Long wait to get seated. There was a seating area outside that has a food truck and a bar with only 4 beers on tap and wine. Once seated inside, the bar has a lot more choices, maybe around 30. There's seating both inside and outside. You have to find your own table. There was a live band and dogs allowed, which gave a fun stimulating atmosphere

Came here for an event and it was packed! Seems like this is a popular place to go to for a drink and to hang out with friends. Didn't take too long for me to get served and despite the amount of people the staff were very nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating, both spacious so if you wanted to come with a small group you could definitely make it work. Did not get any food from here so no opinion. Will have to come back and try more items.

Absolutely loved this place! The beer is amazing—great taste and a wide variety to choose from. The music adds a fun and vibrant vibe, making it a perfect hangout spot. What really stood out is how pet-friendly it is—our pup had a great time too! The outdoor seating area is spacious, cozy, and perfect for relaxing with friends or family. Everything about the ambiance is welcoming and laid-back. Whether you're here for a casual evening or a weekend chill, this spot checks all the boxes. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience with good brews and vibes!

This is a fantastic spot with a great atmosphere! The open-air setting and welcoming vibe make it a perfect place to relax with friends. There's a closed space too. I really appreciated that dogs are welcome, which adds to the friendly and community-oriented feel of the place. The service was excellent—staff were attentive and friendly. While parking can be a bit tricky, there’s plenty of street parking nearby. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy good drinks and a laid-back ambiance. Highly recommend!

Google
I’m very impressed with this place and their selection of beers and amazing outdoor area! @SacYard.Beer is a community tap house offering a rotating selection of the best independent craft brews in a family-friendly environment. Plus some of the best local bands in Sacramento hit their outdoor stage!!! ❤️ 🍻 🎶

Google
Where do I start ⁉️ Great space, some employees don't like their job and some do, some employees use stereotypical greetings, based on your appearance, just to make you feel welcome, which is a quick backfire, on making someone feel welcomed... "Hello and Hi" work really well... Pizza overpriced, like all pizza, I guess, when you eat out.... Beer delicious.... Vibe : dude dominated energy, nice backyard energy, could be a hangout for conservative minds, but the energy pointed in that direction on a Friday @3p. Music : Jam, lo fi, indie, could be a hundred times worst with popular music.. Will return, to see live music, and if there's hope for Sac City man and woman kind, to sit together and be "normal" for the sake of democracy?

Went on a Sunday and had so much fun sitting out on the patio and listening to some great chill music! The beers were fantastic, I am not a brew afficionado, but I can't just list what we had; the Belgian, blackberry cider, Grass Valley dark, and a Blonde. They were all a nice mouthful and full of flavors that really hit the spot. We will definitely go back. Nice mixed crowds and family-friendly on a Sunday afternoon.

Google
Music was fire! The dust/sand floors are not real fun and I can see where the summer months might need some water misters but plenty of seating, a very good food truck and great service from all of the employees. Parking a challenge for older patrons.

Yelp
SacYard Community Taphouse, Sacramento, CA - February 27, 2025 I came in on a Thursday evening at 5 pm to meet a few friends to enjoy some music, conversation, and beverages. SacYard is spacious, with a large open outdoor area with a good size stage at one end with lots of tables and chairs coming away from the stage. The tap area can be accessed from both outside and inside. There are tables and chairs near the tap room. There is another covered patio area on the other side of the tap room that is picnic table- style and a big screen TV. There is a food truck that is on that side. Bar service is always efficient and quick with plenty of servers to help you and lots of beer choices. We thought we would be listening to a Grateful Dead cover band, however, a Reggae band was playing instead. It was still nice to hear. We enjoyed our time together there.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Dog friendly. Large group friendly. Family friendly. And a great place to just hang out. Good selection of beer. Food is from Chow Food Truck. Food tastes great for food truck ~ but kind of spendy. Bands are great...only complaint is they are sooooo loud. Maybe it's just me?! and if that is the case then I can deal with it but just heads up that you may need to yell to talk with your friends when outside and the band is there. Recommend to go when weather is good and you want to chill and relax with your friends. Tip~ street parking is bad. Uber recommended.

Yelp
Ambiance: Great hangout spot. In a pinch, this is almost my de facto meet up spot. Huge for Sac state and UC Davis peeps. Definitely has that outdoor beer garden and indoor beer hall vibe. Ample outdoor seating in the main outdoor area with some TVs in back (no sound) and a stage up from for jazz and music nights. There is a smaller, cozier outdoor area on the other side which has a TV (no sound). Great spot on a nice day for a beer and to catch some of the game. Service: Everyone is very nice. The line starts inside or outside depending on the weather or time of day. Food: So, I think this is where they lose a star. They have a dedicated food truck there now which is fine. However, they use to have rotation, which I thought was awesome and part of the appeal to me. Please bring that back! They offer chips and pizza for purchase during certain times. Alcohol: Obviously, this is a beer place and I think it's 5 stars for the beer they offer. You get some pretty select beer and brewers here. For the non beer people, there are wine options as well.

Yelp
Came to SacYard Community Tap House this weekend for a big group get together. We starter out late afternoon indoors, at the large tables near the windows at first. And then as the sun set and it was warmer near the windows. Our group of 15 went out back to the whiskey barrel style tables, that had both shade from the pergola, misters. The outdoor area was a lot more lively as that's where the majors a patrons were, as they listened (and some danced) to the live band playing at the back stage. When ordering drinks, to keep things orderly, everyone ordered drinks outside at the designated area. But it's easier to see the drinks from indoors first, since you'd be making in from the opposite side of the brewery anyways. During our time here for food and drinks we ordered the following: DRINKS: Beers: Mexican Lager Salted Watermelon by Fieldworks Wine: Rosé FOOD: Chow-A-Bungs burger Philly cheese steak Protein bowl Lobster roll Overall: Very accommodating of both large and small groups. Good amount of seating indoors, but the outdoor area is where you wanted to be as the sun went down. Friendly staff, easy to order at the bar, food truck out front had a good selection of food. SacYard is also very dog friendly and even have a house dog, that walks around greeting people. Live music was a plus and everyone was just having a good time.

Maya R.

Yelp
Love the selection of beer they have here. The service is super fast and they have food options on site. It's a perfect place for big groups and families. I like that they have games available and lots of space to sit inside/outside.

Bobbie R.

Yelp
A great local watering hole. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Live music, tasty beer selection, all good in da hood!

Nasif H.

Yelp
Good vibes and beer. Seemed very kid/family friendly. Off the beaten path, but totally worth a visit.

Mia H.

Yelp
you can take ur dog here and everyone will ask you how old it is and then pet it. They don't really have food which sucks because one beer has me rolling on the floor and calling my ex that i broke up with 4 years ago. That would not happen if they served like garlic fries here or something. Knocking a star off for that...

Michael P.

Yelp
Your employees were literally rude to my friends in front of everyone just for wanting to try a beer. If this is how this establishment acts when trying to serve it's customers, then I'll take my business else where. At this point, I will not recommend this place to anyone I know.

Amy H.

Yelp
This place has such a wonderful vibe! We went on a strange night where they we were put on a waitlist to get into the main garden area which was strange cause usually everywhere is open to all (idk maybe its a new thing). But while we waited we could still sit at tables, order food from a food truck or drinks. I got two drinks one fruity and they other a root beer beer that might be one of my all time favorite drinks I've ever had. It was kind of like a run and coke but soo much better! We also ordered some rice and fries bowls to share from the food truck and they were absolutely delicious:) On this particular night they had a live band playing and some people even got up to dance. Sacyard is very age friendly as well and you see everyone with their dogs from young children to grandparents. It's very welcoming and has a sort of community feeling to it which I love. I would definitely recommend checking out sac yard if you are looking for a fun venue to hangout eat some good food and have a couple beers. Lovely

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
This place was a lot of fun. Came here with some colleagues. We were all visiting Sac for a conference and came here for a fun evening together. They had a great selection of beer, wine, and cider. They had lots of games to play, and a ton of seating. It was a Tuesday night and they were super busy. Everyone we ordered from was super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Charlene G.

Yelp
Dog-friendly brewery?! Yessss please! They serve sour beers?! Yessss please! If you're looking for a cool brewery that offers live music, then SacYard Community Tap House is the place for you! Tone Mosaic was playing last Saturday and they are a dope band that plays the live drums, trumpet, guitar and the singer is amazing! Surprisingly this is a family friendly brewery. Plenty of families bring their mini's to this brewery. Only down fall about this brewery is the parking situation. If you're lucky you'll find a street parking spot as someone is leaving. It seems like majority of the people that come here live walkable/nearby.

Noren R.

Yelp
First time coming here and while I did not order any of the drinks, I tried some of my friends. It was pretty good. They have a wide selection of beers and a beautiful outdoor sitting area. There's also a food truck nearby in case you are hungry. They have live music and lots of fire pits for those of you who are cold! I definitely was. I also like the small game area for if you need to move and do something as you socialize. I would love to come back here!

Ramon B.

Yelp
Loved the vibe and music and food! This is a solid beer locale in Sacto and shall not be ignored!

Derek N.

Yelp
Love this spot! Loads of beer options from all over, seating indoor or outdoor. Nash & Proper was the food truck on our visit, love them too! The staff will always let you try something before you commit. Very family and dog friendly, we dont have a dog, but lots of peeps showed with dogs.

Allen C.

Yelp
Fantastic beer garden in the downtown/east Sacramento area near the UC Davis medical center. Wonderful ambience perfect for friends catching up, a gathering/reunion type, or even date night. Very child friendly w/ plenty of outdoor seating, fire pits, and dog friendly w/ bowls and space for the pups to run around. Prices for their beers are reasonable. Selection is excellent and their bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. They have rotating food trucks on certain days - when we were there, they had a small woodfire pizza team baking pizzas on site. Very tasty albeit a bit pricey per medium pie (~$18). Parking is ATROCIOUS, so if you have the choice to bring a smaller vehicle for side street parking, take it. They have no lot of their own, so it's all side streets, which can be challenging during busier hours. Otherwise highly recommended - would definitely plan on meeting here for happy hour in the future!

Yelp
I love visiting tap houses when I visit a new place. Breweries are great but if you find yourself not liking their style you may have wasted an Uber trip. The tap house gives plenty of options from (usually) local breweries and a couple known go-to beers just in case. We visited on a balmy 102 degree night and were excited to see misters on the outside patio. There were two patios set up, one more rowdy with an awesome local band and another more subdued with people playing board games. The board game side also had a food truck called Portu Goal serving Portuguese food to pair with the beers. The beer selection was top notch and despite a good line, the service was quick and attentive. Unfortunately the day we visited the food truck was out of sandwiches but the Piri Piri chicken plate was the perfect compliment to a juicy IPA (I know these are separate businesses but the food truck choices are key for a business!!) SacYard had a bit for everyone. Live (and lively) music, great food, great beer selection, and some game areas as well. Will make another stop here on a (hopefully cooler) visit to town next time!

Mike W.

Yelp
SacYard holds a very special place in our hearts. Having lived only a few blocks from this brewery, we came here quite often not only for good beer but also for the food trucks that rotated everyday. It was a good place to wind down at the end of the day. The servers seem to always be in good spirits and won't hesitate to turn on the heaters on a cold day or offer blankets. SacYard also happened to be the first place we took our newborn out to after being cooped up in the house for a month. As first time parents, SacYard was a breath of fresh air for us and was good for our mental health as we needed a place that was close by, had food/drinks, and was also SUPER baby friendly. The establishment is set up in 3 separate areas. The main outdoor area is where we use to hang out pre-baby. There is an indoor area plus a smaller patio area on the other side where the food truck was located. The smaller patio was a great place for us to bring our baby because it was usually quiet (the bands usually play in the main outdoor area). They have a water dispenser that can also dispense hot water so heating up milk bottles for our child was never an issue. Thank you SacYard for all that you have provided for me and my family during the struggles of being first time parents!

Yelp
Two years after my first review I figured it's time to update everyone. Sooo this place is still the best place in Sacramento! This community tap room and wine house is hitting home runs in every upgrade, music and food truck they have. Over the years as we grew out of Covid the owners continue to push the boundaries of what they can offer here at Sac Yard. From increasing shading canvas, umbrellas and a ton more misters for the summer is amazing. In the winter they have invested in a LARGE amount of heaters to ensure EACH table is heated. They also are incredibly easy going and quick to get you a new propane tank in case it runs out (other locations are often out of refills, NOT SacYard!). For these recent additions Sac Yard has continued to recognize and support their community. Along with the community, they have increased a ton of outreach from on-site markets, dog adoptions, earth day activities, company parties, birthday, sports events and more. They seriously don't hold back in supporting the community. There is not enough kudos you can give a locations. Oh btw. They have 24 beers on tap and about 18 wines. The beers and wine are always top class! Idk how they do it but they are choosing the right beer all the time! Don't get me started on the epic TapRoom Takeovers that they often have from local and domestic breweries. Also, if you are a music lover then this is your spot. Super consistent free live music. From Jazz to Rock to BlueGrass, they have it all! Stop by and enjoy a beer or wine with live music and killer food from which ever food truck is present!

Yelp
Sent my brother in law a list of places to choose from to celebrate his birthday. He ouches this awesome place and I was really excited to try something new! We got there around 1:30 on a Saturday and it was already pretty busy. They don't have a private parking lot that I'm aware of but there is a lot of street parking. We were able to snag a bench in the shade in the middle of the outdoor area. The menu is inside but their registers weren't working so we had to order from their outdoor window area which they had split into two line. All of the staff was so friendly and very personable as well as knowledgable about their menu and were able to make some excellent suggestions. I did start with their hard Kombucha because I am aallllll about that right now! I tried the POG flavor and loved it. That's passion fruit, orange and guava. My husband tried one that reminded me of a pina colada and it was really good too. Second round I went for their cider which was a guava chile one and holy hell. The best flavor I have tried thus far! It was so good and had a little kick from the chile which was my favorite part. They also had a mexican food truck on-site which paired well with your drinks. This place is kid & dog friendly. There are some games for kids (or adults lol) and water ( with bowls) and treats for the pups! I can see myself visiting quite often this summer.

Renee P.

Yelp
Fun ambiance, great beer. I wanna come back when the food truck is open, we went on a Monday so we just had a beer and sat under the misters.

Cynthia W.

Yelp
Great place to pregame if you are eating at Canon. Music good beer kids dogs all the things. Rusthaller in Dixon, Berryessa Brewery, Lake Tahoe Aleworx, the Yard at Napa. I am loving all these beer gardens! It's nice that they could make this happen in an urban setting. If you are in East Sac, stop by! If you are eating at Canon, and you should! stop by!

Lily R.

Yelp
I was expecting more from this place considering the reviews. I guess I can't complain all that much, the spot is cool I like the vibe. I was disappointed in the beer choices. Not the best but not the worst.

Nick S.

Yelp
Great neighborhood tap house with live music and a great beer selection. Good place to bring kids.

Ralph E.

Yelp
I like sacyard. I've been coming here since they opened and I really used to enjoy it. I went there during the pandemic probably too much, I go there on Thanksgiving. In fact it took me months to write this because I like this place so much that I didn't want to. But I've realized something when I went this last week. I don't really feel comfortable being there anymore and it's because of a single person that works there. this one employee. I don't know what her deal is but I know that a friend had an issue where she was stereotyping that friend and another situation back in November I believe. I was there with my friend and we're having a good time, my friend she goes to the bathroom and when she comes back she tells me that she has the strangest experience. The employee with the red hair followed her into the bathroom, and berated her about smoking in the bathroom. My friend doesn't smoke, she doesn't vape, she told her I'm not smoking in here and she says yes you were I can smell it. You can't smoke in here. I'm wondering if she does this to everyone, and I'm wondering if more instances will start coming up now that the crowd is really diversifying. It makes me sad to write this. It genuinely does but it makes me sadder that I no longer feel comfortable going there. It's a bummer because everything else about the place is great.

Mike C.

Yelp
Second-time visitor, first-time reviewer :) Cool, and huge, location. Lots of room indoors (which was packed on this rainy Sunday) and plenty of outdoor space as well. Nice rotating selection of beer, ciders, seltzers and wine. Food also available from their small kitchen or food truck outdoors. Dog friendly (yay!), kid friendly (meh) and be prepared for lots and lots of noise if the weather isn't the greatest. Still, 5-stars from here. Great, helpful beertenders as well. Definitely a place to go!

Randy N.

Yelp
Good place for beer and all the staff are friendly. If you want a good place for vibes to spend with your friends, it's a great place to go to in Sac with a rotation of food trucks.

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
The ambiance was good, and the beer selection was great, but the four cheese pizza from the bar menu was nearly inedible. Kind of tasted like a stale cracker with a tablespoon of red sauce, and some of the gummiest cheese I've ever tasted on top. It didn't even look baked, more like microwaved. Would probably return for the beer. But the pizza? Never again. I'd rather pay $10 for a Costco pizza rather than $22 for whatever that was.

Brison W.

Yelp
Nice brewery to check out in the area. I'm a cider man and they had a few to choose from when I went. Good ambiance and vibes, and a beautiful outdoor area to socialize and relax in.

Jaber A.

Yelp
My favorite place ever! I come here and change my mood and having fun truly it's nice to sit and drink couple of beer.

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Great spot for a bear, games and a run. Every Tuesday at 6pm join the Fleet Feet crew for a nice 3 mile run. You can bring your family, pets, friends etc. There are a bunch of people who meet for a run, a while running group. Dogs every where and everyone is super friendly. There are also yard games and plenty of heaters to help with chilly evening times. If your a local runner or a visitor who is a runner, this place on Tuesday is your spot.

Chloe B.

Yelp
I was invited out for my sister in laws birthday. It's tucked in industrial area and houses. Parking is limited and you definitely have to work for it. Once you walk up it can be a bit overwhelming. There are people everywhere and music bumping. Getting a table can be rough especially on a Saturday night but if you can push through you can get one. The staff is frieven though they're super busy. Bathrooms are near the bar to the right. They have lots of taps and a food truck out front. A place to be if you're into beer and social networking.

Clayton N.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! Probably one of my favorite places to hangout with friends since moving to Sacramento. They always have the best beers, good food trucks and live music! What more could you want?! Also, it's dog friendly! My friends and I usually like to sit outside since we bring my dog. Last time they also hosted a pug event so there were tons of little pugs which was awesome. The workers are always super friendly and have great beer recommendations. Food truck is always super good, especially after throwing a few beers back. 10/10 recommend!!

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Came to SacYard on a whim because i wanted a good beer and great vibes. Parking was equivalent to that of L.A., meaning I parked a good 3 blocks away and walked on over -- not an issue for me but figured i'd flag. There's plenty of beer options, food trucks, and lots of seating on both sides of the brewery. When I came, they also had a band from atlanta playing which was nice, with corn hole games going on in the background. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a chill night out with friends

Michael M.

Yelp
I think this might be one of my favorite spots in town. The atmosphere is always good, they always have something going on there(live music, trivia, and other events). The servers are all helpful and friendly. They also have a good selection of beers on tap for all flavor palates and the have food on site as well. Including pizza, hamburgers, protein bowls, and more. Stop by and see for yourself. It a nice hang.

Rob L.

Yelp
We went there over the weekend. The place was completely packed. The band was cool, and I actually like the beer and the food truck. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan. It's just one of those places that can't decide whether it's a place for adults or kids while serving alcohol. I get that young families think it's great to bring their 3-4 year old to a brewery, but not sure kids running around and half-drunk adults are a good mix. We had to go to the quieter side of the yard to drink our beers, and were not able to enjoy the band at all.

Mua T.

Yelp
Nice place to enjoy your evening with a nice cold brew drink. Service was good and fast. They also have variety of wine if you're not into craft beers.

Michael K.

Yelp
Such a good spot when the weather is nice. Now that they have a permanent food truck it really has entered a new level. The rotating selection of beer never disappoints with a variety from all over the state and country

Petra F.

Yelp
By far my favorite neighborhood Tap House with a upbeat and fun vibe. Great weekend live bands and very dog friendly. Here you'll find excellent craft beers , ciders and wine. Amazing variety of the best food trucks onsite. I appreciate the massive amount of indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of shade covering on those hot summer days. Rain or shine, Sac Yard is always ready to take care of their customers.

Lisa B.

Yelp
I'm so thankful for this dog friendly brewery! There beer is SO freaking good y'all. & they have live music on weekends! Their pizza was so/so but I love the atmosphere here! Such good vibes. This places does get really packed tho FYI even on a Sunday.

Jonathan C.

Yelp
This is an amazing community gathering spot! We came here for a work meeting, and there was plenty of outdoor seating with coverings and light mist spraying to keep us cool. There were a bunch of other groups we ran into from work here as well, as well as a bunch of other running/jogging groups that decided to meet here. The drink selection is vast with a decent variety for all. Street parking only though!

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Great place to grab a beer. Tons of options but majority of those are IPAs as a stout drinker it was disappointing they only had 2 stout related drinks and they both were tasty. No food on site other than food trucks and their chips and salsa. I recommend getting the habanero one, spicy but soo delicious. Leaves the tip of the tongue tingling. Live music and dog friendly. Would recommend it as the starting point of your Friday or the last stop. Will come back again. Great staff, friendly.

Markus R.

Yelp
The location is strange. It's in midtown near-ish to the hospitals and in between random (seemingly abandoned) buildings. The problem seems to be parking since it's busy on nights and there is never enough of it. You can park a couple streets over or even near the residential area but it's a bit of a walk. The service is great. The employees are friendly and help make suggestions on what to get. The ambiance is beautiful, one of the best breweries in Sac for sure. It feels like you are out drinking with family. The prices are decent. You can get a slice of delicious pizza for $5. Some people don't like the pizza but I have to say it was one of the most tasty slices I have had in a while. There is also a rotating food truck everyday if you do not like what they have to offer. The Indian food truck they had was packed with flavor. The drinks are also a decent price ($7) but really have a kick. One or two drinks will certainly have you feeling woozy (if you're a lightweight like me). You will most likely walk out of here content for around $20. Bottom Line/TLDR: great vibes and heavy hitting drinks

Whitney D.

Yelp
I only give 5 stars to places where the food and service is out of this world. So I would give SacYard 4 stars but every time I come here parking is a nightmare so I took a star away for that. It's a weird location, it's right by the corner of a busy street and surrounded by mostly homes. The street is super narrow and there's always cars lining both sides so you barely have room to pass if another car is passing you. If you are lucky enough to find parking sort of nearby (it's all parallel parking) I'm always worried that someone leaving buzzed or drunk will side-swipe my car. They have a good selection of beer (none of it made in house). I like that they have a lot of beer from local breweries. There's a ton of outdoor seating and some indoor seating too. This place is dog friendly as well. They have a lot of events (comedy night, running clubs, etc.) and they usually have a local food truck too. This place does not have a kitchen, which is why they have food trucks. Check their website or social media to see their upcoming events and what food trucks they will have. The whole reason I give it such a low rating is because parking there is a nightmare and public transportation in Sacramento is awful. Every time I come here I get so frustrated with the parking/location.

Julia R.

Yelp
Met up with the gals on a Sunday afternoon so with that being said there were a few setbacks so I'll start with the bad and end with the good. For starters...parking. The outdoor seating had its limitations due to a party but we were able to find ourselves a high top barrel. Food truck (Nash & proper) was provided however their wait was astronomical. Aside from the side static I will say the Chismosa Lager tasted so delicious i went around for seconds and finished it off with some Hefeweizen . They also offer a variety of wines. There's also is a section that has family friendly games such as corn hole, large checkers and more so feel free to bring to entire family. Dog friendly

Carol P.

Yelp
This has become a go-to for our after-work parties or hangouts. The outside yard is lit, especially on a Friday (when it's not raining). Their indoor area is spacious if you want to stay out of the elements, and I think there is another smaller patio on the other side when the yard fills up. This is definitely a neighborhood favorite and they have a decent list of rotating beers and wines. They serve a couple things from their kitchen and there is usually a food truck parked outside. Dogs, kids, and large groups welcome. You can even reserve some tables up front near the stage where a live band might be playing. Order drinks at the outdoor window counter. They may or may not be taking orders inside. It's a fun, casual, and comfortable atmosphere, a true community vibe here!

Yelp
We stopped in on a Saturday around noon with about 15 people. There were lots of tables inside and out. The service was great and the staff were friendly. They had corn-hole boards out front and a food truck (Nash & Proper). Looking forward to visiting again !

Yelp
What a rad spot! Sac is lucky to have this wonderful hang that's perfect for friends and even families to gather! We had some light bites and drinks with our little kiddos over at Canon (really good) and when we walked out we heard the jammy tunes coming over the wall. Naturally we had to stroll around the corner to see what was up, and we were so glad we did. Sac Yard has a huge outdoor area for patrons to enjoy. There are tables, high tops, bar height seating and more that can accommodate any sized group. The market lights add a nice vibe, and the live music pushes this over the top. In non-COVID times they also have a nice bar area inside too. We found the cornhole boards, which kept our kiddos entertained for the hour or so we hung out. As the name implies, they have a large tap list of great beer, a few cider options, wine and hard seltzer too! Prices were reasonable, and you can't help but feel cool hanging on to a nice glass here. I don't know who the band was, but they were great. I felt like I had wandered into a random music festival in the middle of Sacramento, and hung onto every note while I watched all sorts of people vibing to the tunes. Even my toddler felt the urge to jump up on a table and bust a move! This spot is a gem. Go!

Yelp
Great beer and a cool, relaxed ambiance. Dog friendly is always a plus. We had a large party that booked ahead and they ran out of pizza for about an hour during our reservation time (which was paid for) even though I mentioned our group size and that we were coming to eat. Other than that speed bump it was a good time.
