Food was soooo delicious! Our plates came out quickly and were nice and hot. The waitress and waiter were very welcoming and attentive. Only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars was because it was way too hot in there! It made us want to eat and get out quickly. Would’ve loved to hang out longer and enjoy an other drink.

Take a hungry crowd and feast! Our party of five hungry folks dined on a green salad, Rusa salad, fries with garlic, large parrillada, and several of their specialty adult beverages. Very good! Service was excellent, order your parrillada rare, as it will continue to cook. Our server, Mr. Lius, was the best!

Google
Service was good, but sometimes we had to go out of our way to get attention from other servers. The restaurant was really busy at the moment so it was understandable. Food was good for the price!

This is one of the few actual "South South American" places I've been to in the region, and it's by far the best. Owners are from Uruguay and so most of the cuisine is from there, but the meat is cooked almost like we do in Argentina (that's where I'm from), so I wasn't surprised when a local friend, also Argentinian, recommended this place to me. I was not dissapointed. The most important thing to me when dining out is how I feel when I walk into a restaurant and the experience is so different in every country, I have been challenged to feel really comfortable in this area. The minute I stepped in, I felt like home. Tables with real wood tabletops. Fresh bread + butter to get you started. Spanish speaking service, mostly Spanish speaking (don't worry if you don't speak Spanish though, some of them speak flawless English of course) that sounded so close to my Spanish, I froze for a second when the waiter simply said "Hola, buen dia!" to me. It's nothing special, it's just that after years of not being home, hearing the same accent when I wasn't expecting it, the same language was a nice surprise. The food was really good, I didn't give it 5 stars just because the mashed potatoes were not great. I had one beef empanada (which I really recommend as a starter), and then the Tira de Asado, which is basically known as short ribs up here. It's not quite the same in Argentina and Uruguay but it's the closest cut you get, and it was fantastic. It came with some salad we call "Criolla" in Buenos Aires, and it's so simple it hurts: lettuce, tomato, onion. That's it. Add a pinch of salt and olive oil, cut and toss, and there you go. That's how salads were when I was a kid: simple, fresh, and didn't distract you from the all important beef. I wish I hadn't eaten that much, but it was really good, all of it. Finished it up with an espresso and left. Fantastic experience, very close to home. I will definitely come back.

I had the opportunity to dine at Sabores Del Plata and was impressed by the great selection of food items on the menu. The service was fast & friendly, the portions were generous, and the food was full of flavor. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Awesome environment and great service! The food was amazing. Been looking for an Argentinian spot for a very very long time and it was totally worth the drive. Definitely looking forward to go back that way.🇦🇷❤️

Google
I visited Sabores del Plata and tried the Chivito al Plato for 2 ($40), which was mostly fries and salad with very little meat. The meat itself was bland, overcooked, and overly salty in parts like the ham and bacon. The ham and cheese empanada was fine, but nothing special. The mango juice tasted overly sweet and artificial, not like real mango. The service was good since we were the only ones there, and the decor was nice, but the food didn’t impress for the price.

Great place to enjoy with family 👏🏻, and Agustina attended, she is excellent! 👏👏 a lot of food and delicious, I’ll be back.

Yelp
I came here for my birthday with a couple of family members. The place is quite small, but I love it. Portions are huge - great value for money. Food tastes great. I ordered the picanha and got TWO. My order for one came out on a platter....the cheese and break starter was so tasty too. Definitely coming back. Downside: Parking was tight. Small lot for a building with so many stores.

Yelp
The worst food ever. The worst service too. The food had no flavor. Empanadas had meat and a little piece of egg. Manager stated that she was right and I was wrong. The worst service ever received in a food establishment.

Yelp
Delicious meats. Cooked well. Tried Sangria, cappuccino and grilled skirt Steak. Service was quick and drinks came out first. Downfall was a little loud, but it was peak time.

Yelp
What a feast ! We ordered food that we thought was enough for 4 and turned out to be enough for 8 !!!! Portions are big and super tasty ! We liked EVERYTHING we ordered ! This is a nice place and service was great. Ambiance was good overall and we had a great experience. Price was reasonable for sure. I am definitely coming back here next time I am in town. !

Yelp
Sabores del Plata took me back to a bodegón in Buenos Aires, with excellent and friendly service, delicious food, and an excellent bartender!

Yelp
I LOVE Sabores Del Plata! I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting great quality meats and food! The location is great with many parking spots available. It is located in a plaza with many other businesses so that is definitely a plus. Inside is very open and clean. The service was amazing as well. Upon entering we were immediately seated and asked for drinks. Our server was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had on the menu. He was very friendly as well! The food here is so quality and authentic. There are so many options without it being overwhelming. We tried the Asado de Tira along with the Rusa and Cesar salad.

Yelp
Just tried this restaurant for the first time. Food was awesome and lots of it. The service was fast and the staff were very helpful. Great atmosphere where you feel like you are in a bar somewhere in Latin America. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
We went there on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed so there was a wait. We put our name on the waitlist and they texted us in about 30 minutes. When we sat down our waitress was nice we ordered our wine and dishes. The wine bottle came out really quick and when she poured it we realized it was the wrong bottle. We had ordered a different bottle, but did not want to make a big deal so we didn't even tell her. The meat was tasty and filling, we definitely took some food to go. The restaurant is fairly big and spacious on the side wall there is a painting of famous Argentinian people which was pretty neat.

Yelp
If you're up to try a steakhouse that's a little "different" in Atlanta- Sabores Del Plata is your place. It's a Uruguayan steakhouse, and they will wow you with platters of meat and LOTS of wine choices. My favorite thing to try were the intestines- I didn't think I'd like them, but they were really good. The employees (especially our waitress) was really friendly. I'd definitely go back, especially to take friends.

Yelp
Good food and service, I just would change the environment and music for something more traditional or a least no reguetón or rap is not proper for the type of restaurant and the guests that visit the restaurant. Just a recommendation but food and service was great.

Yelp
My brother and I wanted to feast on some steak so we decided to check out Sabores Del Plata. Let's start off with the good first!! Fun environment with good music and wall art. The menu is fun and the team is friendly. We ordered their PARRILLADA which will set you back $90 bucks for the following: picanha, filet mignon, skirt steak, bottom sirloin, short ribs, chitterlings, sausages, blood sausages, sweetbreads, and chicken. It also came with an option of 3 sides so we picked their rice, potato salad and fried eggs. We started off with their PROVOLETA which is their grilled provolone with oregano, olive oil and a bread basket. Personally I thought this alone was not worth it HOWEVER once your meat plate comes out, it pairs up perfect!! Now for the things I wasn't a fan of... after we got through their picanha, filet mignon and bottom sirloin, the rest of the meats were... either tough to chew or lacking in flavor Their chicken was OK but nothing special but we did enjoy their sausage. Their chimichurri sauce does save the day though and if you cover the meat with enough of it, it's still good. With the amount of food we got I was hoping for better beverage service but unfortunately if you order a soda you get it by the can, and although service was very friendly, it did fall behind a bit on the timely part of the service. Once I was able to catch their attention for a refill I just got a second can of soda... I think a location like this needs a soda fountain. One more thing... their rice and eggs were perfect but their potato salad was lacking any flavor, just a normal potato salad. All in all, awesome experience with some unique flavors. Their individual plates and entreesook amazing so I'll have to go back and try a few different things from their menu. Check them out if you're in the area and get you some of those top pieces of steak, you'll enjoy it!!

Yelp
I ordered the churrasco entrana and asked for the steak medium. They still over cooked it and I was shaking the table to cut it. The atmosphere feels like a bar so if you're looking for a cute dinner spot with your girls, this is not it. We drove out of our way for this food based on the reviews and were greatly disappointed. The food, service, and ambiance was below average. The free bread they put out wasn't good. I didn't enjoy it. The only thing I mildly enjoyed was the beef empanadas. We barely saw the waitress. Also, we had a party of four and they charged us gratuity as if we had a party of 6 per their policy. When I got my bill and it was so high that I asked if gratuity was included and she said yes. She didn't tell us this before my other three guest paid so they paid extra on top of their bill and tip and SHE KNEW that they didn't know this. I didn't like that at all. I will always tip but I don't like dishonesty. It's bad form. I won't be back and I hope this helps other people.

Charles M.

Yelp
Wait staff was nice and the atmosphere pleasant. The only problem was the meat quality. The meat was too tough to eat. The concept is excellent, but they need to source better quality meat.

Yelp
Flavor filled way to celebrate my Bday. Sabor assisted in bring sunshine to an otherwise dreary, rain-filled day! From entry to exit, everything was on point except my missing Bday cake. Drink selections were vast and selected a savory Vinito. It was a mixture of sangria and Malbec and complimented nicely with dried blood orange. Libation also paired well with the churrasco skirt steak, Provençal fries & salad. Yummy rolls and butter were also provided for table - my kryptonite! The steak was well marinated and tender to the cut. The fries had a parsley, garlic seasoning that was extremely satisfying to the palate! The atmosphere was a combination of laid back with an energetic vibe. It was not full on the rainy Tuesday, but still had patrons at bar, a group that appeared to be reuniting or celebrating also, families and couples. Televisions strategically placed showed futbol matches...yes, the real football ;-) Service was excellent and extremely helpful sifting through the Uruguayan delicacies that included many meat dishes. Venezuelan offerings were also on menu. The subheading mentioned South American Steakhouse and Bakery. Will definitely return for the short ribs which sounded appetizing and my missing cake!

Yelp
I tried the food at this place yesterday for the first time. I did not eat there but order it to go. My husband had pollo a la pimienta and I had picanha. It was delicious!!

Yelp
The Paradilla is to die for! Omg! And the Mezcal omg! I don't have much to say bc I am still here and we are about To go into the most amazing food coma! Lmaoo!! Service is excellent and the food is over the top!

Peter L.

Yelp
Sabores Del Plata has the meats! Whoo yeah! Get your meat craving on here. Service is friendly, drinks are stiff and well made, and the meat choices are amazing. You get those Argentinian flavors from the bbq smoke and nice thick cuts of meat.
google avatar

Amir C.

Yelp
This was a disappointment. Asides from the skirt steak which was incredible and tender, all of the other meats were chewy. We visited on a weekday and there were maybe 3 tables eating. Two servers, one who didn't speak English at all. The picanha and short ribs were chewy, to the point they were inedible. That was super sad for some of the most popular cuts. Service was dissapointing, our server didn't speak English nor did she really check on us. The other server had to almost do the work (maybe she was new). Nonetheless, given the raving reviews, super disappointed

Yelp
Everything went well until we asked for our bill, no paper to see what was on the bill and when server told us $106 something didn't add up. 3 kids meals 2 adults. I asked for the itemized bill and was sent to email. They charged us $26 per 2 kids meal and the other was $7. Menu says kids spaghetti $5.99. When I when to talk to server she did not want to speak because she was too busy and the other server that was helping told us, "oh well you saw how big the plates were". So our server charge my tiny kid an adult meal. A normal experience server would have thought, oh they want kids meals for their kids for sure. Sure now seems like a scam. So disappointing because we always look for Argentinian restaurants. There was not a single attempt to make things right so we will never come back and for sure will spread the word.

Yelp
As with most places on Buford Hwy, this spot is located in a plaza and doesn't look like much from the outside. But once you step in, you're welcomed by the heavenly smell of churrasco. We started with an order of beef empanadas and a pitcher of sangria. The empanadas were on point, well-stuffed and well-seasoned. For my meal, I ordered the churrasco de entraña (skirt steak) with papas a la provenzal (fries topped with sautéed garlic and parsley) and green salad. The portion was generous, the meat was tender and flavorful, and the chimichurri sauce was delicious. The sangria complemented the dish very well, not to sweet. We somehow managed to save room for dessert and ordered the flan. I was afraid the accompanying dulce de leche might be caramel overkill, but I was happy to be wrong on this one. Definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Yelp
Ep. 111 of AntlantaEats 10 meats (well I cheated, I said hell nooooo to the Chitterings lol) Ok lemme continue. Authentic South American Cuisine you must check out if you love meats. Their most popular item on the menu is the "Parrillada" Over 5lbs of Meat! Feeds 3 people but ummm..this was ALL OF ME When it comes down to their 'Chimichurri' it hands down the best in town! Lemme add the Meats are marinated for 24 hours before eaten. Need I to say more? Pull up on them.

Yelp

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for so long and decided to finally give it a try. I absolutely loved every single part of my meal! This food is soo good it makes me wanna cry tears of joy. Customer service is A1. I got the passion fruit margarita and it was excellent! For these huge portions these prices are a steal! This would be a cute date spot also. I will definitely be back even if it's by myself again lol
google avatar

Bernadette E.

Yelp
Great menu and price is inexpensive. I always order a steak here because it very flavorful. Rice is also flavorful too but serving of it is small, not enough sides. Server was very nice.

Valeria V.

Yelp
Love the place and the vibe! Good food the only thing is the steak was a bit chewy. Our server was absolutely fantastic too.

Yelp
A few members of my Facebook foodie group were excited to check this restaurant out and it did not disappoint. Tucked in a strip mall in Norcross, this place definitely qualifies as a hidden gem. I ordered the Sangria to start and it was delicious. Not too tart and not too sweet. Get the carafe, it's that good. For my meal, i decided to go with what the restaurant is known for.... the parrillia for one. It comes with sirloin, chicken breast, chorizo, sweetbreads (not bread), chitterlings, blood sausage and short ribs. I substituted the blood sausage for more chorizo. I decided to be adventurous and try the chitterlings and sweetbread. Both were flavorful but i couldn't get past what i was actually eating lol. I enjoyed everything including the chimichurri sauce. The service was good although if you are paying separately i would recommend bringing cash. This is definitely a spot for carnivores like me to check out!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food with great people! I come here for lunch every week. Their empanadas are the best in town! The restaurant has been remodeled and has a very nice vibe
google avatar

Morgan M.

Yelp
The service was great. Parking lot gets full very quickly. Might have to park in the side parking lot. We came here on a Saturday night, the place was almost full but we grabbed a table! Everything was served fresh. There was a slight haze in the restaurant due to everyone's food being cooked fresh! That's impressive. The servers are very attentive, constantly on the dining room floor. The prices are a tad high for the portion. Depends what you order!
google avatar

Andres S.

Yelp
I've been eating at this place for years but the last 3 visits I have seen a decline in quality of the steaks. The Churrasco de Entraña has been tough to eat on each occasion and that is supposed to be their best. Whether it's take out or dine in the experience has been the same. Argentina is known as some of the best Churrascos in the world but this place is ruin it but buying low quality beef. Sad to have to put it on my "won't come back" list.
google avatar

Gerald E.

Yelp
For like $15 I received all the food in this picture. Underneath the ham/bacon is flank steak and more fries. It was tasty and the ambiance was nice. The server did great as well. I like the local businesses that do it right. I will do my part and tell the world.
google avatar

Eugene S.

Yelp
This place is a real treat for me to get whenever I'm for just a protein binge. I will say, not a fan of the chicken so I opt for more sweetbreads. I love the sweetbreads from this place! But all in all, hands down one of the best type of restaurants Atlanta has to offer!
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
Sabores is a diamond in the rough. Good food and very fast. You have to like meat and more meat to love Uruguay diet. The dessert was excellent.
google avatar

Nathaniel J.

Yelp
I gotta say, when I first went inside this place I didn't know what to expect. I have never had food from Uruguay before but checking out the menu, it was strikingly similar to Argentina and/or Peruvian. That said there were lots of meat choices, as well as pasta due to the strong Italian influence in these countries. I was with Juan (the pit) and Anabelle so we were ready to really throw down so here is what happened: ATMOSPHERE The atmosphere is a darker atmosphere but it seems to be a very family-friendly spot. While we were there a large party came in and you can see many kids coming with their parents etc. There is a full wall that was painted to show famous characters from South America. It was a pretty cool wall and I totally forgot to get a shot of it! Altogether, they seem o be able to hold about 70+ people in the space so its not a small space per see. FOOD STARTERS AND FINISHERS For starters we got two types of Empanadas: Beef and Ham and Cheese. I would say even before tasting it, you can tell that this place is not just about food but also can throw down on baking as well. The empanadas had a flaky crust and tasted very well. I would say, I still would say although they were good by themselves, some salsa would really elevate it for me. We also tried parsley and garlic fries which were done very well! You can tell time was put into these and I was trying to hold off for the mega entrees we had coming. Another thing to note is that they give you fresh baked bread and you can order this provolone this appetizer that goes so well with it which we also did. ENTREES FOR KINGS The burger of all burgers that we got was called the Sabores Mega Burger! This thing was huge. It came with two patties but the patties were very thick it had to be over a pound of meat just with the patties. The patties were great, it wasn't typically - beef, salt and fry but you can tell they were marinated because they have a very distinct flavor by themselves. This burger came with a fried egg, bacon, ham, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions and the buns were freshly made in house. If you want death by burger, try this alone- luckily I had help. We saw many different meat platters on the menu but wanted to try the largest one which consisted of 10 types of meat. I must say this is something that can easily feed 5 people and the three of us couldn't handle it all - especially after the burger on steroids. the best part of this dish to me was the picanha ! That meat was so amazing and the fat content was incredible! There were other meats in there but they were in the shadow of the Picanha lol. Its definitely a place I will return to, love the staff, the owner was super cool and the food was on point for sure!

Yelp
I did my research on this place before I went and was super excited to eat there. The waitress was nice and everything smelled good. I got a passion fruit margarita.. which turned into two. They were really good. I loved the dried lime slice since it was sliced like a chip. We ordered the lingua and ham empanadas for an appetizer... I was eating my empanada and felt a pain on my back tooth.. I looked down at the empanada and saw an eggshell stocking out... and proceeded to swallow involuntarily... I couldn't eat any more until I got the second drink... I told my server what happened and she took my empanada (we ordered two) off of the order and didn't apologize or anything... The tortelliniI ordered at the same time as my appetizer came and it tasted okay.. I still ate most of it because it was my first meal of the day... I REALLY enjoyed my boyfriend's dish (the Milanese Napolitana)... but only could eat a bite or two. Not sure if I'll return.. was pretty disappointed.

Yelp
Crossed paths with this Buford Highway South American restaurant in Norcross while surfing around Yelp. Argentinian/Uruguayan cuisine? Not a combo to readily be found in the Atlanta area--I'm there. We came on a Saturday night, and Sabores del Plata was bustling with several large parties. We were seated after a waitress cleaned off a smaller table for us. The decorations were conversation starters: a massive wall of caricatures of famous folks, unfamiliar license plates under the wine. Eventually, we went with an order of beef empanadas (2 pieces for $4.99, ham & cheese was another option) and the Chivito al Plato for Two ($29.99). The empanadas came out in a reasonable timeframe and were hot. Nice pie-like crust! There was a small container of oil and herbs for dipping/pouring. The chivito was immense! Some quick Googling tells me that this is the national dish of Uruguay, or the sandwich version is at least. It's "thinly sliced top sirloin topped with mozzarella, ham, bacon, and two fried eggs all laid on top of French fries. Sides include potato salad and green salad." Hope you're hungry and that you have a robust cardiovascular system. We wished there was a little more sirloin and less French fries which were the dreaded crinkle-cut and all soggy since they acted as a cushion for the meats and cheese. They were seasoned with herbs. The potato salad was heavy on the mayo. Even the tomato in the salad was drizzled with mayo. Beware if you are mayo-averse. Our waitress started off attentive but then did that thing where she barely came by after we had placed our orders. She later apologized and mentioned how busy it was but when you're ready to go and it's been a while.... Parking was fine in the small shopping center, though many of the other businesses were closed for the evening. The bathrooms (3 stalls for women) were old but clean. Probably more like 3.5 stars. I'd return to Sabores del Plata, but I would aim to show up at a less busy time and would try a different dish!

Yelp
This place is amazing!! Food was delicious and the service was even better! We had the Partillada 10 carnes and so much food. Highly recommend! Ask for Melina, super friendly and fun! We will be back!

Yelp
Fun and delicious experience ! The fabled tower of meat was amazing !! And the Sabores Mega Burger was one of the best-tasting and juiciest burgers I had ever eaten ! Russian salad was on point. The French fries were tastier with the parsley toppings. A+ sweetbreads, chicken, pecanha, filet, burger and homemade rolls. Adding to salt to all of the meats helped immensely. Selections of pizza and pastas from Uruguay and Argentina. I haven't tried them yet but am intrigued. I certainly returning with family and friends !

Yelp
This is a fantastic place to get home cooked steaks Argentinian style. I had the picanha steak, which I thought was a Brazilian cut and maybe it is but they also evidently eat it in Argentina. It was cooked perfection and the portions are generous. Again, this is a homestyle place, it's not Fancy but the people are nice and the food is great.
google avatar

Renee F.

Yelp
Great empanadas. Had the skirt steak and potato salad. Steak was pretty good. Sausage sandwich was very tasty. Family ordered the Parillada and enjoyed it, I had to look away as they ate sweet breads and chitterlings. All in all an interesting place and a nice dinner.

Alexa K.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! We were looking for somewhere new for takeout and found Sabores del Plata online. When I walked in to pickup the order it was lively and packed. I saw some of the food going out and it all looked great. The food was outstanding! We had the churrasco de entrana, the pollo milanesa napolitana, and the chorizo. Portions were huge, the steak and chicken were tender and flavorful. The eggs on top of both were super yummy. We will def be back soon! Highly recommend!

Kelly K.

Yelp
This place is great!!!! Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because service was not the best. The Rosa negra margarita was amazing! The food was really good and it's a great place to go to go escape the "berbs".

Augusto D.

Yelp
delights to vomit the cuts of meat are very rich. I highly recommend. . excellent service

Yelp
I visit Atlanta every three months or so and this will be my go to spot!! The food was delicious, my favorite is the vacio ! Super juicy and tender. The rest of my parrillada was amazing! I pasted on the blood sausage it's not my thing. The portion was huge and the price was not bad at all. The service was top notch my waitress was very attentive. If I lived there I would definitely visit this place once a week.

Yelp
If you're looking for great South America asado you just found the perfect place. Very authentic...you must order some empanadas, believe me you won't regret!

Yelp
I met with a friend of mine for a quick drink. He had been wanting to go for a while and suggested this impromptu "drinks date". They had a nice selection of drinks and the menu looked amazing! We both were short on time, hence the "drinks date". We have already decided to come back to taste what was on the food menu. From what we saw, they were offering a lot of food for a reasonable price. The fare is from Argentina and Uruguay. My mango Margarita was one of the VERY few that I could actually taste the Mango! It was delish! My friend ordered the Vinorita as recommended to him by the waitress whose name I forgot to get. She was very nice and attended to us very well. When I read the description, I kinda turned my nose up because I am NOT a fan of any red wine. I tasted it and even though I could taste it, the wine flavor was just enough to enhance the drink. I would order it because it was just that good!

Yelp
I rarely write reviews but for Sabores Del Plata, say less! This was my first experience with Argentine/Uruguayan cuisine, and I must say it did not disappoint. Upon entering the restaurant a few months back, we were welcomed by Manager/Owner, Damian. He greeted us with the warmest hospitality and explained the history with South America and their love of meats. After the introduction, we were ready and made our order. We began our journey with the provoleta and the beef empanadas. The bubbling grilled provolone with oregano paired so well with their freshly baked bread, a great appetizer for any cheese lovers. However, the beef empanadas were the winner in my opinion. The flakey, crispy crust of the empanada was perfect, and the slightly cheesy beef filling made it the best empanada in town. For our main entrée, we took on the challenge and ordered the parillada with 10 carnes. The 5lb. meat mountain consisted of filet mignon, picanha, skirt steak, bottom sirloin, short rib, chitterlings, sausages, blood sausages, sweetbreads, and chicken. Cooked to perfection at your temperature request, the grilled meats were OUTSTANDING! Make sure to dunk your meats in their chimichurri sauce to enhance the hell out of your taste buds. This main course can feed you for the entire week, so make sure to make extra room in your fridge for the to-go boxes. Major shoutout to Damian and crew at Sabores Del Plata. Thank you very much for taking me in and introducing me to the world of South American grilled meats. Your hospitality and generosity were greatly appreciated. Can't wait to visit soon! Some tips for success: -Come hungry! -Bring an army of friends to assist (seriously). Damian and crew will feed you. They will feed you... enough that they alone could end world hunger. Yelp
My friend saw a tiktok featuring this restaurant and the food looked great so we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed! We went around 5:30/6:00 and there was only 1 other guest in the restaurant at the time. It's a small restaurant so they just let you pick where you wanna sit. We ordered the provoleta as an appetizer. It's Romano cheese melted into little balls, it's got parsley and olive oil and is served with sweet bread. The bread was crisp and the cheese was delicious. For entrees we both got the picaña, it comes with a side and a salad. I highly recommend the picaña, it was amazing. The meat was tender, juicy, and had lots of flavor. Definitely tasted like top quality steak. I got mashed potatoes as a side, and my friend got fries. The fries were just average restaurant fries, but still tasted good. The mashed potatoes were wonderful, I'd definitely order this whole dish again. The salad was pretty plain, just lettuce, onions and tomatoes, but the plate is served with a chimichurri sauce and I decided to use it as a salad dressing! It tasted awesome, but the steak was good on its own so it didn't need the sauce. I also decided to get the dulce de leche flan for dessert. The flan itself was fairly bland, but the dollops of dulce de leche that were on the plate tasted great The one issue I think was that it took a VERY long time for us to receive the check at the end. As we were finishing our meal the restaurant began to pick up business, and there was only one server so I think maybe she became a bit preoccupied. But when she stopped by to check on us after I finished the dessert I assumed she would bring the check, and she did not. So the next time she came around I had to ask for it. And still another 5 minutes before she brought it over. Other than that though the restaurant was amazing. They have some great tasting food and I'd definitely eat here again.
