just received a call that they didn't schedule enough time for me so they have to change my appointment until the end of September. One would think in the 2 months I was waiting for this appointment they would have seen there was not enough time scheduled for my appointment. It gets one to thinking how efficient this place is. Maybe I'm better off that they cancelled my appointment.

I hate to say, but I think this is just a place that collects donations and money for someone's pocket. Just looking at the design of the building should have given that clue away. They spent HOW MUCH on the building, when that money could have provided a regular office building for much less and those "expensive DESIGN funds" could have been spent for treatments and good doctors and an actual STAFF to answer phones - then maybe someone could get actual service or an appointment by phone! REALLY! I tried four times to get my father in for diagnosis and treatment. I was told they don't do walk ins, they don't do paperwork you receive and mail back, you cannot just make a first time appointment you have to do an over the phone intake first, so how the frig do you get in? Here's what you do ... you call maybe five to ten times and the call either does not go through, or it does a non-person round robin, or maybe, just maybe, if you're lucky, someone answers the phone. If someone answers the phone, you get choices ... they say they have to call you back (but they don't), they say they have to take your first basic information over the phone (then put you on hold and never come back, or disconnect you), or they take part of the info and get another call, then place you on hold or never come back and never call back. SO ... HOW DO YOU GET IN TO THIS PLACE FOR DIAGNOSIS OR AN APPOINTMENT? Is it just a blatant scam, that takes a patient here and there for the purpose of looking legit? Because I have read reviews saying that people have been seen there and think the care is great. Maybe one of them could contact me and tell me how to get in for a diagnosis for Alzheimer's?
