A new sports bar is headed to the Arts District | Eater Vegas

"Planned as the Arts District's first contemporary tavern explicitly branded as a pure sports bar, this proposed tenant will occupy spaces 1500–1502 at the corner of Main Street and Utah Avenue and is currently navigating the city approval process. The buildout envisions a 1,500-square-foot interior with open areas and a U-shaped bar, plus a substantial 5,400-square-foot rear courtyard that stretches behind three storefronts and is intended for outdoor dining, live events, and entertainment. Filed plans do not show an internal kitchen, though operators emphasize outdoor dining; food service may come from a neighboring tenant, visiting food trucks on Utah Avenue, or an ancillary brew pub reportedly planned next door. Overall I was unimpressed when I was visiting here earlier this month. The food was uninspired and bland. The manager was snotty. The only ray of sunshine was the bartender, Camree (sp?). My drinks were on point and always cold, and she was the perfect balance between friendly and unobtrusive. I sure hope she's working when I go back again! Otherwise, I will find somewhere else to have a beer!
