"Definitely one of the coolest restaurants in town! On the eighth floor of a newly built section of the airport, the incredibly high ceilings, chic interior design, two large glass-fronted wine cabinets and stylish bar are really impressive. The menu features French-inspired cuisine, with an additional lunch deal available daily and brunch served every Sunday. The rooftop terrace has to be the highlight! Tip for motorists: park in Parkhaus 4, south exit." - Michelin Inspector

Oh dear, that an experience. Booked table online, easy and no hassle. Arrived, welcomed by the chef de service, by tram since parking is difficult, ordered some drinks and started enjoying the interior. Sablier is the roof top restaurant at the circle at the Zurich airport. We ordered the duck, venison and the fish soup and oh boy, incredible, one of the best dishes we had in some time. Incredible fresh and flavoures. We also just had their house red wine which was amazing and good priced. Everyone had a dessert too which was following in the steps of the main course. My belle hellene was one of the best desserts I've ever had. In my eyes only drawback is the rather small portions, some space for improvement really. We spend roughly 400 which is very good for the venue and food. +Tasty +Fresh + Great service +Good atmosphere -size of portions could be bigger

I had a layover in Zürich Switzerland, and was looking for a fun place to have dinner. Sablier did not disappoint. They had a very extensive wine menu and a pretty exotic dinner menu. I had the red deer which was so tender. The pumpkin soup with ravioli was also delicious. But the staff was so accommodating and very friendly.

Honestly, probably one of the worst dining experiences we've had while abroad. We were staying in a hotel nearby and was excited to have a place on the Michelin Guide so close, so this was such a disappointment. We had a table of 4 with a reservation. One ordered the 4-course menu with wine pairing while the rest of us ordered one appetizer to share and one main each. We were told there would be a wait because of the 4-course so that she'd have her 2 courses first then we'd all get our mains together. This was totally fine! We understood. Our appetizer came out along with her first course the followed by her second. Everything was great so far. Our server was amazing. However, after this, everything went completely downhill. After 2.5 hours, 3 other tables who were seated after us were given appetizers and entrees AND 2 completed them. Right next to us was a 5 top seated after us and they had full appetizer, mains, and dessert before us. To top it off, my husband ordered the octopus and it was not edible. Overcooked and rubber. I ordered the steak medium rare and it was cooked medium well. The bouillabaisse was more of a chowder than traditional French. The 4-course main was bland. It seemed like everything had been sitting under warming lights and overcooked. Basically, after a 2.5 hour wait, the mains were just so-so or inedible. Our waiter finally took our dishes and didn't ask why we didn't finish half of them. We asked for the check and to skip the last course and wine of the 4-course as we didn't know how long it'd be and didn't want to be there for 3+ hours. It was close to 10m already and had to get up early. We also asked for the octopus to be taken off the check as it was inedible. We were hoping to also get a portion of the 4 course refunded as well, but this did not happen. Overall, a waste of $500+ and time and would NOT recommend this place.

Possibly one of the most beautifulest rooftop bars in Zurich - already when entering, Sablier impresses design wise with it’s thoughtful attention to detail. From the ambiance to the decor elements and even plateware, everything feels intentional and cohesive, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. Not only were we amazed by the interior but also their incredible food and service. We tried their lunch menu and were absolutely blown away. Each dish was very visually appalling and had components in a unique order that blended beautifully together. Our favourite probably the chocolate dessert with cranberries and beetroot. Our servant for the day was Nikola, who was very friendly and helpful, giving suggestions as needed and respectfully fulfilling our wishes like for example bringing a second batch of bread. Furthermore, they had shown great pride working at this place, which we really appreciated. The team definitely knows what they’re doing and show to have excellent spirit with each other! Overall we had a really great experience and are looking forward to coming back! I can also recommend you coming here simply for a drink at the bar if you have a layover at the airport!

Great food - slow service - pompous design The restaurant has a very special taste when it comes to interior design, a bit tacky. Our food was very delicious and on point when it comes to spices. But the service was very slow, we waited for very long periods even though the restaurant was empty.

Was there for Valentines dinner with my better half. Food was delicious, my nut-allergy was taken into consideration from the start since I had warned them in advance and for courses containing any tipe of nuts there was an alternative for me. The servers were very nice, no long waiting time between courses and overall very good food and amazing wine pairing. Will surely come back to enjoy some culinary pampering again. A big thank you for the delightful night to the staff & chef.

Amazing atmosphere and good food. The restaurant is modern with a classic touch, incredible interior design. Unfortunately all 3 open wines we tasted were well over oxidized because they keep them in Magnums, this was a big disappointment. The cocktails were very nice. They really need to check how they serve the open wines as this is unacceptable.
