"This family-run bakery has been making cantucci ( what you might know as biscotti) for decades. The clan's patriarch, Roberto, mixes and rolls everything by hand in the back, using a recipe that he knows by heart—ask, and hewill happilyshow you the original recipe, now splattered with egg whites and cocoa. Roberto's delicate cantucci are far from the tooth-cracking kind sold at manyplaces. If you are really lucky, a fresh batch of the dark-chocolate-and-pistachio variety may have just been pulled out of the oven when you arrive."

This pastry is a gem! We went there every morning for our breakfast. Pastries & sandwiches are delicious, fresh and homemade. This place is typical and the staff is very nice. You get a real Italian experience!

This was one of my favorite places to visit during my trip. I always felt welcomed and looked forward to trying a new pastry every day. If you come to this bakery just know it will be on your mind until you return! I can’t thank the staff enough for being kind and being part of some of my favorite moments. I recommend trying their pistachio croissant or the millefoglie.

Wonderful and delicious bakery in Florence that is off the beaten path! We stumbled across this bakery during our first trip to Florence and fell in love! The tiramisu and everything else we had was to die for! The two women working were so friendly and kind… we are even planning to go back tomorrow morning! Do not hesitate… go here for delicious pastries with very reasonable prices and a true authentic experience of a Tuscan bakery!

This place serves a lot of locals and it is a never ending rotating door of patrons coming in. The theme/style is a 50s canteen bakery. We love the 'kitchen' seating at the back. A cappuccino is €1.5, large size is €1.6, pistachio cream croissant is €2, the custard nuts pastry is €1.5, cappuccino with ginseng is €1.8. The staff is super efficient and courteous. Overall, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Highly recommend this place!

The pastries and coffee were delicious. The women behind the counter the day we visited were all delightful and friendly. There’s seating both inside and outside.

Pasticceria Buonamici is our second favorite pasticceria in all of Florence — but a solid number one in the Oltrarno. The cornetti are absolutely delightful, light and buttery in all the right ways, and their bite-size sandwiches are dangerously addictive. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot you return to again and again. Highly recommend.

Amazing neighbourhood Pasticceria. Cheap and cheerful cups of coffee, with a wide selection of freshly baked pastries. I already miss the taste of the chocolate bigne :')
