"It doesn’t matter if you head to Sabrina’s in University City, Logan Square, or near South Street—on the weekends, you’ll find a line longer than Walmart's on Black Friday. It’s largely because of the great pancakes dressed up in various sugary costumes. Expect options like fluffy lemon ricotta, classic buttermilk, the decadent maple cinnamon roll, and weekly specials, like the cinnamon swirl pumpkin topped with cream cheese frosting. So we’re okay with waiting to get into Sabrina’s Cafe in University City for brunch on the weekends (they don’t take reservations). Get the lemon ricotta pancakes. These come with a berry compote, in case you want a change of pace from drowning your pancakes in syrup.
