M&M Barbeque Catering and Takeout

If you’re craving classic BBQ, M&M delivers. It is worth a long drive, traffic, and a wait. We ordered a ½ lb of BBQ chicken and the 5-piece leg dinner paired with hush puppies, mac & cheese, potato salad, and baked beans. BBQ Chicken tasted smoky and tender. No dry bites here. The sauce? Bold and tangy with a slight heat. The chicken legs were juicy and flavorful. Mac & Cheese: Creamy but not too cheesy. Potato Salad: Perfectly creamy and balanced with a hint of mustard and crunch from celery. Baked Beans: Sweet, smoky, and slightly peppery. You can taste the simmered-in flavor, not the canned shortcut. Hush Puppies: Golden nuggets of joy. Crisp outside, soft and airy inside, with a slight sweetness that pairs well with the BBQ. M&M BBQ is hearty and deeply satisfying. The portions are generous, the flavor is bold, and it’s clear they know their way around a smoker.

Delicious, quick and easy. The amount of food you get is awesome and more then what you pay for. I had a large pork sandwich and baked beans. Came out quick and there was so much meat has to dig to find the bottom bun. They also are heavy on the sauce which is perfect for me. Will for sure be back. Thank you!

I got meatloaf for $11 and the brisket dinner for $16 the brisket dinner WAS NOT even brisket it WAS ROAST BEEF!! The meatloaf had no flavor just a chunk of meat with little onions. The mac & cheese was some off brand cheese i dont even have words to describe how it taste. The beans are canned the fried cabbage was sooo salty, the hot sauce/bbq sauce doesn’t even pair well with the meals. In total it was $29.72 i have no clue why these people think we dont know the difference between BRISKET and ROAST BEEF lol this world is crazyyyyy!! I reget this stop so much just wasted a 30 min drive and $30! NEVER COME HERE please read the RECENT comments!!!

I do not understand what other reviewers are raving about. I purchased a rack of ribs and the combo plate with chicken, brisket, pork and ribs and all of it was dry, overcooked and flavorless. It tasted like it was only seasoned with salt and pepper and was left on the smoker too long.

Let me tell you--M&M BBQ has to be the best place to get barbecue in Knoxville. This quaint, hole-in-the-wall, family-owned spot is absolutely worth the drive. It's take-out only, not a sit-down restaurant, but the food more than makes up for it. And if you need food for an event, they also offer catering. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Family owned and loved and you can taste it in the quality of the food. Aside from the obvious delicious BBQ staples like ribs, brisket, and pulled pork and chicken, the spicy pig burger, lumpia, and weekend catfish are delicious and the chili cheese fries are the best around!

This place is amazing! We are traveling and stopped here on the way there and again on the way home it was so good! Quality, quantity and price all exceeded our expectations. Yeah and lemonade both delicious. We ordered the Big Mike sampler both times and it's such a great value: ribs, brisket pulled pork and chicken with sides. The daily special of Adobong Manok (Philippine chicken dish) also delicious. Tried the Lumpia based on a customer rec and wow! So so good! If you are traveling anywhere closer here definitely try it out!

M&M is always delicious. So worth it if you haven't tried it, and it's a Black owned business. The only thing I would say is that they douse everything in bbq sauce, so if you're going for wings or a sandwich and you'd like to control the amount of sauce yourself- or if you want dry ribs, you need to tell them that in advance. Either way, delicious but messy!
