Love this place! Sabor has a lot of locations. Top 5 fast casual spot. Staff is professional and nice. You order at the counter and they will bring the food out to you. I recommend you get the $5 combo, add queso, chips and drink. Best!!!!!

So many salsa options! The interior is so colorful, the staff are really friendly, and super fast service. And the burrito I got was really fresh and flavorful.

Sabor Latin Street Grill on Hawthorne Lane is hands down one of my favorite spots! I always get the Tacos Authentico and they are seriously so good — fresh, packed with flavor, and just the right amount of everything. Every time I go, the food is on point. If you’re craving some amazing tacos, definitely give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This was not my first Sabor experience. Admittedly I came in with somewhat low expectations after my last experience at a different location. However, all that quickly went out the window. Our order was prepared quickly and exactly as requested. The food was delivered hot. Everything was very flavorful. There were no issues at all. As such, I now have a more positive outlook about the chain and would have no problem visiting again in the future!

My favorite regular restaurant! I eat here once or twice a month with a friend and the food is always 10 outta 10. Ask to have your burrito grilled!! Delish! Best plantains this side of the Mississippi!

I've been wanting to try this place. Finally ate a late lunch. Had the Charlotte's favorite fries...they were so good! The steak on them was spiced and blended great with the cheese, sour cream, guacamole and whatever else the threw on there...it filled me up...my daughter got a chicken empanada with a side of chips and salsa...had to test that too...very good! The place itself is small but they were doing a lot of carry out I noticed.

The food here was very tasty. While waiting for my food to be prepared I was sampling their homemade hotsauces. The hot sauce selection was excellent. My favorite was the "green monster." The taste of cilantro was The tacos were excellent as well. As were the burritos. The cashier was friendly. I enjoyed my meal here!

I've been to the Tega Cay, SC location before. This is essentially Mex fast food. Nothing really special that I can tell. I had a shrimp & grilled chicken taco. Me, Ben, James & Molly met up here for lunch before James went to the airport. Plenty of free parking in dedicated lot. This is a very densely populated neighborhood. The food was a little better than OK I liked the beverage cooler with authentic Mexican drinks & the Classic Coca-Cola in a bottle imported from Mexico

Really disappointed that they don't have fish or pork belly as a protein option anymore. Was the whole reason I came... the arepa was okay and so was the quesadilla, both had uneven distribution of ingredients( cheese on one side, protein on the other). The quesabirria were pretty good, but the reason I came back was the fish tacos. So I probably won't be back again. Worker seemed pissed off that people were coming in the last hour they were open.

Great spot to stop in for a quick bite to eat! I wasn't expecting 5-star dining at a fast casual Mexican place, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was. We ordered chips and guac and tacos, and everything was great. I would go back just for that guac!! They also have a complimentary salsa bar with tons of fun flavors of salsa! I love sauces, so that was such a win. I've done takeout and eaten at Sabor. The interior isn't the most "upscale," but if you're in the mood for no frills but great food, this is a great spot!

The food is amazing! The carne asada fries are so delicious! There is no sharing because they are too delicious for that nonsense. Pairs perfect with an empanada which are perfect portion size. Service is always prompt and the food piping hot! Ambiance is comfortable and simply done.

I love Sabor. We don't eat out often, but when we do Sabor is a frequent pick. The food is delicious, well-priced, and great variety. What more can you ask for?

Today's student-led conferences with parents presented the perfect opportunity to enjoy lunch out. I ventured to Sabor Latin St. Grill, conveniently located on Hawthorne Lane, just a stone's throw from our church in Uptown Charlotte. This place is our go-to for nachos, but today, I decided to switch things up and sample their tacos. I chose a duo of Al Pastor, one Barbacoa, and an Asada steak taco. The corn tortillas were notably fresh, and each taco was flavorful, though they didn't quite make it to the top of my all-time favorites list. Next visit, I might revert to the tried-and-true nachos. Still, these tacos are certainly worth trying at least once - they're a delightful option for anyone exploring the culinary offerings of Sabor Latin St. Grill.

Upscale Taco Bell. Fresh made, nice people. Kinda bland? Maybe it's just me though. Everyone else seems to be amazed by this place.

You must get their Quesabirria tacos! They're made with tender barbacoa meat and melty cheese dipped in a tasty chili broth. Pro Tip: After dipping, scoop the onions and cilantro into the taco! The Tacos Loco is filled with chorizo sausage but you also get a choice to add your own protein. I added the al pastor.They have a BYOB Bowl option with your choice of protein, rice and beans. It comes with tomato, onion, cheese, lettuce and cilantro or sub in your own choice of condiments. The Elote Loco is a must-order. It's coated in a mayo cream sauce, cotija cheese and dusted with chili powder and cilantro.

First off, after we ordered they lost the order and it took almost 30 mins to get our food. They did give us Free nachos for waiting:) while waiting I noticed a boiled corn sitting in the counter by a dirty wipe cloth, then the cook proceeded to finish it and put it with my order . The queso was runny,The food was not hot and they added toppings to my food that I didn't ask for so had to redo it. I was very disappointed and will not be back! I stand by high sanitation scores and they didn't bit deserve the score they have #98NOT

I have to give an update because I went in today (for the first time) and had a couple of different items that I loved. First, the Sabor nachos with shredded chicken - for $10, the plate was large and the nachos were stacked up with toppings. It was delicious and filling - a great option! Also got the guava and pineapple empanada which had cinnamon sugar sprinkled on it as well - it was sweet and very good. The most annoying part was repeating my order 2-3 times (which is why I kept at 4 stars). The guy who took our order had his AirPods in and was clearly on a call - I had to repeat each item while ordering 2-3 times because he'd be talking to that person while I was ordering.

They give you whole chips when you order take-out. Not a bag of half-crushed chips that you have to squish together to make enough surface to dip in salsa. And they give you enough salsa to finish your chips. Not a bag of chips and a thimble of salsa that you can barely dip 2 chips in before it's gone. If that doesn't make it the best Mexican restaurant in the area, I don't know what does.

Great authentic Latin food. I had a chicken stuffed Arepa, which was fantastic. My husband had the Cuban bowl, which had plagamos, ropa veins and rice. Great inexpensive place. Super casual.

Amazing food! Great people and always quick !! It's right down the road from my office so a quick walk , order take out or at the restaurant and it's always fast and easy pick up! Always fun to sit and eat as well. Very clean !

Fast service, food is simple but tasty. You must try to Churros. I repeat you must try the churros. Another pleasant surprise are the different flavors of salsa from mild to really spicy. Definitely a yes.

I am so surprised and happy with Sabor!!! Not just this location, but I have visited several and the quality is consistent across the 3 locations I have visited. FIRST of all... Churros... anyone with good Churros tells me alot! and they are MUY Delicioso! and cheap... just like they should be. The daily specials are fantastic and keep me coming back for the burritos, the tacos, the cerveza.... loving it. I hope we get more of these little gems around Charlotte so I don't have to drive so far to get my latin-inspired street food fix!

I got the three vegan taco's that was suppose to be the special of the day. They had a daily drink special of a margarita on the rocks for $5.00. The food was good but not for the price, didn't get charged for the special. It is an spot authentic for a quick bite.

It's the empanadas for me! I also had the carne asada fries and they were great. The service was fast and precise. I'd return. The atmosphere was quant and inviting. We dined in.

Be careful when dining here! The food is sooooo good you will overeat. Food coma will set in soon after. Great job!

This place is always on point! We went on a Tuesday afternoon and although Sabor was busy, we got our food quickly. We ordered the nachos and two tacos to split. Everything was delicious although I did order extra queso for the nachos because it was too good! The prices are very reasonable and there is a salsa bar so you can see what flavor goes best with your tacos. Sabor has become a staple in Charlotte.

OMG DELICIOUS!!! If you're a lover of different Hispanic foods, street foods, Mommy's cooking, etc: GO HERE! Omg, food was so good. There's a mixture of so many different options. I made my own personal smorgasbord of things (heeheehee). I ordered delivery, so I am not sure what the inside of the restaurant vibes are. I'm a person who HATES deliveries unless detrimentally needed b/c I always get a mix up. However: Sabor DID NOT MISS! EVERYTHING was accurate and sooo good. There was a little mix up on the Door Dashers end, and I called to explain the extras, and the team working were already on it! Told me to enjoy ourselves, and they already handled it in-house. Such good, personable service. ...and I repeat: THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! I do not live in the Charlotte area, only visit family: but I will spend my money every time I touch down!

My boyfriend and i were looking for a casual Latin spot for lunch one day and the pictures and reviews here looked great! We opted for the El Dominicano, the Quesabirria, and the Salvador Fries. The Salvador Fries had a wonderful crisp to them. Thicker fries are usually too soft and mushy, but, these fries were nearly perfect in consistency. The shredded chicken on it was decent and the rest of the toppings were ok as well, but they were all cold toppings on top of the warm fries. The El Dominicano definitely looked better in pictures than it tasted. It was somehow too saucy and also a bit bland. The burrito was kinda soggy and overall didn't hit the spot. It pretty much fell apart when I tried to pick it up, and I ended up having to eat it with a fork and knife. On the other hand, the Quesabirria was delicious. The chili was very flavorful and the meat was juicy. This is definitely the thing to get at Sabor, it's the perfect combination of flavors. There was plenty of parking and the restaurant was relatively clean. Plus, the service was great. We may have chosen the wrong foods to get at Sabor but will definitely go again to try others just because the Quesabirria was one of the best i have ever had.

I did enjoy my fruity empanada it was delicious. The service was nice and the atmosphere was casual. It was my first time going and I enjoyed myself. Kinda pricey.

I've been here several times. I've never had any issues. The food is really good. The service is really quick the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend. My favorite thing on the menu, probably the empanadas. No, definitely the empanadas. The chips and queso is really good too!

Chips and Queso I always get loaded nachos here and they are spectacular. I love these seasoning the chips have on them. Everyone once in a while you will get a heavily seasoned one and OMG chefs kiss!

They have some very tasty authentic tacos I went to the restaurant but the line was long and so on that day I did not try their food however I did order through doordash and the food came rather quickly and every Taco that I try was exquisite I definitely would recommend and if there is the ability to reserve a spot I would recommend that also depending on which location

I had been waiting to check out Sabor ever since I first saw the menu. The range of items is truly impressive for a fast casual style restaurant, and I had plenty that I was dying to try. We went for more of a sampling approach and got Quesabirria, Elote, Plantains, Chips and Salsa for around $20 The Quesabirria is not as cheesy as some that I've had before, but the brisket inside was very tasty and even better after dipping it into the birria. The plantains were fried and still sweet, they went well with the sour cream dip. The elote is exactly as it's advertised, corn on the cob with Mayo, cheese and chili powder, I'm a sucker for it, and if those flavors appeal to you, you'll like the elote too. There's plenty of other items I'm dying to try, so I'm excited for future visits. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it had a decent number of people, but it didn't take more than 5 minutes or so to order and be served. Great for groups since the menu has a lot of diversity. Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone craving some Latin food.

Grateful for Sabor offering curbside pickup during the pandemic So nice to be sitting in the restaurant to enjoy the salsa bar again. Good is always fresh and delicious. Sabor never skips on the quality or quantity of their food. This taco salad was a generous portion of barbocoa. Yum.

The food truly was just ok. I was disappointed, because it looks pretty good in photos! But the flavor is considerably lacking. I got a burrito, and the chicken tasted like nothing...I sort of felt like I was eating an iceberg lettuce burrito, lol. Also, the day I went, they advertised a Thursday $6 Cuban mojito drink special, and when I asked for it to be added to my order, I was told that they were "done serving alcohol for the day" (it was over an hour before closing time). I think this is an ok spot to stop at maybe after a day of being out drinking (like, a decent and elevated alternative to Taco Bell) but it just wasn't on par, for me.

Whenever I'm craving Tacos, Sabor is my Top go too! It's super affordable and family friendly. The Queso is amazinggggggggg. The best Queso my lips have ever laid hands on! With my Queso, I also enjoy the Chicken and Beef Americanos.. I never wait over 10 minutes for my food! Thanks Sabor and keep doing what you do best

Food is delicious. Service is fast. Prices are reasonable. You can get a kid's meal with a taco or quesadilla plus chips and Queso for $5.25. You can't beat it. If you're hungrier, I highly recommend the loaded fries or one of their huge burritos. For a fast option, I find that Sabor blows Chipotle out of the water (and is priced very similarly if not cheaper, too!)

Sabor is hands down one of the best casual dining places in Charlotte! Their carne asada fries are one of my favorite foods and the Mexican street corn is amazing! There's so much to choose from on their menu and I've never had anything bad! Give it a try!

Great food at a great price! I got the kids meal with a side of guac for just over $11 plus tip. The side of guac and chips was huge. The food was very yummy and the people were super nice.

Absolutely delicious spot, full of flavor! I've been wanting to try this place forever, and I finally got my chance last week. I went on an off time (around 2pm?) and was able to find a parking place and a table inside. Happy Day! You must order at the front, but they are efficient and your food comes out super quick. My favorite is the salsa bar, their regular old mild salsa is truly some of the best I've had. Wish I'd gotten a quart to bring home! I had a taco salad which was good, but pretty goopy in spite of asking for black beans instead of refried beans. I panicked when I went to order, won't happen again. The chips and queso dip were amazing. Love how thin and light the chips are. Can't wait to go back to this place!

Came here for a quick mid-day snack on a Taco Tuesday. My shredded chicken and curtido tacos were both very good. Ordering was straightforward, prices were good, the place was clean and comfortable, and service was friendly. I'll be back for a full meal soon...

In the city for work and I wanted to try a good Mexican restaurant. Wow did I luck out with this place. The taste was great and authentic and the prices might be impossible to beat. I will come here everytime I am in town. Highly recommend checking this place out

I have heard wonderful things about sabor so I was very excited to give them a try. I ordered a pick up order consisting of the el dominicano burrito and a build your own burrito. Let's start with the el Dominicano. This shredded chicken burrito tasted amazing! I love the fact that this burrito is grilled and the shredded cabbage add a nice crunch to each bite. My only qualm is that it was so messy and presented as deflated. It just fell apart as soon as I picked it up, so I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Not typical burrito fashion. Now, onto the BYOB (build your own burrito). I take partial blame here. I tried to replicate my favorite burrito, the California burrito (a carne asada burrito stuffed with French fries, guacamole, pico.. no rice and no beans). I spent nearly $20 somehow to do this (16$ on the burrito and $4 for a side of fries to put in the burrito). What a disaster!! 1. The burrito was loaded with way too many onions, and I had trouble finding the flavors of other ingredients. 2. I paid for a side of guacamole (2$ extra) and it was no where to be found. 3. I paid $4 for a side of fries and under special instructions I wrote "please put fries in burrito." Yes there were fries in there, but a whole side of fries.. no chance. And 4. Maybe I missed the salsa bar, but there was no salsa to be found when I opened up my order. And this desperately needed some sauce to combat the massive quantity of onions. So that was my California burrito fail.. I have learned my lesson. Lastly. How did I spend $35 on this order?? I luckily have Uber eats credits so I didn't feel too guilty placing this order, but come on. I realize I don't live in Southern California anymore but can I get a burrito for under $10? I looked and prices appear higher when I order on Uber eats vs the menu presented on the Sabor website. All in all, stick with the menu items here. And maybe order in person to save yourself some $$. Do not build your own anything. I won't rule out coming here again, but I will wait for someone to suggest it first before suggesting it myself.

0 Stars. When you go out and spend money on food it shouldn't be disgusting. Chicken had cartilages & was undercooked tasted like eating flavorless tofu. Burrito had no taste at all. Fan of sabor too.. not coming back for a long time.

Always a great go to! The drinks are very good and the menu has many options. I like it for the burrito, chips and queso, Street corn and nachos. Good bit of seating and family friendly environment. Food is served hot and fresh and I haven't had anything that I haven't loved here. Staff are always friendly and accommodating with requests. It's a staple for taco Tuesday's for me.
