Yelp
Yum-a-liscious. Nicely done, somewhat more fancy than street food and very flavorful. Interior has the typically uncomfortable Mexican style painted wooden chairs as are found all over Mexico. But the food will make you ignore the chairs and focus on commenting how good everything is.
Yes, there are drinks, margaritas come in classic, guava and other fruity flavors. Well done. Also have the line of the popular Mexican Jarritos, soft drinks that mimic fruit flavors. Refreshing and good.
Burritos and enchiladas come standard and with twists. Main dishes are a lot to decide upon. Take your time and your server can help you. Alambres ($20) are a notable street dish served in Mexico City, natives from which are known as Chilangos: grilled steak, bacon, choriso, bell peppers and onions, topped with Oaxaca cheese. House Chili Verde ($21) is slow roasted portk shoulder & ribs in a chiplolte tomato sauce. Very tender and lots of liquids that, to finish, you have to soak it up with fresh tortillas once you have spooned out as much as you can.
There is a kid menu and even a 5 taco variety plate. There are also some 2-item ($17) and 3-item ($21) plates and you choose.
In mild weather, they have a nice covered outside dining area.
Not cheap, but very good.
