"Tucked away in an alley in Euljiro, Eunjujeong originally specialized in pork belly, but it’s become famous for its kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew), a lunchtime special and a side on dinner orders of pork belly. Pots filled with uncooked pork and spicy, tangy kimchi wait for guests at each table; they cook up in minutes, but keep yours simmering longer to make the broth even tastier. Eunjujeong uniquely offers ssam, an assortment of leafy vegetables, to wrap chunky pieces of meat from the jjigae, and there is a vending machine where you can purchase different noodles to add to your broth. This is my 2nd best meal I had in Seoul. For the price point, it was definitely value for money. The BBQ was good and the meat were grilled by the staff. They also showed us how to best eat the meat with the vegetables and sauces. Their sides and kimchi soup were also good and portions were sizeable. Service were friendly and prompt.

I didn’t expect much from the pork bbq, had high expectation on their kimchi stew but I actually found the opposite. The self-grilled meats are quite wonderful, coming with generous amount of fresh vegetables while the stew is great-ish but nothing of excellence. The place is good for tourists to get a well-rounded sense of typical Korean dine-out package at once.

Hole in wall Kimchi Jigae… all locals, perfect for lunch! The pork was excellent and you can choose also to add noodles (instant) which was perfect for slurping up the wonderful aged kimchi and broth.

Kimchee soup during lunch and pork/Kimchee soup during dinner. You will walk in and they ask how many people and they will give you a pot with Kimchee soup with the serving size for your group. It’s a huge serving size and lots of pork inside the soup. It’s 12,000 won per person for lunch. I believe it’s was 17,000 won for dinner. There is no menu and it’s not in English. Just be ready to say how many people in your group. The vegetables are plenty. If you want another plate it’s 5000 won. We really liked! The bathroom smells like the moth balls, but it’s super clean.

Restaurant is understated and does not advertise that it is the sacred place for kimchi. But it is ! Walk into the restaurant and you don't have to speak a word. Food will be served because there is only one dish. Kimchi is stewed in advance so you can just sit and eat once it is brought to a boil. The taste is a little thin at the beginning but even thickens and get richer and more yummy as it stews. The plate of vegetable provided is so fresh and heavenly.

It's a very local , popular Kimchi gige hotpot restaurant full of local people even in hot summer time. When a foreigner especially solo one, will get eye attention mostly. They severed many different types of lettuces with palm size very healthy. Need to use these leaves with sliced garlic and koreansauce ‘Ssamjang’to wrap with port meat from hotpot. The hotpot is purely kimchi ,chopped pork belly & tofu. Don't open the pot cover until it's fully boiled, it will take about 20mins, the waitress will come to check it for you. English is not working here but they simply can get what you need.

Kind of full of taste my mean there is a one menu start from grilled pork belly and after they serve kimchijjigae and if you want rice should order! Anyways served lots of super fresh vegi also! So you can make perfect Ssam!Only one bed thing is sometimes.. can be wait…. But still recommendation to feel of full of Korea taste
