This is the newest offering by the Mendieta family. The menu is mostly the same as Emma's with a little lower prices. I missed Las Primas, the 3 different enchilada platter, and they didn't bring back Enchiladas Paraisos that we loved from Mely's, which we hoped might be on the new menu(hint, hint). There's still plenty to choose from, and the Enchiladas al Carbon, and Chiles Rellenos con queso was as good as we remembered when Emma's was running well.
The service was a little glitchey since we were seated and got chips, but the waitstaff didn't seem to be assigned to our table. We had good service after we asked for someone. We were there 2 weeks after first open so hopefully it will get ironed out.
