Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge

This was our first South African safari. We could not have chosen a better place to be. The lodge is beautiful and fabulously designed. The rooms are luxurious and huge with an amazing private outdoor terrace. The general manager Marco has a fabulous team - without exception everyone was welcoming, so helpful and looked after us so wonderfully - delicious food served by such lovely people; wonderful laundry and housekeeping …everyone we met was delightful. All that would be a beautiful experience on its own…but add in spectacular safaris and it was a truly wonderful visit. We were lucky enough to have Creamson and Eric as our driver and tracker - a delightful team who worked so hard for us. Their work was rewarded by exceptional multiple sightings of the big 5 over 4 days, and many other wonderful animals. Thank you Marco to you and your team. Thank you Creamson and Eric for some wonderful memories!

This Safari Lodge is outstanding in every aspect. The way it blends into the natural environment but is also understated sophistication. The hospitality is first rate with warm, intuitive service at every touch point. The food and beverage offer is excellent. The team here are brilliant across the board. Then there are the safaris ! The guides are the best and we saw all the animals! Couldn’t recommend more highly .

Wow. What an extraordinary experience! My time at Earth Lodge was truly life-changing and offered a series of revelations we will cherish forever. It's challenging to pinpoint where to begin because each moment spent there was more incredible than the last. One of the most striking aspects of the Lodge is its staff; many of them have dedicated four to thirty years to their roles. Their passion for their work shines through every interaction, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their guests, making you feel both welcome and valued. Now, let’s talk about the food—it absolutely deserves a special mention! Each day, guests are treated to three lavish, multi-course meals that feature a remarkable variety of options. The dishes are crafted with fresh ingredients bursting with flavors that I would have never envisioned. Every meal felt like a culinary adventure, showcasing both creativity and a deep respect for the local cuisine. The game drives are nothing short of breathtaking and profoundly inspiring. I was in awe of the majestic wildlife—seeing these magnificent creatures up close in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience. The sheer scale of the landscape is overwhelming, with approximately 200 million acres where the animals roam freely, all while being protected by dedicated conservation efforts. Each drive offered a new opportunity to witness the beauty of nature in all its glory, leaving us with memories that will last a lifetime.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Stayed here on my honeymoon and was amazed by the unique design of the lodge, the quality and friendliness of all the staff (chef, lodge managers, waiters, cleaning staff).||My ranger was Doc and tracker was Trevor, we wi always remember them. Doc is so knowledgeable about any bird, mammal, or tree you may encounter. We had so many amazing game drives over our 4 days. I looked forward to each one. We saw lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffe, rhino, and many more. We saw all of them multiple times and we even went off-roading to track some leopards and lions down at times which was so much fun. The morning coffee and afternoon happy hours were a great touch.||Food quality at every meal was on par with high end restaurants. Chef Mercy also cooked up some chicken broth and rice for my wife when she needed some more plain food. Dinner rotates locations each evening and you get to experience many lovely set ups. You can request anything and they’ll do their best to accommodate.||The rooms themselves are spacious and great for relaxing between or after game drives. Pictures don’t do them justice.||Marco and Alta, the lodge managers, are very eager to cater to your every need and are very responsive.||We did not know if this would be our thing, but my wife and I cannot wait to come back in their winter time in the future.

We've spent a week in South Africa in different lodges but Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge was definitely our favorite one in terms of food and service quality. The only thing that could be even more incredible would be to have a panoramic view on a river or something similar. It is not the case for this property but the rest is exceptional: the quality and luxury inside the lodge, the food options, the quality of the game drives... We cannot recommend them highly enough

Top notch facility, excellent service and all inclusive with excellent food options. Twice a day safari tours that will be tailored to your wants and experience. Facility is beautiful and right in the bush - had elephant sightings right outside our room. Highly recommend especially taking the Community Tour as well to learn about the local culture.

Hello you wonderful people! We just stayed 4 nights at the Earth Lodge. What should you write about so many perfect things? Simply that it was just one of the best experiences we have ever had. Starting from the perfect service in all areas, the insanely good food to the suites that are really unmatched! The elephants, monkeys and impalas at our own pool ..... The wildlife we saw on the safaris with Vivian and Benny was just crazy for me as an ambitious hobby photographer!! The two were super class! Thanks again! We had to move on again after 4 days with a heavy heart...... thank you again to everyone involved and employees. Mitch and Sandy

I would give them 6 stars across the board if I could. The place is simply gorgeous - not ornate or glitzy, just simply gorgeous. The service is spectacular, the people are incredible and the experience is out of this world.
