Tacos & Beer Mi Lindo Mexico

Looking for happy hour options and landed at Tacos and Beer Temecula. The prices were decent. The food was tasty, the drinks were good. Can't beat classic margaritas for $5. Not watered down too! Read that you must sit at the bar for happy hour. Ordered loaded fries, mini taquitos and mini barria tacos. Very tasty. Only thing was the taquitos are overly crunchy. I would go again!

The presentation and food quality is EXCELLENT. Vibe is nice, music perfectly ambient. EVERY SINGLE staff encounter was just.... poor. Like... THE WORST... Queso fundido was perfect .. The tacos are made with fresh ingredients, the aguas were refreshing and so visually beautiful... Shrimp cooked to perfection.... Asad perfect and tender and their refried beans are the BEST 🌟

Service and atmosphere were good. Talk to your server if you have a food allergy, the chief will cook everything separately! All the food was really good but I have had better molcajete. I will be back to try something different 🙂

10/10 Recommend. We went to our favorite spot first and it was CROWDED... to be expected since it was Father's Day. We decided to try some place new, and let me say Tacos and Beer did not disappoint. My mom and I enjoyed some drinks, watched the Dodgers and let tell you the food was AMAZING 🤩 my mom had the three meats fajitas (it can literally feed two people) and I had the enchiladas. It was all so yummy 😋 The music 🎶 was amazing and the atmosphere was great as well. We will definitely visit again.

Overall, my experience at this restaurant was enjoyable. The food was very good and the menu offered some great options. Some dishes felt a bit on the higher-priced side, but the quality was very good. For groups of seven or more, there is an automatic 18% gratuity added, which is helpful to know in advance. One area that could make the experience even better is hospitality. A warmer welcome and friendlier interactions from the host, some of the servers, and management would really elevate the atmosphere. Aside from that, everything else was positive, and I would return again for the food.

Ok, I like this place A LOT. Good music. The food is so good. I’ve only had the calderon de brujas/witches brew and it’s really good. The place is so beautiful, clean. The seafood is prepped in a whole separate section called “Marisco Bar”. Had fish tacos, shrimp tacos, fresh oyster, torre de mariscos, queso fundido and the shrimp dish. Love it!

First time here. Ordered one street taco, mole enchiladas, and wife mixed fajitas. Also ordered a margarita flight as we wanted to try all various flavors. They were generous with their chips and salsa. Salsa was medium. When the salsa bites back a little you know it's good. Street Taco was good and came with a double tortilla and a wedge of line. Mole enchiladas were also yummy 🤤. Good job on the mole! The fajitas were super hot! And stayed hot because they use this thick cat iron plate. Through the whole meal it remained hot and I mean ay ay hot. Great job there. The portions were generous. Price was a bit expensive compared to most. The final bill was $102. For two of us. It was a nice experience and we will be back for more. Once final things. They had loud music going. Too loud. The music was great but my ears were ringing after we left. Turn it down one notch and save some eardrums.

This location brings back so many memories allllll the way back to El Torito many many years ago My wife works at the mall and we constantly kept looking at this place so we finally had a date night a few months ago here and were very impressed We were quickly seated, which was nice... and I wish I wrote down the name of our server cause he was great, too Ordered some rolled tacos and an asada torta... both came out very quickly and super hot and fresh! The chips to start are always a huge plus and the salsa was super yummy The food itself was also really good and had great flavor, no complaints at all except that I wish we had more time to stay before having to go pick up our kids. Usually, when the food is good, the drinks are good too... so would like to come back again soon to give those a shot as well... I like it! Very impressed by this spot

CHICKEN ENMOLADAS 3 Chicken Enchiladas topped with Sweet Mole, Sour Cream, Sliced red Onion, Sesame Seeds and Microgreens. Served with Jasmine Rice and Fried Plantains ENCHILADAS 21 3 Enchiladas with Your Choice of Protein, Red or Green, Served with beans and rice.

Cabeza Taco is 10/10 Bbq Drumsticks was 7/10 Al Pastor Taco 8/10 My favorite thing was 5$ Lime margaritas on happy hour

Came in for lunch and was mad at myself for missing the Brunch ‍I had the Carne Asada plate and chorizo fundido and it was so SATISFYING!! Service was great the place is decorated beautifully! Overall great experience I will be back

Really used to like this place but after tonight we will never return. Walk in at 7:30 with a half empty restaurant to be told it's a 25 minute wait. Wait? For what? Half your restaurant is empty. Terrible customer service and whoever is the manager here is slacking big time. There is plenty of restaurants around the area that want our business so we will go to one of them.

I had the crab cakes Benedict, really good. Crispy, flavorful, and nicely done. Potatoes were solid too, well-seasoned and cooked right. My wife got the conchita French toast. Big serving, sweet but not too sweet, and definitely something different in a good way. Drinks were strong. Like, strong strong. Good flavor, but probably didn't need to go that heavy on the pour for a brunch drink. Service was friendly and everything came out quick, but it would've been nice to be greeted at the door. Just sets a better tone. Overall, food and drinks were good. Would come back. Mr.O approved

Been a minute since our last visit and much has changed, but we really enjoyed the "new" atmosphere. Ordered El Chingon Taco (sliced ribeye, grilled shrimp, guacamole, queso fresco, and cilantro on yellow corn tortillas) from the Specialty Tacos Menu and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This review isn't really for Tacos and Beer since I've already reviewed them several times. As usual, food and ambience were great and I had no complaints. This review is mostly for our waitress, Sahara. She was excellent. I had several questions about the new updates to the restaurant and menu. I can be difficult as a customer, but she was a pro. If I owned a restaurant, I would have offered her a job on the spot and stolen her. I give her 5* on personality and service. T&B I hope you invest in her potential before someone else steals her.

This place has changed so much from the last time I have came here. This place has change to a full service restaurant, no more grabbing your own drinks, and no more looking at the confusing menu and standing there ordering. Came here for a meeting and it's wasn't busy which was great for the time we were there. The place is dark with alcohol bottles everywhere as decor. If you are just using those as decor I would like to drink the contents and give you back empty to place back in your display. The food was great and love the variety with brunch type food, to dinner type food, all served nicely on the plates. Service started out great and I asked which drinks were free refills which I ordered from those. I was disappointed to say i was never offered a refill anytime our server came by, and everytime I remembered she never came around. So really that would be my only gripe about the place for this time that I went. Everyone at my table enjoy their food and the presentation of their food.

Place looks nice BUT! Food is dry/greasy We ordered guacamole with chips but brought us pork grinds instead of tortilla chips. The pork grinds were like styrofoam and greasy and tasted bad. Service was okay. The server was chill but we could tell the other servers weren't doing a good job. Carnitas was dry Salsas taste sour(not authentic) Tortillas are taste bitter

Great place, great food, great drinks, great staff. Happy hour knocked it out of the park. How can you go wrong with tacos and beer.

Food was all very, very good. We had more than 14 of us for a birthday and Diane did an amazing job keeping up with us.

So I don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet as My family and I have been here a few times and came once more since we were in the area this last Sunday. I suppose if I really have to think on it - it must be because nothing truly stood out to me as having to yelp about.. But this time there was a dish that stood out and I therefore wanted to recommend to ya'll! I do want to say I appreciate the fact that they no longer had the walk up counter to order on the restaurant side. I always thought the "fast food" like walk up and "order first" counter took away from the charm of going out to eat at a nice restaurant which this always seemed to be decorated as. However-They are simply covering up the counter with black unsightly "walls" which is another reason my family decided to sit on the bar side once again. It is more lively and has better decor which adds to the overall ambiance. If you have visited before but haven't in a while- know that there have been changes to the menu. The new one is pared down to a simple laminate 2 pager. I remember the old one being more visually appealing and having more options? My kids were disappointed to hear an item they used to order is no*longer available- the Hot Cheetoh elote (corn). They still have it- albeit not the hot cheetoh crumbs as a topping. For this visit- For Drinks I want to note that I appreciated how strong the Margarita flight I ordered was even if I tend to prefer a sweeter more alcohol disguising cocktail. This time I was ok with tasting a little bit more of the liquor than just sweetness that sometimes tends to happen with some margaritas. Made me feel like I got a good bang for my buck with the flight- so to speak lol. As far as my husband's michelada- I have definitely tasted better. For food, My husband ordered the larger size of Aguachile verde. Which I appreciated because it was too much for him and I gladly took it over. This is definitely a plate I would reorder. When tasting- I instantly let out an audible MMM after trying my first bite. The flavor was amazinggg! For myself- I had ordered a ceviche sampler off the appetizers, I figured it was a good way to try several of their ceviches. I wished I hadn't. All I can remember from the overall samples is that they were lacking in the salt/ flavor that I am accustomed to in ceviches. I didnt even finish them, my mother who didnt want them to go to waste had to help me. Needless to say it is not on my reorder list. My kiddos ordered the T&B sushi roll and while it tasted fine to them. I was not a fan. For dessert we tried my moms plate of platano frito with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream as a topping. While the adults liked it, my kids were not fans of the platano itself. I guess you could say its more a texture adult latinos like. Overall- for the ambiance and cocktail drinks alone I would return. As far as the food menu- I feel it is hit or miss usually but I would like to try more things off their newer menu. The new steak section is calling to me. Until next time!

The service, food, and drinks were amazing! The food was quick to come out. The salsa with the chips had a very good taste. My favorite thing was the Constantino Roll. It was so packed with protein and really put some actual sushi restaurants to shame. I will be coming back just for that roll.

Tacos and Beer was pretty solid. I got an al pastor, carne asada, and a shrimp taco. While it doesn't look like it, the shrimp taco was loaded with shrimp. The service was good and the restaurant looks like it would be a fun place on a weekend night.

Five Stars! We had family visiting from out of town and chose Tacos and Beer for a birthday celebration -- and wow, what a great decision! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. A big shoutout to Alina the hostess, who truly went the extra mile. Despite the restaurant being super busy and our party being around 8 people, she rearranged tables and even helped bus one just to make sure we had enough space. She also got our drink orders started while we waited for our server, which really kept things moving smoothly. The food was AMAZING, the drinks were perfect, and the DJ had the whole place vibing -- the music really added to the energy and made the night feel like a celebration. Highly recommend Tacos and Beer for any group gathering or special occasion. We'll definitely be back!

Havnt had a bad experience yet. Birria tacos are great and so is the carne asada plate. The staff seem mostly young, but they get the job done and are nice.

Cocktails here are both gorgeous and delicious! Service was amazing especially for my diet-restricted mother, super nice staff. The vibes were definitely vibing. I need to go back asap for some drinks and tacos!

Food is way overpriced for what it is. I got food poisoning from the Birria tacos too. 4 tacos for $22 and that doesn't even include any sides. Another $4 just for beans and rice on the side. Insane We left a simple lunch out, paying almost $55 for 2 people. Got no alcohol either. Not to mention when I ordered said tacos, the waitress said "onions, cheese, cilantro?" I said no onions.. she failed to mention the cheese was another $2. They need to lower prices substantially and not have so many options on a menu. It's over whelming the amount of different types of food they have. Prefer simple menu Mexican places. Salsa was terrible. Tasted sour and too much onion. Birria tacos were too greasy. The food wasn't anything great. 5/10 at most

Went to this restaurant for the first time. Seated immediately on a Friday night at 6pm. Staff were very attentive and warm. Was served chips and salsa and the salsa was delicious! Fresh and just enough spice. Our server - Sarah was so lovely- made sure we were taken care of and gave great recommendations! Hubby had the carne asada nachos- his staple and enjoyed them. They were a generous portion and had all the typical toppings one would want- beans, pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream. Carne asada was tasty and would definitely order them again! I had the Baja taco ( battered) and the the El chignon taco. The Baja taco had great flavor - but for me it was too fried ( hard even). I probably would go for grilled or shrimp next time. The El chignon taco was delicious- the rib eye and shrimp had a great flavor and the guacamole was a nice touch. Overall a nice first impression of a restaurant we will most likely visit again.

Great fajatias, and carne asada. However it's not a quiet type restaurant. More like a bar atmosphere. But great service, friendly.

A friend of mine recommended this restaurant this morning. My wife and I decided to give it a try. The menu items made it almost impossible to decide what we wanted. Everything sounded so incredible. We ordered food to go on line which is very user friendly. When I arrived at the restaurant, the staff is very friendly and inviting. I was very impressed by the ambiance. The decor is classy and warm. I had received a text message that the food was ready for pick up right on time. The server brought out the food and made me feel like a valued customer. As far as the food goes, my highest compliments to the Chef a cooks. The food was beyond delicious. My wife and I couldn't believe how amazing everything tasted. I would recommend this place to everyone. No doubt we are going to try everything on the menu! They also offer outdoor dining and are PET FRIENDLY. How AWESOME is that!

Wonderful place love the atmosphere . We stopped by for a quick lunch bite to eat. We were met with great service and a menu full of great choices both breakfast and their full menu. I actually ordered a coconut coffee drink, amazing! For lunch I ordered a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy and a quesa taco. My partner order the ceviche, everything was awesome can't wait to come back.

Hello yelpers. I have a new brunch place I tried. I have come to the Temecula promenade several times and always see this big sign that says brunch. I have been to this place before but the set up is different inside. They have made it more into a restaurant. The decor is fun and there is lots of room. Our waitress was extremely nice with a beautiful smile. She came by to check on us constantly. I think this place is known for the great drinks. I had a mimosa flight. There are several flavors to order from. The salsa was basic had a tiny bit of a kick. I ordered the chicken fajita omelet. The presentation was beautiful. It came with my favorite chorizo beans. And a side of potatoes. My son said they were the best potatoes he ever ate. I didn't care for the chicken but the rest was amazing. My son ordered the Nutella crepe. The presentation of his was also very beautiful. However, it is a very sweet dish. If you like sweet then you will love this. But it was way too much sugar for our taste. I definitely recommend this place. It is a bit pricy but it's always worth the price for what you get. I can't wait to come back and try some more drinks and a different dish.

We came in Sunday evening for dinner. Last time we were here the layout was different & customers were able to go up to the counter order & find a seat. They also had the salsa bar & drink station open for customers to get on their own. They changed it to getting seated & having waiters. We ordered the pork bites which were delicious with a sweet & salty flavor. We also ordered the aguachiles & I asked if they could add mango bits. The aguachiles were missing flavor & the shrimp was too chewy. I wouldn't order that again. The torta was a good size but would have liked if they added fries or something else as a side instead of lettuce & pico. The cucumber lime drink was free refills which I liked because I needed something to cool down the spiciness from the aguachiles. Total for the food was about $68. The waiter was nice & welcoming & checked up on us a couple times which I consider great customer service. The place was busy but not overly crowded. Overall, not sure if we would return again as I felt like the food had a better taste before.

Good food, great service (ladies at the bar) tequila selection really BAD, come on guys ,,,,,,you have a beautiful place , great food and amazing service but one of the worst tequila selection I have seen in this city. Please provide zero additive tequilas. (Lalo,Ocho,Don Fulano,Fortaleza etc etc)

We love this place! This our third time here and both the food and service has been exceptional. We were a party of 5 on a Friday night and were seated within 10 mins. Our server greeted us very quickly and took our drink order. After getting our drinks, she took our food order. Everything came out within a timely manner. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable for their large portions. You have to try their fish tacos, potato tacos and Huachinango (red snapper). My friend really enjoyed her ahi salad as well. And we were pleasantly surprised by the large amount of guacamole on the rolled taquitos. Everything was yummy and the service was amazing. All three times we have been here have been great. Thank you!

Great spot for football. I came here with my wife and a few friends. The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The only thing I did not like was that fact that the interior temperature was probably 76 degrees. I can't fault the business too much because the temp was 105 outside. Good spot for sports.

Love it. First time trying it and we decided to cone for brunch. Amazing. Service was excellent and food was great. Most definitely recommend it. The ambiance was very nice and clean which is very important to me. If you walk in to a restaurant and is dirty I usually walk out. But not here clean and very nicely decorated.

Such a fun and good atmosphere. Came here on a Saturday night and Sahara was our server. She was great! Drinks were good, we got Paloma's. The tacos were all loaded and really good. Salsas were all great too! Sahara brought us out 1 of each to try! I lived the red spicy one! I'll definitely be back. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the rice, but the service and everything else being great they deserve a 5*.

Oh m g. I found another one! Now if you know me ya know I live for tacos. Not beer so much anymore but tacos for sure. And this place has been calling my name. I kind of thought ok this is gonna he some run of the mill taco joint with a bar that has 1million tequilas and Margaritas. Like the plaze mexican food place. But it really wasn't. It was super good. I decided against thr tacos (this time) and decided to get an appetizer because it looked good. It was call mariscos something. I can't remember but it didn't disappoint at all. It was down right ahhmazing and tasty. My husband got a carne asada burrito. I know I know. No tacos no beer. But I said next time we will. The place was clean and fun and welcoming. Our server Bella was freaking awesome. That girl needs a raise. Really she was that good. Everyone needs to try this place it's fun

Delicious! Very friendly staff. Only complaints is salsa that comes with tortillas chips is a bit too spicy for kids and my carnitas is always a hit or miss. Delicious but some pieces too hard to eat so half the portion is cut down.

Service was nice and attentive. Ambience it's very decorative with art and colorful. Food was really good i enjoyed it.

This place is very nice inside! Very spacious and plenty of seating inside and outside. The workers are nice and helpful! We went on a Thursday and props to the guy working at the bar! He was the only one making drinks and taking our orders! He needs a raise. I gave it a three because the food was just okay. I felt like my tacos didn't have any flavor. I had to add salsa and ask for extra limes. I was hungry so I ate it all but it wasn't something that I crave and will come back for. Also the menu has a lot going on and it feels overwhelming. I think it needs to be in a different order if that makes sense. To know where to look by category. Their menu at the bar were not the same from the order up wall menu. So I kept having to go up and see what else they had since we sat at the bar.

Good place to spend your Wednesday for dinner. I brought my husband for a dinner birthday, Malik our waiter was amazing. Great customer service. He has a great personality. Thank you Malik You made our first experience with Tacos and Beer a great one.

Food was amazing!!! Drinks were ok but the food omg was 10/10! Got pork belly tacos so good, birria tacos so good, and my boyfriend got a fish burrito which he said was so good as well, just don't understand why the rating is so low.

Love this place. I've been 2X and both times I sat in the bar area at a high top. Lovely wall decor/mural and fantastic service too. Heads up: the portions are HUGE. Each plate can feed 2-3. Loved my chicken taco and would go back just for that alone. And the chips & salsa are absolutely delicious Great Saturday night vibe! Go check it out.

Stopped in tonight for a late night drink with my husband. We have been here once before, also for Happy Hour. We got there about 30 minutes before they closed and were quickly seated. For that time of night, they seemed busier than I would've expected. We had already had dinner, so just wanted a drink. The bar area was laid back, and comfortable with plenty of seating. We had the $5 Margaritas . For $5 they are pretty good. Our friendly sever explained that the $5 margaritas are made with a premade mix, and that the regular house margaritas are $12. We will have to try those next time we visit. I can't review the food since we have yet to try it, but based on the service and Happy Hour specials, we will come back for the food.

Five stars, easy. I had the carne asada burrito and it was packed with flavor -- perfectly grilled meat, great balance of ingredients, and super filling without being too heavy. You can tell everything's made fresh. Also tried the loaded fries with asada and hit the salsa bar -- the green and spicy red salsas were both on point. Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the place was clean. Everything hit just right. I'll definitely be back.

From good to bad. This restaurant was good when it was first opened, however, a few months past and the quality of service and food changed drastically. 1. The menus at the tables have no description of what ingredients the dishes are made with. When we asked about the ingredients, we were told to go and read what is on the displays behind the tills. The whole point of being served at the table is to be able to order while seated. The staff member was unfriendly too. 2. The food we ordered was not good at all. Birria had no flavour and was very salty. The same with chicken in torta. They used to prepare torta with chopped chicken but today I would not be able to tell you what the meat it was. So disappointing.

The food and drinks never disappoint! Excellent service and the ambiance is great. We've been here multiple times and we'll continue to come back. We tried the brunch today and we're very impressed!

My family and I went here for the first time on Saturday for a birthday dinner, and oh my goodness did it exceed our expectations!!! Not only was it a beautiful location, the service was exceptional and the food was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! The plates and servings were gigantic and beautiful. Everybody was extremely pleased with their lunch and we will 100% be back soon.

The food was good, I got the shrimp burrito and felt like it was missing just a little something to make it special, but the monstro burrito with al pastor was sooo delicious I wish I had ordered that for myself. The service was friendly, we went pretty soon after opening (early lunch-time) so it wasn't crowded inside and our waiter was very attentive. Inside of the restaurant had a fun yet cozy vibe

We haven't been there in a while, went today because we used to love the food and drinks. When we noticed the peoples food around us and that the menu was different we left. Just from that quick interaction we can tell it was not going to be the same as before. Definitely miss how it used to be.

Came here on a Tuesday, pretty empty place easy to find a table. Order drinks margaritas which are good and four Al Pastor tacos and churro. The tacos or a little bit on the crunchy side, so not really what I was expecting. There is a salsa bar has several different types of sauces, carrots, and beans. You can pick up yourself. The churros came nice and hot with choice of different flavor sauces. Service was good.
