Sabatinos Authentic New York City Pizza

Real New York style pizza in a real New York style atmosphere. I've been in for pepperoni slices and every time they are perfect. Next time I want to order a specialty pie. I will definitely become a regular!

Got a Meat Pizza slice. A little on the expensive side, about $7 for a slice. Not bad but a little too much pizza grease when it flops. Good service though, quick and easy if u want a fast bite.

This is a little hole in the wall. A few tables outside. We tried several different slices. Flavor was a 10. Not very hot because they were slices and just reheated. If we had ordered a whole pie, probably would have been nice and hot. They sell out of certain types, but still plenty to choose from. Ranks pretty high up there on our scale and we will be back when we are in town.

I grew up in Brooklyn and this pizzeria took me back!Small, down to earth place with absolutely amazing pizza. Crust is thin, marinara is on point, cheese is stretchy and delicious. Definitely will be back!

chicken bacon ranch is amazing and the slices are the size of your face. great for the price. best for takeout because the inside is small. but no complaints at all.

The building is tiny and might have seating for a total of 6 people at a time inside and the same outside. There are 5-6 pies ready for slice orders and a massive menu with loads of customization. This place has great lunch specials which are advertised everywhere and provide you with a massive meal for around 10 dollars. The flavor is delicious, and the crust is a true New York thin. It's phenomenal. I might go as far to say that this is my favorite by the slice pizza in the world. Loved it!

Quick lunch spot. Solid NY style pizza and the garlic knots were great. The service was also excellent and the staff was super friendly. Definitely would go again for a super quick lunch in Charleston.

Small hole in the wall type shop with DELICIOUS Pizza and garlic knots. My daughter and I were in Charleston for 1 day, spotted this place and stopped in for lunch. It was so good that we ended up going back before they closed for another slice!! We had the garlic knots, chicken bacon ranch pizza and the chicken Alfredo pizza.

Sabatino's catered pizza and sides for my team of nurse's and it was fantastic! Everyone was thrilled and had full bellies. Thanks again! I will definitely look forward to eating their garlic knots and pizza again.

I was so hungry I forgot to get a picture! I stopped in around 9:45p for a slice after not having a satisfying dinner (imagine that). I ordered a slice of pepperoni and after about 5 mins or so, I had a piping hot, crispy slice of delicious pizza. The crust was awesome, as was the sauce, cheese and pepperoni. It was a little greasy, so I had to dab with some napkins. Ok, It was a lot greasy. The napkin was soaked in red delicious grease. Others who had some loved it as well. Great place to stop for a big slice. It's small, so seating is limited, but there was seating outside too. If you're staying at the Francis Marion Hotel, it's right across the street. Jaywalk to get there, don't waste a second waiting for the light!

Went to Sabatino's after an evening of drinking and it sure did hit the spot! My order was taken quickly, I got my slice heated in about 5 minutes or less and I liked that they had different drink options at really cheap prices! My slice of pizza was perfect! I def want to try the garlic knots on my next visit! I don't recommend sitting inside because it can get pretty smoky in there. But I will say it's a perfect spot for a quick and delicious bite of food!

An after-social pit stop with friends because the hunger was real. Sabatino's was right up our alley. Vero, Leah, and Kevin we're working hard behind the counter making individual slices for everyone as well as prepping orders from nearby college students. Luckily there was room for our party of seven to sit and eat and I'm sure we were very entertaining to them. They have a variety of pizza choices and drink options. I went with a veggie option of mushrooms, peppers, and onions. The pizza was delicious and everyone has good things to say about theirs. Thank you Sabatino's for satisfying our hunger needs!

We went here after a great night downtown. It was in the cut and definitely a little in and out spot. We sat inside but the smoke was bothering my eyes sooo bad. We got pizza and Liked that they had drinks like yahoo there (nostalgia). I didnt love my pizza but it was something to pass me over until I got home. It was just too greasy and tough. The service was nice and everyone was just very pleasant inside.

Dropped in close to closing time and chose a slice of pepperoni, a white slice, and Buffalo chicken to go with some garlic knots. The owner Kevin was kind enough to hook me up with some extra garlic knots and I'm glad he did because the family wolfed down the extra knots in record time. The slices were great, the knots were better, and the service was top notch. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, they have Mountain Dew Baja Blast and they play the best hard rock music so add an extra star if you appreciate the finer things in life.

Good pizza. Inside is veru small, but has 3 or 4 small tables. Expect a little smokiness inside. There are also a few tables outside on Calhoun St. Pizza hit the spot and eas priced decently.

Did the lunch special 2 slices and a drink 8.99. We got a bottle of water instead of soda. The pizza is really floppy, greasy, and with way too much oregano. Was the closest pizza to our hotel. Definitely large slices!

In town across the street at hotel, had to try this place as a former new Yorker. It was good, little too floppy perhaps for the first few inches, but taste was good and I enjoyed immensely, best slice I've had since I was in Manhattan a few years ago, must try!

Really good slices of pizza that truly do remind us of home (NYC). Love the pizza eating instructions on the wall. Two cheese slices will set you back $9.50, and you can get a drink by upgrading to a meal for $10. Def not NYC prices for cheese as others have noted. The space is small and poorly ventilated but the slice is good and staff are kind. Would return for sure

Would not recommend! Poor customer service. Would give a zero if possible. Stayed across the street at the Francis Marion. Would only sell pizza by the slice even though we were buying enough for a whole pizza. Was with my pregnant sister and mom for her birthday. Not enough seats outside and no one sitting inside because it was too Smokey. So five of us stood on the curb and ate our pizza. Taylor "help" us. Unfortunate because the pizza is good just poorly ran. Unkind.

Now this is some real NY pizza! Take it from a New Yorker. The slices are massive, thin, crispy and chewy. We ordered a large 18"cheese and it did not disappoint. We placed a delivery order through Uber eats and I had to call in to clarify a detail. The woman on the phone was pleasant and accommodating. Now back to the pizza. The sauce is also delicious. The pizza is a bit on the cheesier side but hey, who doesn't like cheese? Simply delicious!

I got take out so I can't review the service or atmosphere. Having said that, this was probably one of the worst "New York" style pizzas I've ever had. There was no crust I mean zero crust. The veggie pizza had practically no veggies...just disappointing. The garlic knots and marinara were good enough. If you want to try a pizza that is New York style, go to La Pizzeria in Mount Pleasant

The sign outside says "Huge Slices". They don't disappoint. They have some of the biggest slices I've ever seen. I ordered the cheeseburger and all meat pizza slices. Everything tasted hot, fresh and flavorful. They have three lunch specials with two slices and a soda until 4 pm.

A great find in Charleston! Local...delicious...generous sizes...when in Charleston and want have an itch for something not southern, not expensive, but super delicious...check out Sabatino's! We tried the classic pepperoni and Hawaiian style, so nom nom!

Had a couple slices late night to go. One slice pepperoni and once slice cheese. Service was efficient and friendly. The pizza was delicious and really hit the spot. I would definitely recommend it for anyone staying in downtown Charleston needing a quick slice. The crust was crispy and had good leopard spotting.

I got the all meat Stromboli and the Italian lemon cake. Both were outstanding! The Stromboli was probably one of the best I ever had! Plus it was huge! I was not expecting that! The staff was super friendly and and super nice. It's a tiny spot but what they offer is huge! Loved it!!

Consider Sabatino's a good local place to grab a slice on the run. On the College of Charleston campus and close to King St,, it's a good place to eat if you're in the area. The slices are HUGE! Don't order two thinking one might leave you hungry. Apparently they are open late night, but I haven't visited them during the evening hours.

Wife and I had pepperoni slices. They were amazing. Not over poked just enough flop and the 2 slices filled an entire pizza box. Everyone was super nice and the vibe was fantastic. Recommend this place to anyone looking for arguably the best pizza in the low country.

As a New Yorker, this is the only pizza I'll eat in SC. My daughter travels 100+ miles every month from U of SC to get her pizza fix.

Leaving this review on behalf of my son : The Chicken bacon ranch pizza slice was delicious! Well priced for the size of the pizza slice. The staff were friendly. Overall good spot for grab and go but wouldn't dine inside; not the best ambiance.

I wish I could this pizza place 10 stars! The owner was friendly and considerate, the folks behind the corner were smiley and the pizza!!! Hop guacamole!!! SO SPOT ON PERFECT!!! I have eaten a TON of pizza from EVERYWHERE (including home made by yours truly!), and this was exceptional. Made from scratch, 14" of absolute deliciousness! The crust was crispy on the edges, the sauce was sweet yet tangy, the sausage was thick circles of salty yum and, of course, a touch of pineapple! I'm only sad I live in Texas!!!

Stumbled across this gem in downtown Charleston! Excellent pizza (by the slice or whole pies) and lots of delicious apps/sides to compliment it! Very little seating and no alcohol, so plan on getting it to go, but the service is great and food terrific! Slices are huge, so plan on sharing if u order more than 1!

Ok I'm from New York and I am very picky with my pizza. Not a single place (I've tried over 20) can even come close. It's a small place so I suggest ordering and picking up, however it's not designed to be a restaurant so no minus pints there. Hands down best Pizza in town. So if you're from the northeast and miss a good pie here and there, don't go anywhere else. The owner I believe is also from the Bronx so he knows what he's doing. If I could I would order everyday.

Ok..so it's a walk in pizza spot...hole in the wall but OMG....so dang good. Tasted just like NY...& I'm a jersey girl & that pizza was delicious...from the sauce to the cheese. We ordered 4 of their largest pies...so worth it.

We got the pizza back after after waiting an hour, which wouldn't have been so bad if they got our order right. We ordered one large pepperoni and cheese pizza, cheese sticks and one small meat lovers. The cheese sticks and meat lovers were great. However, once we walked back to the room we discovered we had a large pizza with anchovies, spinach and some other things we don't eat and didn't order so that was disappointing. Was really looking forward to that pepperoni and cheese. We are currently sitting here heating up the pizza in the microwave. Was looking forward to it until this happened.

Best pizza in Charleston especially if you are a fan of NY style. Great location right off king st.

It worked for a late night snack after a long day of traveling from WA state! Literally a 30 second walk across from the Francis Marion hotel... 3 HUGE slices for $12... I'd say hit this spot after the bar for sure (I bet you won't be hung the next day!) It was cold by the time we got back to our room tho....

I believe this is one of the best pizza places in town. They are always consistent, fresh tasting, and always friendly. The picture is not their staple pizzas they always offer but a custom one. Their staple pizzas are great.

Yes, Sabatino's is where you go to get "Dinner #2" after a long night (or day) of drinking. GET, OVER, IT. Thin, greasy NY style slices dipped in ranch will help you with your walk uptown after dancing your ass off. Price point and portions are appropriate for right off King after 2AM. The best thing about Sabatino's, however, is the staff. They deal with a LOT of obnoxious drunks, yet everyone keeps smiling and cranking out pizzas. And yes, we'll be back next weekend!

Right across from Francis Marion hotel and open late, this is the perfect stop for late night pizza! We ordered a medium which was HUGE. The biggest medium I've ever seen(how they could make a large or extra large is beyond me!!). It was only $19 for this massive people that could feed a family. If you are staying nearby and want something to bring back to your hotel, I'd recommend calling in a pizza order here!

Called to order a pizza for delivery at 5:15pm. Told to use Uber Eats. Order through Uber Eats. Delivery ETA 6:10pm. $7 in additional fees and a request to tip at $5 (...for a $25 pizza). Note: tip applied before actual delivery. 6:20pm no pizza. Uber app now says latest delivery is 6:40pm. 6:45pm no pizza. Uber app coincidentally not responding. Call Uber Eats for assistance and told to contact the restaurant. 6:50pm call Sabatinos to cancel. Sabatinos does not have record of order and bounces me back to Uber. 7pm stone cold pizza arrives and it's lousy. Don't waste your time or money. This is simply pathetic!

PIZZA WAS SO GOOD. Husband and I were walking around the shops and wanted an adorable quick dinner and stopped in here for a slice. Massive slices and some of the best pizza I've had. There's not a lot of seating, it's more of a pick up and go place but we know if we lived there we'd be ordering from them often. Service was quick!

Good pizza, big slice. Crispy lots of seasonings. It was very small so I would recommend waiting outside & doing takeout. They put cheese on the salad so if you don't like that don't get it. Also I don't give 5 stars because the cook has a large beard with no cover, no hair nets. The vents looked dusty too.

Sabatino's! By the slice or by the pie! I got the slice and dressed it like I wanted and it was absolutely amazing. The pizza guy and the order taker girl were super awesome and super accommodating. i'm a red sauce guy for sure. It was great! And no, I had not been drinking beforehand! ha

We chose this place based on the reviews of other pizza shops in the area and it didn't disappoint. We picked up slices right before they closed. They didn't offer to make us the pie we wanted (our fault for coming so late) but the bbq pizza with chicken and pineapple and plain slices were awesome. I was a little worried about their price per slice but each slice was MASSIVE! The pizza was made how I prefer... thin and crispy. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for quick easy good pizza.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever had! This place is by far a must visit while in Charleston. I'm giving 5 stars for the food and service alone. The only issue that I had was that there was no ramp entrance for my daughter's wheelchair. Luckily my husband was there to lift her up. They do have a window where you can order from outside, but we wanted a place to sit and eat. The inside was nice and had a lot of NY photos and a nice painting of the NY skyline. Check them out if your in the area.

The best pizza in Charleston. Don't waste your time anywhere else. I'm from the Northeast and moved here 5 years ago searching for the best pizza. I finally found it. Perfect thin crust, baked to perfection, great cheese and pepperoni. Trust me here folks. I've been all over CT, NJ, PA and NYC...... like they always say you've tried the rest and now try the best!!
