Google
Two of my girl friends and I tried this small shop earlier today on a whim and it did not disappoint! I wish I would have gotten the staffs’ names because they were so helpful, patient, and kind. We tried the wings, crispy rice, a fried rice, a soup, noodles, and a coffee. All very flavorful. We’re already chatting about what we’ll try next!

Lisa Caraway

Google
This a great quick stop to eat place. No frills and tasty bites. So far, I have had the Pad Thai wings, the Crispy Rice, and Badil Fried rice. They all are delicious. Good for quick dine in and pick up. All ages welcome.

Google
Finally a close by Thai lunch option… how has it been overlooked? Pad Kee Mow chicken spicy level 3 was superb! Chicken was so tender & full of spices!!! Will be my new go to when office schedule permits time to make lunch run!!!

Google
Very small place for a quick bite. I think it's better for takeout. Food was just ok to me and my friends. It's not very authentic and the menu selection is small. But the service was fast and the cashier was very nice. She took my order wrong but she was quick to correct it. 😊

Mercedes

Google
Very good food. Kitchen is fast. Not a ton of inside seating- more of a takeout/pickup place.

Google
I’m not a big thai food fan but based on the reviews I ordered the famous drunken chicken noodles and it perfectly lived up to my expectation. Portion is enough with lot of chicken and flavor. You will definitely thank me for the recommendation. I ordered the spice level to be 3 and it turns out great where I can experience all the taste and flavor

Tried this place out for the first time via UberEats on a Saturday evening. Ordered around 7 PM for a pick up order. The order was completed very quickly and it was ready when we got there about 10 minutes after ordering. Tom Yum soup with tofu - soup Flavor is pleasant. Tofu is fried tofu instead of soft tofu. There were no mushrooms despite me not saying no mushrooms. I requested new tomato, which there was no tomatoes, so that’s good. I stated zero spice and yet there is chili everywhere. Not very good at following instructions. Pad Thai with tofu - Flavor is very strange - Noodles taste…stale? Kind of pickled flavor. I think there’s some sort of vegetable that’s pickled. Doesn’t taste like a classic sweet and sour with chili flavor pad. Thai taste more like pickled vegetables with rice noodles. Stated mild spice level, but taste more like medium spice level. Pad See Ew with beef - Burnt flavor. WAY TOO MUCH CHAR. I don’t care for char, so I could not eat this. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed with us the time Yum soup, Flavor was pretty good, but they didn’t follow instructions properly. The pad thai was very bizarre - I think if anything, a thai pace should have a good pad thai, but this one clearly missed the mark. The pad see ew was a burnt mess. I ended up throwing it away. I would’ve given this place a 1/5 stars, but the Tom Yum soup was its saving Grace since it wasn’t horrible. Would not recommend this place, would not go back.

Google
Amazing experience. Great prices and nice, quick service. I loved the food! I liked the chicken pad thai ($10.99) more than the yellow curry with chicken ($10.99); the curry was great but the broth was not as seasoned as I would like. I am confident it was just the batch and I will try again. The portions are great and even had a little curry left over. They give a generous portion of plain white rice on the side too. There are several seats inside but they are only high top chairs. The only down side is there is no bathroom!!! I came to place a to go order and the server told me I would have to go to the race track across the street to use their bathroom, no ma'am hahaha. Keep that in mind if you want to go eat inside. Paid $28 after tip for 2 entrees. Recommend and will try again soon.

Yelp
Great location off of Lemmon. This location offers inside seating only and it's very limited, it's more like bar seating so I would say this location can seat about 8 people. The food was fresh and hot and not that expensive. The rice was $11.99 and the potstickers were $5.99. Taste was great and the service was friendly. I would recommend this location

Jenny S.

Yelp
The Thai food here is not bad at all. I was a bit surprised because the way the Pad Kee Mao looked in the pictures doesn't seem authentic to me. I ordered it in 3/5 spiciness, which was a mistake. Should've ordered 5/5! If you love authentic spicy Thai food, make sure to order in max spiciness. This place is mostly for to go orders. There were only a few chairs available for you to sit facing the window. Be sure to call ahead if you don't want to wait for the food :)

Rick C.

Yelp
All was good. Great place to have in neighborhood. Owner is very nice and talented. Everything I've tried was good. Sticky rice Rib tips Drunken noodles Pad Thai Wings All were good!

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Pad See Ew with Tofu Not bad, just solid pad see ew. Nothing lifechanging, but pretty yummy! Good noodles, good flavor

Yelp
This is just a review for takeout, so I can't comment on service or ambiance, but the food was incredible! I had been wanting to try this place for a while, but was scared to stray from my go-to Thai place. This place is definitely just as good! I can't wait to try more

Jessika W.

Yelp
I was hesitant to order here based on some of the other reviews -- so glad I didn't let them stop me. the basil fried rice was delicious and reminded me of this little mom + pop shop In Houston where I used to get basil fried rice. I went with the spice level 5 (the hottest) and it was the perfect spice for this creole girl. If you're in dallas + craving good basil fried rice, look no further!

Dawn H.

Yelp
Great take out place. They are fast and friendly. There really aren't a lot of dine-in spots but the food definitely hits the spot if you're looking for an easy, tasty dinner. Their menu is not super extensive but what they have they do well. One perk, if you live near, the food is always super hot, fresh from the wok.

Bobby C.

Yelp
Small portions, customer service sucks and the noodles are not fresh, but still edible.

David L.

Yelp
Bottom Line: I always order the same thing at every new thai restaurant to see how they master it and it's not what you think...it's called Pad See Ew. And this restaurant nailed it! It was fantastic. As a result of how good their pad see ew was, I'm pretty confident everything else is in the realm of great! Definitely recommend.

Catrina P.

Yelp
Quick and tasty!! Got yellow curry with shrimp and pot stickers! Delicious! Would definitely eat here again.

Tim T.

Yelp
Very good street food - got the meatballs or fish balls and one of the noodle dishes and the guy at the cashier threw in some free spring rolls to compensate for the wait, which was awesome. Will try to have a sit down meal later in their sweet interior decor as well. Recommended!

Loren L.

Yelp
This is my GO to spot. The food is on point every single time. Highly recommend! The staff is so friendly and the place is clean, just some added bonus points!

Anna S.

Yelp
I thought this was an actually sit down restaurant but it was a small shop with a few bar sitting area along the windows. They have very limited food selections - compared to the Yelp photo I saw? I got the Laotian blue crabs papaya salad and was not a big fan of the dressing nor the crab taste. It didn't feel fresh to me and you barely get any crab meat. I'm biased though since I'm not used to that flavor - maybe you might like it if you like your salad with seafood flavor. Wouldn't come back again but the staffs were friendly!

Nicole M.

Yelp
One of my FAVORITE spots when I'm in the area. The food is amazing and tastes exactly like how I've had it growing up. Anytime I am here at this particular place the e service is always great and the employees always go above and beyond. The restaurant has limited seating as they only have a bar seat area. So if you do want to eat there with kids, it might not be a good head. However, you can always take your items and find a park.

Yelp
after a long day, i wanted to get some asian food. unfortunately the first place i went to was closed and a customer there had recommended me to go here. food: 5/5 i got the pad thai at the spiciest level. at many places, when they say it's spicy, it's not. now this place knows what real spice is. i enjoyed every bite of it. service: 5/5 short interactions and simple. everything went easy and it was made faster than anticipated. ambiance: N/A it's a small place, not for dine in. there are some stools inside, but it is going to be hot which is understandable because the kitchen is big. definitely come if you want to take out and enjoy eating in your car or a movie night!

Sarah K.

Yelp
This place is my go-to for Pad Thai for years. I get food at least once a month here and the front staff usually knows me by name. Caters mostly to take-out as it is a small place but I live right by the location so it's easy for me to pick up on my own. If you order online or in store, they do make the food quick. Also would recommend the Thai Iced Tea and the egg rolls!

Kiawatha F.

Yelp
This food is AMAZING!! Drive worthy food location. I will definitely be back. Best Thai food I've had in a long time.

Sherelle L.

Yelp
Disappointed for sure. Did carry out for 2 items, Panang Chicken Curry & Sabaidee Wings . Let's start with the wings, you get 5 for $9 which the amount of wings were not mentioned on their menu. The wings weren't horrible, but they were not memorable either. The Panang Chicken Curry was such a fail. First, the amount of chicken and veggies was min which you can tell from the picture. They need to more coconut milk or cream. The curry was super watery. Also, the basils need to be chopped up more finely. The spice level was there, but the seasonings and flavor was not. I suggest you don't waste your time here.

Ron S.

Yelp
By far this is the best Loa Thai food in Dallas! The food is fresh and so delicious. Omg I worked all day and wanted a meal like this ! Thank you the my meal was delicious

Arina L.

Yelp
First time here and I didn't realize they have two locations. This location is on the smaller side. Only a couple of bar stools available for 10 people max. It was super hot and humid inside. The prices are fair. The pad see ew I got was really good! The noodles were soft and bouncy and they give you plenty of meat abs veggies. The Lao style papaya salad was a disappointment. It did not have the umami flavor I was craving for in a traditional Lao style salad. It tasted more like Thai style to me. It was one of bland and spice level 5 tasted like a spice level 2. I would like to try more options though at the larger location.

Kirk R.

Yelp
Horrible food, tastes stale like they reheated it. I've made better Thai food from a microwave.

Alena E.

Yelp
The food is really good here! I always get the drunken noodles & egg rolls. Best Thai food in Dallas

Melanie M.

Yelp
My FAVORITE thai food in Dallas!! It's delicious. The drunken noodles are amazing. The curries are all delicious as well. Highly recommend. Staff is nice. Limited seating available but so worth it. Very cute overall. Highly recommend!!

R R.

Yelp
Stopped in because I was getting a state car inspection next door.... This will now be a regular go to for Thai. Delish and great people.

Steve C.

Yelp
Horrible! Tastes like sewage not like Thai food. My bet is that they will soon be gon!

Danica A.

Yelp
This is such a great place to get some good Thai & Lao street food. My honey & I got the papaya salad, pad see ew, & red curry. Also, we got Thai tea as our drink. They were all delicious oh, & don't worry if you're nor a spicy eater; they have various spice levels to choose from. We love the vibe, & the staff was friendly. We will definitely come back again!

Guy H.

Yelp
In the Lemmon ave Inwood area on other business when hunger struck. Needed asian fast and these guys were close. Called in my order and pulled in to pick up hot sensational food in 10 minutes. Found one of my favorite parks in the area and enjoyed one of the best Curries I've had in along time. This is take out only. Wish these guys were in my part of town. Definite Go!

Gian Carlo M.

Yelp
Food: 2/5 Service: 1/5 Location: 3/5 My experience wasn't great the food wasn't good, and the customer service was awful.

Darlene E.

Yelp
This is a weekly stop for me! Love the fried rice - so awesome! Love the papaya salad!

Heidi M.

Yelp
Ordered takeout from Sabaidee Lao and it was pretty good. I really enjoyed the crispy rice wrap with minced chicken. Good taste and spice.

Nikki F.

Yelp
Dish is soy sauce heavy for basil fried rice. Price on online & restaurant menu is false/incorrect. I was charged $15 but the restaurant shows $11.99 (so with tax should be $12.98).

Anthony D.

Yelp
*Social Distancing flavored review* I was craving some noodles, and with everything that's going on in the world right now, I decided to try out a new place I've never been to -- Sabaidee. It's always been there but somehow I've missed it each time. They have closed off the inside of the restaurant to employees only, so you can either order online or curbside, meaning you never have to leave your car! Ever want to get fast food but want something higher quality? You can do that here! I made a couple orders online and came to pick them up. Their employees were all wearing masks and gloves and our transaction was a mere minute for them to grab the order from the counter. As for the food, I loved how they encased the food within foil to retain as much heat as possible for maximal enjoyment. There is a deceiving amount of food -- my eyes were very hungry and I ended up with an extremely full belly :). I have a decent spice tolerance, but I heard the spice levels can be intense, so I opted for a happy 2/5 medium spice level instead of my usual 3/5 or 4/5. It ended up being a perfect of spice while not destroying my mouth! Maybe next time I'll try the 3/5. Overall, highly highly recommend this place! If you've got some time, give them some business during this crazy time so they can still be open when things return to normal!!

Roma B.

Yelp
Casual Thai restaurant to order to-go from. Walking distance from my friend's apartment. Ordered the Pad Kee Mow and Veggie Egg Rolls. The egg rolls were very crispy and fresh, not overly oily. The Pad Kee Mow was a really good portion size. Lots of chicken and veggies. Was pretty authentic, very flavorful and filling. Excited to try their other dishes out.

Kate M.

Yelp
Everything here is so good. I am even on a diet and it was the first time I went out to eat and had many low cal options and lots of veggies was so happy. We have tried and loved the crispy vegetable eggrolls, wings, nam khao, larb salad, riblets, lao papaya salad, pad see ew, and yellow curry. Service is always quick and friendly. I can't wait to try the other curries, soups and noodle dishes.

JT V.

Yelp
Food was flavorful. We didn't know what to expect on vacation in Dallas, but wanted Thai food so we have it a shot. They have a small ledge with barstools to dine in but most of the patrons would order the food to go and come pick it up. The chicken fried rice was meal was soo good! I orders the drunken noodles, or as I know it, the pad kee mao, with chicken. They have a 1-5 spice selection when you order. We ordered our meals with a spice level 2. The only complaint was the noodles were a little over cooked, but the flavor was great. We definitely see why so many people choose to pick up their lunch from here.

Becca B.

Yelp
I lived in Hawai'i for a long time and have eaten at MANY Thai restaurants. Great place for Thai street vendor-type food ... a pick-up meal or a quick meal sitting at the little bar. Personnel very courteous.

San J.

Yelp
I love this place. I normal get the glass noodle or drunken noodles. I have literally tried everything and I have no complaints. If you like Thai food I highly recommend. You do have to wait a little bit cause it is made to order, which I love.

Shakil M.

Yelp
I love the food, but it's a carry out place. Try the Beef drunken noodles, I got a 4 hot, it was excellent. I also ask for more vegetables, something about this dish makes me happy, want to share with friends.

Sophia X.

Yelp
I really want to like this place more but recently it's been disappointing. I've had carry out quite a few times from here and they have some great dishes, but the portions and quality are really hit or miss. Their sausages and nam Khao are consistently good. Curry was a huge miss. We ordered the red curry with chicken and the order was 90% sauce with probably less than 5 tiny thin shreds of chicken and a few pieces of veggies, not even enough for half an entree. Rice was cold and tasted leftover. I picked up the order from the restaurant myself so there's no foul play with delivery. I forgot to take a picture but I've never received this little food for a full entree order before. I'll definitely be giving the nearby Thai/Lao restaurants a try and look for alternatives.

Ashley L.

Yelp
I dream of the Lao Fried Rice with Chicken. Used to get this at least 2x week for at least 2-3 years. Unfortunately, I'm now gluten free and didn't get a super confirming and confident answer from the staff on what exactly do they use in the dish that contains gluten i.e. what ingredients I needed to remove to make it gluten free. One girl said it's gluten free, the menu says another thing, and then a got a response from their social media team/person that I just needed to remove the soy sauce and brown rice (brown rice is gluten free naturally) so from all that, I got too worried and haven't been back. So sad because this place was a literal STAPLE in my life. Hope they can get some food allergy specialists/trainers to educate the staff and update their menus to make GF people feel safe ordering here.

Jon B.

Yelp
Not a fan! I've driven past this restaurant many times and finally decided to give them a try! I ordered through DoorDash and I only ordered appetizers because I didn't want to be over stuffed at 8 pm. I ordered the chickens wings and riblets. They were each $10. I got 5 wings that were super dry and flavorless. The dipping sauce (sweet chilli) was so watery it barely clinged to the chicken! The riblets were flavorful but dry and I literally got like 1 oz! I get it, costs are up but wow! I will not be a future customer.

Narun K.

Yelp
I had high hopes of this place. Ordered on door dash, had the Laos papaya salad and chicken lab. Disappointed in both. Laos papaya had some flavor, so ok. The larb had zero seasoning/flavor. As if they took chicken and drizzled some pepper flakes and green unions. Yikes. Do not recommend for authentic flavors.

Jonathan T.

Yelp
Official Southeast Asian brotha here. I would order from Sabaidee Lao again, but I would probably order differently next time. During COVID-19, this joint offers online ordering through Yelp. They also provide it on their website, but it seems to have a few bugs. ***** What I tried: * Larb Salad w/ Chicken ($9.99): Could've used a bit more herbs. Came with a quartered cabbage, which I used to devour the larb. Was it the best I've ever eaten? No. Did it satisfy my craving? Yes. * Sabaidee Wings ($7.99): Not over fried and goes well with the more-sweet-than-I-would-like fish sauce. * Thai Papaya Salad ($8.99): Comes with crushed peanuts instead of the crab claw and paste (Lao version). With medium spiciness, I liked it a lot. Fresh, intense, savory, and spicy - it had everything I wanted. (*Note: The level of spiciness is hotter than what one would consider a medium.) I would get this again. * Mango Sticky Rice ($6.99): The sweet, the indulgent condensed milk? The carb-tastic rice? Why would anyone not love this? Other tidbits: - They share a lot with other businesses. - On a Saturday, it only took them 20 minutes to prepare our food. They seemed friendly! - Overall, I'd love to support them again to try a few different things on their menu.

Dee B.

Yelp
The noodles in the pad see ew were overcooked and mushy instead of springy, and the chicken was *extremely* overcooked and tough, to the point of being difficult to chew; same goes for the chicken in the krapow, which was surprising because meat in this dish is normally minced. Two stars because the sauce in the krapow was tasty, but fiery hot (I ordered level 1 spiciness on a 0-5 scale and it was beyond a typical medium level, almost inedible for me).

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
An okay takeout order Sabaidee made. Perhaps it's due to the humidity in their non-air conditioned room, nonchalant was the service received on this early evening visit. The only welcome noted was from a flash of a smile through the kitchen window. Every dish was just fine. It would have been nice to be asked of how spicy I'd like when ordering, but he didn't. Ended with: 1) meaty "Garlic Chicken"; 2) dry and un-flavorful "Nam Khao", btw: the crispy lettuce being the highlight of this dish; and, 3) very sweet and with no heat "Panang Curry Beef". Mind you, dishes are freshly made-to-order; doubt I'll go out of my way here again, but when in area, it is a good choice for a fast and inexpensive meal! Cheers!

Alyssa M.

Yelp
Y'all gave me the completely wrong order. I ordered beef krapow and got some chicken dish instead. You guys are usually good about giving me the right thing, kind of disappointed that my order was totally off.

Yuki I.

Yelp
My friend and I got their food to-go, and it was absolutely delicious! I love Lao and Thai food, so I figured this would be a good choice! We got 2 curries and 2 soups - red and yellow curries + tom yum and tom kha, along with meatballs on a stick. I honestly liked ALL of these items, but my favorite would probably be the tom kha. It's very creamy with coconut milk and some veggies. I highly recommend this place for take-out! :)

Gabe B.

Yelp
Good food at what used to be an affordable price. Inflation has screwed everything. The food is good, but for the price the portions are inadequate.

Seyeon C.

Yelp
Really good with delivery! Food arrived tasty and hot. Ordered on doordash (receipt attached) Wings - crispy but a bit too salty Other menus were great, except they were not generous with number of shrimp in pad thai.
