Friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious and the right portion of what I was looking for. A variety of options for food and cafe beverages at great prices. They also had a wide variety of bake goods to choose from. I've likely found my new regular breakfast spot.

Really good chips and salsa, a little spicy but that’s how I like it. I ordered the Huevos à la Mexican and Mexican hot chocolate, really good. Quick service, great Mexican breakfast, and the bakery has a lot of options and they were very fast as well! Overall really recommend for a solid Mexican breakfast in round rock!

Nice atmosphere. They sell pan dulce and other pastries. Food itself is very mid tho. I do recommend the pastries tho! Fairly priced food. $10/$11/$12 a plate. Very doable Staff is very nice!

Coffee, good food, amazing bread ! Everything you could ask for in a bakery/restaurant. Their mocha and cappuccinos are my favorite, hence the many pictures of them lol. I love love it, took my whole family and several friend dates. Everyone loves it. Highly recommend the chorizo plate for breakfast, and the fajita beef poblano enchiladas for lunch.

We come here every year during the soccer tournament. The beef fajita quesadillas are 😚🤌 The tamales are good. I always get the menudo; the perfect cold weather food. I'm not a fan of sopapillas or conchas generally, but those with me who do like them love the ones here. Parking can be difficult at peak hours. Getting your name in for a table requires a little assertiveness when it's busy.

Very busy restaurant. Popular with the neighborhood. They are open early and close at 2:00. I had the Eggchiladas for breakfast. They were good, but served a little cool. Husband had the breakfast tacos and liked them. All tortillas are hand made.

My sister and I had the pleasure of stopping by Juarez Restaurant & Bakery today for lunch. Walking into the restaurant was an immediate sense of home. The amazing scents greeted us, the charm and temptation of the bakery counter up at the front, and the welcoming staff won us over right away. We'd already looked at the menu online, and we were eager to try both the enchiladas and the tamales. It has been AGES since either of us had had a good, mouthwatering tamale, and let me tell you, Juarez did not disappoint. We both got the Deluxe Combo in order to try both enchiladas and tamales - I got the beef enchilada and the spicy tamales with the charro beans, and my sister got the cheese enchilada and mild tamales with the refried beans, and that way we could taste each other's, and we have agreed that we will *definitely* be back for more. In fact, we are certainly coming back this holiday season many times just for orders of tamales alone. They were tender, moist, and so flavorful of the likes neither of us have had since we both lived in Corpus over 10 years ago. It was like tasting our younger years! The service was outstanding, the food was to die for, the restaurant cozy and wonderful. If I hadn't left so full from lunch, I'd already be back there right now for more!

Ordered a breakfast taco and a variety of their baked items. The churros were delicious and crispy with the right amount of cinnamon and sugar. The fills one has a pudding in it while the unfilled has a nice, soft interior. The breakfast tacos were large and the eggs tasted fresh. The bacon strip was good, albeit not crispy. The salsa was fresh although not very spicy. I would definitely go back and am excited to try the cookies and croissant I bought. Service was fast and efficient, plus I saw an online order pick up area. Lots of parking and easy access to/from i35. Great stop for travelers or locals wanting a bite. There's also a sit down area with a full menu.

I have been going to Juarez Bakery since 1999, constantly. This place is fantastic! You will find a mix of locals here that just love the Mexican food. The waitress are great and the bakery makes tasty treats! Put this place on your list to go if you have never been.

This is my go-to spot for satisfying my menudo and tamales cravings. The flavors truly capture the rich food traditions of El Paso and Juárez. In addition to menudo and tamales, they offer a variety of other delicious options. So far, we've tried the torta, barbacoa tacos, and migas--and none of them disappoint! They also have an in-house bakery that I highly recommend checking out. A few tips before you visit: * Check their hours, as they may vary. * Be prepared for a wait during busy times. It's a cozy restaurant with great customer service, so your patience will be rewarded. Our longest wait was about 45 minutes, but it was well worth it! If you're craving authentic flavors and warm hospitality, this is the place to go!

Aw man, this place is great! Our friends recommended this spot and encouraged us to go for breakfast/brunch and we are so glad we did! My husband is from El Paso and so expectations were high! Right when you walk in you're welcomed by the friendliness and hospitality of a family business. Love how cozy it is and it definitely feels like you're in El Paso for sure with the decor and all. I almost ordered the menudo, but opted for the chilaquiles plate instead. No regrets. I enjoy my chilaquiles with a nice kick of spicyness served with an over easy egg on the side and it exceeded my expectations. The chilaquiles were nice and crispy and that sauce held the perfect level of spice. What's cool is that the menu tells you what's in the sauce as well, and you get the choice to pick which one you want. Overall I enjoyed my meal, reminded me of home, and I can't wait to be back. I wish they served freshly squeezed juice and also we had some sweet bread to go and it wasn't all that. I've heard the tres leches is good though, I'll be back for brunch again soon and try maybe the menudo and that slice of tres leches!

The food here was mind-blowingly delicious. I really like Mexican food, so I generally leave positive reviews for Mexican restaurants. However, this food was so exceptionally good that I want to emphasize that this is truly a top tier restaurant. The vibes were casual and lively. The employees were so friendly, and the service was great. I did not try their bakery, but the baked goods looked delicious. The prices are so good. I ordered the el burrito entree, which was a huge burrito coated in your choice of sauce with a side of rice and beans. I opted for the chipotle sauce, which was really good and had mild spice (ideal for me). The shredded chicken was mouthwatering. I finished my food, but I was uncomfortably full. My friend liked her chimichanga, and she took a plentiful amount of leftovers home.

Just okay. I had a Chicken Chimichanga with Verde sauce instead of red sauce and no beans. The Chimichanga probably shouldn't have had the sauce on top cause it kind of lost that friend goodness because of it. It was okay in general. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go here but it's decent. They do have really good salsa though! Also the waitress was very attentive which I appreciate! We waited for about 20 minutes for a table which wasn't bad for a Saturday around lunchtime. Their bakery items look very good, maybe next time!

Love the tostadas, tamales and salsa here. This is all I've really eaten because they're so good I don't venture off. Tamales are great to pick up by dozen for quick dinner when you don't want fast food. Good selection of Mexican desserts as well. Inside cut use some reno but it doesn't keep the food from being great. Good breakfast tacos too. Sometimes line is long so I prefer to mobile order and pickup which is usually in/out quickly.

Been going here for 20 years. The wife and I love the food, ambiance and staff. The prices are reasonable and the bakery is always fresh.

Service and ambiance were great! I don't know if this was just a bad day in the kitchen or new cook, but food needs a lot of improvement. Chips are good, salsa had an odd taste and had no salt, none. Enchiladas Rojas - tortilla was barely heated, most places is pan fried. Again, no salt. Beans and rice were decent in flavor. Chile relleno tasted like it had been battered and pan fried a day or two ago. No salt. Menudo - I Do Not Recommend even trying. Pan Dulce - I give them an 8/10. Worth buying. All the staff were friendly and nice.

Love love this place! Great authentic Mexican food and pan de dulce. The service is good and the waitresses are all very attentive. When you walk in there's normally a line lol very clean establishment and clean restrooms as well. Always a staple in round rock when I visit

Been to this place a few times and always absolutely enjoy being here. The service is always really good and it has a real laid-back chill vibe. This is the hole in the wall Mexican restaurant you have been looking for. The food is authentic and full of flavor. I definitely recommend coming here.

Always the best!! When you need just great food every time, when you want to impress people, when you need your food to be done right, with no issues this is the place. Everytime! Been coming in here for awhile now and have not been disappointed. Salsa is amazing, fijatas (no veg) is how they should be served, not cheap on the amount and very tasty Breakfast tacos actually fill the tortilla and cooked to perfection. Plenty of pastries, variety of plates, tamales and a'la cart. This place is a gem and cannot be duplicated.

Anyone sensitive to mold, I'd recommend avoiding this place. I wish I had not looked up.

A Round Rock institution and a staple for me!! I love their tamales and get them for Christmas. I also love breakfast Migas plate and breakfast Tacos. The service is always friendly and fast. It's pretty popular on weekends breakfast and it stops at noon so make sure to arrive with enough time. Sometimes 25 minutes waiy around 11:00am. Cozy lively ambiance.

Man it's been about 7 years since we haven't stepped in to Juarez mex restaurant. Why you may ask? We'll we use to go there for there menudo you know menudo comes with onions,cilantro and lime. We'll it was all good until we ask for more cilantro. O hell folks and you know cilantro is what 38cents under $1.00 dollar. We ask the Owner he passed by and he said o it's $1.75 for extra cilantro veggies are expensive. And it's not about the money but the principal we were what. For extra cilantro. We'll since then we haven't stepped in that restaurant. But we found a better one that has better mexican food and the best menudo it's called. Mi Tia located 1100 Gattis School Rd 300 C, Round Rock, TX 78664. The best and the service great.

Yum yum yum definitely recommend what a gem of a place in round rock I think I found my weekly place to go with my grandma for breakfast! Menudo is really great!! Very well cleaned not fatty like a lot of places Lovely flavor and generous serving of meat Pan sooooo good !!! Definitely can't go eat n not get one Customer service is great !! Not too spread out but very warm and home style ambience. Amazingly soft breads with lot of options. Ladies at the counter are super nice and helpful. We tried the strawberry coconut cake and heart shaped flaky cookie which was super delicious, soft almost out the oven and not overly sweet. Definitely recommend this place for bakery items and quesadillas.

The bread was amazing and the people so friendly. I was able to order and pay over the phone and just pick up my goodies. Highly highly recommend.

Excellent family owned Mexican restaurant with bakery. I've been here several times for lunch and breakfast. It's always delicious and nice service. I also order tamales to take home! Yummy! My favorite dish: Chiliquilles!

Have been eating at Juarez for many (30?) years - since they opened Now live in Austin and still make it to Juarez occasionally. Wish they would open a second place at the Old Mueller Airport in Austin :) :) Update: had breakfast there last week (8/14/24) and it was as good as ever.

With a weekend of drinking the only cure is a big bowl of menudo and a Mexican Coke. This is my second time at Juarez and each time is atleast a 20-30 minute wait - if that doesn't say anything. Service is always sincere and fast. Their salsa is fresh and delicious. Chips are crispy and salted well. The horchata (when given enough time to get cold with the ice) is tasty, sweeter than most horchatas I've had. Their menudo is good. And I say good because the first time I had it, it had a lot of flavor and a good ratio of the hominy, meat, & broth. This time it was loaded with meat with almost no hominy and there wasn't enough broth. And the broth I did have lacked in flavor. It could've just been an off day. Something my bf and his friends (who are from El Paso) turned me onto was eating bread with the menudo and they do have delicious grilled bread if you ask for it. I highly recommend it over tortillas. Game changer. Overall a good place, I'll definitely be back and give the menudo another go. #supportlocal

Went for the Menudo. As a El Paso native this is probably the closest you are going to get for authentic menudo. Would prefer mine to be a little spicier and should automatically come with Oregano, Bolillio (White Bread) and red pepper flakes. I do not understand why people eat this with tortilla and cilantro, it makes no sense flavor wise. Otherwise it is very busy on the weekends, so makes for long wait times for a small seating area and we had to sit next to bathrooms which was disappointing and disgusting.

My family and I have been dining at Juarez for years while living in Round Rock. Now that I'm in Austin I meet my mom for breakfast here frequently. She loves their gorditas, it's her go-to item. I ordered the midas today and they did not disappoint. Make sure to order salsa, it's delicious! We always enjoy some pan dulce with our coffee after breakfast and chit-chat. Don't forget to order some order some Mexican breads to take home, they are the best! Our waitresses today was super friendly and patient. Today was a holiday and the tables were packed at 8:30am. Get there early or prepare to wait.

There's usually a wait to be seated, but the food is always fresh and served hot. I was kinda surprised by how much the prices have increased, but it's worth it!

I always appreciate a place that serves breakfast "all day" instead of ending breakfasts at some arbitrary time. What if you like breakfast items for Brunch? Lunch? Or most likely in my case, what if I want to order a breakfast taco while I'm already there, to eat for breakfast tomorrow? Fortunately, there's no need to confront those dilemmas here; only keep in mind that they close at 2pm daily. Not only do they serve a full range of breakfast items all day, including many omelettes and an espresso bar, but they also have a large assortment of Mexican pastries, cookies, and cakes on display in their bakery, which you are welcome to choose from without sitting down in the restaurant. In addition, this restaurant serves Menudo daily, not just on weekends, but it is for dine-in only. Last time I visited, I ordered some dessert items and a half-dozen fresh tamales, and was on my way. This visit I sat at a table (at 11:45am, all tables were occupied) and ordered off the menu. I got a couple of dishes to eat there, and a couple to go. One downside is that their take-out containers were styrofoam :( I got a traditional crispy beef taco (don't judge me--I love ALL tacos!) and found the beef to be very flavorful and juicy, with crunchy iceberg lettuce, shredded cheddar, and chopped fresh tomatoes. Yum. FYI, the beef is not the picadillo type (with potatoes, etc) but I'm a fan of either type of ground beef mixture as long as it's juicy and not dried out. I ordered a cheese enchilada with chipotle sauce expecting it to be on the fiery side, but it was actually close to mild, by my tastebuds. The cheese filling was good and gooey. I had a chicken mole enchilada later, and was surprised to find the mole spicier than the chipotle, but flavorful, with a very generous filling of white meat chicken. A dollop of sour cream goes well with this enchilada. I also got a "gringo" taco Al Pastor (meaning on a flour tortilla instead of the traditional corn), which was topped with the requisite diced onions and cilantro. I admit to being a bit disappointed in the Pastor: though the meat was small diced and tender, I found the marinade lacking, with no discernible pineapple flavor, either. Next time I think I'll get a Carne Guisada taco instead, as I've heard good things about their rendition. The majority of the patrons were Hispanic and speaking Spanish, which I always take as a good sign at a Mexican place. I'll definitely be back.

I've been going to this place for the last 6 yrs to buy bakery items.. Service has always been great except for the most recent visits with someone named Fabiola. She seems just angry with a "no soup for you attitude". Today, she tried to charge me extra for an item I didn't buy. I called her out on it because it was on the screen and I could visibly see she had charged me extra. After I pointed it out, she asked if I wanted a receipt after I had said I didn't want one. She told me you may want it just in case there's any doubts. This will probably be the last time I go there.

Great service and food (very reasonable prices). Come here often for a breakfast taco (Migas) and occasionally get a pastry (Polvorones). They do not disappoint. If nearby, give it a try.

Coming from Chicago, I was saddened by the lack of AUTHENTIC Mexican food and pan dulce; sorry but TexMex does not qualify. I was starting to lose hope being surrounded by only flour tortillas and crispy tacos. THANK GOD I FOUND JUAREZ RESTAURANT & BAKERY - THEY'RE A GODSENT! Temp hours are 7:30-2pm so when we went in at 1:30, I was nervous they'd be low on pan dulce; no way! They had every pan dulce I could want and have been craving. Their staff was so friendly and quick despite a pretty packed restaurant! The hubs and I got two tacos to go and it was the BEST AND MOST AUTHENTIC TACO IVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND IN NORTH ATX. Only made up of beef fajitas and onions, it was packed with flavor and the tortilla was clearly homemade. Most definitely will be back and can't to try more of their savory menu - based how PERFECT their PAN DULCE tasted, I can't imagine how the rest of their menu compares.

The food is delicious. We've been getting tamales to go from here for years now. They are the best around! Our last visit, I had a ground beef burrito and it had perfect flavor. Their chips and salsa are good but not great. They seem store-bought.

I've been coming here for a while, then stopped visiting, no pun intended though just trying newer things. However, I can say this as my personal taste, aside from the food which is great (you can always share due to the large portions) but hey..... THE FLAN!!!! This place has the best flan I've tasted in the area. It's hard to get the flan to taste great. Usually, they don't make it right and it has an eggy taste or they add way too much caramelized sugar... Either way it's not on point. Here though, the flan is amazing! I don't want to leave out the nice people oriented staff also. I've always encountered good customer service. People check on you and are eager to help you. Off course I believe this is because we as customers have good attitudes and are also polite. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Trying things in the menu is a joy, but I when I'm craving flan, this is my place.

On the way to a conference I ended up at Juarez because... Mexican Bakery! Having been to Veracruz the day before I had pretty low expectations. They were met and more! I got what I judge all taco places by: Migas Taco and Bacon and Egg. Both were very decent. I won't say they should win awards for their tacos, especially their salsa. Three stars for that. Pretty good! The latte I had was very good however -- surprisingly so. But the pastries were really the stars of breakfast. First, two tacos and pastries is a bit much for breakfast but luckily I had friends who were willing to beat the burden of eating half of everything. I tried the churros, apple turnover and a cream cheese pastry. They were all good. Honestly, I'd come back for the pastries alone.

The food is always good. But the place has a horrible stench. It was there a month ago when we ate there and yesterday when we walked in it was there again. Makes it difficult to enjoy the food.

The eggs and chorizo were very tasty. The tortillas were hot and fresh. The baked goods (a whole box) I took with me were SUPERB! The table service was excellent, the bakery counter, likewise. The only downside, and what kept me from giving five stars were the refried beans. They were grainy and runny, maybe too much lard. Weird texture and funky taste. If they get that right, I'll have to buy bigger pants.

Food is still very good. I've been a customer of this restaurant for many years with excellent service and food quality. Today I was disappointed in the service. Fortunately I had placed an online pickup order because when I arrived there were about 7 people behind the counter. They all looked at me, only 2 were busy but NO ONE bothered to greet me or ask if I needed to order. Finally after perhaps 10 minutes someone came to see what I needed. Very very disappointed. I suggested to the one person who came up to me that they actually need to greet a customer and let her know how disappointed I was. Service has been stellar before. I hope this isn't the new Juarez restaurant and bakery.

Most average Mexican food. You're definitely not gaining or losing anything by coming to this spot. Nothing here will blow you away on the restaurant side. The bakery did look legit though.

Discovered this gem in 2004. Moved away & revisited today- 18 years later it remains solid as it ever with great food & the same friendly staff. You can't go wrong. Tip: If you enjoy flaky pastries try the campechana - so good!

We stopped in here after a disappointing outing to another bakery. This store shares a parking lot with a pet store and some other shops so it can get full on a busy day. That said this store was hopping on the restaurant side. We waited a bit to get served at the bakery counter but it wasn't that long. They had flan which is nice when you can't eat any of the other baked goods (plus it was really good) but that said my friend got the little marranita and he liked it a lot. The baked goods were all very fresh and nice looking. The business is a bit off-putting if you're looking for a chill environment but it's clean and the service is good so check it out. Maybe I'll try the restaurant side in the future.

We had the Tres Leches dessert takeout and it was delicious! They have 3 different flavors, vanilla chocolate and strawberry. Vanilla was the best, had the most flavor.
