A growers-only market with covered and indoor pavilions, summer and winter seasons, and SNAP with Double Up Food Bucks. Praised by local outlets for its nearly year-round calendar.
Super friendly people. Decent selection for winter time. Got amazing jellies, a stunning bracelet with a magnetic clasp, and some phenomenal Italian cookies

If you go to the Farmer’s Markets for baked goods, make sure you go to Snout and Feather for her sour dough and Carter Gardens for their garlic cheddar bread. They are both incredible and worth every penny!

I attended/participated in a May the 4th event at this location. Nice amount of parking available, which was great since we had to unload droids & costumes for the celebration. The inside got a bit warm but that was because of all the giddy kids running around. The city of Independence's parks & rec department did a great job with the space. I'd like to visit when the market is going on. Nice space for special events!

It's very spacious for any event. Wednesdays and Saturdays the uptown holds the farmer's market and it has a mixture of fruits and vegetables to sell but also crafts. I have catered here numerous times and it has easy access to kitchen and event floor.
