⭐️ One of My Favorite Mediterranean Spots in Dallas! Sababa Mediterranean Cuisine is a must-visit if you love Mediterranean food. Their gyro is absolutely amazing—one of the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. The staff are super friendly, the interiors are very clean, and the whole place has a nice, relaxing ambience. it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend this spot for fresh, flavorful meals and top-notch service!

Service! If you want restaurants to go out of the way and do something for you, you have sababa! I planned a last minute meal at sababa. Their buffet was amazing and on top of that their customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I asked one of the guy at the reception to get me a customized bride to be cake as we were celebrating her. He went out of the way and served us. Really nice. Def recommended ! Their lentil soup is a must try and their kebabs!

This place is very clean, with great ambience and good service! The price is competitive. They have lunch buffet every day and dinner buffet on Fridays and Saturdays.

Went with friends and it didn't disappoint. I've wanted to come here for so long but I wanted to go with friends so that we could order more. They do have a buffet, but it seemed kinda small for me so we ordered off the menu. I absolutely love their hummus and I'd totally just go there to eat hummus with pita bread. It was so good. We also got it with chicken on top and it paired so well. The meat pie was delicious and like a small pizza. I got the combo shawarma rice platter with French fries. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. I honestly loved my dish, but side vegetables were slightly spicy which was unexpected. Large portion size for good pricing. I also bought a bar of their Dubai chocolate at the end but I wouldn't recommend it.

We stopped by Sababa Mediterranean Cuisine for a late dinner, just 45 minutes before closing, and were warmly welcomed inside without hesitation. At first, I was a little unsure since some restaurants tend to compromise on quality close to closing time—but not here. Everything exceeded expectations. The fattoush salad was wonderfully fresh, crisp, and full of flavor, while the chicken shish tawouk was grilled to absolute perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. The care and attention to detail in each dish truly stood out. Sababa has definitely earned a spot on our list of must-visit places whenever we’re in the Richardson area.

I have no idea how I've never heard of this place as an avid lover of Mediterranean food! This place has been around for 10 years and their food was nothing short of incredible! The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care! The ambiance of the restaurant is so relaxing and the staff were attentive. Highly recommend and will be back!

The food on the buffet is delicious. I enjoyed everything. I especially liked the hot sauce because it enhanced the flavor of the meats and rice. The salads were fresh and delicious. I even got a big slice of Tiramisu cheesecake for free because it was my birthday. Service was great. I can’t wait to tell my friends about it.

By far, my favorite Mediterranean restaurant! Food was perfect, service was on point, atmosphere was authentic. I appreciated that our server came by to check that our food was cooked perfectly! He also made it a point to talk about their buffet, which we will be back to try out, and was very hospitable! Genuinely great place!

This is a review only for takeout as I have never dined inside. Everything from the hummus with beef to the combo Shawarma plate is amazing and the pita bread is so fresh that you must finish it when you get it. I practically crave this place on a weekly basis. Decent amount of food for your money also and they have really good. Lunch deals like two for one salads. The only critique I would have is the combo plate needing a little bit more protein. I usually end up with at least four servings of rice and maybe.

I tried their Saturday lunch buffet. Choices are alright but I ddi enjoyed their falafels! Service is a bit slow for takeouts. Ambiance is quite nice! Baklava is very good. It is part of the dessert!

After two days of barbecue and TexMex, I needed something different and was pleased to see a few Mediterranean places near my hotel. I tried the lunch buffet here. It was small with limited options, but I left full. The coconut cake was great. I'm giving it a 3 because the pita was from a bag. If you're going to do Medi, the bread's gotta be great.

Wonderful customer service. I went into the restaurant at 7 PM, hoping they could cater a lunch event for me for the following day. They helped me identify a menu within my budget. Well the food arrived today and let me tell you it is a hit. Everyone is enjoying it and this will become a staple in our food ordering cycle.

Food was great, always been tradition to eat lamb on Easter this place had it on the menu so of course. I was out of town and didn't want to break tradition. The food was fantastic definitely will go back when I'm in Dallas again

Ordered as a last minute lunch due to another restaurant in the area not having what we ordered and was canceled. Sababa came through for the team! Not only was the food hot and fresh it was so delicious! I received so many emails stating that this was the best med meal they've had in awhile. Thank you guys for pulling through on our last minute order and for turning what was a bad morning from another restaurant to a good one! You guys are awesome! We will order from you again!

I had ordered from uber eats the viral Dubai chocolate strawberry cup that costs 19.19 and they gave me a chocolate bar that costs half. This has already happened twice

Some cucumber salad was bitter, I let the stuff know about it. The y switched to a new one immediately. Great customer service!

Authentic Mediterranean food in an upscale casual setting. They have a beautiful covered patio and a large indoor dining area as well. We stopped in for lunch on a recent trip and were blown away by the delicious food. Pretty much any Mediterranean dish or dessert you order here will likely be better than anywhere else you've had it, unless maybe you have someone who knows how to make it authentically at home. Lunchtime can get busy, because of the convenient location near other Middle Eastern businesses. Worth a drive to check it out. Wish we had one in Austin!

We came in late night and were pleasantly greeted by our server. Food came out fairly fast. The restaurant itself is clean. The staff is attentive to keeping the tables bussed fairly quickly. We had the baba ganoush, gyro wrap, beef skewer wrap, lentil soup and Nutella baklava. The food was delicious excellent. All of it!! We will definitely be back when we are in town.

First of all, the service is wonderful.. We came on a Sunday, so no buffet... but the food was so delicious and fresh.. We had the chicken Shawarma, baba ghanoush, hummus, tabouli salad, meat pie, and a kebab.. all of which was amazing. We also left with the baklava cheesecake, and oh my goodness, YUM we will absolutely be back

Love this place! Decided to try this out and the food had much better quality than Dimessi's even tho there were less selections, we didn't feel like we need more. Some ppl mentioned they didn't like the buffet* trays food were low but we found that the food was always fresh because it was refilled more often that way. Affordable price, great ambiance, service was amazing as well! Would definitely come back!

Just ate at the buffet and it was the best tasting food ever!! The breaded fish, cabbage salad, chickpea salad, and pasta salad were my favorite. Each dish had its own unique blend of spice and flavor that complimented each other, then I had the Carmel dessert which was light and fluffy. The service was friendly and kind, we even took some coconut dessert home. The added bonus to such an amazing buffet was to see how clean the restrooms were, you could tell that a lot of effort was put in to make it that sanitary. I am excited to go again in the future!

Food was ok but just ok. Service was slow & they rarely came by to refill our drinks.

Loved this place. We came for lunch buffet on the weekend and I was surprised to see there aren't a lot of items like most buffets have. But there are just enough items to have a good variety and not be overwhelmed. I feel like this is why they are able to focus for in food quality and I've got to say that their food quality is top notch. Everything seems to be cooked fresh and on point. They have a variety of desserts. Kunafah is made fresh so you have to wait for it. I like how they have traditional food items plus one or two bbq type items. When we went they had brisket and it was so flavorful and cooked just right. We already decided that whenever we have people come to visit, this is a spot we will be bringing everyone.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I ordered delivery this week and everything tasted spectacular. I have never had an issue with any food I have ordered for takeout or delivery. I ordered a Gyro sandwich which had heaping amounts of meat and was big enough to split between two people. The dolmas are just to die for. They are so healthy and delicious that I could eat a platter of 10 dolmas in one sitting. It's just that good! And finally, it's important that I get my baba ganoush fix. Sababa's has the perfect texture and flavor for dipping pita bread into. I have tried baba ganoush at several other places, but they either tasted like peanut butter or was lumpy. I'll have to try some other dishes but their gyros, dolmas and baba ganoush are tough to pass up! If you have not tried Sababa or even mediterranean food, then I promise you will not go anywhere else.

Service was excellent and food was very good! We especially enjoyed the chicken shawarma and rice. The tzatziki sauce served with the gyros was delicious. Finished off perfectly with Arabic coffee. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

Very disappointed. It was our first and last time. Very horrible service and experience. I wouldn't recommend anyone. Plus price scammers. Horrible food. Very few dishes and the taste was no were to Mediterranean. Seems like restaurants owner isn't serious about his business.

When we first moved to the DFW area, Sababa was one of the first restaurants we ate at. Since then, they have remarkably improved (especially with their weekend buffet) and it is now one of our favorite spots. I'd recommend going here on weekends for the lunch buffet, it's 9s/10. ------------ They have a really good selection, with different special items every week. This time we went they had fresh kunafa and dolma (stuffed grape leaves). My favorite was the slow cooked brisket they had (9/10 flavor). It was a little cold, but we asked them to heat it up for us and they did it for us. Honorable mention for their mushroom soup, it was flavorful and had little pieces of mushrooms in it. You can tell they make everything fresh, it all tastes amazing. Price: $20/person which is really not bad considering the selection you get.

We went here for the lunch buffet during the weekday during the team meeting. If you are looking for selection, this place is not it as it is pretty much not too much variety. The next thing is see if the food was good. Well pretty much I found the meat to be very dry and overdone especially the chicken and kabobs. I did not eat too much. I would have to say service was great as the waitress filled out drinks and made us happy and attentive. The only thing I really moved was the deserve. Price wise you can not complain as it is $15 dollars and no tax. For dessert, I did love the rice pudding and the fruits and probably my favorite part of the buffet. There are other Mediterranean buffets that are out there and I rank this one the lowest.

Came in for lunch. It wasn't busy at all we were seated right away. Looks to be family friendly and cozy setting as well. The food was soo good! Very flavorful and delicious! Service was great! Staff were very welcoming. Definitely will be back!

This used to be a good restaurant. The style of the food has changed. Only those who have been regular customers would know. Also I ordered a dessert that was dry and I sent it back but I was still charged for it. I don't eat here anymore. Their staff changes quiet often and that speaks volumes.

The food is so great, I forgot to take pictures! I come to Sababa often and the experience has always been excellent. From the friendlyness of staff, to the decor, to the music selection, it was a win-win. They have one of the cleanest buffets ever with a giant gold sign that says, "PLEASE DON'T WASTE FOOD!" I signed up for their customer appreciation emails and text to receive monthly discounts. I got a free meal for my birthday in 2022! As a Chef, it's always a pleasure to go to a restaurant and have an incredible experience. When you eat there tell them Chef Aundre sent you.

Delish! Didn't disappoint. Everything was tasty and fresh and the service was great. I tried their watermelon tea, which I've never had before and I absolutely loved it. Only thing is I wish the food was labeled. There were some items I was clueless about it and didn't try because I didn't want to be wasteful. We had a Nutella baklava desert which I wasn't a fan of out my boyfriend throughly enjoyed.

I really enjoyed my dinner here tonight. The tabbouli was great. It had the perfect consistency and balance of ingredients. I had to add some salt for my personal preference, but it was otherwise excellence. The portion size could've been a little larger. The chicken tenders were a generous portion. My kid is used to a different shape than these flattened and large pieces of chicken breast, but they were still thoroughly enjoyed. The kafta, which I was recommended by the waitress, was delicious. It was very juicy and tender whereas I was expecting the typically dry kafta. The presentation was very nice with the sumac and onions, although the kafta could've kept its shape better. The rice was super buttery and smooth. It was cooked to perfection. The side vegetable medley was a pleasant surprise and very good. It had a sweet and spicy sauce coupled with the umami from the mushrooms. I really liked it. The overall portion size for the kafta was very generous, as with the tenders. Each one could've fed two adults or two kids, respectively. There were a few things about their customer service that could've been better like offering me water. After I asked, my kid didn't get any until I asked as well. Napkins and water weren't replenished. When I was given boxes, I wasn't provided with a bag to carry them. I heard good things about their knafeh so went for it as a sweet ending to the experience with a side of black tea with fresh mint. I would've preferred the tea have been served with the knafeh rather than before it so they both would've been hot at the same time. I even took out the tea bag so it wouldn't be too bitter from being brewed for too long. Now, the knafeh was very good! It had the right amount of crispiness, the stretch was fantastic, it had a balance of cheese that was traditional, and it wasn't smothered in syrup because the knafeh needed only a little. It speaks for itself. This is my new go to place for knafeh in DFW. I'll definitely be back here again and thank the very friendly staff.

Ask for Rhonda !! She was great. Came for the weekend brunch. Rib, brisket awesome and the Falafel was the best in Dallas. Baklava was the perfect ending. Roasted potatoes were seasoned really well and perfect side dish along with the simple salad and olives. Giro meat was not dried out like so many. Definitely coming back.

Service is good but the buffet is overpriced for a very limited selection. The kebabs were dry, and four of the dishes were beans and salad or a different version of stuffed grape leaves. I think if your going to charge 16+ try to provide a variety.

This place has delicious buffet. The atmosphere is formal. I would go back. Its kinda pricey but its worth it.

Sababa is a wonderful place to eat. I've eaten here for years and when I want a good shawarma or some hummus this place is a good go to. I also like their salads and falafels.

The feast for two you will not regret, for 50 dollars you can choose two appetizers, two entrées, and one type of dessert for two, the service was great definitely the best of the best, I would choose the chicken shawarma if I were you.

Wow, I just sat down for lunch with my wife. We loved everything we put on our plate. And then! And then!!!!!! We got the holy grail of food surprise. Baklava cheesecake, blew my mind. This will be a new staple for us. Thank you Sababa!

This place is good when you eat there. For whatever reason, when you order food to go or get delivery through a service, the food is always terrible. So please make sure to eat your food at the restaurant! It's such better quality!

NOT RECOMMENDED!! The food at this place is overpriced for the average quality they carry. The biggest con is the service. Front desk and waiting staff lacks common courtesy and customer service. Dont go there if you belong to minority or have a family. The guy, Vlad, is extremely and consistently disrespectful and rude. This was my 3rd visit and his 3rd time delivering the same rudeness. On my 1st time carrying out, i gave him a benefit of doubt that they are about to close and he is acting under pressure and urgency. 2nd time, i was carrying out, i thought, he must be busy and they are understaffed. This 3rd and my last time, i was with a family and he showed his extreme true self and confirmed "he was raised this way and then trained this way" and then "the management supports his rudeness" too. Vlad has an accent but looks down upon people of color and accents. When i couldnt tolerate his ill-mannerism and asked for manager/owner, he and his co-worker lied on my face initially that manager and the owners are not here. When i insisted for name/number then his fellow co-worker bravely brought someone from the kitchen. The guy who came out never introduced himself and started faking the "neutral" and unapologetic apology. Vlaf doesnt get paid enough and doesnt get paid for cleaning your tables or leftovers and gets extremely annoyed if he has to do even a thing. Please self-serve, keep your tips to yourself, and avoid this establishment at all if you want to enjoy your bite. I paid $50 for an okay food and pathetic service. Go to Giovanni, Afrah, sofrah, kabobi, dimassi, tantuni, terra and find out what service and expereience of eating out is. NOT RECOMMEND!! Update: Lies from the owner in the reply. We stayed 25 minutes to explain the issue but no one was willing to show empathy or display common courtesy. Anyway, please dont give your "pest" services at a food establishment.

Wonderful Service from Nori. Food was really good. I'm not an experienced Mediterranean diner but I have had Falafel and I HATE IT. I loved it here. Changed my whole opinion of that dish and may never eat it again except here. The dips were excellent as well as the grape leaves. Pistachio Cheese Cake was a very nice ending. Can't wait to try the Ribeye next time. Very nice place with outside patio. Highly recommend.

One of the better Mediterranean buffets for lunch. The food is good and the selection is also good. I do get the feeling that they don't much like Americans in here and there is a lot of staring and glaring from both staff and customers alike. It is enough to make me uncomfortable enough to go much less often
