Got there at noon,hostess was very pleasant.waiteress extremely helpful with Celiac. We order street corn ,two tacos and a bowl. Food was fresh and had flavors. Music was nice until they switched playlists and seem to be very loud.

One of if not my favorite burrito place in Boston. Has the best mix of food consistency and taste of any place I’ve been. To get all 5 stars the service could be a bit more helpful/friendly but I’ve also never had an issue. Big fan!

Sabroso at Assembly Row is amazing! Highly recommended, food are delicious, staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about gluten allergy. Fish tacos, bowls and steak quesadillas are delicious. They have 3 soup options for cold Boston winters. Prices are good and place has a very nice table between inside and outside seating. Great go and order a lime jarrito!

This place has been in my radar for a while. Sabroso provides a delicious and time-efficient option for lunch. The staff were nice and attentive. I went around 1:30 pm and there wasn't much line. I asked for the steak burrito bowl without cream. It was prepared very quickly. All of the ingredients looked and tasted good. The rice, beans and steak were warm. The salad and cheese were fresh. Overall, it was a delicious burrito bowl. The restaurant was cozy and clean. There was some good bachata music playing in the background and sports in the TV. I didn't eat lunch at the restaurant but I'd be inclined to in the future. The portion was a little smaller than what I'd get at a place like Chipotle and the price is about the same. However, the overall eating experience is better than at any Chipotle I've been to.

I love this place! I went here today for the third time since I discovered them earlier this year. What a fabulous find! The food is phenomenal and the prices are very fair. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Good selection on their menu, and the decor and ambiance is very quaint, relaxing and attractive. Plenty of on-street or free (for three hours) garage parking just steps away. It's also just a few dozen feet away from the Orange Line entrance. They are doing Mexican cuisine right!!

I definitely liked the burrito bowl that I got. However, they did not give enough rice and so it was not proportional with the sauce. I don't think it was anything phenomenal because I have had better. If you are in the area and want Mexican food, it wouldn't hurt to come here though. The service was quick and inside was modern.

Great place! I love the steak burritos, they're huge and the steak tastes great. The nacho fries are huge portions. The fries are big, and there's lots of toppings including cheese, pico de gallo,guac, sour cream, and jalapenos. Everyone at this location is super nice.

I came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday with some friends and family. Not only did the place look unkept, but It's like we weren't even there when we sat down. It look 15 minutes to get our drinks orders in and then another 10 to get them. The service was terrible and after waiting about 45 minutes or so for our food I was beyond frustrated with every dish except the French fries. I was fooled by the good reviews but instead embarrassed bringing all my loved ones here. Save your money on a better restaurant, this was just absolutely horrific and I'd never come here again or send anyone here again. I'd put -2 stars if I could.

Small restaurant near the Assembly Row T stop. Good for a quick and filling lunch. I tried their steak quesadilla which was great. The serving is large so there is enough for leftovers. Would definitely stop again if visiting Assembly Row.

Got the chicken bowl. The only two negatives would have is: - Get very little or no rice. Theres definitely flavor in the rice, but theres more everywhere else. - on the expensive side, then again everything nowadays is. Meat bowls are 11.50. It does include guacamole though Fresh romain lettuce, great pico de gallo, the chicken itself isnt just boiled chicken, there definitely some spice to it (either cloves or allspice, maybe both!). If your debating sit down restaurant papagayo or fast casual sabroso, go with sabroso, Waayy more flavor! Note: sorry no photo, i ate it all first :-) . But the others photos do the food justice.

Great quick bite in Assembly row. Very fast service. Food was fresh and delicious. I got shrimp bowl, family got burritos. All very good. Honestly this is great when you want it to be fast!!

This place was AWESOME. Super clean inside. Very friendly, small staff. Menu was concise, not big, and to the point. I got a steak bowl. It came with everything on it. It was amazing. The dude who made my food was super cool and friendly as well. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

This was the first time I went here. The guy making the food was so rude. Don't ask for no guacamole because he literally gets so mad. I asked to not have a few things in my quesadilla and he basically ignored me. Still added guacamole and crema. He also gave my partner attitude when asking for no guacamole before the guy took my order. Spent $40 on food we didn't like. The meat was cold in the burrito bowl. If I could have gave this place no stars, I would have. I don't know how you can run a business without listening to your customers and what they would like or not like on their food. I hope the guys attitude gets fixed and starts being a bit nicer to customers.

The bf has been ordering lunch here for quite some time now, and for good reason. It is super easy to place an order and have it ready for you when you arrive- never takes more than 10 min. The portions are large, fillings are generous, and so many customizable options too! The service is super friendly, and the ambiance looks nice (nicer than a usual lunch pick up place) for dine in. Ordered: - Salad with grilled chicken and roasted veggies, black beans, tortilla strips, corn, guac, pico... plus jalapeno ranch dressing for around ~$13 which is not unreasonable. Filling portion too, and no leaks etc. which happens often from takeout places. Would definitely recommend for a quick grab and go in Assembly!

Amazing food. Tried their burrito bowl and it was yummy. I wish they had protein options for vegetarians as well. Loved their hot sauce - finally a mexican restaurant where the hot sauce is actually "hot". Super spicy and so good.

I love their shrimp burritos. Great spot. Nice and clean. Come here regularly and never disappoints. Consistently good Mexican food. Plus it's Assembly Row so you can walk around afterwards to burn off some calories.

I do not recommend it here. I work at Assembly row and today, I got guacamole and chips. Chips are exceptionally stale and guac is probably a day old with wilted cilantro. What? It's annoying when you are already limited with time, and you get your food, go back to wrk, enjoy your lunch and realize it's trash. I'm not spending my time to go back and ask for fresh chips and guacamole, but I am reviewing! Customer service is not great either. Not horrible but not welcoming and I'm Hispanic too! Go figure. Will NOT be going back ever. Picture actually makes it look more appetizing but it looks gray in real life. I also did get cheese quesadilla, not because I'm boring, but because others make me sick. Shame on me for going back.

Wow. Just wow. Stopped by to grab some quick lunch and ordered the steak quesadilla. Probably the best quesadilla I have had thus far. Their guacamole is also bomb.com, and that spicy sauce they have is actually the truth. Do yourself a favor and get some food here. The prices are pretty standard for Mexican food, and the staff is super nice and friendly. There are places to sit and the decor is pretty modern. My steak quesadilla was about $10. I got it to go and I like the fact that is was wrapped is foil, super easy to eat! I can't wait to go back and try more of their food!

Yum! The food was great here. I ordered online to pick up in store. I tried the burrito bowl and added cheese. I thought that the rice seasoned well, the chicken was fresh, and the portions are reasonable. My food came out to ~$12. I think it's a little more on the expensive side but the quality of food is great and you are supporting a local business! At this location, there is also indoor seating available. Would definitely come back if I was in the area again.

Awesome, fresh food! Good, fast option while shopping. Enjoyed the burritos, chips, salsa, and queso and they even threw in a free churro.

MOBILE PICK-UP ORDER REVIEW For my first time trying Sabroso, I ordered via their website (Chow Now) and was pleasantly surprised with the entire process. I ordered and less than 10 minutes later when I arrived, my food was ready despite there being a line of at least 8 people in store (also, it's great to see the place so busy). I ordered a steak burrito bowl with Guac and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food and the flavor of it all. The steak was tender and the guac was fresh. I think I would have been happy ordering anything on the menu. I can't wait to go back.

Ordered the burrito bowl and wasn't sorry! Generous portions, good flavoring and balance of flavors and heat. Guacamole and sour cream were included without additional charge. I will definitely be back, in fact I'm already looking forward to it! Next time I'll try to add pics before I dive in to start eating!

We have been coming here since it opened. Everything is always delicious! Very fresh and consistent flavors. A great option for a quick Mexican meal.

I don't know what I would do without you, Sabroso. No matter the type of day I'm having, no matter what the world throws at me, you are there to take me in your burrito bosom and cradle me. Recently I've been trying to be a bit healthier, so I'm opting for the burrito bowl with steak, and believe me, the lack of tortilla does not at all affect how delicious this food is. Just tell them you want everything on it. Don't even modify. Let them do what they do and you will be completely satisfied.

Best steak quesadilla I've had. Add rice and frijole, trust me! The chicken Chile verde soup is also amazing. I love this place.

Ambiance was cool but I didn't stay long because it was a pick up order. Service seemed fine as I waited with my coworker for their food. The burrito bowl I got was chewy, overall ingredients food was bland, mediocre, and overpriced for what I ordered. My coworker ordered a chicken quesadilla and wrote in the special requests for guacamole and salsa to be put on the side, but nope it was mixed in altogether.

Love this place. Fresh ingredients and good quality. The steak is always juicy and tender, I would love to know how they do it! Highly recommend.

13$$$ Idk about you all but that's a pretty penny for lunch to me. The burrito is bomb no doubt but 2$ for salsa? I can get a jar at Shaw's for that price.

Solid joint for takeaway American-Mexican food. This place reminds me of chipotle with different options. I ordered the shrimp burrito bowl and it was pretty tasty. The flavors were not the intense Mexican flavors that I would expect but more healthy and lighter version. The bowl comes with beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. All vegetables were fresh and crisp. If I'm in a bind for dinner, I will come back for a healthy meal!

This place is SO GOOD! The only reason I put 4 stars is because I ordered a cheese quesadilla for pickup assuming it would have all the toppings in it that the website says (crema, guac, pico de gallo, etc) but all it had was cheese.

Visited last night for the first time and had a great experience. The staff was so beyond sweet! I had a chicken burrito bowl with rice, beans, pico de gallo, guacomole, crema & hot sauce topped with lettuce and queso fresco. The flavors were amazing and the portions were just right. Deducted one star because my boyfriend ordered a quesadilla but they gave him a burrito. Luckily it was still delicious. I will definitely return!

Came here on a whim to grab a quick to-go dinner after shopping and was left somewhat satisfied? FOOD: I opted for the bowl as its my usual go-to every time I go to Chipotle/Qdoba/similar restaurant. The portion size was decent and the toppings were good, but the carnitas was way too salty for me. It was hard for me to finish the entire bowl without having the saltiness linger. The steak, however, tasted totally fine. SERVICE: Service was very speedy as it wasn't very busy.

Burrito was fantastic. A lot of meat, vegetables, guacamole, sour cream (this is my favorite) and etc. They've made it very fast, even faster than in Chipotle. I had just a minute to take a wallet and ready to pay. The burrito itself was delicious. It didn't felt a part, didn't leaked, but it was juicy. Parking: very bad. There are just a couple spots in front of the restaurant, other parking is pretty far. The place was clean, fresh, with a lot of tables.

As I watched my burrito being made, I kept thinking, "He's just plopping those ingredients onto the topping in a haphazard way." Well, he obviously knew better than I how to assemble a burrito, because it was really well made, it even stood up on end without assistance and without having ingredients fall out when I needed to put it down. The meats in the chicken and shrimp burritos were really flavorful. You actually get a little bit of guacamole as well - many places don't give you any unless you're willing to spend $1 or more to have it added. Overall, I think I paid maybe 20% more than I might have paid for something similar elsewhere, but I do realize you have to pay the rent in Assembly Row, so I think the price was reasonable for the location and what you get. It's a little bit of a walk from the main area, but worth it for the food, especially on a nice day.

Have been eating their burrito bowls, salads, and quesadillas for years. Carnitas is my personal favorite but people i go with love the chicken, shrimp, steak, and veggie options, can get a beer too which is nice

I've been meaning to want to try this place out as an alternative to the other Mexican options in Boston. I'm glad I got around to it this week. The carnitas bowl is out of this world. Anna's, Boloco, Chipotle and Tenoch do not compare! The carnitas was done to perfection. Tender with some crispy bits for that salty crunchy goodness in every bite. The guac was fresh and had the right combo of cilantro, lime and jalapeño. The rice had deep flavor and you can tell it was cooked with stock (chicken or so.) I'm looking forward to trying the other bowls and tacos on the menu.

I believe this location opened recently this week!! I've been seeing it at work and waiting for it to be open! I have the decor inside, very modern and open. There's booth seating along with other small tables and like a patio seating by the open window. I've seen the food truck but never tried it at South Station. I would compare this concept to Chipotle and Anna's Taqueria. I love that the menu is small. Focus on making what's on the menu good rather than having a ton of options. At lunch time, there's a huge line but it moves fast. I got the carnitas quesadilla -- reminds me of the one at Anna's. It was good and filling. The carnitas was a bit salty at the end but it didn't stop me from eating that up! Definitely going back to try their burrito bowl! Thanks for bringing good food to the Partners side of Assembly!

They're very quick...I've dined in and carried out a few times and I've never had to wait. The shrimp bowl is my go-to. Haven't tried anything else. My friend really liked the quesadilla, which looks more like a panini wrap (looks delicious! if I weren't doing the gluten free thing, I'd be all over it). The service is hit or miss. The guy on the phone wasn't friendly or helpful. But the food is pretty good.

Temper your expectations. I see a lot of positive reviews and have yet to witness that reflected in reality...tacos, burrito, and quesadilla have all come out barely edible. Soggy, not flavorful, just all around sad. Also, who puts guacamole inside a quesadilla??

There are so many options at assembly row to eat and I can't even keep up. I wanted something fast, fresh and bomb this place came through. Its located next to Mike's pastry it's very basic with your burritos, bowls, tacos or salads, protein options are shrimp, steak and chicken. I got the bowl with rice no beans, sour cream fresh cheese, lettuce and salsa with a splash of hot sauce. The chicken was not dry at all and they loaded it up I was very happy with that.The yellow rice was phenomenal and I am a huge rice guy I can eat that all day.. Plenty of places to sit its decorated nicely inside. On Yelp its says that it's a food truck but it's not. Staff was very friendly as well. Its another winner here for me as I will be coming back again.

Not really sure the reason this is labeled a food truck but this location is definitely a restaurant with options to sit down. The space is on the modern side a high ceiling. Upon entering, you go up to order and add on the fillings as you go down the counter, and they have a variety of items such as bowls, salads, tacos, and quesadillas. I'm still not used to taco pricings here, coming from California where tacos tend to be between $1-3 the tacos were an expensive choice for me ($9 for 2). I opted for the quesadilla with shrimp, which was actually really tasting. It's not quite the normal cheese quesadillas I'm used to, since it had so many fillings but I liked the combo with guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. I guess this is actually normal but I'm just used to dipping it. All in all, the food was tasty, though I'm not sure how it fares on the authenticity scale. Would come back for the shrimp quesadillas!

I've tried pretty much everything on their menu and there's nothing that disappointed me. Their Nachos, Fish Taco's and Quesadilla's are the best, you can't go wrong with those.

This place isn't Chipotle, but the food was well seasoned and tasty. I enjoyed the pork burrito bowl, however it's nothing to rave about.

Outstanding. Serioulsy. I ordered the steak quesadilla with everything on it- just the way it's supposed to be made. It was ready in minutes and made to order. Most flavorful quesadilla I have ever had. Excellente!

I don't come to Assembly and only heard of the place as I was on the main Assembly website to check out their dining options. I was excited to see they opened a burrito place because I LOVE burritos. I came here before the movies and it was a little difficult to find if you don't come to Assembly often as they are always adding new things. It was a freezing night so I was a bit annoyed that it wasn't in the general area but rather closer to the train station. Once we finally found it, really liked the decor, I think the Sabroso lights by the counter were a nice touch! I ordered a carnitas burrito, my boyfriend ordered a steak burrito and we also got chips and of course jarritos. Everything was delicious, tasty, and the portions were great. Adding a burrito place in Assembly was much needed and so happy they did. Will be coming back!
