SoulCycle Preston Hollow

I’ve always wanted to try a SoulCycle class. I’m visiting from Jersey, and after taking a class with Ashley - I can see what the hype is about! Nora and the front desk made me feel very welcome, and even the rest of the riders taking the class made me feel right at home. I would definitely come back if I was back in Texas, and I’ll probably end up taking or joining a SoulCycle back at home 😂!

SoulCycle PRST is the premier fitness studio in Dallas! The instructors are all phenomenal...You'll leave each class feeling inspired and challenged....all while keeping a smile on your face! :) Plus, the studio crew is extremely knowledgeable and always happy to help. It's truly an experience I look forward to each week...Highly Recommend!!

Inclusivity is probably the best word to describe this place. From the Studio Crew to the Instructors and even the other riders I have always felt welcomed. I am not fit by any means and was worried that would be an issue. It definitely is not. All ages and levels of fitness come together to cycle and it's such an amazing ride. Matt A. is a PHENOMENAL instructor, he includes everybody and is so encouraging. He not only makes you feel confident throughout your ride but he also uplifts you throughout with his stories and praise. He is an AMAZING ASSET. Whether it's your first time or you need a review, the studio crew is always willing to help adjust and explain your bike. They will also show you the facilities available. I'm always proud of myself for finishing a class. It's truly a wonderful experience. Definitely something to add to your week to kill the monotony.

Friendly staff,Great and uplifting environment and Amazing instructor,I had so much fun. Will be booking another class VERY soon. Little tip: if it's your first time riding make sure you get there early so the staff can show you what to do :)

If you are looking for a challenging aerobic workout with outstanding instructors and friendly front desk staff, Soul Cycle is for you! I started my Soul Cycle journey on July 3, 2016 and I am hooked! Just love this place and love how I feel after an invigorating 45 minute ride!

I love Soul Cycle - a great 45 minute workout that is always challenging. The instructors are fabulous - so friendly and encouraging. And I love the message of community that Soul cycle spreads. The staff is wonderful - I am so happy that SC has found it's Dallas location!

Came here on an invitation from a friend, was glad I did when I left. The workouts are set to fast-paced dance music, and you're told to ride to the beat of the song. The instructor was very friendly and encouraging, great crowd leader. I left feeling tired and a little sore, but I count that as a sign of a good workout. The only negative part is that if you don't have a coupon, it's $30 a session (and then $3 if you don't have bike shoes). Unfortunately that is steep enough to prevent me from being a regular attendee. I can see this place being even more of a hit if they can come down on that price. Maybe that's the point though, keep us poor folk out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great workout and fun to do even if you do not typically enjoy cycling! There are a variety of trainer with different styles (I enjoyed them all). Class cost is expensive at $26-30 per class

Definitely will not go back to any soul cycle. I try it twice and both were unpleasant experiences. Besides facility looking nice. The staff the was nice beside a couple. Mind you it's 100 degree in Dallas, or hot outside. When taking a cycle class felt like you're going to have a heat stroke, heart attack or something you're going to collapse. While taking a cycle class there was NO air circulation, NO A/C and NO fans. Also the bike of the seat even if you adjust it and tighten it, it kept on adjusting it. I'm assuming there is no maintenance check on the bikes. Still my butt is sore from sitting. Would I try again, definitely my answer is no. I rather go somewhere.

Friendly staff at the front and it seems like most instructors were engaged as well as I had another instructor welcome me in and make me feel well one but unfortunately my instructor quite a bit of class time looking at herself in the mirror and fixing her hair it was actually fairly distracting. I teach cycle and felt like the overall style of the class just wasn't for me. 128 RPM's out of saddle was a lot. Clean studio and def has a cult following for a good reason just not necessarily my type of class.

This was my first time with SoulCycle, and I usually run or work out at home. I received a certificate for several classes and absolutely loved every class! The staff are incredibly welcoming and made this newbie feel relaxed and comfortable. The instructors were also very welcoming, friendly, and high energy. Matt A. and Kevin are both so encouraging and wonderful. I absolutely loved Taylor D. The music for each class was fantastic, though it may have been a little loud, the music made each class that much more fun. The classes are dimly lit, which I really appreciate because I am sure I am always on the wrong leg or arm. The showers are very nice and clean and stocked with shampoo, soap, deodorant, and fresh towels and hairbands are provided. I highly recommend the Preston Hollow SoulCycle. If you are thinking of joining, try one class. I am sure you will love it!

The first time I ever tried spin classes was at this Soul Cycle location with a friend. She did all the booking for me but I enjoyed the clean building and friendly environment. The employees were so helpful with setting up my bike. Despite being my first time, the instructor was patient with me lol. Spin classes at fitness boutiques tends to be on the pricey side but so worth it for the motivation and atmosphere.

Rude told me I could come in 10 mins late and I showed up 11 mins late and was declined entrance ruined my whole morning routine

I def. wasn't expecting to fall in love with SoulCycle the way I have but, believe the hype. This workout is not for the faint of heart, using a combination of choreography and cardio to keep riders engaged and burning calories. I've ridden at plenty of Souls but, the community and energy are what make the Dallas community exceptionally amazing. The front desk staff are always friendly, helpful, and attractive as well. If you're looking for an intense sweat and low-key therapy session, this is the place for you. Let's talk logistics: New? Make an account online and arrive early to complete a waiver Price? $20 for new riders and/university students Parking? They have their own lot! Other shit? They have SO many amenities - anything you could need from shoes to gum to really elevate your experience.

It's my birthday weekend woot! #ScorpioSeason lol. Since I'm so into working,my friends thought they would surprise me with a ride for my birthday! I know no typical birthday brunch but this year, but this was better.Burning calories with your friends literally everything I love. The check in process was easy. If you don't have your own cycling shoes I believe it is $2 to rent if you are not a first time rider. Next you pick a bike and instructors are near by to assist with the bike setup. We went during Dante's last ride and it was the best of hip hop. The music was phenomenal which is very important for any workout I think. His class was def intense I burned 600 calories and I took ALOT of breaks and we were all sweating bullets. Def a birthday for the books! Thank you Soul Cycle for a great sweat!

I never have anything bad to say about SoulCycle or its individual locations. I love everything about the brand and its lifestyle, one that stretches beyond just its classes. I always take classes here and in Uptown when I'm in town for the holidays. The studio is spacious and its employees are never anything but absolute angels. There's tons of parking outside, and I like the standalone location. I have taken classes with Bailey and Kevin here, and both are absolutely phenomenal instructors. Classes are always high energy, difficult, and fun. While I love my NYC family, the Dallas instructors and community here is unparalleled; I am always shocked when people actually high five me from every direction. People whoop and scream and wave their towels throughout the class and it is truly amazing to see and feel in person. The Dallas Soul experience is truly unique and I'll always come back for more.

A long time coming but I had a friend who RAVED about an instructor for two months straight so my SF self finally found my way back to Dallas ready to be blown away, and you know what...I WAS BLOWN AWAY. Petition to bring Valentina to SF P L E A S E. Her energy is everything especially on a Thursday morning at 6:30am. She has a way of making her class feel included and empowered. For the first time Soul Cycle didn't feel like a workout it felt like a party where you come out energized never wanting it to end. Not that Valentina didn't push us, because she definitely did, but she made the class so much fun and just an overall good time. Thank you Viv for setting the standard of what an amazing time at Soul Cycle looks like.

Let me preface by saying I do not like cardio. I've never enjoyed it and was very skeptical I would ever be a "cycle person". Soul cycle has changed that all for me. Their staff is so nice and cheerful, especially the manager Marybeth. They make me feel like I'm apart of a community and keep me coming back for more. Please take my word, you won't regret it!

Wow!! I had an amazing 1st class at Soul Cycle. My 1st class was only $20, the staff was very helpful, and the process is super easy. They have free lockers, which have USB phone charging outlets in them....nice! Most importantly, WHAT A WORKOUT. I'm got a little intimidated when I saw the class before me leaving out and everyone was DRENCHED with sweat. However, you can totally do as much as you can and you're not pressured to do anymore than that. I attended Roger's class and loved his style.....not to mention he played a nice mix of Beyoncé songs which I thoroughly enjoyed. Soul Cycle is not too close to my home, but I love the class hours, which allow me to miss excess traffic. So, I'll definitely be back!!

Bright lights, fancy bikes, flashy tights, pumpin music. SoulCycle, you're pretty cool. My review is a tad bit delayed but I had the honor of attending a pre-opening ride at SoulCycle. I've heard many great things, by great, I've heard worship stories of SoulCycle so alas, I was quite curious what this ride would entail. The ride is somewhat similar to other ride studios in Dallas, mainly Zyn22, somewhat the Ride House. It is a 45 minute group ride with the lights drawn low and EDM music blaring. You ride to the rhythm of the beat and ride as a collective group, working off of the energy of each other, but if that doesn't work, the instructor will spout all sorts of positive and encouraging phrases to keep you moving. A few things to note that I particularly didn't like about my ride. 1. The water bottle holder on the bike is in the worst spot (mimicking a real bike) and is super tight and narrow. Recommendation is NOT to bring a fancy water bottle, a small plastic one may be your best bet. 2. The bikes are not stadium-platformed (difficult to see if you're not in the front) and are reallly really close together. Literally, your face may be in someone's butt while they are out of the saddle. I understand the need for space conservation in NYC, but hey, a little extra space is ok in Dallas. 3. A little A/C wouldn't hurt also Great boutique studio that does a great job of making you feel ultra cool and posh, but would be great if the prices would come down a little bit.

Good instructor, but the music and instructors microphone are WAYYYY TOO LOUD. I'm a professional music producer, and my wife always complains about how loud I listen to music. So if I think it's too loud then it's WAY too loud. Like 3x louder than I usually listen to music. My ears are ringing. This decibel level is damaging to folks' ear drums. I estimate it was About 130 DB. (For reference, anything over 85 DB is harmful to the human ear.) There are speakers in front of nearly every bike. Not even a rock concert needs that many speakers. I complained to the instructor and he just said "well it distracts from the pain." No. My ears are in pain now because of his irresponsibility. I told the person on desk duty and she said she would let the manager know. Well that's not really good enough. I asked to be refunded for future classes I already bought and they said no. I hope they will resolve this situation and also provide a healthier auditory environment for their customers.

Review of STUDIO ONLY: I've been to many a Soul studio across the country (NYC, CT, MA, SF, Austin, etc) and I can tell you...Dallas knows how to design a studio. Both the uptown and PH locations allow for crowd flow and their locker rooms are lovely. I took a Lyft to class but did notice that the parking lot was a complete cluster. If this was my home studio, I'm sure it'd drive me batty. I took a class with Ashley. It was fine but not really my favorite. Class started and people still were having trouble with bikes, were talking to each other, etc...a serious pet peeve of mine. Get there on time, people. Ashley had plenty of energy but the class did not which always hurts the vibe. I don't think it's a Dallas thing since the class I took at the uptown studio was almost too high energy so maybe it's the clientele here or just the crown Ashley draws. Either way, she gives a solid textbook Soul sequence and has decent music. The amount of y'all's was kind of bananas though. :)

One of the girls at the front desk was super rude just staring at us like we were morons as we talked to each other and interrupted "FIRST TIME?" but then didn't offer any help at all. My partner told her he was a size and she grabbed his shoe and looked inside and gave him a different size?? Really weird. So yeah no one helped us at all. The place is SO loud, like my ears HURT yet the sound system was crap- neither of us could understand a single word the instructor said. I was having trouble clipping out and the instructor said in front of the whole class to "save the chatter". Whatever, I'll save the chatter and the money. You couldn't pay me $30 to go back.

I always have a great time at SoulCycle! It doesn't matter which instructor you have they are all so good and I leave drenched in sweat! If you want a particular time and bike number make sure to book as soon as they open up on Monday at noon! The classes fill up fast!

Very annoyed with this company. As a business owner I would have absorbed the cost and called it a day. I went it Tuesday, spent $330 and changed with was fine. I was told since the sports bra didn't drop yet the would charge me $56 dollars. Well to my dismay I was charged $141 ish. I want not expecting to pay about $500 when I a courtesy discount from owning a Pilates Studio. IMO soil cycle can afford to do the right thing and do what they employee told me. I will never shop here shin nor send clients. I'm sure in thirties business the would break even. Not happy- Kylene Law

There's a reason Soul Cycle now seems to have a studio on every street - it's an amazing experience. Like all the other reviewers say, the studio is impeccably clean and shiny. You can shower here as well. I've taken classes with Cat Crowe, Hayes, Abby, and Lexi (I believe Lexi now only teaches at the new Uptown location) and every instructor is great. They have their own personalities and unique music taste, but in order to pass through the instructor training, they had to be good instructors, period. The thing I really like about SC is that it's not just a workout, it's an experience. It's cathartic, therapeutic, and pumps you up. It washes away all worries for 45 minutes and all you focus on is building a stronger you. For that, I keep coming back when I have time. The only negative thing about SC (or just expensive studios in general) is that the clientele is usually pretty one dimensional (especially in Dallas). I've brought a few friends and while all have liked it, one friend didn't like the lack of diversity at the studio. Overall, for the workout and for the experience, I rate SC 5 stars. The instructors are all very nice and love meeting new riders. The riders themselves are either really nice or sometimes a bit stuffy, but with classes at $30+ each time, you're bound to get a few snobs. Try it out at least once, you won't regret it and you'll get to see for yourself what the hype is all about. And maybe even fall in love yourself! Super excited abt the Uptown location opening up soon as well :D

I can't say enough good things about soulcycle!!! As a fitness enthusiast and fitness instructor I'm a bit rough when i judge a studio, and soulcycle gets 10/10 in my book! The staff is so nice, and the instructors are incredible people with a love for what they do! I used to hate spin then soulcycle came in my life, and now is the best part of my day! You not only come for a killer sweat sesh, but start to make friends there and it becomes a social outing. For some reason the clients who come to soul are super nice, and everyone is willing to be friends with everyone! While all instructors there are amazing my two faves are Valentina and Hayes. Vali has an energy that is welcoming and makes me you feel at home right away. Hayes was my first teacher and will forever be my favorite. His motivational cues mixed with his energy makes for such a fun class. If you are ever confused about form or are confused about anything feel Free to snag him after class, and he'll help you out! Try soul and you won't regret it.

My favorite way to sweat in this city! Classes are 45 minutes - and different every time! The instructors are dynamic and fun and the community always surprises me. It's uplifting, welcoming, and accepting. I love this studio!

Bigger space for locker and bathroom compared to Uptown location. Instructors are very motivational and energetic. Kevin's class is hard, but always give me good and strong feeling afterwards. Clean and comfortable bathroom, they prepare stuff ( towel, deodorant, hairspray, hairdryer ) that you need after shower. Parking also easy, there's free garage parking behind the building.

As a cycle instructor for a local gym...I'm always looking for inspiration for my next class. So it's a real treat when I get to check out different gyms and workouts because I feel like I am always teaching!! After visiting the SoulCycle location out in D.C. a couple years back...I was basically hooked. Fun (and LOUD...but it's ok I like it loud) music, good looking instructors and a serious calorie torching workout that is worth every penny...sign me up! I was thrilled when I heard they opened one up in Dallas. I quickly reserved my bike for a 6:30 a.m. class with Cat. If you know anything about me you know that morning workouts are my jam and this one was pure perfection. The staff was very professional, and they got me all squared away with my Smartwater, fresh towel and spin shoes. You can definitely bring your own bike shoes but the fact that they offer this service is a plus. They also have locker room areas with fancy showers if you're heading straight to work after. Overall I am a fan! Get a cute tank top to wear to your next class and they give you a snazzy Soul Cycle silver tote bag. LOVE! So splurge on yourself and check it out. Because yes, you are worth it. Can't wait to go back.

As with most other yuppie, trendy, brand-oriented, [insert adjective about businesses that bring increasing gentrification here] fitness studios, I won't lie - I was initially pretty skeptical of SoulCycle. However, a friend who loves SoulCycle in NYC convinced me to check out the 6:30 AM ride with Hayes, and my expectations were far beyond exceeded! The workout itself is amazing. Check in about 15 minutes before the class starts (sign up online or call beforehand if it's your first time), grab some clip-in shoes, and head into the studio. There are friendly assistants that help you clip in and adjust your bike height if it's your first time, which is nice. I can't speak for the other instructors, but Hayes was fantastic - GREAT music selection (aka lots of Beyonce), encouraging, positive, but always pushing you to your limits. I'm not a huge fan of the metaphysical generalizations of life as it relates to spinning, but Hayes kept it mostly about encouragement of the actual workout, which I liked. He even got off his bike at times to encourage individuals or adjust their form, and was happy to chat with people after class, which really shows how much he cares! Yes, there are certain aspects of SoulCycle that hold true to the rumors. It is very white, both in terms of the space and the demographics of the people who work there/people who take classes. It is definitely not cheap. People whoop and yell at 6:30 AM. Everything in the bathrooms, from the shampoo in the showers to the soap at the sinks, smells like grapefruit. Grapefruit smells and lululemon-clad women aside, if you're looking for a challenging, calorie-torching workout with some amazing instructors, definitely give SoulCycle a shot! It's $20 for your first ride, so grab a friend and make it a fun experience.

I tried cycling for the first time tonight. I was nervous and didn't think I could last the full time, but I did! The facilities were very nice and clean. There was ample parking on the streets. Shoutout to Roger!

My fitness splurge. I go to the Equinox that has a vast amount of classes, but from the minute I attended a SoulCycle class I was hooked. When I want to work hard; get away from my typical fitness routine, it's Soul all the way. The classes are challenging, very fun and engaging. What makes it such an engaging experience is that the good instructors are right there with you riding the entire way! It holds you accountable because they are in it with you! I've not spun with every instructor but Cat, Kevin, Lexi, and Hayes are great!

Soul Cycle has been on my radar to try for awhile and this past Friday I was able to attend my first class and it was fantastic! I had Abby who was fun and energetic and she did the Selena vs The Weeknd mash up. I loved the music and how engaging she was with the riders. The workers were very kind and helped and assisted me to get into the bike. The studio is a bit tight and I do feel like the bikes are very close together. I did get an incredible workout and I felt my body feeling worked out afterwards. I did notice the fans were not on and being close together obviously you get a better sweat but I was dying! Lol. Can a girl get some A/C?! Other than that no complaints if it's your first class you get a free shoe rental and a bottle of smart water. Honestly they have many classes to chose from and every person was super friendly. It's a bit steep in pricing... $30 a class but it's worth checking out. It's a bit much for me to make it my regular studio but I don't mine dropping by from time to time.

Finally tried the cult obsession now that it's here in Dallas--at long last! Bright, shiny new studio right on Northwest Hwy. Close to both 75 and the tollway, they could not have picked a better location. Ample parking put front. The front desk staff were all very welcoming and friendly, showing me where my bike would be on the map and directing me to the changing rooms Changing facilities (separate for both men and women) are nice, large spaces. Plenty of showers and toilets, plus benches for your things. They've provided all the basic toiletries, so no need to pack a dop kit for your next ride. A little surprised, though, that all the products are cheap drugstore brands. Didn't seem to match the soul cycle aesthetic. Locker area is also huge, and they use the keyless lockers popular with most boutique studios. One bonus is there's a USB port at the back of each locker so you can plug in your phone to charge while you're in class. Great perk! Studio itself is overwhelming with so many bikes stacked so closely together. The bikes go 3-4 rows back on each side and there's barely room without someone's ass in your face. Felt too much of a sardine experience for a luxury boutique studio. The ride/workout itself was awesome. I took Hayes' 6:30pm class, and he has us working hard from the very beginning. We were barely in the saddle and kept pedaling fast as we pushed the resistance. There are already 2lb weights at each bike but you can swap them out before class from a basket in the front (wish I'd seen that on my way in). The class goes by quickly and there's a nice bit of time dedicated to stretching at the end. To note: my small bkr (500ml) barely fit in the water bottle holder, which is more restrictive than most. It's ideal for the bottles of smart water they have at check in but a tight fit for typical bottles. Try to resist buying some of the cute athletic gear from the retail corner on your way out. First class is $20 and regular classes are $30, though I think they get a little bit cheaper in bulk. Let's face it, you're paying for the name. Overall, great workout but can't say it was too different from other spin studios in town. It was also almost twice the price of some other studios. I love a luxury experience, but I expect the higher price tag to match that all the way around. A couple less than ideal factors (drugstore toiletries, crowded bike room) for a high price point, knocked this review from 5 to 4 stars. I'd go back but don't plan on making this my regular studio. Definitely recommend trying for everyone!

I've been to SoulCycle in NYC... this place operates the exact same way, though surprisingly the NYC location that I went to was more spacious. The people who work here are phenomenal- every last one of them was super friendly and helped me and my friend get our bikes set up. Abby was our instructor and she was fab as well, I couldn't believe she could be so energetic and not out of breath- haha! Pricing is too expensive for me to come often ($30 to drop in for 1 class) but I do recommend everyone try it once! Another thing that I found interesting was how cram-packed all the bikes were in one room. They can squeeze a LOT of people in there... I recommend reserving a bike in the way back or on the sides of the instructor if you're a little claustrophobic. All in all, great experience, thanks to the staff for such an entertaining and enjoyable workout !!

It's been open for two weeks and I've already been 5 times. SoulCycle is like no other experience ever. I've done classes at Equinox (yawn), two at Flywheel HP (smelled like gym socks and bikes didn't have any towels on them) but SoulCycle you get it all!!! You get great service as soon as you walk in the door. The front desk is always friendly, the water bottles are always cold, bikes already have towels, you can change out the weights you use, and best of all the place smells so clean and like Grapefruit. All the above is just about the place, now the instructors... AMAZING! I've been to Cat and Hayes (4x). They pick the best songs that have a beat you can ride to and the work out really tones your core and legs. They also push you all the way through the routines reminding you of why you walked in that door and how you have the strength to push through it! I can't enough rave about this place. I've also done it in NYC and Chicago the experience is the same, first class! Love this place and welcome to Dallas. For any first time riders, the first class will leave you breathless but come back a second time and you'll feel stronger. The instructors love to offer tips on how to enjoy the ride and how to do the routines. Hayes (instructor) even gets off his bike and greets some of the riders and helps them find the tempo or pushes them! If you take the time to say hello after class, he and Cat both remember your name and will cheer you on in class if you want it. Also recommend asking the front desk about each instructors music choice so you find one that fits your style.

All the cool kids are doing SoulCycle, so I thought I'd give it a try to see what the hype is about. Definitely a cute boutique studio with bright lights and clean lines. Staff is friendly and check-in was easy. There is parking right out front, or you can park in the garage behind the building. Your first ride is $20, which includes free shoe rental (I brought my own and they fit). You have to call in to book your first ride. Abby was a great instructor, super motivating and had great energy. I appreciated that she didn't talk the entire time, but just enough to keep us going. The music was just WAY too loud. I should have grabbed ear plugs, but honestly, loud music never bothered me in the other spin studios (or just in general). This place had it turned up a few more notches than I was used to. I liked how the bikes are spread out far enough next to each other so you're not hitting the other person doing push-ups off the handlebars, but they were way too close length-wise. When the person in front of me sat down, my head could almost touch her butt when I am in 3rd position (awkward). I would compare this type of spin studio to Zyn22 or Lync. It is rhythm-based with lots of tap backs, choreography, and push-ups. One song is dedicated to arms using light dumbbells, and the second to last song is about "love and light". I didn't see any classes on the schedule that were more "performance-based", so Zyn22 is the best studio I can match it up to. Because of the SoulCycle brand, drop in classes are $30 (+$3 shoe rental if needed) which is on the high side compared to most cycle studios in Dallas.

One of the only workouts I can force myself to make it to if I'm not feeling super motivated. I leave feeling SO great every time. My favorite instructors are Ashley & Lexi, but let's be honest, everyone at both SoulCyle locations is amazing.

I did not know what to really expect. My husband and I went & it was amazing. Great cardio experience.

Been coming here for two years. Great instructors. All bring their personality and just up to you which one you go back to. If you are ready for the whoppin' of your life go to Kevin's class, you will feel great afterwards, and feel like you accomplished something.

Going into this class I was very skeptical whether or not SoulCycle was going to live up to the hype. We attended the SoulSurvivor class on a Saturday morning. The facility is super clean and modern. They let you borrow cycling shoes if you didn't bring your own. The amenities are great they have towels, filtered water, and tons of stuff stocked in the restroom. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. This was by far one of the hardest workouts I've had in awhile. Great class, even better sweat. They offered new cyclists a 3 for 60 dollar deal and I scooped that up right away. Can't wait to go back!

This was my first experience at a SoulCycle and I was unimpressed. The lobby is small, the bikes are WAY to close to together, and the no one offered to help me set up my bike (even after me saying it was my first time here). Me and a group friends all went together, and no one was overly impressed. You are right on top of each other, would bump into each other while doing the arms segment, and the instructor never turned any fans on! This SoulCycle seems to be more caught up an image. There are many other spin/cycle studios in the Dallas area that I would rather take my business too. If you are looking for the same type of atmosphere I would suggest Zyn22 or Ridehouse!

Pricey, but totally worth it!! A great way to get a great workout! I've been 4 times now and I can't get enough! The instructors are positive and encouraging and the staff is very helpful! Great customer service!

I've been waiting for years for SC to finally come to Dallas, and was so thrilled that they opened the studio with certified talent from established studios, including Abby, a superstar from NYC/DC! I took a SOUL Survivor class this past Saturday morning and a "regular" SOUL class on Memorial Day, both with Abby. She's great, and the music selection and moves were on point. I will say that the music was way, way, way, too loud - and I've read that this is a big issue with both Flywheel and SOULCYCLE, playing music consistently above 100 decibels when 90 decibels is supposed to be standard, per OSHA guidelines. I'm a spin instructor myself and I totally get that music is EVERYTHING in a spin class, but there's big difference between music that's loud enough and music that's so loud, it's rock concert level-loud where it takes about half a day to regain your full hearing. That happened to me in both classes. I didn't get my hearing back for about 4 hours and that's pretty scary. This is a problem that's not exclusive to the big chains because local studio LYNC cycling was also scary loud the few times I went. With a little less noise, you'll be able to hear yourself think, not go deaf before the age of 30, and be able to hear the instructor in class! Just a thought. Otherwise, I was really happy with my experience but it's definitely not something I can afford on any sort of regular basis, but nice for the occasional treat - as long as I remember to stuff ear plugs in my ears before walking in!

Zero ventilation, tiny room - little box. For the price you're paying, these basic things should not be an issue. You feel as if you're soaking up the sweat and breath of everyone around you because you cannot feel any air movement or venting whatsoever, and the space is so confined, it's a hotbox. It is not stadium seating - you're right next to the other rider and rear is in your face your as well. Flywheel is far better, you can breathe. I realized after I wrote the above review, every single other review said the same thing - to break it down 1. Zero ventilation, no air flow 2. Butt in face of other riders, bikes way too close and room way too small 3. Way too expensive given these big problems.

Went to the new SoulCycle location in Dallas. Entered and waited for assistance. Two employees were at the desk. One remained on the phone and the other immediately assisted the customers who walked in behind me. I walked out and thought I'd try again. Upon reentering, I shared with the employee that I thought I would try again to get some assistance. She remarked its "crazy" isn't it? I have been to other locations in other parts of the country and was eagerly awaiting this location's opening. If this was my only experience, I would neither return nor encourage anyone else to do so.

Soulcycle finally opened in Dallas! What a time to be alive. A friend and I took the 11:45 class this morning. Being a spin lover I was excited to see what the big deal about this studio was. Our instructor was Lexi. The size of the space is average - I would compare it to Flywheel's studio. There's a large locker room area and a small retail section. I actually never saw the bathroom so no idea if they offer showers. Once in the classroom, I was a bit disappointed with the set up. I prefer the stadium seating to help with being able to see the instructor from any bike. First three rows are ground level with the fourth on a step up. I was on second row and there was a tall man right in my view of the instructor's bike. Weights were already at each bike but you could switch them out to heavier ones if you wanted (they put 2 lb. weights.) One thing that was a minor inconvenience is that the water bottle holder isn't open and a fatter bottle will not fit - my friend had to put her Hydro on the ground bc it wouldn't fit in the holder. My Camelbak barely fit. The music in this class was fantastic. It was easy to find the rhythm and it kept me motivated. The mirrors quickly fogged up and Lexi opened the doors a few times to let some fresh air in. Great experience I would definitely try it again. Drop in rates are on par with the rest of the studios in the area at $30.

So, I've been slow to get on the spinning bandwagon. I do just about every other type of workout (yoga, running, barre, HIIT), but never got into spinning at Equinox, where I'm a member, or Flywheel. Recently, I felt like I was in a cardio rut. I read about how amazing SoulCycle is, but was skeptical given my history with spinning. Well, after four SoulCycle classes I can say I'm hooked. I love cycling to the rhythm of great music and the inspiring messages of the instructors. Agree with previous reviewers on the closeness of the bikes. You do sometimes feel like you're just a bit too close to the behind of the person ahead of you. As far as water bottles, my S'well bottle fits fine in the bottle holder, but you probably couldn't place a bottle with a larger circumference in the holder. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 due to cost, $30 per class is a bit steep. There is a slight discount if you buy classes in bulk. Also, you have to pay to rent shoes after your first ride. I think eventually I'll just buy a pair of spin shoes. Overall, I highly recommend this as an addition to anyone's cardio routine.

I finally jumped on the bandwagon and went to Soul Cycle. I wanted to change up my workout routine so I decided to try a spin class. I love it! The instructors are great, friendly, and motivate you throughout the class. The front desk staff is also very nice and helpful. The facility itself is nice with lockers and showers.You really get the hang of it after the third class but there's always someone willing to help you with the bike. The class itself is nonstop for 45 minutes with a bit of weights and stretch at the end. It's great cardio. I love the music and really motivates me. It is on the expensive side but on par with other spin studios in the area. This is definitely something to incorporate into our workout routine occasionally but again it's pricey. If you want to experience the newest workout trend, I highly recommend Soul Cycle.
