Sabor A Malibu food Truck

I recently stopped by Sabor A Food Truck in Malibu and had an absolutely fantastic experience! Their veggie burrito was a standout—generously portioned, packed with fresh, vibrant ingredients, and bursting with flavor. Friendly enough staff and the service was quick. The beachside vibe made it even better. If you’re in Malibu and craving something delicious, Sabor A is a must-visit! Highly recommend their veggie burrito for a satisfying, fresh meal.

We love Mario! My family needed water while camping at Leo Carrillo but the store was closed. Mario parks there on Saturdays. He had closed up but gave me a liter of water for free! I tried to pay but he insisted. Haven’t had a chance to try the food YET. I’m sure it’s fabulous if I guy like that runs it.

I'm giving it a 3 for now, there were no more eggs to make a breakfast burrito. That's a big bummer. But I will say, the Malibu Burger was really good. Comes with fries. I'll update my review next time I come.

My standard taco stop in through Malibu now. Been here 3 times and have never had a bad taco. All the meats I have had have been tasty, and the salsas really completed them well; the green salsa was especially good, being both sweet and sour, it was pretty unique. Looking out over the cliff while eating was pretty dope. I will update to a better review when I have tried more of their options.

Awesome made-to-order Mexican food. Thank you for the care you give. But! Man it takes long...about 20 minutes for 4 small tacos. However! The burrito was OUTSTANDING! And the salsa/sauce was amazing. Cashier could be a bit friendlier but I understand how working in a food truck all day might get tiring. Stay positive! Your food is great :)

Got to give a 4 because my burrito has more rice than the rest and I do like that they prepare the food and not have it ready like other places they have meat stacked ready. Their stake is really good. Just the service of the meal is alot of rice and I hate rice In that amount.

Came on a super windy day- truck looked closed but they were open, thank god! Just closed due to super strong winds. Fish taco and shrimp burrito were fresh and hot!!! Also spotted a ton of dolphins. Overall a very positive experience.

It was possibly the finest thing I've ever done for myself to stop by this food truck! The window clerk was incredibly kind and cordial! The tacos I got were absolutely the best tacos I've ever had, so while the wait was a little long, it was worth it! They are very wonderful! Thanks a lot!

Took AN HOUR for bland carne asada fries while food was being handed out to people who came after us. Terrible customer service, no communication and no apologies.

Terrible ... Terrible... rude cashier. Like Is this for real? I am still in utter disbelief. They were at Madewest Brewery in Ventura and thought when I saw it promoted, I'd support. Boy was I wrong. It all went downhill .. when I asked what type of steak they had and the cashier answered, " Steak.. it's steak." I clarified, I mean what cut is it, ranchera, lomo, .. listed a few. She rolled her eyes at me and said " It's steak! It's steak!" While rolling her eyes a few more times. What in the world? Why must she be over the top rude? The cook heard her and he did not offer to answer my question nor did she turn to ask him. I am a foodie and love to know more about what I am about to eat. It was not an out of this world question. This food truck depends on people enjoying the whole experience from purchase to eating the food. I chose not to buy anything and instead ordered Toppers Pizza to be delivered to Madewest. My friend did order but her burger she said was just ok. The fries were no good. She did not finish it. She wasn't given any napkins so she went and had to wait awhile to get some. She stated the cashier gave her a ton of attitude too. I was genuinely excited to support this food truck but the cashier ruined it. I do not think I can support a business that allows their cashier to treat customers like this. I ask the owner speak to the cashier as to how she should treat customers or if the cashier is part owner or related to the owner or a friend of the owner, you are not doing anyone a favor. Positive vibes to this business, I really hope they turn the awful attitude around. This business will not survive otherwise.

Food is great . Will eat again and again . Service was kind and really enjoyed my burrito and fries. So good

Yooooo what is with the haters on the cashier of Sabor? She has always been nothing but nice to me and she always looks great with her lashes! If it's busy, which it always is, she was probably a little stressed out. That's a tough job! Also, I would probably be annoyed too if you were at my food truck pop quizzing me about the cuts of steak-- kind of annoying. Ok we get it. You know you butchery. Give her a little break guys- she is a person. And your at a food truck, not Nobu. This is literally the best place to eat tacos in Malibu, and all the workers and locals know it! You can actually get away with a quality lunch in malibu for under $50 for a small family. Look. There are some local rules with this truck. You have to go early if you would like a choice of the entire menu. Remember they are a food truck with limited room to carry and prep food items. And- this truck is super busy especially because every construction worker around comes here for early lunch since they wake up at the butt crack of dawn to get to work. So show up early or call in your order. The food. It's freakn delicious. The tacos are bomb (shrimp and Al pastor my fav). Everything is always fresh. My kids love the quesadillas (make sure to order with no cilantro and onions if you have plain Jane kids like mine). The chef used to work in high end restaurants and he knows what he's doing. It's a little greasy, but not so greasy you feel like a walking grease monster after. Most importantly, it doesn't give you bubble guts. So go enjoy order some food and enjoy the gorgeous ocean view for free! Totally worth it.

The costumer service is horrible. We were helped by the rudest women I have ever met. I'm never coming back to this place she made me and my friend feel horrible for asking questions about the menu and just being here seemed like it was bothering her. We were just trying to buy food.

Tasteless food, tasteless rice, no salt, and the service wow horrible. Four burritos that I would not even consider given to my dog that is how horrible it was. I do not typically write reviews but horrible service as well. This is not good Mexican food at all; if this were the case then let's just start saying Taco Bell is Mexican. *please, do yourself the favor consider something elsewhere.

Food was great but the lady in the front sucked. Supper yummy tho. We got 2 burritos (1 shrimp and 1 chicken), 2 tacos, 2 quesadillas (1 reg,1chicken) total was $45!! Great price

I ordered three of the carne asada tacos but wish I had ordered more, they were great! The meat was well seasoned and the sauce was a good touch. My favorite part was the jalapeño on the side, I liked the natural kick it gave the food. The price was pretty good, it was $2 per taco. There's also plenty of parking where the truck it located and you can take your food to the beach and enjoy it there. I would recommend you try it if you're in the area.

Yesterday I had my second in counter with this food truck (Casa ). The food was not bad but the cashier... terrible service. She seems like she don't want to be there to interact with customers. The first time I went she was rude so I ended up not even ordering anything this second time I asked what was in the food and she rolled her eyes. She will be the business' demise!

Food truck heaven with fabulous burritos and arapas. Pepper sauce is pure fire. Nice setting above Malibu Beach on Pacific Coast Highway

Best place!! Amazing tacos and quesadillas. We go multiple times a week. Must visit if you're in the area.

Delicious breakfast burritos! The jalapeños on the side gave it a perfect extra kick, salsa was flavorful and spicy. Lovely people, great service, good food! Must try!!! :-) We'll be back often!

Tacos were small, but tasted pretty good. They only have one salsa and it's okay. My brother got the carne asada fries and they were really good. Staff/customer service is surprisingly dull/lacking.

I visited this food truck yesterday and discovered that they were out of half of the items on the menu so I ended up ordering a half pound cheeseburger that turned out to be a quarter pound burnt to a crisp piece of leather. The food is bad and the lady at the window has a terrible attitude. Everything is priced about double that you will find it anywhere else so if you want to pay twice as much for a bad meal served by a grumpy girl this is your place

The tacos are the best deal. Vegetarian ones are decently full of veggies but not that flavorful. They do give you a lot of salsa and like though. The al pastor tacos were full of meat and a hit. I think that the tacos are a better deal than the burrito, but the rice in the burrito was very well flavored. Street bacon dog, of course, is delicious, but I'm not sure you can go wrong with that ever. A great cheap way if you're in Malibu, especially since the ocean views are beautiful!

I would like to give this a 3.5, I think it's a little better than a 3 but not a 4. We were excited to stop and eat here while driving along the PCH to Malibu. I ordered the burrito and my wife ordered a Malibu burger. The burrito was very bland and disappointing. The burger though was large and delicious. Get a burger if you decide to eat here. Unlike other trucks we've eaten at they offered no where to sit and eat.

I had Sabor a Malibu at MADEWEST .The food is good, but we got no napkins or forks, the customer services was horrible. When ordering, the cashier was very rude and it seems like she hates her job. Also, when getting the food, the same girl threw our food and left. A recommendation for the owner, always have someone with a good attitude at the register because it does not matter how good the food is if the customer service is bad, people wont go back.

Food is good...the cashier though has To go.....she obviously hates her job like come on no reason for the attitude...everyone I work with tells me that when they go she always gives them attitude as well

Stopped by for a Malibu burger and wife had a burrito. Lots of food for you money for sure. They have chips but no fries. They were stopped along side the PCH. Poor cell service as usual in the area so they could only take cash. Food and service was good.

I waited in line for 25 minutes, including watching the person taking the orders empty the trash out and not change her gloves after starting to take orders again, and after we ordered she said they were only taking cash. No sign anywhere. Extremely rude.

The Asada tacos were really good. I'd skip on the shaved ice next time. The strawberry syrup tasted like jelly mixed with water.

Phenomenal food and great people. We catch them whenever we can. Love, love, love. Found them by accident one day looking for another truck and never looked back. Catch em if you can!

Yesterday I was in Oxnard and I passed to Sabor A Malibu in the night. And wow I got the best Shrimp tacos and Fish tacos. And I got two tacos and a side of rice and beans for my daughter and she loved it. I also got a Malibu burger and fish and chips for my brothers and they love it. I just love this food truck
