Tony met with Singaporean- Malay entertainer and producer Najip Ali for Lontong (rice cake, coconut gravy, vegetables and hardboiled egg) and Mee Siam (fried rice noodles with chili paste, prawns, bean sprouts, and a spicy sweet and sour gravy, fried bean curd, and egg).

Hands down the best beef rendang in Singapore—and arguably the world. The flavors were rich, authentic, and unforgettable. I ended up eating here every single day during my 3-day stay in Singapore because I just couldn’t get enough. On top of the amazing food, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A hidden gem that deserves all the love!

Ordered nasi padang along with a few other dishes all were flavourful and satisfying. Staff were friendly and even helped bring the food up to the air-conditioned seating upstairs. Great service, enjoyable meal! Will definitely visit again!

Very unpleasantly served by a guy that literally ignored us. Food was very exp for 2 rice, 1 rice with 2 ingredients ( both base beef rendang) and 1 rice with 3 ingredients at $18.. the taste was decent but not worth the service and price. Aunty cashier couldn’t see the date of the transaction using mobile phone payment, i have to point to her the date and time of transaction.. at such place, setting and price they set, i expect better payment system

Simply wonderful - rich, savoury, delicious! And such a nice relaxed atmosphere. Price is higher than the norm - I know it’s subjective but the quality makes up for it.

The food and teh tarik were delicious. However, I came alone with a stroller and baby, so I couldn’t sit upstairs, which I believe is the quieter area. The cashier was playing Islamic songs in front while Indo radio was playing at the back — both at high volume. I just wanted a peaceful meal, but the overlapping loud music made it quite unpleasant. Maybe just pick one genre and play it softly. It would make the dining experience so much better. I came around 9:30 am, had a quick meal and drink, and left shortly after. Food is rice+chicken thigh(lemak)+sambal goreng pengantin and drink is teh tarik. Total spent: $14 Even though the food was delicious, I feel that a comfortable and peaceful surrounding is just as important to truly enjoy the meal.

While the food here is acceptable, it's far from the best and quite expensive. A meal for four, including just two meat dishes and four drinks, set us back over $70. Perhaps the high cost is due to the location. Well everyone has their own opinions. Just giving my 2 cents worth.

This is one of the many Nasi Padang places around North Bridge Road. It’s really good. I love that my favorite fried fish came with green chilli paste and they also served half salted egg instead of whole. The vegetables are well cooked and delicious. Overall it’s a great lunch.
