Sabor Tropical Supermarket

Every time I go to this Supermarket, there is a Super rude Woman/Manager, her name is Daineris. This morning 10/17/2024. @ 9:36 a.m. Cashier number #3. I spent $100.00 dollars shopping in there. When I saw the name on the receipt, I saw her name Daineris but that is the he Manager 's name. Must be her daughter, or she is using the Manager's name. Those 2 females, have a horrible attitude towards the customers. They are both super rude. I noticed that every time I'm paying at her cash register, the Manager Daineris brings her chocolates (Bom Boms), and this morning she brought her coffee ☕ Every time I am in there the young lady @Cash register #3 is super rude. Seems like the Manager Daineris, has made a negative comment about me because now she is super rude I bought a tub of salad tomatoes, and I asked if she could pack it right, because every time I get home and it's not packed right, the tub opens and it spills inside the bag. It's a total mess. I asked her to please pack it right but she just gave me a bad attitude and a dirty look. Look here, I think that she forgets that the ones that pay her paycheck is us the customers. Those two women have to get a better attitude otherwise, I'm going to call home office and file a complaint. They don't even speak English. Why?????? They forget that the language of this country is English. They just have a bad attitude. If they don't like their jobs, they can go elsewhere. Also the Manager Daineris, on another occasion, almost ranned me over with a cart 🛒 She was in such a rush to get in front of me!!!! What happened to good customer service???????? Also when you go buy lottery tickets and there is a shift change, they won't sell anything behind that counter. They start drinking coffee and chatting and saying to come back later. Psst!!!! I can't come back later. I'm there at that time and can't do it later. Also the Male Manager (Orlando) not sure if that is his name. I will find out his name and post it. Has a bad attitude also. On one occasion my husband bought a bottle of wine but paid with a card. Then I went to buy another bottle of wine, because we were having a party, and since the guy saw that I was paying cash, sent me to the deli cash register, because they were getting ready to close. The deli was closing first. Was about 9:30 p.m. I have the feeling that man is stealing from the Supermarket!!!!! Because why did he asked how I was paying, and sent me to the deli????? I was already paying at a cash register!!!! And when I asked him why wasn't been sent there, he said that it was the way he squared his cash register!!!!! Very fishy!!!!! That had never happened to me. In one occasion I saw Daineris/ Manager following him meaning (Orlando) around and almost they look like they were having a romantic relationship. I guess that is how she became Manager. The Managers and employees at this Supermarket have to adopt a better attitude all around. They all look at people with bad looks and a nasty attitude. They need to go back to training.

Considering it's a Hispanic market, it's a little pricey, some staple Latino food items should be cheaper than at Publix, most times Publix is more affordable. I've had bad experiences at this market's deli and meat department, as far as quality goes. I think they would benefit from serving hot prepared foods, that way they would up items that don't sell well instead of just tossing it away. Maybe?? Just a thought.

For a small corner store it has everything, clean and wide varietys of fruits and vegetables. Give it 5 stars

They have a app but nobody knows about the 5%disscount. Prices are very good and fruits super fresh

Prices are fairly decent compared to other supermarkets. However, cashiers need to be more friendly and professional. Apparently they're bringing their cultural vocal folklore while on duty to a completely different workplace environment than their country of origin.

Second time there 1st went smooth. Went back with my wife & the register lady was treating us nice I was like oh wow cuz u don't get that now ahdays. Anyhow we bought roughly $90 buck. The register lady a fat one the works in the last register is a thief she shorten our change $15 dollars. My wife rightway noticed and told her. The people behind us probably got on point. So if u go there or anywhere...check ur change before walking away. Those wolf are dressed as sheep's. UI won't see it comin

Esos Empleados y Managers del Sabor Tropical son una partida de faltas de respeto. Las Empleadas que trabajan en El Deli, son una partida de intrigantes, siempre dando malas miradas y con mala actitud con los clientes. Se ven enojadas!!!!! Hay una gorda con espejuelos, (En El Deli) otra amargada. Hey, si no les gusta su trabajo, y tienen la mala costumbre de traer sus problemas personales a su trabajo!!!!! Entonces para que trabajan en un Lugar como este?????? Muy mal servicio al cliente. Siempre le dan favoritismo a los clientes que les dan propina por hacerles El cafe!!!!!!!!! No sabia que un super mercado den propinas!!!!!! Siempre Estan escondidas contando el dinero!!! Estan robando. Siempre comiendo y tomado cafe detras del counter. Eso es ilegal. Que asco!!! SE atragantan y luego tocan la comida del cliente. Hasta donde yo se, es es El trabajo de ellas.No sabia que tengo que dar propinas en ese lugar. Hay una (viejita) cajera, que SE pone un Poco de floripondios en la cabeza, bochinchosa/gordita que no le gustan los perros y cuando he traido mi Perro de servicio me da mala cara y me trata Mal. Hey, si no te gusta, Arranca!!!!!! Tambien hay una Manager super grocera la tipa. No habla ni Ingles. Quien le dio ese trabajo a Ella?????? SE llama Daineris la tipa. Y la hija de Ella tambien otra super ruda y grocera. Tienen un acomoda frutas y papas, gay, que SE trata de meter en los asuntos de los demas. Hey, a El no le pagan para que se meta en la vida de los demas. Antes lo saludaba, ya no!!!! Un Entrometido El tipo ese. El tipo Orlando ESTA robando. La Daineris Esa me trato de arrollar con un carrito. La hija o es una familia de Ella, otra super grocera LA tipa. Siempre con caras agrias. Nadie SE tiene que soportar Todo Eso. Hey, SE les olvida que nosotros pagamos sus cheques. Y si siguen tratando Mal a los clientes los van a perder permanentemente. Tienen la mala costumbre de subir los precios Cada semana. Los productos lo siguen subiendo de precio Cada semana. Ponen un precio mas bajo, como si fuera oferta y cuando pagas en la caja El precio es mas caro. Eso se llama price gauging y es illegal. No tratan Bien a sus clientes leales. Estoy pensando irme para Otro Super mercado donde traten Mejor a los clientes. Yo gasto bastante dinero a diario en ese super mercado de pacotilla. El Pollo, carne, pescado, Camarones y demas, lo siguen subiendo. La comida de perros enlatada carisima, la tuna carisima. Compre unas salchichas Estaban babosas. Tambien una leche, SE agrio en un Dia. Venden productos que estan por danarse. Y los precios no son baratos nada. Para eso me voy al Publix donde los precios son iguales al super mercado de pacotilla y siempre dan Mejor servicio. Es un drama ir a ese Lugar. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its good to have a neighborhood market that is walking distance and offers good and international variety and decent prices. The bakery and coffee shop features cuban coffee and all the pastelitos you could expect. The ladies that work there have great energy, chatting animated but attentive to the customers making it a nice atmosphere. Waiting for them to open so I may pick up my delish cafe con leche

Employees and management are notorious for discriminating people from the LGBT community, as well as English speakers, including tourists who aren't Hispanic. I have experienced several problems, even asking simple questions about their groceries. My friend and I moved into the neighborhood in 2015 and we became regular customers at this supermarket, but finally we had it. We are not longer shopping here. Suggestions ... try Bay Supermarket just down the street from Sabor Tropical

I wouldn't be doing my job as a mental healthcare professional if I didn't second the recent article the previous poster mentioned. After reading the article, I must tell you that it was a despicable behavior of your manager to treat a transgendered individual the way he did. Notwithstanding that, the commentary from another manager didn't seem to address the infraction well enough; this isn't something one says "everything is fine now." The best neighborhood supermarket !!! Have pretty much everything, very friendly personal! And specifically very good to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, much better quality then Publix!

I have shopped before for hard-to-find Latin American cuisine ingredients but not anymore. I don't want to risk being discriminated against like others have. I can order my ingredients from Amazon.com thank you Beth much.

I can find everything that I need here, like whole tilapia, meats for my grill, groceries

Our first choice to stop from condo to beach and back. Friendly service and excellent collada. We love the prices and assortment on yams, spices and wine.

I've come to learn that a person trying to buy groceries at this place, for no no reason other than being transgender, was denied the ability to shop at the store. The manager was adamant and the police were called. In the end, she was able to go ahead and shop, but this kind of treatment left a bad taste in my mouth and so I will NOT be shopping there anymore. There is no place for discrimination. Especially if a person is trying to buy sustenance. SHAME ON YOU Sabor Tropical Supermarket!
