Sabor Cafe

This place is a hidden gem. The food is amazing and worth your money. We ordered 1 English breakfast, 2 mushroom burgers with veg patty along with potato chips, 1 tropical fruit milkshake, 1 cold coffees and churro with chocolate sauce as dessert. The mushroom burger was finger licking. Only a superb chef can make a veg burger that tasty that we ended up ordering it twice. The ambience is minimalistic and cozy. I would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely loved this cafe! The peri-peri chicken sandwich was super tasty and full of flavor. The coffee was amazing, and the service was really good too. The cozy atmosphere and the games they provide makes it a perfect spot to hang out with friends.

A daylight robbery I would say: What we ordered : 1. Full English Breakfast for ₹550 + ₹150 coffee Assuming this breakfast would be sumptuous and filling we ordered only to get small/tiny portions of everything and only 1 slice of bread. The beans was super watery and not how we expected it to be. The roasted potatoes and the veggies was cold and lacked seasoning. The roasted potatoes, it was just some French fries pan fried, cold and lacked seasoning. 2. Mini English Breakfast for ₹450 The portion again was so less, the roasted potatoes were not roasted. It was just some French fries pan fried cold and lacked seasoning. 3. Pancake for ₹400 We had to wait for over 45 minutes for the pancake to arrive, it tasted ok but the portion of chocolate sauce for 3 pcs pancake way too little. 4. Cold coffee for ₹300 Not sure if it was a cold coffee or just milkshake, it did not have any taste it was warm, struggled to finish it. Overall Cafe Sabor was the most disappointing place we have visited in Goa so far, taste wise, pricing, and the wait period was too long. Sum up our experience in one or two words “Disappointed” and “unpleasant experience” A piece of advice: Please revise the pricing of the breakfast as the portions are less and not worth the price that is being charged. The food needs to be served hot and fresh, the taste of the food should be improvised. The service could be faster.

I have been a regular visitor at Sabor Cafe in Assagao, Goa for quite some time now, and it's about time I shared my thoughts in a review. This cozy cafe has become my go-to place for breakfast, and it never disappoints. The highlight of my visits has always been the Full English Breakfast, which is a hearty and delicious meal. The combination of perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, grilled tomatoes, and toast is a breakfast lover's dream. If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend trying their Norwegian hot dog. It's a unique and tasty treat that you won't find easily elsewhere. And when it comes to sweet indulgence, their pancakes and churros are simply delightful. While the breakfast menu steals the show, Sabor Cafe has more to offer. Their patties are undoubtedly some of the best I've ever tasted. Each bite is filled with flavors that leave you wanting more. It's a must-try for anyone visiting the cafe. The ambiance at Sabor Cafe is one of its strongest points. It exudes a sense of tranquility, making it an ideal place to unwind. The serene environment adds to the overall dining experience, allowing you to enjoy your meal in peace. In fact, I often find myself staying longer and even working from the cafe, just so I can relish two more meals there. To sum it up, Sabor Cafe in Assagao, Goa is a hidden gem for breakfast lovers. Sabor Cafe offers a decent experience. The atmosphere is nice with games to enjoy, perfect for hanging out with friends. Food is okay, nothing amazing but satisfying. However, the service was a bit disappointing as the person taking orders seemed rude. Overall, it's a good place for a casual hangout, but they could improve on customer service to make the experience even better.

We tried the NORWEGIAN SAUSAGE HOTDOG and GRILLED CHICKEN WITH VEGGIES. The hotdog was a pleasant surprise because of the caramelised fried onions. The sausage was a standard one though. The grilled chicken was prepared really well. The veggies and the fries complemented the dish. The host, Jack offered us a special dip to go along with it which elevated the tastes even more. We ended the meal with a generous portion of LATTE which energised us after the splendid meal. We had an amazing conversation with Jack with him telling us about his travel escapades and general life conversations. All in all, great time spent at the little cafe in Assagao.

Sabor is undoubtedly one of the best cafe's I have visited in Goa. The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The Banoffee pie is out of this world, not to forget the chicken wings. The owners keep up to the name of the Cafe Sabor, which means 'flavour', and they ensure each item served meets this standard. I only had space to eat these two dishes as the portions were huge. I will be coming back to experiment with other items on the menu. I also love the setup and the positive vibe of the cafe. Keep rocking.. Cafe Sabor... until we meet again!

One of the delightful surprises at Sabor are the cute handmade cloth bags & pouches available for purchase. These bags, offered at an affordable price, encourage patrons to be responsible and eco-friendly. It’s a thoughtful touch that aligns with the cafe’s overall charm and ethos. And then we meet Jack(I hope I got his name right): The Heart and Soul of Sabor At the heart of Sabor is Jack, the owner, whose warmth and hospitality make every visit memorable. Jack's & his friends passion for good food and great service shines through in every aspect of the cafe, from the welcoming smile to the attention to detail in every dish. A Must-Visit Cafe…you won't be disappointed!
