We had a fabulous evening at Hemingway’s. There were six of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I looked at the reviews before we went, all were really good. I had the chicken penne pasta. It was to die for. My husband had the porterhouse pork chop and loved it. Desserts are a good portion size. Service was exceptional too.

The lobster and shrimp were way overcooked and not seasoned!! We did take out and were very disappointed with our meals!! We picked this restaurant based on a local suggestion and the USA Today accreditation.

Between the six of us, we were in and out of Hemingway's many times over five days. We mostly had breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks, not necessarily in that order. As mentioned, the service is on island time, but once you make that adjustment, if necessary, the service is fine. So is the food. It's a convenient place if you are staying at the Sands, which we did, but the various dishes and drinks we had were as good or better than expected. Beautiful views, right on the beach and next to the pool. Can't wait to go back. Cheers!

Such a great place for dinner. Service is island time so just know you will be hanging out for a while but there is live music which was amazing. The breeze and ocean views are amazing. The food is really really good. I have been here multiple times over the last three years. One of the highlights of each trip.

Beautiful view overlooking the ocean especially at sunset. We arrived late afternoon and ordered from the lunch menu which for those who like to eat a little early (5ish), you can save a few dollars. I had the fish and chips which were excellent. Crispy coating and flaky fish inside, just the way that I like it. My family had the Conch Fritters which were also very good.

We celebrated our 28th anniversary tonight, our whole evening was perfection. It was a perfect evening to sit on the deck. We loved the beef tips appetizer. For dinner, we both had the grouper, it was delicious. After our meal, our waitress surprised us with key lime pie for our anniversary dessert.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Pina colada was tasty. Papa Burger was NOT 8 oz, more like 4. Asked for medium; it came out late, after my partner's meal, and very well done and dry. My partner had fish and chips. Tasty. Service was slow. View was spectacular.

Food was great, but menu is limited, not many options. Pricing was average for restaurants here, I had shrip and vegetables-- Very very good plate! Didn't get pictures of food but we had a good sunset. Unfortunately there are these 2 big massive trees that really block the deck view so had to walk to edge of restaurant deck to get this photo
